Ive had this for about 4yrs or so and its still in perfect order,the bulb is made of good quality materials hence the reason its lasted so long.If regular anal fun is on the cards then i think some kind of douche is needed(some ppl disagree)to make the situation considerably cleaner and more enjoyable,so if your looking for something which is going to last then why not purchase this at such a good price.Also if youve never used a douche before youll be amazed at the sensations and pleasure of being filled with water makes,I personally always boil the kettle for my water(MAKING SURE ITS SUFFICIENTLY COOLED BEFORE USE)

Whirling Spray Anal Douche
Douches are not exactly the most attractive things however this one seams to be made of good quality material. I have used this a few times now and it does the job well. I personally find that if you are going to indulge in anal play that some form of douche should be used. It makes the experience less messy (i.e. less chance of getting some poo on your toys or indeed penis) Just fill with water insert, squeeze the bulb to fill yourself up then squeeze out the water! Simple and effective. I found that the feeling of being filled with water was rather pleasurable and the whirling attachment made this a little bit more exciting!

Does the job!
The main thing this picture can’t convey is the size of this thing – I was amazed at how big the bulb is: probably a little bigger than your fist. I found the ‘Whirling’ effect to be more simply describable as a 360 degree spray – it doesn’t whirl anywhere really, just comes out of all sides of the head of the thing at the same time. It seems to do the job of cleaning very effectively, though I’m not honestly sure whether the extra attachment helps with that – though it is a bit of fun. One thing I would say is that the head of the attachment necessarily has a slot cut all the way around it to let water out, which is a little uncomfortable friction-wise, so I couldn’t use it without taking a certain amount more caution than I would normally like to. Finally, the packaging it comes in is godawful – two depressed looking half naked people in horrible white undies, on a Eurotrashy bright yellow (and HUGE) box. If you’re planning to introduce this to your lovelife as a credible bit of kit, don’t let your partner see the trashy box!

Clean as a whistle
An absolute must for anyone who is into anal sex, or is thinking of trying it. Personally I can’t relax fully unless I know I’m completely clean inside, and relaxation is the most important thing for any form of anal play. This douche is just the right size – it offers a decent capacity without looking TOO intimidating – and has a pliable rubber bulb that is easy to squeeze. The narrow nozzle is smooth with no rough edges or seams, and once coated with just a smidgeon of lube, inserts easily without discomfort. Some douches are a little rough on one’s delicate areas, but this one isn’t! The whirling spray attachment doesn’t make the basic douche work any better or worse, but it does have a rounded tip which some people may find more comfortable and/or appealing to use. Either way, it’s nice having the choice. The instructions are kind of sparse, but really there’s not much to it. Just fill with warmish water, lube the nozzle and insert, then squeeze the bulb. Sit on the toilet, expel the water, and then repeat the process as many times as needed. Usually I find twice is plenty, and the whole process takes no more than a few minutes. Not a lot more can be said about it, but that’s probably a good thing. It’s a nice, simple product that does what it’s supposed to do.

Very useful
This is a very handy tool if you like anal play its alot nicer to be clean. The bulb holds quite abit of water i usualy use two full bulbs and release then if needed i repeat. It can be alittle hard to squeeze depending on your position. I have found that the lube can wash off when you refil but thats not this things fault. There isnt much pleasure from using it as its more of a toll than a toy but it dose its job well.

Clean as a whistle
Firstly, the packaging is awful. Beyond awful, I was so embaressed I almost sent the toy back. Bin it, burn it, whatever. Just get the toy out and have a cup of tea to calm down. So, the douche. I like it – the packaging goes on about vaginal use, but it’s brilliant for anal. I only use it anally, so I can’t comment on vaginal. I can relax into anal much better if I know I’m as clean as possible, so this is more prep than play. Still fun though. It’s actually quite large, but easy enough for me to hold and squeeze with my tiny hands. I prefer to use the thin nozzle, not the attachment as I worry about how easy it will be to clean – there’s a slit running around it that could get stuff in. Still, both do the job. You fill the bulb with tepid water, although cold is very enjoyable, but beware of hot as I imagine a scalded rear entrance would really hurt. Lube up and gently push in. This is a little tricky as you have to sit on the loo to do it (and another reason I prefer the little one – it’s shorter and easier to maneouvre). You squeeze and fill yourself up, then remove while still squeezing – you don’t want the water being sucked back up inside as that would make it impossible to clean – the bulb can’t be detached. Then contract your muscles and squirt it back out. I just keep going til it runs clear which doesn’t take long. All in all, it’s pretty good. I really enjoy myself when I’m doing this – cross between the naughtiness and the sensation. I’ve got quite close to coming a few times. But for heavens sake don’t get any air up there! That is really bad and embaressing.

Does what it's meant to do
This is the second douche that I’ve bought. The first was the Blue Anal Douche but in my experiance all it did was leak and the water never got to where it was supposed to go. So I decided I’d try a different one. After reading reviews I dediced I’d give this one a go. I gave it a go when I recieved it and striaght away I could see this was a much better product. The bulb is much easier to squeeze and the attchment that fits on is very comfortable when inserted thanks to the rounded head. The seal between the bulb and attchment is very tight meaning that the bulb end isn’t going to slip out of the attachment and that the water isn’t going to leak out either which is definately a bonus. This meant that the water got to where it was meant to be going and I found that it worked much better as a result. I would definatley recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive douche that does what its meant to do and does it well and is also of a good quality.

Useful, but kind of fiddly to use
I love anal play, and learned from Dan Savage that douching about an hour ahead of time is the best way to make sure no unpleasant surprises put a halt to proceedings. I picked this douche because I thought the separate spray nozzle would make cleaning easier. However, that nozzle was, for me, too large to use without already getting relaxed and aroused. Since I wanted to be clean before the play started, and then leave time afterwards to make sure no water was left inside, this turned out to be impractical, and I only used the narrow nozzle. However, it can also be removed from the rubber bulb for cleaning. The product description says the bulb is soft and pliable. Perhaps this product was designed with gay men in mind, and that someone with larger and stronger hands does find it ‘soft and pliable. I found it stiff and very difficult to squeeze, especially while reaching behind or underneath to squeeze the bulb after insertion. I tried different positions – over the toilet, kneeling in the tub, and it just didn’t get easier. I could get maybe 1/4 of the water in the bulb squeezed out, and then I had to remove it and refill to avoid reverse suctioning. I need too many tries to feel that I have inserted enough water to be worth the effort, so it isn’t getting much use. However, when I do use it, it does feel great later to be clean for anal play. A no-return valve would help a lot, as would a softer bulb. Cleanup isn’t very difficult, as the thin nozzle removes from the bulb, but I do worry a bit about bacteria inside the bulb as I can’t completely avoid water going back into it. On the whole, I can recommend it to someone with strong hands, or who is willing to have a partner help them. But if you regularly ask for help opening kitchen jars, you won’t be able to use this on your own.

A very disappointing purchase
I bought this douche to replace a previous douche I bought which kept leaking. I opened the box and unscrewed the nozzle only to find a loose black piece inside the douche which I could not remove or out back into position. This meant I could not attach the whirling nozzle and that the other nozzle is not secure. I had not even had a chance to use it yet, so I am very disappointed with this purchase and will get the next model up instead!

Anything anal is better clean, and this does the job of cleaning very well, either with or without the attachment. I bought this product as a beginner and was a little concerned by the size of the dome tip but it’s great that this is detachable and you can just use the narrow tip. Good douche
As we started to get into anal play wanted to make sure everything up there was as clean as possible. Looked at various products on the lovehoney site decided on this one. Basic, but effective. There are no sharp edges, the tip is comfortable, and the bulb is easy enough to squeeze. The only drawback is that the ‘whirling’ nozzle’s tip screws right off, so I didn’t want to risk using it. Maybe not for everybody
This was the first douche that I’ve tried. The packaging is not subltle at all, but I guess you get over it and throw it away as soon as you open it. I personally don’t use the whirling nozzle and I think it would be useful for arousal purposes mostly, if you like the sensation of the water. To get clean, the slim nozzle is easier and faster to use. The bulb is quite big and you can fill it with a good amount of liquid, but it’s very thick. That means, it will last a long time, but it also makes it kind of difficult to control the flow rate and you can’t empty it completely without incurring the risk of a reverse flow ‘accident’. That defeats the purpose of holding that much liquid, as it only gets heavier and harder to handle. I would have liked a different kind of bulb.

Great Product
I bought this as my 1st Anal Douche. Now the one I have is the same one as pictured. It only has one head with jet spray openings near the end. Simple but effective
If you’re interested in anal play, want to clean yourself out, or have a medical fetish of some kind, this is the product for you. I got this back when I was first started experimenting with anal and I’m glad I did! This is a really sturdy bit of equipment. It’s 3 years later and it still works. Awful packaging
The product itself is exactly as I expected. This is the first anal douche I’ve purchased and its a lot bigger than I expected, however it works comfortably and effectively. The packaging, however was a major let-down. It has a really off-putting picture of a naked couple posing on the front and really unnecessary ‘instructions’ which suggest the douche is mostly for vaginal use, saying that the ‘whirling spray’ is supposed to be ‘pleasurable’. The spray is nowhere near as powerful as it suggests and as I see it, this is just a tool to clean yourself with. A nice, simple box with a picture of the product on the front would’ve been sufficient.

I was reading the reviews for several douches thoroughly before deciding to try this one. I have to say I have no regrets at all. I was a bit concerned about the “massage” addition after having read the reviews, but they proved to be wrong. There are no problems at all attaching it and it gives a very nice feeling when using it. I’ve tried both with and without attachment and the douche is very effective, and no problems in understanding how to use it. Just squeeze the ball and dip into luke warm water, then add some lube on the top and push it in – it goes inside without any problems – and then squeeze again (just remember to keep it squeezed until you take it out, otherwise the fluid will come into it). For me it was fully enough doing the cleaning twice. So, you can’t ask for anything better.

It works for me
I bought this particular douche because I actually find the narrow nozzle that is more common uncomfortable to insert. The rounded end slips in quite easily (with a bit of lube). Using it is the same as any bulb based douche – fill it completely with warm water, ensuring that any trapped air is removed and then insert into the anus and squeeze. Remove the douche, release the water from your ass and repeat as necessary. Cleaning this item is a little awkward, since the thin nozzle is glued to the bulb. Other douches allow this to be detached for cleaning. But that’s a minor issue – I clean mine by sucking soapy water into the bulb, and then repeating with clean water to rinse it before allowing it to dry thoroughly.

I bought the Rio Thong set so I thought I should buy a douche to make sure I was clean “down there” first. This douche seems to be the ticket. The order arrived on the 21st. but as I share a house I didn’t get a chance to be alone until this morning [25th.]. I bought this as my first anal douche. I bought it primarily for the bulbous end that gives the whirling spray. I used it by ripping off the nozzles and filling with water rather than trying to suck it up through the nozzle. It worked okay but was a little difficult to remove the nozzle. Maybe it’s not designed to work like that. The problem I had with it was the join on the bulbous part where the water comes out. It is just two sharp edges that seem harmless until your delicate inner linings clamp down on them and it feels like you are being cut or scraped. I tried it twice and will never use that nozzle again. Fortunately it still has the smaller nozzle which works fine. This thing needs a serious redesign

ok so this product does what it says on the tin. it works well cleaning you up before anal play. its very easy to use and the build quality is good. i would say that the standard nozzle was the best for me. the additional nozzle has a small lip on it which can catch you and be a little uncomfortable on the way in and out. A first approach to new experiences
Well, I always was straight and a little curious about how anal pleasure seems like. So, my fiancée and I decided to buy this anal douche. I’ve always been intrigued about using a douche, Have heard great things with what I have read in reviews and on the internet. Clean anal sex is the best way to go

Essential for clean anal
It holds a large quantity of water compared to others. This means less douches are required to meet a standard of cleanliness. It’s also relatively easy to clean. The second nozzle isn’t the best. Regardless of the amount of lube used, the lip of the nozzle hurts a little on insertion and removal. I would highly recommend the product without the second nozzle.

If you wish to play in the back door , you Must clean up before hand . The bulb holds a nice amount of water and the small insert is easy and quick . The larger one is probably more effective . The first thing is to get the water temp at a comfortable temperature . The second thing is to fill it right to opening (I use water based lube for the very tip ) . Unless you wish to pump your bum full of air , with resulting mess when expelled . I find I do several rinsings to make sure things are clean . Lets face it , having your partner find a mess might somewhat ruin the moment .

Great hygiene tool
The product arrived promptly the day after I ordered. I have never had a problem with any delivery from lovehoney. I was particularly grateful of the discreet packaging as I was out at the time and it ended up at the local post office. That could of been a awkward pick up! This is the first time I have tried a anal douche and there was very clear directions that were easy to use. My wife is a beauty therapist and does a lot of Brazilian and Hollywood waxing. One thing she always mentions is “smelly bum smells.” No amount of wiping can get rid of them. I was due to be waxed by her so I tried it the morning before. With a little lube it was fairly easy to insert and the sensation of the water entering is not uncomfortable at all. I used it 3-4 time initially to make 100% sure the water ran clear. There were some strange sounds from the bathroom when I used it that had my wife giggling. I went for the wax with my wife and I didn’t feel self conscious about her being near my bottom at all for the first time. And she happily reported no smelly bum smells!! I now use this regularly as a matter of hygiene and before anal play. The worry about mess used to make us hesitant about anal play but this douche has got rub if that worry.

The colour and feel is perfect and does what its supposed to, the tip can be a bit pointy and the extension can seem intimidating. You also need to make sure that the cap on the extension is closed and tightened as that could be a bit worrying. But overall a good product

Some assembly required
Easy to use to help get thing cleaned out. One thing that took some work to actually setup correctly was the larger tip (which is great for cleaning out the rectum without giving yourself a full-on enema). You have to actually work to get a tight seal between the main bulb insert, the tip, and the band that the tip slides into (the blue triangle shaped piece in the picture). If you don’t have it really on tight, when you squeeze the bulb you are also squeezing water all over your hands.

Love the round head
I have used a few anal douches in the past and for me, they all seem to have the same issue, those small little nozzles which seem to have the edges sharpened! This has always caused me pain and discomfort trying to get the nozzle inserted. I purchased this douche set because of the second head attachment, which looks might nicer to insert. When I use this douche I always start with the rounded attachment first, which is slightly larger than you might think looking at the product images, this means you need to use some extra lube to get it in, but I don’t mind this ass generally the fact that I’m using it means I’m looking to get nice and loose down there anyway. The rounded head only sprays water out from the rim of the head meaning it cleans the sides but not deep inside like the other nozzle, so after using the rounded head I always then remove the attachment to use the standard nozzle to get nice and clean deep inside. One thing to note when removing the rounded attachment is that after using it there is some water left between the attachment and the body of the douche, so always remove the attachment over something to catch this. But I do find that after using the rounded attachment the smaller nozzle does go in easier, even if the edges are a little sharp. Overall, this douche works well as I expected, I would love to have another attachment with a rounded head but with the opening at the top, but I can highly recommend this for anyone with the same issues as me with the smaller nozzles.

Too much, and too little, at the same time
Very grateful for lovehoney’s satisfaction guarantee, as this one wont be staying in our arsenal. The bulb is too firm to squeeze the water out, and you end up pushing air into yourself. The tip applicator has to be pushed into the bulb, as opposed to an easier screw in application. If you have extremely strong hands (which I thought I did) you may have better luck. The price is a little steep for the basic application.

Want a comfortable way to prepare for play back there? Then this one is an affordable and comfortable option. I’m really small and petite, and this still fit in nicely–especially if you lube the tube. I’ve actually managed to get it in there once even without lube. I got this mainly for the extra nozzle as it looked more friendly. I tried with the thin nozzle first and it was fine, but the other nozzle was much better due to the other one poking and not being as comfortable, so I only use the spray nozzle. Great product with that nozzle on and cleans well

The bulb does exactly what is supposed to do. Also had no issue with the massage nozzle, that other reviews had some problem with. It would be nice if the bulb or nozzle had a back flow valve to prevent liquid from returning into the bulb. Had some difficulty attaching the bulb to the nozzle at first but I think the bulb needed to be used a couple of times to be broken in.

This is totally Worthless. The bulb itself is impossibly Tough to squeeze once it is inserted. The idea looks good, but it is not effective. I am not new to douching and thought this contraption would be more effective. I am totally disappointed.

First time user and first impressions were “Wow, this looks big!” However, once you assemble the douche it is easy to fill and with plenty of lube, it inserts well and dispenses the contents of the bulb easily. Using it for the first time was a new experience for me but after two “flushes” it was so liberating to be confident of being clean. Easy to wash in warm water and with LH toy cleaner – not quite discrete, but dries easy enough to put away

deluxe anal douche kit
The kit was very simple in design and very easy to use. However, you do need to completely lubricate the nozzle before inserting it into your anus as it can be painful. A suggestion also would be to make the bulb out of a softer rubberised material as that would help to squeeze the bulb much easier.
