A luxurious piece of equipment that may be too large for most, given its limited uses.
We were captivated by the look of this pillow. The luxurious red fabric, charming little bows, and the excitement of new positions it could offer us.It arrives like a vacuum-packed mattress. After unwrapping, the air begins to be sucked in, causing it to unfold. The leaflet suggests that it takes 24 hours to reach complete expansion, after which the zippered cover can be fastened.Once ready, you have a pillow approximately 1. 5 times the length of a standard pillow, but thick and relatively firm. I initially tried to sleep on it, but found it too deep and firm, leading to the main issue: storage.Since it can’t replace your regular bed pillows and doesn’t deflate, you’ll need to find a place to store it when not in use. Currently, it sits by my bed, but it’s not ideal. If the underside had been softer, it might also have served as a sleeping pillow.Regarding use, it’s relatively heavy. When you strap your partner in (which looks fantastic with the satin bows), they won’t be going anywhere quickly. We’ve tried a few positions:- Head on the pillow, wrists strapped to the sides- Resting lengthwise on the pillow in doggy style, supporting the whole body- Bum in the air, like a sex wedge- Bum on the pillow with straps around the kneesAll of these worked surprisingly well. Resting on the pillow can help a partner with limited strength maintain doggy-style positions. It compresses a little, but it helps.Legs up with the bows look really sexy, and the slightly elevated position worked well for both of us.It seems to act as a spreader bar since it squashes slightly during intense orgasms, but I would fear the satin straps might come away if used too vigorously.The cover is easily removable for washing, though I’m unsure if it’s waterproof, which would help protect the pillow itself.It would have scored extra points if we could insert toys (makeshift symbian anyone?) or use it comfortably for sleeping.Compared to other items in the range, this feels more like a luxury than a necessity. There are dedicated wedges available at a lower price point that suit most positions better, some even with inserts for toys. This looks sumptuous and would be perfect for a sex room or B&B.
