We received this Fifty Shades of Grey Play Nice Satin & Lace Blindfold as a tester item. We are into mild bondage and already have a basic blindfold but this one is in a different class.The packaging, as with all the Fifty Shades range, is classy and attractive in it’s essentially black livery. The blindfold itself is similarly a very classy looking and well made item. The front is in silver satin with a black lace trim and the back is in a black velour material. The blindfold is well padded for comfort. It is held in place by two narrow elastic straps.We both tried the blindfold for fit, comfort and appearance. I found it to be comfortable with just enough pressure to keep my eyes closed. My wife was a little less comfortable. She found that the plush padding was pressing against her eyelids a little too firmly and became uncomfortable after a few minutes. Obviously a personal thing.We both felt that a single wide elastic strap would be a better option too as the two narrow straps tend to twist and pull together in use. This makes no difference to the comfort or effectiveness of the blindfold but rather spoils the aesthetic appearance. A minor point really though.

I like this blindfold, the lace pattern across the silk is lovely. The front is silky smooth under the lace and feels nice to the touch. The interior is velvety, which along with the cushioning of the blindfold means it’s fairly comfortable to wear.I find it puts a little pressure on the eyes, but I find this with most blindfolds, and it’s not uncomfortable.In terms of visibility, I found you can see little scraps of light at the bridge of the nose, but otherwise it’s a perfect blackout.The two elastic straps mean it’s easy to secure and stays in place without any pinching, and they’ve got a decent stretch to fit a big head.All in all it’s a nice blindfold, comfy, looks good on, and easy to get in place on yourself or others. If you like the look then go for it!
