Comfy beginners cuffs
When i first saw these wrist cuffs my first thought was – they’re too lightweight, very easy to open and escape and for beginners only. However i liked the thought that they are comfortable, easy to open/close. They are not intimidating and because of black colour they can be used on both sexes. Lovehoney kindly sent me these wrist cuffs to road test in return for a honest review. As always LH took care to post them discreetly packed. Thank you! xx Cuffs themselves comes packed in sealed, clear plastic bag with Bondage Boutique label on it. Inside the plastic wrap they’re clipped together with velcro and with BB tag attached with ball chain. These wrist cuffs comes without instructions, but trust me – they are so easy to use, you really don’t need any. Quality inspection. These wrist cuffs are high quality item. I am not a professional seamstress, but sewing is my hobby and i can honestly say- they are very well sewn with sturdy, heavy duty thread. There is a triple seam in places where clips are attached, so you don’t have to worry that you can rip them off (i tried to pull them really hard intentionally in the name of science and no matter how hard i tried – i couldn’t made any damage) They’re made from good quality materials and doesn’t look cheap. They’re lightly padded from the inside with a fleecy feel material on the outer side. Clasps looks good quality to me. When clasps are clipped together they allow 4.5 inch gap between your wrists providing enough room to wriggle. Cuffs are designed to adjust for up to 9.5 inches across, so if your wrists are bigger, then maybe look for something else. And if your ankles are small enough you could easily use them on your ankles too. In use. They’re very easy to use. Just wrap around your lover wrists, adjust and secure with velcro straps. Make sure they’re not too tight and doesn’t block blood circulation. Then it is up to you – clip them together, attach to harness, spreader bar – wherever your imagination leads you. First we tried them on me. At first my OH put them too tight and they started to feel uncomfortable, so he adjusted them that i can move my wrists easily and it felt a lot better. Velcro straps held the cuffs closed very well and no matter how i tried to wiggle out – i couldn’t escape (well not that i wanted ;)) I pretty much enjoyed the experience. Cuffs were used on him too and he find them comfortable. I love to pair them with blindfold and give him a sensual BJ experience. We both loved the velcro fastening, because it means that we can change positions quickly and release our hands fast- it is very important for me as i suffer from panic attacks. Negatives. Well there are no negatives at all, but if i have to pick something i didn’t liked, then for me it was that they warms up my wrists to the point i cant stand the heat anymore and we have to take them off. I’d like to point out the measurements and they say on the product page: “Each cuff adjusts between 10 inches – 11.5 inches in circumference” and i don’t particularly agree with this. Maybe you can stretch them up to 10″ but it then means there will be a gap between both ends and velcro strap will be touching your skin. If that’s ok with you, then they’ll fit, but then again there will be just 1-1.5″ of velcro left to hold them closed. Overall these are very good quality cuffs, easy to use. Looks and feels durable. Will fit most wrists. AND i highly recommend them to anyone new to bondage.

I will use these again
Well my girlfriend and I had started to experiment a little with restraining each other’s hands. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was full-on bondage but we enjoyed it and wanted to develop that side of our intimacy in a safe, enjoyable way. These wrist cuffs were ideal. The velcro holds the wrist tightly but the cuff itself is soft enough not to mark the skin. The cuffs can then be attached together (or to other things) to hold the hands firmly in place. I would recommend a nice blindfold for a more interesting experience. I would also like to mention that these work very well with the Bondage Boutique Beginners Ankle Cuffs.

Not just for beginners
When it comes to bondage, sometimes it’s most helpful to have a pair of beginners cuffs or restraints, just because in most cases they don’t leave any marks and are perfect if you are really into struggling and long play on week days, if you know what I mean. Good restraints
Good strong set of cuffs I was expecting these to be a bit flimsy and easy to pull apart but they not they do exactly what they designed for, they are easily adjustable with the Velcro straps, I bought these after reading 50 shades and thought they would be a good way of stopping the wife from pushing me away whilst in the height of pleasure. Excellent product for more then reasonable price

Amazing

Not as good as expected
These were much more comfortable than others I’ve tried, but I (19 year old girl) managed to break them twice on my own. The first time (when I was literally just seeing how strong they were) the clips just bent out of shape which I fixed with pliers, and the second time (in actual use) I managed to snap right through one. Great beginners restraints
Got these with LH points, so they were free, which is always a good point! They are easy to put on and a very comfortable method of restraining the wrists. The clips mean you can use them in a variety of ways and we use them with a spreader bar and bondage rope. They can be used in an infinite number of positions so a great asset for those just starting or experimenting with BDSM. The only downside to them we found was that the clips seem a little light weight and flimsy. I’m not certain how long they will last. Heavier duty metal ones would probably have been better. That said, if they do break we’ll simply replace them with metal ones as the actual wrist wraps seem very well made and should last well. Great practical product to spice things up a bit.

Nice cuffs
This is the second pair of soft cuffs I’ve owned, as I lost the first pair a while ago, I thought I might aswell grab these when I saw them, I also bought the ankle cuffs. While I do love metal cuffs, soft cuffs are a slightly more comfortable alternative (and a lot quieter). As the inside is soft and cushioned these don’t cut into your wrists or leave any marks behind, and they’re more adjustable than metal cuffs. The velcro makes them easy to tighten or loosen while holding well during play, and the hooks on them make them more practical than regular cuffs. I’d recommend these to beginners and regular users alike as they are just so comfortable and practical, not to mention easy to store.

No burns whilst you learn
I bought these wrist cuffs and the matching ankle cuffs as replacements for my bed restraint kit. They are well made from neoprene foam and are stitched together in a sturdy manner. The D ring attachment allows them to be used in a wide variety of formations. The lining is velvety and very soft on the skin, which means that they are suitable for long periods of use and will not leave marks on the skin, no matter how much tension is put on them. Great starter cuffs
We bought these as our first foray into bondage. Allows you to be really imaginative since there’s no need to worry about how to tie knots. They’re great to start off with, but not sure how well they’ll fare for too long due to the weak clips. Whilst the description says they’re for wrists, we found that they’re just the right size for ankles too, as long as they’re not much larger than your wrists. They’re extremely comfortable, much better than rope or similar tied around wrists, which means that you can go on playing for longer without worrying about discomfort or lack of bloodflow. We found the clips a bit weak – they’ve not snapped off yet but they have stretched a little under the weight of different knots and positions etc.

Beginners indeed
Me and my partner were very keen to get our hands on these and have some fun, we’ve experimented with bondage a fair bit before but really only with rope and ribbon so we were excited to try something a little more bespoke and robust. The day they arrived we open the box and went straight for it. The cuffs looked very serious in black and seemed of good quality, nice soft lining, hemmed with it aswell for comfort, a tougher material on the main body and metal clips, it all looked solid and a little kinky. They were easy to use in the heat of the moment with Velcro fastenings and the metal d clips and we soon found different ways of anchoring them round the head board and different positions, the Velcro had no problem holding and the cuffs were comfortable and left no marks on my partner. All in all they are a good product and we have had a lot of fun with them and are a staple part of our sex life now, the only issue we had with them was after a few times using them the d clip bent apart and the clips now slide apart leaving them a bit useless really, now my partner is only a small gal and about 5″5 I don’t know if it was how we were using them or if she is just freakishly strong, but I feel the clips could do with being a little more robust and rigid, we still use them but have implemented them on the end of some bondage rope, so still a lot of fun. Overall great for the price and very versatile in the bedroom, brilliant for beginners or a little softer play but I feel if your quite into you bondage and “bedroom time” maybe opting for the next tier up of this type of product would really pay off.

Great to start with
I ordered these cuffs after previously only using fluffy metal ones or a DIY belt or rope combo. They arrived swiftly, as always, in a discrete brown box. I ordered these alongside a ball gag and blindfold, so I couldn’t wait to try them all out! On first feel the cuffs felt soft, and extremely easy to use. Im a larger girl so always worried about whether these kinds of things will fit but I needn’t have worried as the velcro straps are very accommodating. In fact, for those with more dainty wrists I wonder if they may slip out? They are comfortable to wear for long periods, and are easy to remove in a hurry if need be, just a case of undoing the velcro. The clips on both cuffs clip together which is good if you want your hands tied beind your back or in front. They would benefit from a length of chain or some ties on the bed to use as restraints, which I’ve done in the past by attaching two small loops of rope on to the headboard and clipping the cuffs to them. They are versatile and look good when they’re on. Very industrial looking and incredibly secure, no wriggling away!

Great comfortable cuffs, with only one downside
These are decent cuffs, soft, comfortable and yet almost impossible to escape from on your own. My partner likes to struggle and wriggle and they haven’t managed to escape them yet. I’d previously used solid metal cuffs, and faux silk restraint ties. These beat them both for ease of use and comfort. The only downside is the plastic clips, they feel flimsy and there isn’t a lot of play if you want to tie to a bed for example, if you do you often need to use a linking piece of fabric or similar.

Soft but secure
We got this item in a mystery package bundle and are very pleased with them so far. They feel secure enough for beginner bondage and easy enough to get on and off. We have used them alongside a silk rope to attach them easily to the bed posts! I’m sure if you really wanted to get out of them, you could but great for playing around and teasing the other half. Great Restraints for Beginners
The cuffs are covered in soft velvet and foam padding, they clip together easily (though were a bit stiff at first) restraining your partner easily and comfortably. The velcro straps make it easy to get in and for those needing that extra security being velcro they are easy to slip out of. Haven’t gotten to try these with my partner yet, but they’re nice. Probably perfect for a complete BDSM beginner, but I was hoping to have more restricted movement. They’re very easy to rotate your hands in, especially for someone with small wrists like me, and there’s quite a bit of distance between the cuffs when linked up.

Ideal for starting out

I don’t get nearly as much use ot of these as i thought i would, but they are very comfortable and incredibly easy to use. I was surprised how unbreakable the grip of the velcro is unless you pick at it directly. A fun addition to the toy chest for light play. I would only buy these again for use with another restraint system like the under the bed straps or a spreader bar which would make it more difficult to take them off unaided.

Not liking the feeling of being restrained I was a bit uneasy when the wife suggested we try these out, after they turned up in there discreet packaging my waif was very quick to get me into them, Putting them on my wrists the first thing you notice is there softens and comfortable feel which puts you at ease the next thing you note is the feeling of how easy they would be to slip out of if you needed to again which put me at ease. We decided to clip them to the head board of our bed with the simple key clip that come with once my wrist were secure my wife took no time in teasing me. These are ideal for first timers or people who are uneasy with being restrained.

Did the job
These are a good set of handcuffs for somebody starting out in bondage and dont want to dive into metal handcuffs or leather. Theyre a good price and you can figure out what you like and dont like or whether you like being restrained by cuffs at all. I found after i purchased these that i prefer being restrained by someone more substantial in weight and texture but these are good for quick and easy restraining.

Strong cuffs
I have a bad habit of pulling too hard and snapping or breaking cuffs! 😮 However these have lasted well. The material is soft and comfortable to wear. i love this product as does my partner. the are soft and comfortable so are great for extended rough play as they won’t dig into the skin. they can be used loose or tight with still and adequate level of restraint and will fit a large mans wrist. the only issue we have found is if you want to be extra wiggle , it can get difficult to hold the cuffs overall they are a great product for people just exploring their kinkness

These were the first handcuffs me and my gf bought and we love them!They’re super easy to attach, just using the simple Velcro straps, and are just as easy to undo as well.One thing I also really like about them is that you can easily undo them yourself if you ever needed to, just in case!By far the best thing about these handcuffs is that they are SO COMFY. I could wear them for hours without any discomfort which is great.The connectors in the middle are a really good length too, letting us put them round different parts of the bed or other furniture. They also unclip as well so you can attach them to other bondage toys like a hogtie. Comfortable and good for self-bondage play
The material is VERY comfortable. The Velcro straps make these cuffs accessible for self-bondage play. The lobster claw clasps make these very versatile (use them to hook onto stuff other than each other), and again, good for self-bondage if you get creative with zip ties.I have very small wrists, but I was able to achieve a tight fit with these. Exciting product, however quality has been compromised
The soft handcuffs come adequately wrapped. We have only used them a handful of times and you can really achieve the desired restrained effect. I wore the handcuffs which were comfortable and did not dig into wrists when moving around. The clip which holds the two halves together is not the best of build quality, and should it be stressed too much I would imagine it would break with relative ease. In terms of value for money, it is an excellent price despite the compromise in build quality for the clip.

Comfortable and easy to use
My partner and I are new to trying bondage and have had fun experimenting with some new bondage items.We got these as we thought it would be easier to attach my partner to the bed as the velcro on the bed straps was a bit harsh and small.These are great as it’s easy to put them on first and then clip them onto the bed restraints. Me and my partner have struggled with finding cuffs and came across these…theyre great for tamer play but definitely aren’t for rogher stuff as they broke pretty quickly with 1 tug from my partner (our main problem in finding cuffs).Quick release options are a great inclusion, love the short “chain” as It gives more restraint. I have had a few handcuff and restraints but these seem to be best ones yet. They are soft and have a good material. I like the Velcro as you can tighten them easier and also unclip them so you can use on the bed posts and not having to fuss about with undoing and doing them back up again.
