Don't expect too much
I love the look of this product, probably my favourite gag, slowly locking this in place on my girlfriend gives an amazing sensation, to the both of us, she loves the feel in her mouth, however in practical use my partner finds the large strap on the front of the item too big and that even when fastened properly that she has to try and stop it slipping, and as the top of this strap comes up so high, to the nose, it can be a little smothering, (in a bad way.) Don’t be completely put off though we still use this product regularly, just not for any great length of time.

Something to get your teeth into
I have tried ball gags before but always found i could push them out of the way with my tongue. Which is why I thought I would give the dildo gag a try. The buckle at the back was quick and easy for my husband to fasten. The front part that the gag is attached to is a bit big and could do with being a little smaller but it wasn’t really a problem for us. The best part is the insertable dildo which stays firmly in my mouth and is great to bite down onto.

Something different
This is my sub’s favorite gag. Having a dildo-shaped gag in his mouth when I ‘torture’ him adds a lot to the psychological element of the game and it doesn’t give him the ‘funny’ look a ball-gag usually give. Gagging For It
I am fairly new to the world of BDSM but thought I’d jump in at the deep end and was lucky enough to be sent this as a sex toy tester. Right off the bat the gag looks beautiful. The leather is good quality and everything was very neat and tidy; the strap that fastens around the back of your head comes with plenty of holes to get the perfect fit for you. I think the strongest aspect of this gag that singles it out above all others is the psychological element of having a dildo shoved in your mouth. Unlike other ball gags that are designed to just keep you quiet, having a sculpted piece of rubber forced into your mouth automatically makes you feel more submissive. Even though it’s only 2.5 inches long, it has a very strong presence once it’s in there. It’s too big to ball your tongue up behind it at the back of your mouth, so you have to lay your tongue flat underneath it. This positions the head of the dildo against the roof of your mouth so that if, like me, you have quite a strong gag reflex, trying to talk or move it about too much will rub against the back of your throat and trigger it. Which isn’t entirely unpleasant. The dildo is nicely detailed with a head and a sculpted frenulum to rub your tongue against, and it is extremely durable. The rubber isn’t solid, it’s actually somewhat hollow. It is, as my Master described it, “very much like a dog toy”. This makes it absolutely perfect for more painful play sessions as you can really bite down on it to deal with the pain of a good flogging. After I was allowed to take it off, I spent a good while trying to bite through it, but even using the entire strength of my jaw grinding it between my molars I was still unable to puncture the rubber. My only criticism of the gag is that the leather base of it is large and rounded, which doesn’t make for a very pleasing aesthetic. My Master likes me in a ball or o-ring gag because he likes that it forces my mouth into the shape of a cheap sex toy. Wearing this gag though my entire mouth was covered from my chin to my nose so he couldn’t see my lips at all. This also means that the gag can feel very restrictive, as it not only fills up your mouth but also partially covers the nostrils. I personally quite like this added aspect, but others might find it a bit overwhelming. Wearing the gag for longer periods could get a little uncomfortable as it causes you to drool quite a bit and the leather against your skin makes around your lips sweat. It is possible to manoeuvre the dildo to one side of your mouth in front of your teeth to allow you to swallow, but this displeased my Master. The longest I have worn it for so far is about half an hour and I was extremely glad to get it off, so perhaps not ideal for longer sessions of play. All in all though I really am very fond of this gag and will definitely request it for harder sessions because it’s so good for biting down onto.

Love feeling the dildo filling my mouth
I had been considering adding a leather gag to my toy box for awhile and eventually opted for the Bondage Boutique Dildo Mouth Gag as I sometimes enjoy fantasying about sucking a cock whilst playing with my other toys. The gag consists of a small silicone dildo which is moulded to represent the tip and first few centimetres of an erect penis. This is then held in a leather plate which sits over the mouth. The gag is held in place by a fairly thin but seemingly sturdy pair of leather straps with a metal buckle which sits behind the head. Once on, for me at least, the gag looks a little odd as the leather plate sits slightly strangely. Due to the initial stiffness of the leather plate section I get gaps between my checks and the gag. This could be overcome by wearing the gag much tighter but I want to be able to move the dildo in and out of my mouth a little when worn so need a bit of give for this. I am hoping that as with some of my other bondage items that after a few uses the leather will soften and that this will overcome this issue.

Quiet please
We ordered this at the same time as the Fetish Fantasy Extreme Silicone O-Ring Gag, wanting to try variations on our ‘horse bit’ and ‘ball gag’. As always, this arrived promptly and well packaged. Once unwrapped, it did have a slight leather smell which I’m sure many buyers appreciate – personally so long as it doesn’t smell like rubber or plastic, I’m not too fussy! I really couldn’t wait to try it on, so popped upstairs in front of the mirror and tried it. The size is spot on. For a 5ft 10 male the buckles fit perfectly and I was able to find a perfect fit without it being too slack or too tight. This was my first dildo mouth gag and it fitted just right. Personally it would have been a little bit kinkier if it were about half an inch or so longer and wider, just to create a ‘fuller’ experience with a slight tonsil tickle, but regardless it is still lovely. Once we got down to business, I found that I could bite down on this without risk of damaging the Dildo, so it did exactly what we wanted it to. The only downside is that it gets extremely wet during prolonged use, so it needed a thorough wash which entailed using ear buds to thoroughly dry all the nooks and crannies. This is not the sort of product you can quickly wipe down and put back in the cupboard, so be prepared to leave it lying out overnight to dry out. On that basis if there is more than just yourself and your partner in the house, you need to consider this!

This is another great product. It doesn’t look like it’s going to really get in the mouth much, but it’s surprising how filling it is. The strap and construction of the leather seem to be very good, almost a little too solid, a bit of flexibility would mean the panel would form around the face a bit more, but then maybe it will mould that way in time.

Best gag money can buy
I purchased this product because my OH really enjoys being gagged and this particular gag seemed to take his fancy, being that he is largely submissive. My favourite gag so far

Size, shape, and texture are great. In order for it to be snug, you have to REALLY buckle it down, which can leave marks on your cheeks. To avoid the awful rubber taste (it’s hideous) do not use without washing first. I used mint toothpaste, the white kind with baking soda, not gel, and that did the trick.

if you can ignore the taste

I’m a complete gag newbie, but I couldn’t help myself getting this gag. The panel front is more appealing that a traditional ball gag, and the mini dildo is just so *hot*. A little daunting at first, and slightly filling to a mouth unused to gags, months later its so comfortable to wear, especially now that the panel has moulded to the shape of my face. I was worried about aching after extended use, but haven’t had an issue yet, even as someone with a history of TMJ. Just a little bit of a dry mouth afterwards because of the amount of drool, but there’s plenty of space for me to swallow around the dildo.Its the perfect gag if you are so inclined, even for first time gag users, and it really gets me in the right headspace, so much that I almost forget I’m wearing it until I take it off. The holes are plentiful so lots of options for head size and tightness. Straight out of the bag it had a very distinct smell and taste, not too pleasant, so I would definitely recommend washing it a few times before use, but after several months, either the after taste is completely gone, I’m used to it or I’ve trained myself not to notice it. Cleaning it after is fine, but the seal between the dildo and the panel needs a little bit of special attention as drool can usually get stuck there due to how it’s pieced together. I’m also very conscious about taking the effort to make sure that it’s completely dry in between that area. I’d definitely check it out and give it a little bit of time to get use to it.

A great simple gag!
Overall this is a great gag for the bedroom collection. It’s just the right size and fairly comfortable (as comfortable as a gag can be ;)). The only downside if the padding inside feels a little loose and I would have preferred something a little more solid, but overall it’s still a great product.
