Packs a punch
This little beauty arrived descretely packaged as usual. Thanks LH! Inside the shipping packaging the crop itself was sealed in a plastic bag, with a nice Bondage boutique tag on it. The tag had pictures of other delightful bondage boutique products. Unwrapping this from the plastic you immediately notice the quality. I hadn’t expected much from this with it being Faux Leather, but, it really is a very good looking and well made alternative. The handle is plastic with a criss-cross design and the neck of this leading upto the faux leather head is remarkably strong and sturdy. I was expecting it to be much smaller as it states mini crop, it is roughly 50cm long which was plenty. We even managed to use the legnth of this for a spot of caning. I would highly recommend this to beginners and experienced lovers of spanking. It is light enough for the most gentle of spankings and strong enough to withstand the heavy harsh spanks we put it through. It leaves you with a lovely warm sting. Great for spanking bums, boobs and intimate areas. This now has a wonderful place next to the rest of our bondage/role play items.

This is my first crop and boy did I hit the jackpot! I’m more used to paddles and palms for spanking but always wondered what a crop would feel like so I was thrilled to have the chance to road test the Bondage Boutique Intermediate Faux leather Mini crop! It arrived as all bondage boutique items do, in a plain bag with the logo on. In this case it’s entirely suitable as the crop has a wrist loop on which you can also use to hang it up after use so no storage box or bag is necessary. At 18 inches long I think that this is enough length to satisfy the spanker, but still petite enough to store away easily. Its size means that it also fits into one of love honeys regular delivery boxes which is a bonus. As mentioned there is a cord to tie the crop around your wrist so it doesn’t fly off during use, and this doubles as a way of storing your crop. The handle is black plastic, with a criss cross design on which is very visually appealing and comfortable to hold. The “stick” part is covered with a woven fabric meaning it’s soft to touch but also has enough flex to it that you can whip as hard as you like and it shouldn’t snap under the pressure. At the end is the faux leather tip, which is proportionally sized to match the crop and for me it was perfect. Those who prefer pinpoint accuracy might find the tip too large, but for intermediates it is ideal. When you swing this through the air it makes that whooooosh sound. This is great, especially if your partner is blindfolded! Just hearing it and feeling the breeze really excites you and the anticipation of the spank begins to build. After a few uses the tip becomes more flexible and this is great because you can use the crop to tease. If you are blindfolded and restrained, the feel of the tip working its way slowly down your back is sure to excite. You just know that when you stop feeling it against your skin you are about to feel pain! Or pleasure, depends what you like! In terms of pain, a light gentle spanking on my husband was met with a “1”, whilst my strongest effort was an “8 or 9”. With this crop it’s up to you how much pain you inflict! I must admit though when used on me I did find it can be quite painful (about a 9) but that pain seems to vanish almost immediately, and it didn’t tend to leave any red marks on me. It packs a definite sting, but nothing so far that meant I struggled to sit down afterwards! Overall I adore this crop! I think the size is spot on for beginners and intermediates. It’s long enough that you look at it and recognise it as a crop, and to be honest when I saw it I was pleasantly surprised as I was expecting a mini crop to be the same size as my small paddle! It’s short enough that you can use it during sex without needing to lean back to allow swinging room. The price is amazing. For such a high quality item I was predicting it to retail at about £20+ (when I received it I had no idea of its value) so if I didn’t already own it I would definitely be purchasing this right now. A new experience
We were lucky enough to be asked to test this crop in return for an honest review. Thanks LH! Now, this certainly isn’t our first crop. However, it is our first one of this shorter length as we’ve always had the full length versions. One thing we love about Bondage Boutique items is how simply they are packaged. They always arrive in a clear bag with the BB logo on it. There aren’t any vulgar pictures strewn across the front, so you can see exactly what you’ve bought as soon as you open the package. Our first impression was that this crop is quite unique. There are nice little details which set it apart from the rest. The first of which is the handle – it’s a matte black finish with a glossy criss-cross pattern on it. Also, the shaft is covered in a material which resembles bungee cord. We’d never seen either of these on a crop before, and they certainly made it feel more special than the usual plastic, wood or metal which we’ve used before. The faux leather head is also well-made and the stitching is neat, which just adds to the overall feel of the product. Another great feature is the wrist loop which is attached to the bottom of the handle. We love the fact that this it’s larger than usual on this crop, as I sometimes have trouble with fitting my hand through other loops. The loop is also handy for storing the crop on the back of your door, for easy access punishment! It was when using the crop that I realised the true advantage of it being shorter – accuracy. Now, I’m no beginner with using a crop at all, but it was so easy to hit the right mark every single time. It allowed me to stand closer to my submissive too, allowing me to touch and tease her with my other hand more easily whilst punishing at the same time. I’ve always loved the whooshing noise that comes from a longer instrument, but this crop delivers very similar results which made me very happy! As you swing, you can really hear it cutting the air and my submissive certainly tenses every time she hears it. Love a good crop
Really enjoy using this crop, the handle has a good grip, the shaft is firm without being overly rigid so I haven’t snapped it yet. The padded side is great for ‘warming up’ before turning it over for a more intense spank. The mini crop was a very good buy for such a cheap price. The product is flexible but sturdy and provides a good punishment. The mini handle allows for easy spanking during intercourse or a simple spanking, the handle has a soft grip and is comfortable to hold. It can deliver a soft or hard smack which makes a satisfying noise either way. The crop can easily be hidden in the back of a drawer as it is small enough to fit. Whilst the crop is soft on face of the leather strip the edges of the crop are a bit rough and scrape the skin so I wouldn’t recommend it being used to drag up and down the skin. To fix this problem my partner and I use a flogger instead which pairs really well with the crop. My partner and I love this mini crop and is perfect for bondage beginners. This has spiced up things in the bedroom and is brilliant for the cold nights as the spanking really gets the blood flowing.

We recently tried the Bondage Boutique Mini Crop and it is a fantastic product. The Crop is long enough to enjoy light play and small enough that you can hide it in a closet or bedside table!
