Luxury you can feel (and occasionally see!)
As a longtime user of all things kinky I have been desperately trying to update my blindfold but have been put off by the overwhelming selection of leather. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing sexier than the feel of it, I just can’t justify using animal products for the sake of my sex toy collection and wardrobe. When this came up, I knew I had to give it a test run and believe me when I say, I was not disappointed!Now, just for full disclosure, I am a dominant woman so I personally have and will continue to use these products on other people rather than wear them long term myself. However, I always try everything before I put it into use with a partner so I can a) know what they will be experiencing as best I can and the quality of the product and b) so I can make the right decisions with whatever it is I’m using.To begin, straight away you can feel the quality material. The inside is luxuriously soft against the skin and the faux leather is pretty realistic. In fact, I’d go far enough to say that it is hard to tell the difference unless you are a leather expert. Obviously, you don’t get the smell of leather which may be a plus or minus to you depending on your preferences. Additionally, the buckle is aged brass looking and very sturdy. I doubt you’ll be able to get out of it easily once secured unless you really want to.The fit for me was good and the mask was easy to put on myself and onto a partner. I would say that it was more of a struggle getting it onto a male partner and I had to use the second to last hole to accommodate my thick hair. If your head is on the larger size you may struggle a bit. It is comfortable while it is on for short periods, though I found for extended use it did dig into my partner’s nose a little bit. This wasn’t massively painful, just a little uncomfortable after a while.As for light blocking, I’ve had worse and I’ve had better. There was definitely a little bit of light left but almost impossible to make out details around you. If you want full sensory deprivation though, this will be hit or miss depending on how well it fits your face and head. All in all, I’m very happy with this mask and love that I can use it guilt free! It does the job and feels great on. It comes with a lovely storage bag and is just an all round luxury experience. Would definitely recommend!
