Great interactive toy
We were selected to review a pre sale version of the We Vibe Rave 2.I was very excited to be selected as its predecessor won numerous awards for being the best G spot vibe around.With my wife never owning the original, all our excitement came from many posts we see on the Lovehoney Forum. We had some technical issues with the App but the team sorted that very quickly as this wasn’t on the market, so the app couldn’t link, but once all sorted we were up and running.One thing that has to be mentioned is when you open the box and take the We vibe box out, I can’t believe how much information is to be found on and around the box. If this was on a shelf, it would make it very easy for me to buy this for my wife as I am now fully prepared to know what the capabilities are of this twisted delight.It’s great colours, essential info and teases with such modern technology.Once taken out of the box and put on charge, you notice that designers have gone into every little detail with this toy.I am loving the USB chargers as they can be taken all over the world for easy charging and no longer means wasted batteries.The twisted purple stem is so ergonomically designed. Like I mentioned, we never owned the Rave 1, but have owned many G spot toys of all value and this feels like a premium toy on the aesthetics and feel alone.It’s designed for women but as a man, I do appreciate well made items of any nature and the adjustable fit is a very good design feature.Nearly all the toys in my wife’s top 10, are fitted with dual motors and this is no different.When toys talk about power or ability to move in many ways, this one is not giving false promises.It also feels so smooth and gentle that it all builds a big picture that the toy is at the higher end of the price market.Now my wife isn’t the most G spot seeking toy enthusiast and prefers more of a clit stimulating toy, so most of my money in this category has gone out of the window, but…….We have a winner.The ability to tailor her pleasure with different intensities and patterns won her over. Now I know most toys do have this ability but not like this.The speeds are bigger step intervals, and the patterns are actually different where as most feel like 10 functions just ever so slightly different.This is how you can treat your special spot.Now here is an amazing feature- the ability to share this experience with a partner. Too many times, I feel like an unwanted guest or can’t tamper with buttons as I ruin the rhythm. The app for the phone/ IPad is very easy to use and has some great features meaning I can help her reach orgasms without stopping to look at buttons or hold it away from her.In actual fact, I don’t even have to be in the room…. I don’t even have to be in the house. This is brand new technology to us as a couple but not toy goers.It’s mind blowing technology that actually works.My favourite is to custom the 2nd screen with 4 different patterns then I control the intensity and migration of the vibes, while my wife lays back and enjoys the moment.This alone has made me feel part of my wife’s enjoyment, and not like an awkward viewer. We-Vibe are one of my most tried and trusted sex toy brands and I was delighted to hear they have revisited their G-spot vibrator (the Rave) and produced an updated, posable and optionally app-controlled version, the Rave 2.Firstly the packaging is the usual sturdy and luxurious standard I’ve come to expect of the brand with an added bonus – very little plastic. They have also finally done away with the white polyester storage pouches that I have amassed a large collection of over the years and instead introduced a cotton one which is a natural colour with some subtle We-Vibe branding. Along with this you also get a magnetic USB charger which reliably connects to the toy, and a couple of instruction and safety manuals.The Rave 2 feels extremely well made. The silicone is smooth with very little drag which is not noticeable at all with a little bit of water-based lube. The buttons are sensibly placed, slightly raised/textured and click when pushed. The bending mechanism that allows you to customise the angle so as to best hit the G-spot is midway down the shaft and feels sturdy; the motion is smooth and there are no creaks or crunches that I have heard with similar posable vibrators.The shape of the Rave 2 is unusual. It is hard to explain further than that it is not symmetrical. The “bulb” that you find in G-spot specific vibes are usually front and centre, but with the Rave 2 this part appears “twisted” to one side which is novel.The Rave 2 has a very simple 5 button interface. A + and – to adjust the intensity of the vibrations; two arrows to cycle back and forth through the pattern settings and a ~ which switches which motor is on. It has two motors which can be operated separately. They are both wonderfully rumbly though to me one seems slightly weaker and the other more “thuddy”. You can choose to use just one or the other, but I always use both! Additionally, the Rave 2 can also be controlled via We-Vibe’s app. This is very easy to download from the App Store (I have used it on my iPhone and iPad with no problems when connected via Bluetooth).Connecting the Rave 2 (and any other compatible We-Vibe toy) is very simple as the app is ridiculously user friendly. Once you have selected your toy from their list of products, the app instructs you to hold down the ~ button until the toy vibrates twice to enter pairing mode (to disconnect you do the same thing). From there you can customise pretty much everything, from patterns to the maximum intensity of vibrations. It also shows the battery percentage which I find really helpful. There is the “single vibe” where both motors running at the same intensity and pattern, or the “multi vibe” option which lets you pick 4 options from the 10 available patterns and switch between them and adjust intensity just by swiping the screen of your device. “Touch mode”, which allows you to adjust the intensity of the toy by rubbing the screen with a finger, was a bit lacklustre and not a feature I will use again.More options on the app include making a “playlist” of different vibration patterns and intensities (not one I use); “ambient mode” where the toy vibrates along to ambient noise detected by your device’s microphone, which could include a partner’s voice, where there are separate options (treble, bass and midrange) for each motor; and “beat mode” where to toy vibrates along to music on your device, again with the different options for each motor (this was my favourite one).The We-Vibe app also supports long distance play where a partner can control your toy from there phone via an internet connection to your phone which must be in Bluetooth range of the toy. There is also the option for end to end encrypted messaging through the app. While testing, we couldn’t get our devices to “talk” to each other, so unfortunately I cannot comment on the reliability of this feature.While the app has all these bell and whistles, the Rave 2 is also just a really fantastic vibrator in its own right. The dual motors are powerful, rumbly and fairly quiet. It works well internally (my preference in this instance) and externally for clitoral stimulation. The twisted shaft makes it a little different to other toys with the same features. All in all, yet another solid We-Vibe product.

great addition to my collection
This is now my 4th we vibe toy and i love them, the app still has its issues but has improved a lot with recent updates, This is a powerful but not too noisy toy,While i miss the clit stimulation i get with my nova, it gives me a more intense internal feel, The twist rather than a thrust motion works really well and takes less effort slight moments are enough, while it might not look it, it is quite a big toy and a little tight, even when excited, which to me is not a bad thing lol i have been using the partner play with the app and its incredible, letting someone else loose with your pleasure (they have a Vector so we are both happy) over all im very happy with addition to my collection, i just maybe need to add clit stimulation but in all honestly that might be a bit too intense lol

Just Gorgeous
I’m a long time user of the we-vibe brand and I always feel like I’m unboxing a treat whenever I get a new one. They rarely let me down, and this one absolutely did not. It always feels like a luxury, you get an instant feeling of class opening it. It makes you want to get straight to the point, and we did just that.This thing packs a punch. It did exactly what was required of it. I’m always chasing high power in toys and this thing is *strong* and in the best way. With the shape, it really does feel like it just hits the perfect spots. Even the lowest setting is good enough to get some really intense foreplay and teasing in. The app is seamless to use, I never had connectivity issues with the signal dropping or being slow to react to touch. There’s a deeply satisfying girth to it, a lot of vibrators feel a little too small to really hit the way it needs to. The shape and build of it makes it remarkably easy to clean and the box is ripe for snug storage without being awkward. I can’t find a fault in it (which is rare for me!)
