I bought this to help ease in a wopping 8″ around vibrating dildo with suction cup…(which I’m reviewing next!) We applied this all over the dildo and all over me and gave the giant dildo ago.. and to my suprise it really did help it glide in. The lube was very slippery and lasted quite awhile befroe we had to add a bit of water to it, It came in at a great price for the amount you get and is in a easy to use bottle. I am a sensetive skin person and some lubes really cause me problems , this one did not cause any irritation. I will be useing this again and again 😛

A really good lube that is one of the best we have tried. Slippery but not removing all feel, just as we like it. It is not the lube for large dilations in our opinion, get the Lubrifist for that use instead. Also, and most important, it has done away with wifey’s recurring yeast infections and the irritation on my penis head that i sometimes got from other lubes. The glycerine or the parabenes in other lubes might well be responsible for our troubles. But we sure aren’t going back to test that. Have fun all Basil 🙂

A very easy to use bottle. The lube is perfect, quite runny but very slippery without feeling oily and with a nice feel to it. We have used it as an anal and vaginal lube and also as a gel when I shave K’s bits. Perfect. The other bonus is that it seemed tasteless to me, which means we don’t have to worry about rinsing between toys and oral, now that’s a real bonus. The wife and I have been using ID Glide and we bought this after we saw it advertised on Lovehoney.com We tried it at the weekend and found it to be verrrrrry slippery. The packaging is discreet and unoffensive, and the bottle is a good size and shape; it doesnt slip to much when your hands are covered in the lube and you want more. H2O has no smell and is tasteless making it ideal if you have oral after application. Like all water based lubes, H2O does dry out after a while, but lasts longer than most and is easily reactivated with a bit of water or saliva. We had no problems using the lube in any sexual context and is a great accompliment to your toys, both his and hers. A very nice lube

I bought this because I needed a water based lube to use with a silicone toy. So I read the earlier review and I thought I’d give it a go. It is very slippery for a water-based lube, but I found that I still needed to use a decent amount. The great thing is that it lasts quite a long time without the need to reapply. So while I am still trying out a few different lubes, this one is pretty good so far. The verdict? Sliquid H20 Original is a very good water-based lube, and is worth a try.

I bought this after realising I’m allergic to glycerin. Now I’m sure we’ve all had those times after a marathon session where everything stings a little bit. Yep? Well I did and just assumed it was the results of good, dirty fun. But after mining the fab advice from other OA members a little lightbulb came on above my head and shouted “it’s the glycerin!”. Putting a few things together in my head I realised that my sore bits usually came after sessions using lots of lube. Checked the lube, yes indeed all six(!!) that I have contain nasty things like glycering and parabens. So, my search began and ended with lovely lovely Sliquid H20. I’m loving the kitsch packaging, nice chunky bottle which can be opened one-handed, always a good thing. It smells of absolutely nothing which in my opinion is good, I’ve also been inspired by LH’s Carly and tasted it and it doesn’t taste of anything either so it’s good for oral too. The best thing about this is the feel. It’s almost identical to natural lube ( I have an aversion to the word “juices” sorry!). I hardly noticed it being there apart from it being a little cold to start with which is fleeting. Lovely and slippy (and stays slippy), did exactly what it should and best of all, no itches, no sore bits. Hoorah!!!

I wanted a lube that was vegan, OK to use for those of us with sensitive ladybits, and water-based. This had good reviews, so I went for it, and haven’t been disappointed. A relatively small amount goes quite a long way – it is very pleasantly slippery and stays so for some time. I’ve not had trouble with it drying out too soon; when it does, it dries odourlessly (if that’s a word) and doesn’t feel sticky. Water or saliva will rehydrate it and make it lubey again if it dries out. I would really recommend this lube – it is odourless and tasteless, it has a consistency similar to that of your natural lubrication, it isn’t unpleasantly sticky, and basically it will enhance your sex or sex toy experience without being at all distracting. I haven’t had any irritation from it at all, it’s very gentle.

In the past (not that long, am only just in 20s!) I have always used KY jelly with my girlfriend, but have always found it a bit thick and tacky after a time. We recently bought some Sliquid Sassy for anal sex and found it to be excellent, thick with plenty of staying power, so decided to try this as a vaginal lube (and also for use with various toys). We were both really impressed. Price is fair, the bottle looks ok, but of course the important point is how it performs. We chose this lube as I have very sensitive skin which reacts to anything containing chemicals or additives. We thought this seemed relatively pure and hypoallergenic. Also it’s a big bottle for a decent price. On the plus side, my skin didn’t react badly to it, which is great. In fact it’s quite soothing. However, it dries out pretty quickly which means frequent re-application which breaks the mood if you know what I mean 😉 It says on the bottle that you can reactivate it by applying water, but we didn’t have a water spray to hand at the time *g*. Maybe I should get me one of those for next time?

Packaging: handy bottle, ok design (didn’t love it but didn’t buy it for that). I guess I would call it somewhat discreet, but since I’ve no kids and no nosy people come into my bedroom, I don’t mind if it’s left out anywhere in there. The information on both sides of the bottle is all you need. I liked that part: “Formulated to last longer than most Hollywood marriages.” Not true though. The texture: not too runny and not too thick, the thickness is just right, slippery enough but dries a little too quickly, without being tacky or sticky and has no taste or smell. I felt no irritation whatsoever, it feels just like water, only thicker! Ingredients: I love the fact that it has no glycerin and no parabens. Read a little bit about the ingredients such as plant cellulose, polyquat 007 & DMDM hydantoin and they’re all pretty safe 🙂 BUT: Considering the ingredients, I really believe this shouldn’t cost more than £9 (and maybe I’m being a little generous there). This bottle contains 255 ml, which seems like a substantial amount but I needed a lot of reapplication so I’m sure we’ll be needing more of it soon. Re-activation with water is a no no for us, just makes it thinner and it’s not slippery enough anymore. Of course I’ll buy this again, it’s a very good alternative to the excellent Liquid Silk but without all the chemicals & silicone. Wish it lasted more though.

There is more lube than it looks!! I was unsure when ordering because it looked small in the picture (please LH compare it to a 1p coin next to it gives better proportion…) but it’s lots. Sliquid H2O is an excellent choice for people like me, who only occasionally need something extra and have toys made from a variety of materials. The bottle is easy to use, regardless of how much lube you would like to get out. It can also convenient that the bottle can be used both when held upside down or on its side. The lube itself is water based, which means that there are no restrictions on where or when you can use it. The feel is smooth and it can easily be re-activated with the addition of some water. Usually, I can get away with using only a drop or two, so the bottle lasts for a long time. This means that in practice, this ends up being one of the cheaper lubes I have tried. Another point going for this lube is that it is very neutral and doesn’t intrude: it has absolutely no smell, nor taste to the point where it is difficult to tell that it is there at all! If the Sliquid Original is too liquid, then the Sliquid Sassy is a great alternative for something slightly thicker.

This is my latest purchase of lubricant. First impressions are good and the bottle has an efficient dispensing top which is very easy to use. For this review, I thought it might be an idea to record my review while I am actually using the product. So, applying a small amount of the lube to the head of my penis and gradually covering its entire length it seems that the lubricant will go a long way without drying out too quickly. Applying a little more lube demonstrates its very slippery qualities and masturbating just with my hand it feels just about right. There is no sense that the lube is about to dry out or that there is excessive friction. After quite a number of strokes, it does feel that more lube may be needed although since this is a water-based lube I am just applying a little added water. That’s better. As with most water-based lubes, sometimes it is not necessary to use up more of the lubricant but simply add a tiny amount of water and this rejuvenates it. After about two or three minutes it does feel that the lubricant is starting to dry out again and I’m just applying a bit more and now I’m able to bring myself to orgasm without the need for any more lube and finally ejaculation. That felt really great! After giving myself a few moments to recover, I am now going to try it using a masturbation sleeve. Again as this is a water-based lubricant is perfectly safe to use with any sex toys without any fear of them being damaged. I’m just applying a little bit of the lube to the entrance of the canal on my head honcho and also applying some of the lubricant directly to my penis. The lubricant certainly eases the entry into the toy and I can now move the sleeve up and down the entire length of my penis without any sense of undue friction. Again, it has taken a few minutes before I am feeling the need to apply either a little water or a little bit more lube. Having just added some water, once again the lubricant seems to have rejuvenated and I can continue using the sleeve and am now accelerating the movement and the lubricant seems to be working well. Once again, I’m having no problem reaching climax without the need to add any further lubricant and again have used relatively little lube before coming again. I am sure that this lubricant will give others similar results when used with or without toys. I would most definitely recommend this lubricant as it seems to last a long time without drying out too quickly and it seems reasonably priced for the quantity.

We’re a young bisexual couple in our 20’s, here are both sides of the story with Sliquid H2O: Alex says: My own use of this lube extends only as far as vaginal intercourse. I find for anal sex with Lucy and penetration of myself with toys, something with a thicker consistency (a) stays in place better and (b) provides more “padding”. This lube is very slippery, and, as it uses a cellulose derivative rather than the more usual glycerine as a thickener, is completely non-sticky. I know some people have written about this drying out more quickly than other water-based lubricants, but in my experience this isn’t the case. Furthermore, if after a long session this does start drying out, it is very easily rehydrated with a “glob” (the technically recognised term) of saliva. All I really need say in conclusion is that Sliquid is the only lube I have experienced that doesn’t ruin my post-coital bliss by immediately driving me to the shower or sink in an effort to remove a sticky mess. Lucy says: Oh where would I be without you, you glorious little bottle of slippiness! As Alex has said, this is our number one lube for any vaginal play – be it sex or toys, and I can’t sing its praises highly enough! I’ll try not to repeat Alex’s comments too much as I full-heartedly agree with everything he has said. There are a couple of little nuggets of information I’d like to add. Firstly, packaging – you can see that it’s very sleek and stylish, adding a feel of luxury to the product. The bottle clicks open at the top, this mechanism is quite secure and we’ve never had any problems with lube leaking out whilst in storage. One issue we do have with it though is that the plastic is quite firm, so when you’re running low it gets more difficult to get the lube out. This is easily rectified by storing it upside down when close to the bottom as it will sit on its lid quite nicely – but maybe not an option if you’re keeping it in a smaller drawer. Secondly, cost. It’s not the cheapest lube around but it is definitely value for money. A little goes a long way, we tend to find one of the large bottles lasts us about 4-6 months. It also comes in a smaller bottle which is perfect for taking on holiday with you. Furthermore it is completely odourless, tasteless, colourless and non-sticky. This is because it’s glycerine and paraben free – which of course brings added health benefits, making it safe to use and much less likely to give you thrush. It’s also worth mentioning that it has never stained any of our clothing or bedding. What I really love about Sliquid H2O is that it just seems to enhance your natural juices. You don’t feel like you’re using a lubricant, you just feel wonderfully wet!

One of my New Years’ resolutions for 2012 was to try switching to a vegan diet, so naturally I was interested in trying out a vegan lube when I noticed that Lovehoney have the Sliquid range in stock. What appeals to me about this particular brand is that their products are not only vegan, but are also hypoallergenic; unlike glycerin-based lubes or brands containing lots of chemicals, Sliquid doesn’t irritate my skin or make me prone to infections. I highly recommend this for people with sensitive skin, allergies, or other medical issues – they should be stocking it in GUM clinics! At first glance this might seem a bit pricey compared to other products, but a little really does go such a long way; even with regular use, I’m barely a third of the way through the 255ml bottle I bought in January. Sliquid also make 125ml bottles, and if you’d prefer to try out the range before buying a larger bottle, they include a couple of sachets of H20 in their sample selection, Sliquid H20 is a bit runny compared to other types of lube, such as KY Jelly, but you’ll only need to use a little at a time – a pea-sized amount is usually more than enough. It lasts for a reasonable amount of time, and can be “reactivated” with a little water or saliva so you don’t necessarily have to re-apply every time it starts running out. A flavoured lube might be preferable for oral, and you might want to use a silicone lube instead for anal, but this is a great multi-purpose sort of lube to have in your bedside drawer. It’s clear, completely scent-free with no nasty chemical taste, and won’t leave any stains or residue on your skin and clothes – not even on dark fabrics. Because it’s water-based, it’s safe to use with all sorts of toys, and won’t damage things like condoms or dental dams. Best of all, it won’t leave you feeling sticky, no matter how much you use. And for bonus green points, the bottle can be recycled 🙂 My only criticism is that the Sliquid branding is very feminine, which some may find offputting, though it’s worth noting that they also have a range of products designed to appeal more to men. Couldn’t tell you if there’s any major difference between them besides the packaging, though – they’re on my list of things to try out sometime. Although I’m still interested in trying out other vegan and hypoallergenic products besides Sliquid, I can’t imagine myself ever going back to using glycerin-based lubes after using this – consider me converted 🙂

Dries up very quickly…which is probably the manufacturers intention…as you keep having to pile it on. Would advise trying another product with guaranteed stay wet time. you could easily water this down with bottled water (to be safe) to make it go a little further and stop it drying up so quickly.

For the longest time, I thought lube was lube was lube, until I started experiencing vaginal irritation from high-street brands. A little research prompted me to try Sliquid, a more ‘natural’ lube. Obviously no synthetic lube can be chemical-free, but the fact that Sliquid is free from parabens and glycerine, as well as being vegan friendly, seemed to indicate that this company cares about what goes inside my body. I fully expected to be able to use Sliquid without irritation, and I could! But what pleasantly took me by surprise was its superior texture, how long it lasted, and its totally neutral smell and taste. Yes, Sliquid is more expensive than generic lube, but you definitely get what you pay for. This feels like my own natural lubrication, it doesn’t have a noticeable odour or taste, and it doesn’t cause irritation. It’s a win in my book! One small issue is the packaging — from experience, I foresee having problems getting the last of the lube out of the bottle given the opening on top. Just a small niggle with an otherwise excellent product.

I brought this because I really liked that is was paraben free, and seemed to be made by a nice ethical company that would put a lot of time and effort into producing a product that would give you nothing but pleasure. Oh wow! So I had heard a lot from other people about Sliquid, and the apparent “miracle” lube. Upon browsing Lovehoney, and finding it was highly rated HERE too? Well, then, I just had to try it! The boyfriend and I had been searching for a new lube after we’d left our only non-flavoured one at his mother’s house after travelling to visitin once (lucky, she thinks it’s some kind of lotion…or maybe she’s just being nice). All our other lubes left me – and sometimes even him! – irritated, burning and sticky as hell. We wanted something non-flavoured, non-scented, that wouldn’t leave us put off sex for days while we recovered! Sliquid was an obvious choice given that it’s such a natural lube – almost guaranteed we wouldn’t react! The first thing we noticed upon arrival is the subtle packaging, as well as the bottle not being the conventional lube pump bottle – so it goes unnoticed if we accidentally leave it on our nightstand! The lube itself? It took us a few days before we used it (using the uh, natural alternative in the mean time!), but when we did…oh my! You only need a really pea-sized amount, for great coverage. It was slick, and felt like my own natural lubrication – but in massive amounts! It felt silky, and left me without any irritation or burning sensation. Unlike some reviewers, we didn’t find it drying out at all, and instead kept going for the whole session – and every session we’ve tried it with since! Awesome. I haven’t tried a huge range of lubes, because I was lucky enough to come across Sliquid H2O after trying only one other product, and I don’t think I’ll ever need to try any others! I began to feel the need to use lube lately after a new medication started to dry things up a little, although now I can see that lube will always make things more fun even if the natural juices are flowing freely. Having suffrered fairly often from problems like thrush I am quite cautious about what I use in that area, and after an initial unsatisfactory attempt with a different brand, I decided to give Sliquid a try due the numerous mentions of it’s good quality on the message boards. Sliquid H2O in particular appealed to me because of the lack of glycerin, which can cause thrush, and also because it is unscented and vegan. I tend to prefer unscented products, as I have found that I can get sensitivity reactions, and although I am not actually vegan I am vegetarian and try to stick to animal-friendly products as much as possible. When I received my new lube, I was very pleased with my purchase. The bottle is a simple squeezy design, but the graphics on the sticker are very pretty and feminine stylised flower pattern which immediately appealed to my girly side. The size of the bottle is great too, easy to store even with limited space, but enough that it has lasted me a pretty long time. In use I find Sliquid H2O to be a fantastic texture, lovely and smooth and slippery, with no stickyness to be found. There is no off-putting or over-powering perfume, which may not be a plus to some people but it definitely is for me. A little bit of this stuff goes a long way because it is quite a thin almost watery texture, however I think this would make it not as suitable for things like anal sex, for which I would certainly prefer something with a thicker texture. I think this is a great general-purpose lubricant, suitable for most kinds of play, and for everyone including those like me who struggle a bit with sensitivities to various ingredients.

With the OH having some sensitivity issues with burning and stinging this lube seemed a natural choice.We usually bought our lubes from the supermarket hence the choice is restricted .Although we were unsure what was causing her problem we have had no such trouble with this lube.The lube itself is as you would expect, silky smooth, long lasting and not sticky as some lubes tend to be. As always this arrived packaged very discretely – thanks LH! This is a ‘water-based’ lube – so can be used with any toy and washes off very easily. This is my ‘go to’ lube that I use the most. The texture is really lovely – not too runny and not too thick – it’s just right. Another plus is that it completely clear so will not stain. I have quite sensitive skin, so I have to be careful when choosing a lube. This one is really suitable for me as it is ‘paraben free’ and it feels really lovely on the skin. I am amazed at how it stayed so ‘wet’ – this lube lasted really well without getting sticky at all, so you don’t have to keep re-applying it. If eventually it does start to dry out, just reapply a small amount, or you can easily ‘re-activate’ it with water. Overall this is a fantastic lube, which has a lovely natural consistency. It is long lasting, and feels great. I would highly recommend this lube!

It’s water based so it doesn’t last a long time but for a water based lube it lasts as long as you can expect it to, I’ve definitely used worse (uhum, Durex). With 255ml you can afford to keep reapplying it without running out too quickly. It’s a tiny bit more expensive than standard brands such as Liquid Silk and Durex but it’s not so expensive that it’s unaffordable. I like that the packaging allows you to see exactly how much lube is left, with most lubes I have to estimate how much I have left based on the weight of the tube which is an inconvenience. It’s pretty much completely tastless and odorless which is exactly what I want in a lube, I hate that nasty plastic like taste that some lubes have. It’s glycerin and paraben free which tells you that it’s safe to use, especially if you have sensitive skin. I’ll definitely be trying more of Sliquid’s lubes.

I have heard a lot about the Sliquid range, all amazing comments. Personally, I have always purchased Lubricants of a cheaper price range. I couldn’t quite understand what was so amazing about this product, to justify paying a higher price tag than I normal would for a lower quantity. Curiosity got the better of me I guess, as I decided to see what all the fuzz was about. On arrival, I have got to admit the bottle was smaller than what I had in my mind, there was a moment of – I cannot believe I have just paid that price. On use, the first thing I noticed was how little of this you actually need. It really does go along way, meaning this bottle will last a very long time. It is odourless, very kind and gentle to your skin. There is a very smooth/natural feeling to this lubricant. It also it not messy in the slightest which is a must for me. Having tried the Sliquid range and knowing how long the bottle will last, it really does justify the price tag, if not more. I will defiantly be purchasing more from the Sliquid range, as I am very impressed. I didn’t think it was possible for a lubricant to feel this natural and smooth. There is no sticky feeling after. Amazing. If you are like me hesitate and wondering what all the fuzz is about, let your curiosity get the better of you, you really will not regret it.

I decided to try this out after seeing a comic about it on Oh Joy Sex Toy!, where it was recommended as the ultimate lube for people with sensitive skin down below. In the past I’ve tried all sorts of different lubes supposedly free from irritants (Liquid Silk, Moist, and a billion tester sachets) but this is the only one I can use as often as I want. The bottle is stylishly labelled and my only complaint is that I prefer the kind of bottle you push down on to dispense lube (as I’ve seen on other lubes) rather than one you have to physically squirt out, as it can be a pain to push the top open and get just a small amount in the heat of the moment. The lube itself is great; it’s not too sticky (looking at you, Liquid Silk), and it does the job fantastically.I usually use it with toys, especially larger ones. You only need a small amount to get rid of that pesky friction and get down to business! Since it’s water-based it does get absorbed, but it lasts a decent length of time, and leaves none of the irritation or sticky residue some other lubes do – and it is, of course, compatible with silicon sex toys and condoms. I’ll definitely be restocking this when it runs out; it’s one of my toy drawer essentials.

I care so so much about what I put into and onto my body. Lube is not something I’d take my chances at, a bit of it is going to be directly absorbed into one of the most delicate mucus membranes and I’d rather be gentle and kind against my vagina than aggravate and damage it. Most lubes are shit, containing parabens and other nasty ingredients that I wouldn’t even poke a stick at, let alone stick up my hooha! There is a rather big selection of “natural” lubes (= not harmful and not tampered with too much, whether or not it’s organic) but I didn’t want one with aloe vera because I’m highly allergic to it, and that drastically slimmed down my choices. I have ONLY found Sliquid H2O, but boy am I glad there IS a lube out there that I feel safe and comfortable with! It doesn’t matter if it’s organic and blablabla if it contains something that’ll hurt me, so I’m very happy that Sliquid has made one without aloe vera. The texture is great, kinda thick when it hasn’t been smeared out but once you have it’s totally like the real deal, I’m not kidding. I honestly couldn’t tell a difference. The smell is non-existent, at least to me (my sense of smell is strongly limited, I can’t smell roses unless I stick them riiight under my nose). The taste is… Well, I’d describe it as water gel. How does water taste? You cannot describe it. The taste is so faint that it almost just tastes like water in gel form. Oral sex wouldn’t be less pleasant than if you hadn’t applied the lube. A little goes a long way and I just feel deliciously wet (going off the pill has made me temporarily drier because my hormones are a little out of whack atm), it’s amazing. It’s an aid but I don’t feel aided, it just feels like my vagina is matching my head (horny horny horny).

As someone who’s had trouble with lubes containing glycerine and parabens in the past, I’m a big fan of Sliquid and I already have the H20 Organics lube – it’s essentially the ‘upgraded’ version of this one, with added all-natural soothing and conditioning ingredients. It also happens to be my go-to water based lube due to the runny texture and slipperiness, so when I got this as part of an exchange I was interested to see how it compares and if there’s any discernible difference between the two. Sliquid lubes come in nice clicky cap bottles that I really wish more brands would adopt, it cuts down on any mess and if you accidentally knock it over (which I’m prone to doing, oops) you’re not faced with a sudden drippy, slippy tsunami oozing down your bedside table. The bottle for this also seems to be a little bit thinner than the bottles for the Organics line, which are quite stiff, which I imagine would be more useful if you have hand or wrist problems. The labelling isn’t quite as discreet as the Organics line, which looks like a fancy face oil or something, but you could probably still get away with keeping it out. The Organics version is crystal clear and seems to be a little bit runnier than this original version, which is ever-so-slightly thicker and better for using very textured toys with – nodules, swirls, big crazy curls. It soaks in easily and you don’t feel like you’ve just applied something down there, which can be a bit of a turn off. It’s slightly longer lasting, too; the Organics version has a tendency to ‘dry up’ although it can easily be reactivated but this one seems to go that little bit further. I don’t like using water-based lubes for butt stuff but I’d be comfortable using this to insert a plug or something small. Just like the Organics version, this doesn’t taste or smell of anything at all. It tastes like if someone were to make little gel capsules of water, it’s totally inoffensive and I love it for that as the last thing I want to do is lube up and then have oral off the menu for the rest of the night because me or my partner’s bits and pieces taste weirdly chemical. Overall, as much as I hate to admit it, the differences between the two really aren’t that drastic. This version is thicker and longer-lasting, the Organics version is thinner and dries out a little quicker and both of them are brilliantly bland in taste and smell. Unless having added flax and hibiscus extracts is really important to you or you’re specifically looking for a thinner lube, I’d buy this one as it’s slightly cheaper and does pretty much the same thing. I still love you, Sliquid, but this one’s kicked Organics off the top spot for me.

My SO has, in the last few years, suffered with frequent UTI flare-ups. Most doctors haven’t seemed bothered, or at best prescribed antibiotics. One doctor even suggested that SHAVING was causing these constant flare ups and implied that my WIFE was a slut for being bald. (GRR some guys are just idiots!). Anyhow I digress; recently (at a new doctor’s surgery) the lovely doctor suggested that the lubrication could be causing these issues. We had been using basic (read: cheap) lube from the supermarket, and not worried particularly about the contents. We immediately researched and ordered a lube that was free from most artificial components. It was particularly expensive, and difficult to find stockist (Boots had it for a while), had a weird smell and taste and wasn’t entirely clear and came in very small tubes (50ml) – but did seem to solve the problem (over a year now with no flare ups). Naturally, being a little more confident we looked for an easily obtainable alternative. I found Sliquid h20 on LH, and after reading the reviews decided to give it a try. I went for the 125ml version, but noted that the most cost effective way was to order the larger 255ml bottle. The parcel arrived quickly and in LH’s normal discrete packaging. The bottle is pretty basic, but pretty much exactly as expected. (I think the graphics are different on the bottle I have, but I’m now not sure). I do like the snap down lid – this really helps to keep the top clean and muck free (Something that most people don’t realise is that you should clean the top of your lube bottle as frequently as the toys it touches). The liquid is crystal clear and completely tasteless and odourless. Performance wise this doesn’t seem to last as long as the cheap lube with “artificial contents”, but actually when it does dry out it doesn’t turn into a sticky gluey mess. It’s cheap enough that if it does dry out then you just add more on! It does tend to dry out quicker when using condoms (as opposed to not using condoms) but again – JUST ADD MORE! Most importantly, it’s been just over a month and still no flare-ups! If you are having problems, and you think it may be lube related then I can wholly recommend this product.

Having recently become increasingly concerned with the chemicals I am putting on and in my body, I wanted to try a glycerin and paraben free lube and this one had some great reviews. When my bottle of Sliquid arrived I was a little surprised how attractive the bottle looked in its simplicity, not merely functional like many lubes. The click dispenser in the lid is very easy to use, though it can get a little trickier to dispense with already slippery hands. I feel it would benefit from a pump dispenser, but that won’t stop me using it as is. I found this lube to have a very runny, wet texture and was a little worried it would dry out and need constant reapplication, but it stays perfectly slippery for a long while. A little of this lube goes a long way, and has not left me feeling sticky like a lot of water-bases lubricants. There is no real smell or taste to this lube, which is a definite plus for me. The best thing about this lube is that it doesn’t irritate me at all. I always thought that it was inevitable that I would feel a little sore after a second (or third, or fourth!) round of sex, no matter how naturally lubricated I was or how much lube was used. However, with Sliquid there is absolutely no soreness as there is no friction, and no horrible stickiness either. From now on, Sliquid H20 will be go-to water-based lube. Despite being a little pricier than some lubes, Sliquid goes so far and is certainly worth the price.

No matter how young and horny you are, or how wet you get naturally, I just think that sex feels so much better with lube! It’s an essential in my book for both solo fun and play with partners. Unfortunately, most lubricants seem to contain ingredients that irritate me or (worse) leave me a nasty episode of thrush. Nothing kills the mood like thrush! I decided to try sliquid after reading an article that recommended it for those (like me) with a delicate balance of vaginal flora. I haven’t looked back and now always buy this lubricant! Sliquid uses plant cellulose as a thickener, rather than glycerin or other sugar based ingredients (which can cause thrush). It is also free of other irritants like parabens. Since using it I have noticed a big difference in how I feel after sex, it just soaks away with no itching or irritation. It’s also water based so perfectly safe to use with condoms and toys. In terms of performance, it does the job you need it to do. It has quite a wet gooey feel, not thick and sticky like some other lubricants. It feels more natural and less “plasticky” than other lubricants I’ve tried. It possibly lacks the lasting power or other lubricants, but I think that this very slight downside is well worth it. You just need to reapply if you feel like its drying up. I would definitely recommend giving this lube a go, especially if you are having issues with irritation or thrush after sex.

The H20 Original lube really is odourless, tasteless and colourless, and it doesn’t stain bedsheets. I would say that it’s not the best at staying slippery, and so I end up having to use quite a bit & often re-apply, but it doesn’t give me an allergic reaction and is slippery to start with, so I’d still really recommend it if you’ve having trouble with regular, cheaper lube. Tend to get through a 125ml bottle in 3 to 5 months, so not exactly value for money, but it reliably works.

Sliquid’s H2O is a luxurious, and nicely fluid lube. My lovely wife and I always keep a bottle of this and it’s sister product, Sassy to hand. H2O has the most immediate glide and slippiness of these two toy drawer favourites. Warmed up in a bowl of hot water, this feels heavenly to the touch. Please do be aware though; this is quite a runny lube, so be careful where it’s trickling! While Sassy is the thicker formulation, and described as an anal lube, I wouldn’t let that put you off other uses! Sassy appears to be a thicker, more slowly oozing formulation of the same ingredients as H2O, and both are great for a variety of uses. It all comes down to personal preference on consistency, I guess. H2O is for me, a real luxury treat, while my wife prefers Sassy. My personal favourite uses for H2O are when this is applied liberally for straight-up sex, a teasing boob/hand-job treat for me, or manual stimulation (for me or for her). The possibilities are almost endless! Sliquid’s lubes do on occasion have a tendency to go a bit tacky or ‘drag’ if they dry during use, but I’d say this is a natural characteristic, rather than a flaw as such, and is easy to work with. When natural juices get flowing, this lube mixes seamlessly with your own juices. A drop or two of water, can also bring this lube back to full glorious slippiness instantly. As other reviewers have mentioned, this lube has no smell and very little flavour, if any. This makes it great for switching to oral if the mood takes you. All in all this lube, and it’s sister product, Sassy, are top drawer, total favourites.

I really wanted to like this and had great hope in it. Especially in it being natural. I found it to dry up quickly when being used during foreplay. We had to keep reapplying. Finally my husband said to switch to something else. We switched to Slippery Stuff Personal Lubricant Gel and that worked much better.

This product is perfect. Sliquid doesn’t contain glycerin or any ingredients that can mess with your vaginal pH (as far as I know) and it’s amazing. I’m completely converted and I urge anyone with a vulva to use Sliquid products. I’ve had UTI issues with other water-based lube that contain glycerin. Watch out for those!! I now carefully check each ingredient in lube products and make sure it won’t irritate sensitive genitals. On the other hand, I haven’t had any issues with this product and I doubt I will use anything else but this.

At the end of the day Sliquid H2O gets the job done. I use it because it doesn’t cause any irritation or mess with my vagina. As far as I know, it has the shortest ingredient list out there for a water-based lubricant, which is important to me when looking for a product I can use everyday with for solo sex with my vibrator. For partnered sex or sex with a lot of in and out penetration, I do find that it dries up faster than I would like and that reapplication is needed. There are other lubes I prefer in those situations, but they contain Glycerin which becomes an issue for me personally when using regularly, when i’m not planning to shower right afterwards, or when my ph balance is already feeling a bit off. Overall, I highly recommend giving this product a try if you have had issues with other lubes or you are prone to sensitivities.

Glycerin based lubes always burn a little for me for some reason, and they’re not great anyway because they can trigger yeast infections. Plus, I don’t like using silicone lubes because silicone is unnatural and I’m not machinery lol. Sliquid is made of water and cellulose, a natural polymer with lubricant properties, and never lets me down. Also, you can reactivate it with a little water! I have used this lube with insertable toys, during intercourse, and for hand jobs. It has a great silky smooth texture, and I appreciate that it doesn’t contain glycerin (no thank-you, yeast infections!). It works best for intercourse and toys where there is also some natural lubrication, but I find that for hand jobs it dries out relatively quickly and needs to be reapplied at least once or twice. Also be aware that it can be a bit drippy compared to gel-based lubes, but this is common to most liquid lubricants!
