Lacking a pulse
Trying a new Romp is a new brand to me. I often overlooked it because the brand seemed it was marketed towards younger generations. However, I was given the opportunity to test the latest member of the brand, the Romp Pulse, a rechargeable rabbit style vibrator with pleasure air technology. There was much anticipation and excitement: From unboxing the product to seeing its design and the novelty of finding a set of sex positive stickers, I was eager to give the Romp Pulse a thorough testing.I spent some time understanding how the Romp Pulse works. Exploring different settings and reading the user guides, there’s a learning curve that makes the experience more engaging.Trying it for the first time brought a mix of sensations and emotions as I explored how it feels. Did it match my expectations?During use, it was easy to insert with a good amount of waterbased lube. For a rabbit style vibrator, the bulbous tip of the shaft is perfectly angled to hit my Gspot. The shaft boasts the most rumbliest of vibrations in an assortment of 3 speeds, 7 patterns. I always appreciate a rumbly motor, the 1st setting has some amazing deep rumbles, but 2 and 3 are slightly more buzzy but not unpleasant. The patterns make up for settings 2 and 3.As for the clitoral arm, with its 5 suction strengths, I was super stoked for my first experience of pleasure air technology in the style of a traditional rabbit style vibrator because I love blended orgasms. However, I really struggled to adapt the clitoral arm to my body on each occasion that I tried it over a 2 week period. I could position it in the right place, but I couldn’t create a good suction. It feels as though the pulsing is aimed downwards and my labia was getting all the sensations which felt a bit lacking, shall we say. I love the idea of the 3 patterns included, but they’re barely noticeable. When you turn on both the shaft and suction, you may as well forget the clitoral arm altogether. I felt nothing from the suction at all. Nothing. The vibrations just overpower the suction, making the clitoral arm defunct. It just defeats the whole function of the vibrator. After trying the Romp Pulse I reflected on my experiences. There are a lot of positives. I love the quality of the toy. Romp is known for being more budget friendly, but this doesn’t detract from the Romp pulse with its premium silicone, perfectly placed and easy to use buttons, a travel lock and ease of charging and finally, it’s waterproof and submersible!My overall orgasm experience was disappointing. The lack of sensations and power from the suction and the suction being completely cancelled out as soon as the rumbly motor is started. I’ll continue to use the Romp Pulse, mainly for the vibrating shaft, but unfortunately I’ll be missing out on blended orgasms.

Disclaimer: I was sent this product in exchange for my review, though it is the sort of product that I would consider purchasing for myself.My first impression of the ROMP Pulse Rabbit is that it is a strikingly beautiful toy. The silicone has a kind of metallic sheen that changes colour slightly depending on the light to that I hadn’t seen in a sex toy before. It has a very silky finish that somehow barely attracts any lint. On closer inspection, the only thing I dislike about the toy’s looks is that there is text on it, including a fairly large “MADE IN CHINA” by the charging port which is indented into the toy. This cheapens the appearance which is a shame, and means that there are unnecessary crevices to clean after use which some folks may consider to be a hygiene issue.Charging was simple and pretty uneventful. The charger is the style that you have to kind of impale the toy on which can be disconcerting, especially if like me you are more used to magnetic chargers. It’s not really a flaw, probably just a cost saving measure. The Pulse Rabbit has a simple two button interface where one button operates the vibrating shaft and the other controls the air pulse stimulator. You can only cycle through the settings one way – meaning that once you’ve gone past the setting you want, you have to click through the others until you get to it again. I’m really not a fan of toys like this, especially when there are patterns to cycle through, and it is the sort of thing that would make me personally reconsider a purchase.The vibrations in the shaft took me by surprise and are of a really decent strength and frequency. They are not exceptionally rumbly and do get more buzzy on the highest constant vibration setting, but I really enjoy them externally. There are three constant vibration intensities and a handful of patterns, if those are your jam.Speaking of patterns, this is where the toy really falls down for me. The air pulse clitoral stimulator only has two ‘constant’ settings with the rest being patterns, which would be acceptable if you didn’t have to cycle through the patterns to get from the lowest constant setting to the higher one! When it comes to my clit, pattern settings are just incompatible. I find them frustrating and not in a fun way. The nail in the coffin for me is that the ROMP Pulse Rabbit just doesn’t fit my anatomy well enough to be enjoyable. The shaft is too long for where the clitoral stimulator is located, and while they both have some minimal flex for (literal) wiggle room, I just can’t get them to line up comfortably. Worth a Try!
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this but I was honestly really impressed. The clitoral suction feels way better than I thought it would and once you find the right spot it builds up in such a good way. Disappointing
Firstly, the positioning of the clitoral suction part is at a really weird angle. Trying to get it in the right place is tricky. The suction is barely existent, it is more vibration than suction which I found lackluster at the lower setting and overwhelming at the higher setting. The vibration of the dildo was really strong but not for me. It’s a bit noisy too.

Almost got me in trouble
