A pain in the ass!
For a while now I’ve been utilising toys which aren’t really anal toys for the purpose, simply because I couldn’t find any anal toys which appealed to me. So I was happy when this little baby arrived. This is the smaller sized one, designed for anal beginners. Used with lashings of lube, this should be perfect, as it’s tapered at the end which means it won’t get lost. Sadly, the reality isn’t so. The bumps which make it look like a raspberry make the toy very difficult and uncomfortable to insert, even with tons of lube. So although the toy isn’t overly large in girth, once it’s in there, your bum might already be somewhat sore! The vibrating bullet is quite powerful and delivers nice sensations, but because the toy is a nightmare to insert, it’s just uncomfortable and I didn’t get any pleasure from it. A real shame. I think perhaps anal kings and queens might like this, although perhaps the bigger sized one would suit them better? I don’t agree with the statement that this is perfect for beginners – you need something smooth to ease the way – this thing might put people off for life!

I’d been wanting to try the Ass-Berry for quite a while, and now I really wished i’d bought one sooner! Firstly, the packaging is lovely, very funky and fun looking, with the cute little heart at the top from the Ammunition/Rocks-Off logo, and has the slogan “Feeling Fruity?”, which illustrates it’s purpose perfectly 🙂 The Ass-Berry is basically a raspberry shaped sleeve on an Ammunition RO-80mm Bullet Vibe, which is my all-time favourite vibe. This bullet can be removed from the sleeve and used seperately, which in itself, is an absolute delight like no other. Also, it is by far, the most powerful vibe i’ve ever come across, and that alone is worth it’s weight in gold ^_^ The quality of all Rocks-Off products is always apparent, from the packaging, from the design, and from the quality of materials used. So if you’re looking for an amazing quality anal toy, this would definatly be the one for you. My partner was very helpful and very willing to aid my use of the Ass-Berry for the first time, purely for review purposes, obviously! 😉 I’d never previously used a vibrating anal toy before, and was surprised at how great it felt. To start with, just feeling the vibrations, without insertion was a divine feeling alone. And then after a while of teasing, with a little lube, and some gentle easing in, my partner and I decided to try using this toy while making love, and the feeling for both of us was undescribable! For me, the feeling of having both my partner and the Ass-berry was amazing and beyond words and definitly a new experience for me that I am eagarly awaiting to experience again! And for him, feeling the vibrations through the shaft of his penis, while at the same time penetrating me, was something like he’d never felt before. Yeah, butt, no butt...
Well, as a beginner in the area of anal play, this looked like a good place to start! I was rather surprised when my parcel arrived, as I’d seen the usual red card from the postman, and I’d assumed I’d need a trip to the PO in the morning. But, a knock at the door and there stood my elderly neighbour with my package! Good job it was well packaged up! 🙂 Aaaanyway… once I had it, I unwrapped it and struggled for a few minutes to pull the bullet out of the base! I quickly unscrewed the end and took out the card that prevents the battery from draining. Testing the bullet the vibrations felt pretty good! Next step… lube! Once everything was suitably slippery, I started to push it inside. I made sure I took my time and eased it in (I am only a beginner, remember!). The vibrations while I was inserting felt really good, I laid with it in place for a bit while I got used to it a bit more. My only concern is that the base part of it isn’t THAT much bigger than the berry part, and with it tapering out gradually as it does, its a worry that it will push in too deep!

Firstly, thanks to Ruth at LH for sending us this little toy for review – an unexpected and pleasant surprise! Used with care, no doubt a good beginners novelty and the vibrations from the bullet vibe are terrific – butt…. It isn’t an anal toy for those who appreciate half way serious bum fun. Firstly, if you try sitting down the bullet vibe will do its best to push the whole thing inside you (not recommended). Second, when you get used to the Assberry inside you and muscles relax it slips out easily. For all that the intense vibrations hitting the prostate will get most guys ejaculating quickly and profusely when coupled with a knee trembling hand job (Don’t sit down!!) My wife tried it later last Saturday and it only got as far as her clit. Her verdict. ‘Yeah, it’s ok’ Frankly Ruth and LH, her comments about sum up the Assberry for both of us. It’s ok but not a toy I would recommend for anal use because of it’s limitations and because there are cheaper products (ie the Bootie and inflatable plug that are way more effective and cheaper). I bought this because I wanted a vibrating butt plug and since this one is powered by the amazing Ammunition bullet, so I coudn’t lose. The plug is a bit larger than I’m used to, so some beginners may find the girth a little bit large for a first plug, but with a bit of lube and a minute of so of patience it went in just fine. I was worried that the “berry” texture would be uncomfortable, but the silicone moulding is smooth and high quality, so I had no problem. Once I switched the bullet on (easy if you use a thumbnail to push the button), the vibrations were amazingly intense. Used with another Ammunition bullet on my clit, the sensations were just out of this world. My boyfriend approves too – he said it felt like all of me was vibrating! The plug stayed in place through some powerful orgasms, but did need a little push to relocated it a little before walking to the bathroom to take it out and wash it. Not berry good
I bought this toy as my first foray into the world of plugs and overall I think it was a big mistake. First of all, I did not enjoy the berry texture. Even with absolute lashings of lube I didn’t find it comfortable and it made insertion much less enjoyable than it should have been. It felt rough. Secondly, because the difference in size (and distance) between the insertable part and the non-insertable part of the plug is so small, losing the toy inside myself was a real fear. True, maybe part of that was just first time paranoia, but once it was lubed up and I was pressing the button on the bullet in towards myself, it was a feeling I could never quite shake. What I thought before buying was that because it looks nice and small, it would be a great first step. What I think now is that a better option for a first step would have been something a bit more ergonomic. Thin at the tip and gradually increasing in size is a good thing. With this I felt it was practically all or nothing, and that’s just not a good way to practise anal full-stop, let alone start with it. A beginner’s toy should go out of its way to make using it a comfortable experience. I didn’t get that with the Ass Berry.

The first this that struck me about this toy was the packaging. The rocks off box it comes in is possibly one of the prettiest most stylish boxes I’ve seen, sex toy or not. You know you can keep ass berry safe and in style. The product is really easy to use, just unscrew the top of the bullet and pull out the little white bit of paper separating the battery and then re-screw the head. When you press the button on the vibe inside the plug you need to press hard or hold down a little to get it to stay buzzing, but when it gets going, it’s great! Just lube it up and slowly insert, and you can feel the vibes all the way through from the flared base to the tip of the berry. Very strong, and exactly what I was looking for. Ass Berry Bliss
I had always wanted to try anal toys. I have always somewhat enjoyed anal sex, but had never experimented with vibrations. I wanted to get something that wasn’t frightening to look at, but still had a bit of power. The Ass Berry was the perfect fit (literally!). First of all LoveHoney delivered it quickly and discretely. The box and bag it came in were nice, and the toy itself is made of excellent quality. On its own this toy is amazing, the removable bullet provides powerful vibrations throughout the entire toy. I also really enjoy the bullet on its own for clit stimulation. Its like getting two toys for the price of one! There are two downsides with this toy though: the first being that the base is not flared enough. I used this to try DP for the first time, it kept slipping out due to the narrow flare. Fantastic toy for pros and beginners

Good with a fault
I agree with others that the bumpy shape can make it a bit harder to put in place, and I don’t get a benefit from the bumps when there, but I still enjoy it. I like the shortness of it and especially how wide the base is when in place. The vibrations feel good. My complaint is the size of the ball compared to the neck/base. There isn’t much size difference between the two and I’ve found that it will pop out on its own during activities.

The bullet vibrator that comes with it is also pretty decent.However as a butt plug it doesn’t really work because the part that goes inside is so small compared to the neck that it gets pushed out as soon as you relax unless you are physically holding it in with your hand.The small size also means that it’s not really providing much if anything in terms of fullness sensation or P-spot stimulation and so even as a toy for beginners to anal play it doesn’t really do a good job because it’s quite a faff to use without enough of a reward.An improved design with a narrower neck might help the problem with it staying put, but then it would be too thin for the bullet vibrator; however I for one would be really interested in trying a version which was significantly bigger.

Potential but flawed design!
Tried this on my wife after she has expressed interest in dual penetration. Interesting berry like design but I was concerned the second I opened it. No problem with insertion at all. Bit of lube and good to go.Turned on the bullet and off we went. She seemed to enjoy the feeling it gave, BUT it wouldn’t stay in unless it was held. Every time she let go it just popped straight out meaning that our time together was a bit of a faff! It’s the wide neck that I believe is the issue with this toy. I don’t think she will ever keep this in without assistance 😂. Needs a bigger berry part or a slimmer neck, or both!!! Such a shame.
