Very impressive product
this product is awesome. We’ve used it both standing, with the door jam cuffs and laid on the bed (for extra restraint we used the Wrist-to-Thigh cuffs, but attached the wrist part to the sides of the bed) This bar feels incredibly sexy as you literally have no control – it’s impossible to wiggle out of an definitely impossibly to bring your feet closer together. The cuffs are rather soft and comfortable which means longer sessions are not a problem. Definitely recommend this product – it’s very well made and incredibly strong – it is literally a metal bar inside.

Trying something new

Fun and effective

Safe But Sturdy
My partner and I love a bit of bondage play in the bedroom, And have been considering a spreader for some time, but my partner can feel a bit more intimidated by the more serious or clinical looking bondage toys. This bar doesn’t look too intimidating and feels very soft and comfortable around the ankles, yet the bar is incredibly strong, And despite being flat it doesn’t bend under tension. The cuff ring is a real bonus too and opens up a fair few interesting options during use! The width is fine for us as my partner has quite small legs but taller users may not get as much “spread” for want of a better word.

I wasn’t pleased with this item
I’m not a serial complainer but this is one item that I wasn’t happy with. It worked fine for two uses and the the fabric that keeps the metal bar in started to tear. This was not overly heavy use either. The metal bar begun to poke through the fabric and cut into my leg, effectively making it unfit for use anymore.

Perfect Spread
I’m sure most people seen that scene in 50 shades of grey!? We finally decided to get a spreader bar and was not disappointed. The purple colour makes it less intimidating to the less seasoned Bdsm couple, the width is just right. It’s wide enough to keep legs apart and not be able to force your thighs together, it is also not too wide to be uncomfortable however. Excellent strong solid bar
I bought this bar spur of the moment as a surprise, after a lengthy discussion with my partner on wether to use it we gave it a go. Well.. wow. Certainly did the job. It’s a nice material with soft cuffs, it held my partner in the perfect position. This bar is not intimidating and is a great way to start introducing a bit of bondage to the bedroom, that’s what my other half was worried about but has now changed her mind. Perfect bar
Having wanted a spreader bar for a while we went for this simplistic design. What a find this was. Arrived quick as always with lovehoney, opened up and wow. Although its nylon its soft and the cuffs are extremely padded so shouldn’t dig in, there is weight in this due to the metal bar which proves it won’t break easily. Having the purple is also a nice feature so ordered more from this range. Definitely no struggling in this house now. Not sure why some of this range is getting discontinued as its amazing.

We’ve just started getting into bondage and wife hinted at a bar for some time so I bought this as a surprise. Using this mixed with hand restraints, this is brilliant. Best we’ve used so far is wife on her back with hands tied, and this around ankles. I can raise her legs in air and she’s locked in and all mine. 😛 Very comfy, looks great too. Spreader Good - Loop Not So Good
The spreader bar itself is great for the price, certainly does the job. However, I am an untameable wriggler, when I get going, and I managed to break the loop for connecting restraints on our first use. Oops. We still use it without and now just attach something else to the bar before attaching to my wrists and it does the trick. But if you or your partner are a wriggler, you might need something more heavy duty!

Amazing starter bar

Brilliant, Fun and Great for the Money
A great bit of fun and very practical. The metal bar is covered in red webbing with nice stitching and I don’t see any chance of it coming out. It is a strong and heavy bar that is never going to bend. the added ring for the wrist restraints is great and it also doubles up really well to hold the legs in the air or tie them down. It serves a double function by not allowing the legs to close or indeed to open or move at all and it feels great whilst being very erotic. Works excellently for my wife both on her back and on her knees to give unrestricted access to pleasure and tease. . The cuffs are lined with a soft velvet and a foam cushioning and the straps are fairly long. I can see no problems fitting it regardless of size as there is ample room for adjustment. The only criticism is the red webbing material is fairly industrial and not particularly soft to the tough but hey most like it that way! And the foam cushion that lines the cuffs sticks out by a few millimetres meaning i can see it being hard to clean and easy to fray / wear in the future. It would be a massive improvement just to cover the edges of the cuffs but for the price you cant really complain, its a great bit of fun but if your expecting heavy usage often then it is going to suffer some wear and tear.

Good for beginners
I got this in the sale and I have never used one but always wanted to try. Its definitely great for people new to BDSM to see if they like it, but I found it didn’t do exactly what I wanted as i can still close my thighs together. I can imagine the extendable metal ones probably help with this, but the spread this gives probably isn’t ideal for people really into bondage.

Broke on the first go
I was very excited for this, but open opening the packaging I was let down. I thought it would extend (my fault for not reading the product description), but the bad wasn’t very big as I’d expected. On the first time trying it, the ring hook broke off. It also isn’t really a spreader if you have big thighs. My thighs were still touching in the spreader. Pretty disappointing overall.

Perfectly addition
I prefer the spreader bar to most other restraints that we own. Perfect restriction when being teased and edge as well as still being able to be manoeuvred into different positions with out having to be unrestrained like you would with other spreading restrictions. The hold is thankfully strong and love the additional ring to connect other restraints to. Easy to use not at all fiddly. The colour is fine although I wouldn’t be to fussed either way. Over all a great addition.

It's Great For BDSM Play
I often have the problem of closing my legs upon feeling pleasure, and this has really helped me with that. However, my partner hasn’t used it much as he finds it can get in the way of things, whether it’s oral, intercourse of even toy play. If you want to try put a spreader bar however, I would recommend this. Its a perfect length, and is not to harsh of a restraint.

Sturdy but cheaply made
I haven’t had the desire to use it yet, but the cuffs are thin pieces of foam sewn on and don’t look like they will provide much comfort. I thought it would come with an extra pair of cuffs but it’s just the bar with a d-ring and two cuffs on the side. Cuffs are on the smaller side.

As promised, The order arrived in short time and in discrete carton.When I tried them on I found the cuffs are nowhere near large enough to secure around the ankles. I cannot use them as the cuffs need to be 3-5 CM longer to allow for fastening. These would only fit someone with very slim ankles.
