I bought these applicators when I knew I wanted to experiment more with anal play. I saw them recommended on the Lovehoney forums as something to ensure your anal passage is well lubed before using long or large toys, rather than just the entrance of your anus. I guess I’m rather nervous of anal toys because activity in that area often causes me to feel very nauseous and sometimes causes an unsexual pain. I bought this for the security it allowed me to feel when using toys, and later for anal sex. To look at they are very practical items. Plastic tubes with a simple plunger and good handholds which are easily grabbed with hands covered with lube. They seem sturdy and you have another one if one breaks, or you are doing anal play with a partner in which you both participate, which I think is good value. They each come with a cap which fastens pretty tightly. To use I lubed both the applicator and around the entrance to my anus. I squeezed a lube that has a small opening directly into the applicator. If you don’t own a lubricant like this (I was using Pjur Back Door Relaxing Anal Glide Lubricant) I imagine you could place the applicator in a tube of lube and pull back the plunger to suck up the lubricant, however, if that was easier. I think it would be hard to use this applicator with a cream like lubricant, such as Doc Johnson Man’s Grease. Because of the way I fill the applicator I tend to leave the cap on whilst I fill it, as it becomes full the cap is often popped off and filled with lubricant and some drizzles on to the bed or wherever I have chosen to lubricate myself. You could, however, just keep a finger over the end of the applicator to solve this problem. When I insert the applicator I do find it jabs me internally slightly. This is possibly just due to my newness of using such things and not quite having perfected the angle. I typically insert it whilst lying on my back on my bed, my bottom elevated and my legs spread, which I have found the best position to use this. Once properly inserted it doesn’t cause any kind of discomfort. Once in it’s very simple to push down the plunger and you feel the lube going inside you, you don’t get much resistance from the plunger against the tube or the lube after your first few uses. After that I tend to just leave it lying around until I’ve finished my anal activities. I clean it in hot water (it does get very sticky and slick with lubricant, I have found) and that washes it away. I do find there is sometimes some residue lube that is quite hard to remove, even after washing and drying. I don’t expect that would happen if I was using a water based lubricant, however. In all I consider this an essential item to use for any anal activity, be it with toys, another man or somebody wearing a strap on. It makes me feel well lubricated and ‘safe’ for anal play. I believe it would also lubricate the vagina well, although obviously it would be sensible to keep the applicators for anal and vaginal lubrication separate or very well cleaned. I have not used it for vaginal lubrication, however.

This is one of those products that ticks all the boxes. Easy to use, pervy, and a solution to a real problem. My husband’s fingers are quite rough so trying to apply lube is not easy. I bought these along with my boyfriend’s first prostate massager, thinking they’d make it a bit easier for him, and I’m really glad I did. We use these all the time now and we’ve not had any problems. They’re well made, with no sharp edges, and straightforward to clean. The ring-shaped handles make it easy for either one of us to maneuver the syringe and also serve to stop it going missing. Each one comes with a little lid, which we’ve found is really useful for warming the lube up to a comfortable temperature. Submerging the syringe in warm water is lot faster than the normal process of warming up the whole bottle, meaning that things can be a bit more spontaneous. We’ve not needed to do this, but I imagine that having two in a pack could also be an advantage. You could fill them both up, use one, and leave the other in a cup of warm water somewhere handy so that reapplication involves the minimum of fuss. I’d recommend these as a good little tool for anyone interested in anal.

To put it simply, we bought these as we like anal play and we needed something to get our lube directly in where it’s needed to reduce the need for several re-applications. It’s a very simple concept. You take the lid off your lube bottle and suck the lube up into the syringe (this does the job of lubricating the device too), insert the syringe into the appropriate orifice and shoot. Job done! There are two in a pack which means you can either have one for each partner (probably best to find a way to ensure you don’t end up sharing them at any point) or you can keep one on the side in case the session requires more slippy slide. Cleaning is easy when used with water based lube and they are reusable. Can’t comment on any other lube types as we stick with water based anal lubes.

I got these as an easy way to add lube internally, without having to try and push it in. This means you can make less mess and get the lube where it’s needed. They are very simple and can be prepared ahead of time and kept ready. To fill, don’t use them like a syringe by trying to draw it up but remove the plunger and pour it in the top then replace the plunger and push out any air. The easiest way of inserting them it squeeze some out before doing so and then using this to help them go in. The small size means almost everyone should be able to get them inside.

I originally bought these syringes for exactly what was advertised: ease of lube application. And I can swear that the advertisement actually under-rated the syringe capabilities. At first sight, the two syringes are made from clear plastic, which although looks relatively fragile, is actually very durable, and I’ve yet to experience any bending in any part of it after using just one nearly twice every week for over a month. The syringes come with small plastic caps, which tend to roll away into an unknown corner if not handled carefully, but otherwise function perfectly to keep the unused/spare lube wet and ready. The internal plunger has a small rubber ring, which can fall off when thoroughly cleaning the syringe, so do be careful with it. Oh, did I mention that cleaning the syringe is way easier that washing your hands? As for the function, I find the syringe does exactly what it meant to do. It goes in and deposits the lube easily, albeit sometimes it tugs on my rear entrance and hurts a bit. It’s small enough to enter even anal beginners – in fact, this should be a must for anal players of all levels – but size-able and hard enough to function as a basic anal probe. What’s more, this syringe is the perfect applicant for a “dry enema”: one and a half syringe of glycerin lube, and I’m ready for a 7-inch long anal dildo after 30 minutes and a toilet visit. All in all, I couldn’t rate this product any lower than 5 stars, nor could I leave it out of any anal session.

The finger holes are big enough even for his large fingers. I got these on a whim really, they’re cheap enough to ust add on to a order, so that’s what I did. When they arrived the packaging was pleasing and as with other products doesn’t require scissors to open so you store the syringes back in their when not being used. The build quality is great and the plunge is a very tight fit providing great push, for lack of a better description, to whatever you fill it with. I would advise caution when filling though, I found the best way is to take the plunger out, remove the end cap and then gently squeeze your lube in a bit at the time, waiting for it run down inside, take care to keep an eye on how close to the tip it’s getting as you don’t want it running out the end as fast as you’re filling it, also take care when putting the plunger back in, as the tight fit that makes the item work so well, means that as I applied more and more pressure to get it to go in, it eventually popped in, causing lube to spray out the end covering my face. When using the item it works perfectly, it slops in easily due to the tip obviously being luvvie up and deposits the lube exactly where you want it without any problem and indeed makes using your lube far easier and cleaner. So I’d recomend the without a question, just maybe use some more sense than I did with filling!

What a great idea! When preparing a scene for my sub I load the pair of the applicators up in advance and replace the protective caps which stops the lube from leaking out. Bought these to use with the doc johnson strap on (feminine one with the rose on it) I had bought my wife. Had some issues using the 1st one which made me think we were using the wrong kind of lube. It would not draw up from the bottom of the bottle. Tried the 2nd one and that worked fine. IF you like anal then these seem to be perfect on first glance. You can fill them with your favourite lube, insert, apply and away you go. The problem though is filling them as anal lube is thick. So trying to fill them from the plunger side either creates an air lock or the lube jsut doesn’t slip down inside. Trying them as a syringe and sucking lube in doesn’t work much better either as the suction isnt strong enough. In the end with perseverance you can get them filled, albeit with a lube all over the place, and then once primed they are in practice fantastic.

Both me and my partner had looked around on Lovehoney to see if there was anything that would be useful for us. We came across these lube tubes that we thought would be good. They had some really good reviews on and we couldn’t keep our little paws off them so ordered them straight away. They came in a discreet brown padded envelope. Nothing on the envelope would make the postman think that we had some saucy things in there. We couldn’t wait to have a look at the real thing. They came in a plastic packaging, which was cut out making a space for the two lube tubes. It was easy to open by separating the two pieces of plastic at the top and peeling them apart. They popped out of their mould easily too. The tubes are great. The top of the syringe has a little hear shape to it, instead of the boring round or square. The finger holes are really big so any size fingers will fit. There is a rubber cap on the end of the tube to stop any lube from seeping out of the bottom. We had a look on the bottom of the tubes as we wanted to make sure there was no sharp parts on the opening. I was pleased to find that there wasn’t any sharp parts. The syringe itself is quite large so quite a bit of lube will fit in there. We wanted to give this a go as soon as we got them. So before using them we filled both of them up with lube. This was easy to do, just take off the top of our favourite lube. The use the syringe to suck up the lube and that’s it simple simon. After the lube was put in the rubber cap was put on the end. It was amazing knowing that our lube was safe in the tube and nothing escaping. We then went on to using the tubes. We found that just easing a little bit of the lube out and slide it round the end of the tube made it easier to insert. I used this on my partner to make sure we could get the anal lube right where we want it. It did slide in really easy. My partner said that it didn’t feel uncomfortable while going in. Right this is the place where we had trouble with. When trying to push out the lube out of the syringe the rubber cap that stopped the syringe from just pushing everything out at once was quite hard to push. I was able to push it down but it then went a little too quickly and felt a little strange for my partner. After using it a few times I have got the hang of it put still that first push always pushes out a little too much. Now cleaning this is easy as the syringe comes out (quite like a calpol syringe). Fill it with water and a little toy cleaner and keep rinsing. Then leave to air dry. The one thing we had done though was left the things all out to dry then I knocked them off and I did loose one of the rubber ends that attach to the syringe to stop it being pushed too quickly. So now one of the tubes hasn’t got its rubber bung. These are not just useful for anal it is also good for vaginal lube. Inserting lube into OH is not always easy, he’s very tight and rubbing it around the outside or onto toys just doesn’t seem to do the job. These are easy to transport because of the caps and they’re nice and easy to use. The finger loops are essential so that you can get a good grip when you’re all sticky. Getting lube further in made it easy to insert toys and much fun ensued. Better yet, inserting the slim slippy syringe was a lot of fun and got OH ready with a promise of more to come. I came across these handy little syringes while looking to surprise my partner with some anal toys. Having had one painful anal experience in the past, I decided anything that makes it easier has to be a good thing! I’ve used these several times now. Because of our use of toys, we used it with Lovehoney Discover Water-Based Anal Lubricant. It got the lube in the impossible to reach places and made anal play more easier and enjoyable. The syringe is extremely smooth and enters comfortably as long as you lube up the outside of it and your anus before inserting. As it’s a twin pack I use one for anal sex and the other for vaginal, but if you prefer, the spare could always be used as a douche. The only negative about this product is that when putting the lube in the syringe, it doesn’t slide down to the bottom of it easily, so if you don’t fill it slowly it can overflow. This is only a slight problem that can be overcome by stopping and pushing the lube further down the tube with the other part of the syringe. It’s incredibly easy to clean, some warm soapy water and it’s done. Yeah it’s not sexy looking (unless you have a medical fetish) but it’s effective and a good price.

When cleaning the syringe, the o-rings on the plunger can sometimes fall off. The o-ring is important to make a seal and allow for the plunger to move liquid up and down the syringe. This happened once and I found it on the floor but the other time it fell down the plug hole! This is a great tool to have on hand whether it be for play anally or vaginally. Additionally, it works great for assisting with insertion of over the counter anal medications.
