Not for Public Play but has alternate Pleasure Powers
This toy certainly has a lot of thrusting power but it also has a lot of volume to match. It is by far my noisiest egg and sadly not suitable for play with my OH out and about. In a loud club you could get away with it but for a trip around your local supermarket, forget it. The lady picking out her perfect cucumber a couple of aisles over will know exactly what’s going on in your underwear. It is a thrusting toy rather than just vibrations, though, and I have never found a quiet thrusting toy, so this is not overly unexpected.The Vulse is well made, it is high quality and very flexible silicone so I have no fear that the section covering the thrusting motion is going to give out any time soon. It is also an absolute breeze to clean being fully waterproof.The controls are excellent, I will get onto the app shortly but firstly, even without the app, it is wonderfully designed. The button to turn it on and switch through the main strengths and patterns is at the end, yes, that’s right, the end of the tale so you don’t need to take it out to switch it on and off or change setting. Hooray, and a first for me in terms of eggs! In addition, the Bluetooth connection to the Vulse is also external to the main body of the egg so the connection to the app is perfect. It has not dropped the connection to my phone once during use, unlike the We-Vibe Bloom, which, as soon as inserted, sees my vagina as a Faraday Cage and stops the Bluetooth connection pretty much dead! Full marks to the Vulse here then.The Lovense app is insane, it does sooooo much. I have certainly not got around to using all the features within the discover tab but I can see why Lovense toys are very popular with cam workers set up for clients to control the toys remotely or for those who want interactions with strangers online. I haven’t used these features but everything else in the app works extremely well so I don’t see any reason these wouldn’t too. The parts I and my OH have mainly concentrated on are the traditional and loop features and the patterns because these are sufficient for what we want. I have also played with the music setting, which is easy to do, linking to music stored on my phone but I didn’t find this feature great as I think thrusting toys are harder to combine that regular vibrations. Within the discover tab, there are also free pattern downloads, within which, I would definitely recommend the Lovense Official, “Oh My Gush”. There are so many more features in the app from AI control interacting with videos to somehow interacting with Games. It’s quite confusing, but if you’re a techy you’ll have a plethora of features to explore and if you’re not, then the basic controls are easy to work out and stick with without needing to delve into complicated menus. I would recommend you allow the app use of floating menus as this makes navigation and switching between features really easy. Anyway, onto use. As I have said, this is my first egg not for use out and about which was, initially, disappointing as eggs have never been powerful enough for me to do a lot, other than, warm me up with the thrill of public play ahead of the main show back home. However, this has proved not a problem with the Vulse as it turns out this has many uses up it’s (or my) sleeve. Firstly, for solo pleasure, insert the Vulse for completely hands free G-spot thrusting stimulation and set to work on your clit. Honestly, in combination with the Womanizer Next this is a truly leg tingling affair and one I will certainly repeat regularly. Secondly, for added pleasure during anal sex, insert the Vulse and have your partner take you from behind. The pressure from his penis restricts space and focusses the action more firmly on my G-spot and the vibrations and movement add to the thrill and sensation for both of us. It might not be the longest session but it’s very enjoyable. These are my top two suggestions and I definitely recommend you give them both a go.Charging – I did have some charging issues with the Vulse. The magnets in the charger are weak, in comparison, for example, to the We-vibe chargers. Initially, however, once carefully positioned, it did exactly as it should, the light came on to charge and went off once fully charged. When I came to use it again the app told me the battery was less than 5%. Fair enough, however, when I plugged it into the charger, no light came on however I positioned the plug, occasional flash but it wouldn’t stay on. I eventually gave up and just left it connected but unlit. When I disconnected it from the charger, and connected it to the app again, I was delighted to find it had fully charged back to 100% with no problem. In retrospect, I think the battery level when first connected to the app is inaccurate and it is better to give it time to properly sync. A full charge takes less than an hour from flat and the lights now do as they should again. I would prefer a flashing light when charging that remains lit once charged as is more common though to avoid worry at a lack of light.Finally, while for ease of use, having the controls situated at the end of the tale is great, if you are brave enough, or in a loud enough venue, to use the Vulse publicly then wearing it under underwear can be uncomfortable. The tale is stiffer than a regular retrieval cord which can smart when bent forward. A small price to pay for perfect, uninterrupted app control though.In conclusion, the Vulse is great and very versatile and I would definitely recommend it for both solo and couple play, as long as the audible volume is not too much of an issue for you. Not ideal for public play in quiet settings or if you live in a house with paper thin walls and inquisitive housemates.

Great toy and app
The overall quality of the Vulse is great, the design is sleek and discreet, the material is strong and I have not noticed a decrease in quality since using it (quite often!). It’s extremely easy to clean after use and is waterproof so it can be used in the shower and fully submerged. The app tends to work 9 times out of 10 for me – the only issue that I have is that the battery reading is incorrect sometimes after charging. For example, I’ll put it on charge for half an hour (usually takes an hour to charge fully), and it will give me a notification to say that it only has 10% battery when I first open the app. After a few seconds it will update to the actual battery life (usually about 50% after 30 mins), this hasn’t been a massive issue but can be quite annoying. I have found that the bluetooth feature works for me 100% of the time and has never dropped out. The charger can be a bit fiddly, because the magnets aren’t that strong so if it is knocked when it is charging it might disconnect and not charge. Sometimes I’ve had problems with getting the magnets to stay but once it’s connected, generally it has no issues. You just need to make sure that the lights are on which means it is charging. Other than that, the app is absolutely brilliant and there are so many features that I haven’t even explored yet. I tend to use the control feature with my partner, and you can also change the overall power of the vibrations so if you’re not a fan of really powerful vibrations you can turn this down and even with the manual control at the top setting, it won’t be massively powerful. I have left the overall power at 100% and I have found that sometimes it won’t be enough for me so I think that the pleasure that you get out of this toy will depend on your limits. I’ve found the user made patterns really great, there’s a massive variety of them with different run times, which can be great to leave on in a session to not have to worry about controlling the toy. There is a feature to connect with people long-distance which I haven’t tried but if it works as well as the rest of the app, I don’t see there being any issues.If you’re not wanting to use the app, the toy has controls built in on the tail end which sits above the clit. This is where you turn it on/off, but you can also cycle through pre-made patterns which is a great feature. It’s extremely handy where it is, meaning that you don’t have to take the toy out to change the settings or turn it off. I have found that for me personally, the thrusting isn’t enough to tip me over the edge but combined with the tail end of the toy on your clit, the vibrations do the job just fine. As another review mentioned, this toy is great when combined with anal sex, because it forces the toy to be pressed against the G spot even more and becomes much more intense, and subtly adds to his pleasure. Because of the thrusting power of this toy, it’s not exactly suitable for public play unless you are in a loud venue. I’ve also found that it is not the most comfortable in underwear or when stood up, maybe because the tail isn’t very flexible. Despite this I am certain that if you were determined enough, you could find a comfortable position for it and it wouldn’t move around too much.Overall, this is great for individuals and couples.
