Blind as a bat
Thank you to the lovehoney fairies who sent me this as a tester in return for an honest review. As always my blindfold came discreetly packed in a brown jiffy bag, inside was a plastic bag with the black blindfold and a lovehoney tag attached. The blindfold is a lovely smooth Satin material but not overly smooth whereas it would come undone as soon as you tie it unlike other blindfolds we have had. This blindfold has a panel which goes across your eyes, which has a wired surround so it has the perfect fit against your face and let’s no light in whatsoever! Woohooo the first blindfold I own which completely blocks out light and allows no peeking! As the blindfold is a tie back it is fully adjustable and so fit me and my husband fantastically and the wired face panel meant that the blindfold molded well to either of us! This is a great blindfold and has now replaced all of our previous blindfold purchases so a massive thank you to the lovehoney fairies!!

Helped Me Relax and Feel More Confident
I would like to credit this blindfold with broadening my horizons, as before this, I thought a blindfold was just a blindfold. To me, they all seemed the same. I now understand what a difference a well-designed blindfold makes. I found the eye-covering part to be pretty amazing. The wires within that rectangle are ingenious. They moulded to both mine and my partner’s faces (which are completely dissimilar) with ease, all that was required was a pinch around the nose area and the bedroom around me was gone, replaced with darkness. Of course, there was a tiny sliver of light at the bottom, but I truly do believe this blindfold provided the best blackout you could possibly achieve without taping your eyes shut (I am not advising you do that by the way!). The overall look of this item is simple and sleek, very classy indeed. The satin ties have a luxurious vibe, however I did find them a bit fiddly because they are so silky. When I attempted to tie them in a knot the first time, I couldn’t manage to get them tight enough around my partner’s head. He took over and had more success by tying a bow, by creating a loop with each tie and then tying them together. It held in place completely after that. My advice would be to practice tying this beforehand, just in case. We used this when imagining fantasies and telling each other about them. It really helped make the mood less awkward and more sensual, plus I kind of forgot I was wearing it at times because it was so comfortable. This is one beautiful blindfold, buy it if youre looking to experiment (or already have) or even just for a boost of confidence during those get-to-know-you sexual encounters.

Best attractive blindfold I've tried
I’ve really liked the blindfolds stocked by lovehoney that include wire, because they’re the only blindfolds or eye masks that actually block out light, as they can be moulded to your features. If you’ve never tried a wired blindfold before, you definitely need to. The first one I tried was the black and purple “Tease Me” blindfold, and I also own the silver and black “All Mine” 5SOG blindfold. I’d been looking for a wired blindfold in plain black so that it would match any of my lingerie. I don’t want to wear a silver blindfold clashing with gold detailing, or a purple one clashing with red – and most of my wardrobe is red! This was exactly what I wanted. Other than not having the logo, and being plain black instead of black and silver it was interchangeable with my 5SOG blindfold, so the review on that page might also be useful. For me, it certainly had the same pros and cons. This blindfold, like the 50SOG one has a more rectangular eye pad than the curved wire in the “tease me” blindfold. I don’t like the rectangular one as much, as isn’t not quite as comfortable or easy to mould to my face. This blindfold takes a little bit of effort to position, instead of blocking out all light in seconds, but I think it does look nicer to have the square blindfold. The satin and leather effect gives the impression of a really good quality product. The only downside is that satin is so soft and smooth is actually very hard to tie tightly, and the knot results in a lump at the back of your head that isn’t very comfortable to try to lie on. On me, this blindfold covers my ears as well, which I don’t like because I don’t think it looks flattering. Without using my ears to keep it on it also has a tendency to slide out of position easily – satin on hair is a slippery combination! For a perfect blindfold for me I would want it to have wire, look good with lingerie, be peek-proof, and be comfortable, all of which this does. However, ideally I would also have a thinner ribbon to tie with that could go over my ears, have a curved shape to the front like the “tease me”, as well as a way of fastening that keeps it in place without an uncomfortable knot at the back, which is where this falls down a little. Because I have yet to find this unicorn, this is my favourite blindfold that I have tried so far – the “tease me” blindfold was more comfortable, but this looks better and my vanity wins out. If you’re not as bothered by it being blackout or seductive, there are others that are more comfortable and stay in place with greater stability, like the elastic backed bondage boutique blindfold, but these just don’t look quite as pretty.

The perfect fit
My partner was away so thought I’d get a cheeky little surprise for when she gets home. We’re quite new with experimenting and thought a blindfold was a good place to start. The blindfold was so soft and silky to the touch, I was excited to try it out! It was so sexy to tie it on and even better to find out it moulder to the face perfectly with a simple pinch at the bridge of your nose; ensuring no sneak peaks could be had! Blackout knockout
I love this blindfold. As is stated on the tin, it is certainly silky. The wire frame is a fantastically simple piece of engineering, you can bend it round the curvature of your nose and achieve a complete blackout in seconds. The silk ties mean you can adjust it perfectly to your head so that nothing feels too loose or too tight. The black satin is perfect, it doesn’t slip off your head or come undone and the whole effect is beautiful. A must-have addition to the bondage box- just remember your safe word! Comfortable enough to sleep in, but using it for its intended purpose is much more fun.

Amazing fit
This blindfold has dual purpose in our house. My husband uses it for sleeping during the day as he works nights sometimes and it’s great at blocking out the natural light. Aids him in gaining the darkness he needs to sleep. As it fits to your face you mould the nose piece so it’s completely dark. Fantastic for senses deprivation. Hubby also loves it when I pop it on him, tie him up and take control, Would recommend this blindfold. It’s very soft and the material is beautifully silky feeling. As usual it came in the plain discreet packaging and inside the box it came in it’s own plastic see-through sleeve. A definite keeper in our bedroom/toybox! Go buy one 😉

An excellent blindfold that's easy to shape
This blindfold from Lovehoney has replaced all our previous blindfolds, and feels really comfortable to wear. The satin material feels smooth and silky and luxurious against the skin, and ties nicely in a bow at the back or side of the head. Ours has been washed by hand a few times, and drip-dried in our shower. It’s held up really well to washing and without losing that deep black colour at all. My OH wears this most, and loves the feeling of total blackout when it’s secured over her eyes. Shaping it to the face is done by moulding the wire frame to your face-shape. This took us all of about 2 minutes to get right first of all, and now, if it gets folded or bent out of shape, it’s more like 5 or 10 seconds to get the shape back. One of our toy drawer favourites!

The Perfect Blackout Experience
Years into the hunt for the perfect blindfold, and I have finally found the ONE! The search is over and I can finally lay back, relish in the blackout and let the other senses take over. I have bought so many blindfolds over the years, but they have all left a gap at the bottom so when laid down some light would shine through and I could see slightly through. This one however, has the wired outline which you shape to your nose and ensures a completely immersive experience. Once shaped properly, you are in complete blackout and this doesn’t budge even throughout play! The quality of the fabric is incredible, and it has an amazingly luxurious feel. It could just as easily be paired with a leather and latex look as it could a soft pink lace baby doll. The silk ties at the back are a lovely long length which mean you can either tie them in a bow, or have them draped down your back which is such a beautiful aesthetic. I also experimented and was able to tie them to a bed post so the possibilities are endless! The blindfold itself feels incredibly soft against my skin and I would say is even comfortable enough to sleep in if you wished! I have had no issues with cleaning this product – it was fairly quick and simple, and it has dried well, not affecting the use all. This blindfold has taken my sensory deprivation play to the next level and I would say is an absolute must have for anyone wanting to begin experimenting with blindfolds, or those who may be more experienced – this will be the only blindfold you need!

Silky little item!
We’ve always had blindfolds but found they never fit very well, which is what spurred this purchase on. It’s much thicker/wider than a standard eye shaped sleep mask and contours to the face better with the moveable internal wire, not to mention the glossy soft material feels very nice against skin. The long ties make it easier to fasten and you can make a super cute bow in the back as well as some intimate tickles. We use this alongside other dress up such as the female fishnet outfits etc. Great price tag too, given in comparison how much other places charge. The fit is what makes it for us and the effectiveness of the ‘blackout’ effect it can achieve.

Nice blindfold
Nice little addition to the toy box, but sadly with a bit of a wiggle of the face and eyebrows it’s easy to move. Love the moldable bottom, which means it can be contoured to fit perfectly. If you are up for a little bit of fun, this is perfect. However, if you wish to ensure your partner is deprived of sight until you decide otherwise, you may need either a different product or team this up some another blindfold.

Simple, but effective!
This wasn’t our first blindfold, but it is now the one that sees the most use by far. From an appearance perspective, you really can’t fault it, black and sleek, it looks very high quality. It’s silky and comfortable, the material is so soft it doesn’t scratch or irritate, and the internal wire allows you to mould it perfectly to the shape of your face, making sure there are no little gaps to peek out from! The ties are generously long, so you can tie them off in a perfect bow. I can even run them all the way around my partner’s head and tie them off at the front, making it so easy to put on when they are already lying down with their head on the bed. It has seen regular use for the last few months and still looks absolutely brand new.

Not fit for purpose
