Teasing Temptress.
Where to start?! I love this babydoll! My most favourite aspect is the colour, the plum is absolutely beautiful, the photo doesn’t do it justice, it’s bright, feminine & seductive and teamed with the black lace it oozes sex appeal x100. The satin is silky, soft & hugs everything in the right places, it accentuates your boobs perfectly and the halter style straps give more than enough room to move as much as you want. Overall, the quality is excellent, I cannot fault LH on their range as everything I have has always been of very high quality & you can see time & effort has went into the production, once again well done for another stunning item LH! The lace/satin combination is always my go-to and this excels, there is just the right amount of lace, side of hemline, underbust, back & ontop of bra line;each complementing one another. It also comes with a matching g-string, in plum satin. This is a nice little addition & completes the set. The g-string fits very well, doesn’t dig in, stays in place and well does what it is meant to do. My only little complaint is the sizing, unlike other LH items I have I found this to be slightly small. I got an M/L (I’m a size 12, 5’9) I wouldn’t say it was tight to the point it looked stretched or out of shape but if you don’t like seeing your tummy then opt for a size up. Apart from that I cannot fault it, it enhanced my boobs, making them look bigger as well as supporting them comfortable, the length is perfect as it sits just above bum cheeks so you have a teasing flash just enough to get pulses racing ^_^ I’d like to say a huge thank you to LH again for their lingerie range, without fail it delivers on high quality pieces that leave me feeling extremely confident & never fails to put a smile on my face, this is a gorgeous little piece to have in your collection as it can be worn for many occasions & will turn heads in a second! ^_^

Plum passion
You really can’t go wrong with a satin babydoll and Lovehoney have got this perfect. I was sent the Plum Lovehoney Plus Size Spoil Me Satin Babydoll Set as a tester and sort of knew what to expect as I have purchased a similar one in red, but I was eager to try the plum babydoll, as anything purple is my favourite, especially when it is enhance with black and Lovehoney have done this with a luscious lace. The babydoll comes in a clear plastic bag, so if you are gifting this for someone, it would look better wrapped in tissue paper and presented in a gift box. I love the feel of satin against my skin and this one feels luxurious and good quality. The sizing is perfect for me at 5’5″ and a size 18-20 with 40FF boobs, it fits well. One of the best parts I found, was the little side splits, the feminine lace with scalloped edging and the dainty bows, show off the tops of your thighs, but most importantly, is comfortable when you sit down. The babydoll doesn’t ride up awkwardly, or split against my chunky thighs, which has happened to me with other babydolls. The design of the straps at the back, are almost a racer back design, with a lace panel to add a seductive look. I would have prefered the straps to be a little wider, for that extra support in the boob area, but overall, my breasts didn’t sag too much. I love the lace edging and dainty ribbon and the little Lovehoney charm. I love that the babydoll covers my bum and skins the tops of my thighs, hiding most of my sins. When worn with hold up stockings and heels, you can turn the babydoll from bedroom wear, to sex siren! It is comfortable to wear during sexy shenanigans too! I’m not really a fan of the G-String, they sort of disappear into the abyss of my huge derriere, so I wore some satin knickers underneath. To launder, just hand wash and air dry, to keep it in good condition. I found it best to iron it inside out and on the lowest temperature, to avoid leaving scorch marks on it. I’d really recommend this to fellow plus size ladies, who like a but of coverage, but wish to remain sexy too. The babydoll feels great against your body, hides any lumps and bumps and is value for money.

Plum perfection
I was super excited to see this new offering from Lovehoney, and even more so at the chance to try it out. This was my first item from the Spoil Me Satin range, but as I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the other ranges I had high hopes for this piece. The materials used are great. Both the satin and the lace are high quality and feel lovely and soft against your skin. The satin is thicker than what you would usually find in lingerie and the reverse side of the material is matte, both of which add to the durability of the garment. The matte lining adds something I think all satin clothing needs; the ability to store it without destroying it! Simply turn it inside out and hang it up, or fold it to put in a drawer, and you don’t need to worry about it snagging or pulling in typical satin style. Thank you Lovehoney! There’s an overall feel of quality to the lingerie, it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy the way satin often does and for once I’m not afraid that a stray fingernail or rough object is going to tear my lingerie to shreds. Lovehoney has taken satin, fortified it and then prettied it up with lace, rich dye and gold charm detailing to make a beautiful yet practical piece of lingerie. The fit is pretty much perfect, ignoring the wisp of super tight elastic that is the g-string (which doesn’t fit me at all, but they never do). I got this in a size medium. I am a size 10 on the top and a 12 on the bottom and the fit looked and felt great. I expected it to feel too tight on my lower half, but it was fine as the satin material does have just a little stretch in it. The fit is definitely true to size, but it’s worth remembering that satin will cling to any lumps and bumps you have. My mummy tummy was quite noticeable even though the overall fit was fine. I am not sure why this is called a babydoll rather than a chemise, as to me babydolls are floaty and frilly and skin past problem areas, whereas this is definitely a skin hugging piece. If you want more of a floaty, A-line shape that doesn’t emphasise chubby bits you could try going up a size, but honestly I think you’d have to be ok with the cling to feel comfortable in this. It doesn’t look bad, but if it’s something you are self conscious about you may feel bad in it. There is no real boob support, which I know is a deal breaker for a lot of women. But it was a great fit around my 32D bust and the lace detailing framed it beautifully. There’s some nice gathering on the underside of the cups which means it could accommodate both smaller breasts and larger ones within the same size range, which is nice. I hate when lingerie designers assume all size 10 women have B cup boobs. The length is very, very short. I am 5’6’’ and it sat just a bit shorter on me than it did on the model. I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing this around the house as a nightie as it doesn’t cover my bum and just barely covers my intimate area, but when it comes to bedroom wear it is great. It’s just long enough to provide a tease, but so short it’s fairly obvious you are wearing it to get a reaction. Overall, despite the clinging to my tummy, I did feel good in this babydoll/chemise. The colour is stunning, if a slightly different shade in real life than in the product pictures. The lace and slit detail on the bottom draws attention to and lengthens your legs. Every little details comes together to make such a very pretty piece of lingerie, it’s hard not to feel pretty in it. And most of all, I love that I can wear it fearlessly as it’s actually tough enough to survive wearing. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a better quality satin experience. I wouldn’t be quick to recommend it to ladies who are terribly self conscious about their tummy or who require breast support to feel comfortable as unfortunately you may feel your problem areas are being emphasised rather than flattered. It is a lovely piece and well worth buying if you like silky chemises, but if it’s a floaty babydoll you’re looking for there are better choices out there.

Classy plum
I was thrilled to be asked to test the new plus size baby doll set and to receive the plum colour version was an added bonus. The item, like most online clothes purchases, was packed in a simple clear plastic bag, not exactly luxurious but certainly hygienic and functional. The dark plum colour looks very classy, the satin seems good quality and the black lace trim decoration adds to the quality feel. It is well made; there are no loose threads or puckered seams. The heart on the bow at the front is a feature of Lovehoney ‘ s lingerie range; personally I think the gold colour of this detracts a little from what otherwise looks a tasteful item and feel silver would have been a better choice. The 1X/2X size fits my size 18 quite well, though provides no support for my 36F bust. That isn’t an issue for me with sexy nightwear. The back is a bit different and I liked the fact that the straps had a bit of give in them. The baby doll was slightly more fitted than I expected and is quite snug around the tummy. That may not suit some people. I have a long body and long femurs so this seems very short on me, barely covering my bum, and the little triangle of fabric on the matching g string provides absolutely no additional coverage. My husband loved it! In conclusion, this is a good quality item. It is a pretty style and combines sexy with classy.

Pretty in plum
The new Lovehoney range of underwear, so far has simply been amazing. Excellent quality combined with decent pricing. Everyone should own something plum in their lingerie collection, in fact, lots of plum! This is such a nice colour, and very different to my normal, I just love it. The black lace really goes well with the plum, and totally makes this perfect. First off, and will get it out the way now, the added thong is no different to other lingerie brand and in my opinion is completely pointless. Yes they make it an ‘outfit’ but I can’t see anyone that would actually wear these again and again, so in the bin they go. Personally I pair this with a lovely pair of lace knickers/shorts (also by lovehoney) which look amazing, just need some plum ones to really set this off! This feels so luxurious to wear with the soft satin against your skin, its definitely more sexy and sultry than slutty, which for some might not be so great, but always good to have a mix in the drawers right? Once on the satin hugs the body, and was a bit apprehensive at first, but this looks really good even for us more curvy ladies, and feels so nice any self conscious feelings soon disappear and are replaced with naughty thoughts! As per most babydolls this doesn’t offer support for us larger chested ladies, but I wouldn’t expect it to so no biggie, and this still looks dam good! The black lacey sections on the front and back really do set this off, and is fast becoming one of the favorite items to put on for a night of fun, although doesn’t tend to stay on long!

This is my first order from lovehoney. I was so excited when I received it and can’t wait to wear it. I did try it on it’s a little tight but the fabric is so soft. Lovely shape, luxurious fabric, be careful on size
I am on the petite side, most of my clothing is size 8-10 and I am only 5’2. A-cup so not much there either. Choosing the size was a little awkward and I was worried it would not be flattering but we plumped for the small. Size wise, it is as I would have expected, on the smaller side for me, but I am sure the medium would have been slightly too large. That being said the shape fitted me well, similar to the model show in the picture. My breasts were not swamped which was nice, a common problem for me. Ladies of a fuller bust may have a trouble, just something to watch out for. Thong was a good fit, just a bit of a nothing as you might expect! haha. The fabric feels lovely, very luxurious and the construction seems to be well made. I think I looked good in it and the other half certainly agreed so it does what it says on the tin! I got mine on a slight reduction which made it excellent value, even at full price though I think it is very fair.

It’s a stunning plum colour combined with a good amount of black lace detailing to give it an opulent sexy look. This babydoll set is gorgeous so I’m a little disappointed how ill fitting it was for me. About me: I wear a US 16/18 (varies by brand, of course) and a 42DDD bra. I have tried on both the 1x/2x and 3x/4x and honestly couldn’t tell the difference between the two, they were both snug! I am in the process of trying to lose some weight, so I’m planning to hang on to it instead of doing another return. Sizing inconsistencies are frustrating, but that’s the gamble with buying online. I find it interesting how Lovehoney’s crotchless panties were true to size, but this wasn’t.

Loved the look of this item and that it came in plus sizes. How much does sizing vary though from brand to brand and over the years?? I am a 16/18 and still have 2 old chemises like this from years ago, in a 14 and they still fit but are tight around the bust. Have bought the other half a few chemises from various different brands. This one from Lovehoney has a lovely colour and looks great on her. This is the first time buying something like this and it’s safe to say the last too. Sizing was disappointing
Was really looking forward to this item arriving, I’m a UK 10-12 so I ordered a size Large for a bit of extra comfort whilst wearing it at night. I have to say I was gutted about the sizing. It’s a really snug fit on the stomach and didn’t make me feel comfortable or sexy. The material is great and the colour is lovely but I think I may need to go a size higher again.

I’m ALWAYS a size M in love honey, bought this in a large after reading the reviews and it’s SO small. Total waste of money. I think they’ve got a “one size fits 8-16” item and just labelled them in different sizes despite the measurements not changing, honestly. Disappointed!Also feels much cheaper than I expected – wouldn’t have though it cost more that one of those boxed £10 sets that hang up in Ann Summers!

I’m a size 20 generally but thought I would order the largest size in case it came up small and would not accommodate my boobs and according to the description was ok for size 22-24, how wrong I was! Love this piece of lingerie. Color is beautiful shade of purple and nice change of pace frome red, black and only sometimes blue that most lingerie comes in. Fits exactly as expected based on description, size and size chart. However, it required 7 washes to even be able to wear it because the factory/packaging smell was so strong and would not easily dissipate. I have never had that issue with any other items purchased here (and I have more than a few! Lol).

The straps have a little elastic too so they aren’t tight. The sizing is small though – wife is usually a size 14 dress but she has natural 34HH titties so after reading reviews went with the larger 1x/2x size and it’s perfect, her tits are really well contained, which can rarely be said!!
