I bought this in sale, and it was definitely a great purchase! The material feels nice on, and its quite stretchy and adjustable so fit me perfectly, though i don’t think it would quite fit size 16 as it states. I have large breasts at size 32G and a size 10 body, so the underwire was a bit small and the detachable parts only just covered my breasts and did squash them a little, but the apex straps looked amazing. The thong is a bit cheap feeling and quite big, but for the price its fine. I purchased the red stockings to go with it, but I found the suspender straps were quite long, even when shortened all the way, but it wouldn’t really be too noticeable or ruin the overall look.

When I opened it up I thought ‘this looks tiny!’ It is one piece corset with a matching thong. For reference I am a size 10-12 on bottom with 34G breasts. However I tried it on and the basque stretches over your body for a nice hugging fit and the halterneck gives you more of an adjustable fit so it didn’t feel small at all. The cups are too small for my breasts but I like it as it pushes them up and out together creating a massive sexy cleavage. I absolutely loved the criss cross design on my bum and hope to find similar knickers or this same set in another colour. The only thing was the thing looked cheap and was too big but it matches well with the basque. I also ordered matching red stockings to complete the outfit. I wore it under a dress for date night and when I took my dress my bf’s jaw dropped to the floor! The colour and the outfit is unbelievably sexy, it’s definitely a bargain buy.

Bought this basque yesterday and it arrived today. Couldn’t be any more happy with it. i’m a size 16/18 with size 38g boobs. This basque fits perfect around the waist. Its a little small around the boobs and the lace has a slight pull on it, but for me I can cope with this. Thong included which feels good quality and covers plenty, not a flimsy string. The peek a boo cups were easy to manage, easy to put on the item, straps over the bottom look amazing, the only thing is the strap over your back was a bit thin therefore unflattering but it is adjustable, I would prefer a bit more back coverage through a wider strap.

This Lovehoney Pure Romance Basque Set in Ivory & One Size was kindly sent to us, in return for an honest review as a Tester item. The garment arrives in a clear plastic bag within the normal discreet box, to avoid any prying eyes etc. The Set consists of an Ivory coloured Basque with matching fine net G-string. It is very well made with an underwired bust & triangular lace areas running down the centre front & over the breasts. The sections over the breasts are secured by a clip at the top, which when undone, gives an open cup effect. Also, the lace is finely decorated with a gold thread, giving a very nice patterned sparkling effect. To finish off you get a nice little ribbon bow (with Lovehoney Motif) located mid cup, a halter neck tie, four stocking straps & a criss-cross ribbon effect at the base of the low-cut back Now for the moment of truth ?. My wife is a Size 12 with 36C chest. She mostly doesn’t have a problem with One Size especially if, like this set, it is UK 8 – 16. Therefore she was able to get into this set with no problem. Once adjusted & smoothed around, she felt very comfortable in it, with a bit of extra give & wriggle room, if required to cater for her actual shape. There is adjustment available with the halter neck strap & also a mid-height strap at the rear. The main structure of the basque is of a fine net fabric, & was soft enough not to cause any bother. With the underwire of the bra section there was sufficient breast support. The G-string was also a fine net fabric & had a small gusset. It was of a good size with that little bit of stretch, if required ? So the verdict ? It is a well made set, well structured & designed. But the most outstanding part for us, was the detailed lace with the patterned thin gold line around it. In a certain subdued light, this made the outfit stand out, giving it that extra value as something good to wear. So, standing there, the wife was impressed & really liked the feel of the set, although she did feel there was room for a little improvement on a slightly basic G-string, such as a section of lace ? However, & finally what she had not realised was the ability to wear it as open cup, which I was gladly delighted to show her.!! Definitely recommend this for anybody liking the Ivory colour & Lace detail….. this has got to a worthwhile wardrobe addition. Isn't it Romantic?
There really is an attention to detail that is difficult to find in stretchy and comfortable lingerie. Often you have to sacrifice one or the other, particularly in colours that aren’t usually ‘sexy’ and show all minor details like ivory/white does. However, this basque is well thought out and beautifully finished. In short, the word ‘romance’ is absolutely perfect for this. For reference, I’m an 18/20 on top but a 24/26 on the bottom, 40 DD/E bust, and 5’6’’ in height. This is definitely comfortable in terms of fit. It’s super stretchy and the design of the straps at the bottom means that it pulls flat against my tummy to hide the lumps and bumps. The back is stunning as well with gorgeous criss-crossing ribbon that highlights my big booty, and I imagine would do the same for someone with a smaller behind. Also, the panties genuinely fit and are very comfortable. As it’s unpadded, it’s never going to offer the best support of all time, but they have cleverly included a back strap for the underbust which does help a little. It is a halterneck so most of the weight is held by your neck, which works but does begin to get a little sore longterm if your baps are as big as mine. That being said, it makes my breasts look really perky and it’s generally comfortable as the straps are large and soft material. The lace is simply beautiful and the patterning is consistent and well matched. It is super feminine and still see through enough without offering the full peep hole effect. A perfect 10 for teasing! This isn’t to say that there’s nothing a bit problematic. While this fits me beautifully, I’m not sure women much taller than me would have their tummy completely covered. My back rolls can be seen quite a bit with the open back panel as well. While the colour is gorgeous (though more of a white than ivory I’d say), it’s very difficult to colour match with stockings. Finally, my biggest pet peeve on this style of lingerie is the fiddly suspender straps (which this certainly has!) and on this basque you can’t detach them. However, these are tiny, personal preferences of mine but worth mentioning. All in all, this is a gorgeous basque and is particularly perfect for bridal lingerie. I felt sexy and comfy which aren’t always happy bedfellows. I promise this is worth a try. I loved it!

I was kindly sent this to give an honest review thank you so much lovehoney I am a good size 18 with 38c boobs and 5foot 6 inches so you get an idea on size and fitting So this set comes folded nearly in a clear plastic bag. This is a very beautiful set and feels amazing it’s the softest silk like lace I’ve ever felt. And is so stretchy I couldn’t wait to slip it on. Its very easy to put and the back bust is adjustable so can fit it to your body perfect. Then the halter neck is just 2 long bits of stretchy material so you can have it as tight or loose as you wish. So it comes with a matching g-string, although I’m not a fan of g-string or does suit the set really well. And as always with lovehoney lingerie it’s very well made and feels like a luxury set. The detail on the body is so stunning and elegant with a gold running through it. I love that the bra part is easy accessible with the hook to drop the bra flap down so your boobs are exposed (hubby loved this so much) It looked so good on and felt so soft and comfortable on. It stretched with me while in the throwns of passion and the suspender straps are well made and kept my stockings on well. This would make a brilliant wedding night set I joked with hubby I should have worn this on our wedding night. And he even said it makes you look sweet and sexy like a virgin bride lol. I would say the size is very true to size would definitely fit a larger size and larger boobs.

The body stocking itself was alright but the ends where it is suppose to hold the stockings there are little rubber place holders. They do not hold up stockings at all. They legit pop right out. It’s very disappointing and disheartening. Was going to surprise my boyfriend with it but it is not right.

Misleading size
As usual, the packaging was discreet on arrival. Which is a massive deal for myself and husband as we both work long hours, so it’s often our elderly neighbour that takes recipet of our parcels. And as much as i expect she’s seen her fair share of sex toys and lingerie, I don’t want to be having any form of sexual conversations with her. The colour was true to taht shown online but unfortunately the “one size fits most” gamble with this, was a failure on my opinion. This looked to be amazing and well fitted but I myself ( usually 12-14) found this extremely tight in every area. Especially around my boobs. I had no chance of feeling or looking sexy in this as it made me look and feel much bigger than I am. I would have returned it but I had it for more that 14 days before trying it on. Rouke mistake.

The underlining is one continuous piece, and I’m usually sceptical of these things, but the adjustable strap at the back made it pretty comfortable. I came across this beauty unexpectedly in the clearance section. Honestly I was more than a little delighted at first sight on the website. I had been trying to find something that would suit a sort of angelic character I wanted to do a cosplay-lingerie shoot with for my OF account. The whites combined with the soft lace and ribbons plus the ability to pop away the bra section without taking the whole thing off seemed perfect. It is, of course, very form fitting, but I tend to like basque shapes as I’m a little on the chunky side and don’t feel comfortable with my tummy out so it’s nice to have that sort of covered. I’m a 14-16 so on the bigger side of that “one size fits all”, plus around a 36DD and 5’4″ so, short and curvy as all hell. And i found it fit me very well and with relative ease. The material of the body is sheer enough that I can see my tattoos through it just enough which makes me very happy also. I’m a big fan of the straps over the butt too, to be honest.I love how sweet it looks, even with me being pale as a ghost anyway, the white doesn’t drown me out I don’t think. I got the lovehoney basics lace stockings to go with this and they are a perfect combo. just a little more sheer as I can see my tattoos more clearly through them but I’m not complaining about that at all. Once you tie the halterneck into a knotted bow it holds you securely, and even with the chest poppers undone to expose nipples, you still get a pretty decent hold in my opinion. My only gripe is the thong. The underwear is a little narrow for my taste, at the front. Especially for someone a little chunkier. And I’ve never felt sexy with a wedgie, but fortunately white isn’t hard to match and any lace or strappy underwear fits well as a stand in if you’re like me. All in all, I actually really adore this set, and I previewed it on my account and my fans love it, too. So I have to say, it’s well worth the money for something very sweet.

I love this set. I was a bit nervous about how it would fit as I’m normally really dubious about “one size fits all” outfits. For reference I’m a size 12 with a large bust. I’m normally a 32dd but I’ve put on weight and they are definitely more sizeable though I haven’t been measured but I’m guessing more of an E cup now. The cups are too small for me and would be at my normal 32dd size but I can manage to shift my breasts about a bit and alter the halter neck strap enough that I still look and feel good in it. As I’ll only really need it for the bedroom this doesn’t bother me at all. Although I’m pretty sure I could get away with it under clothes and be comfortable for an evening. I paid the top price for this and to be honest I don’t really mind as it’s a Christmas treat for my husband under the love honey sexy Santa outfit. And yes I do feel sexy in it! Take note of suspender length
While the style was lovely, if you are on the short side you might want to go with another set. I’m 5’2 so I run into suspenders being long on me, but this set was miles too long. Even with the band tightened all the way up, the garter hit in a very awkward place not too far above my knee. It wasn’t flattering or functional – I had to roll down the stockings 2x over.
