A non slutty basque set
I was sent this ivory white and pink basque set in return for an honest review.Basque sets always have a sexy look to them, always look raunchy and normally lead to a good night.This set is definitely in that league but does so with a more feminine approach. The white and pastel pink look is a lovely garment that bucks the trend of everything looking slutty and too much.This basque has a very pretty floral design over the sheer lace fabric and has pink trims and straps to add colour.The boning cinches help flatter any size waist and really hug your figure.The cross cross design of the back allows some extra stretch to anyone like me who is a size 12/14 but want to still feel slimmer.The hook and eye fasteners at the back give more adjustments and with straps having more movement, you are sure to find lots of different settings. I still however struggled and had far too much side boob and overspill on display.My nipples were slightly on show, but if you have someone like my husband, he thought this was amazing, although my guess is, that it wasn’t designed like that.The padded cups are really comfortable, so it’s a shame a little more fabric wasn’t there to cover more of me.I also found the fastening slightly hard to do up but didn’t want to get my husband to help, as this would ruin the illusion.Apart from the cup issue, this set is amazing. It’s so flattering, and well fitted on the waist and I am sure if you had a slightly smaller bust size, the small pink buttons on the item will draw your eyes to a nicely supported cleavage.The adjacent view will make anyones eyes wander down past the pretty matching thong and onto the lovely suspenders straps.These basques always make me feel super sexy but this this didn’t feel as seductive. The white ivory and pink finishing made the item feel more girly- but definitely in a positive way. It put me more at ease and not like mutton dressed as lamb.It’s sensual approach is elegant and and stylish so you don’t loose any sex appeal.My husband said he could see I was happier in this and he could tell I was more comfortable in myself in this item, and that made it sexier.He also text me the next day, saying he “couldn’t get the image of me wearing this, out of his head.”It’s a very well made item and I can tell it’s a premium garment and will stay near the top of my special lingerie draw.My only piece of advice for Lovehoney would be to add ivory stockings as I only had white and it didn’t look the best, but I actually don’t think my husband noticed as his jaw had dropped so much, it was probably in the way.If you want an item to wear to wow any partner, and you don’t want red or black – go for this one.

We received this lingerie to test and review. It is essentially a Basque with thong panties. The Basque is made from Ivory floral lace with pink elastic straps and suspenders (with proper metal clips) and matching pink lace trim. There are three pearlescent beads between the bra cups. The bra cups themselves are underwired and slightly padded. The rear of the garment is almost completely open with corset lacing across the back in matching pink elastic lace. The Basque has three ‘bones’ at each side to maintain it’s shape. It fastens using hooks and eyes for the bra section and also for an elastic strap a little further down the body. There are three possible positions for both of these fixingsThe panties are made in the same ivory floral lace with a padded gusset and the same pink adjustable elastic straps.Both items are easy to put on and adjust. Once the hooks are unfastened step into the Basque, pull it up and fasten it up again. The waistband of the panties is adjustable at both sides and the Basque has adjustable fasteners, adjustable shoulder straps and, of course, adjustable suspenders so it can all be made to fit very well. A warning though. My wife is a size 12 and normally LH size M fits her well. This time though the size ranges offered for testing were 10 – 12 or 14 – 16 so I chose the 14 – 16 which arrived badged as L. It only just fit her across the back so It seems that this particular garment may be a smaller fit than normal.Once we had everything fitted correctly we were both really impressed. The combination is very pretty. This is not a criticism in any way. We have our chain and leather gear and our wet look studded items which look attractive in a very different way but this set was just so pretty, especially the corset lacing across the back. She also said that is was so comfortable that she fully intends to wear it when we go out too. The only feature we would have preferred is for the suspenders to be removeable as she never wears stockings but this is obviously a personal preference.

I was a bit worried when I ordered this as I have bigger boobs but this fitted well. Hubby absolutely love it! Especially with the matching stockings. This was very comfortable, I usually end up taking sexy underwear off half way through but this stayed on the whole time as it was super comfortable.The front is so pretty and the back is super sexy

This is now my favorite lingerie piece!
This basque is absolutely perfect. I love the fit, color and material. I feel like the size 3x/4x was custom-made for my body (I’m size 38DD/18) as it hugs my curves perfectly. The criss-cross elastic straps in the back add a little spice to the otherwise dainty lace bodice, which is super soft and luxurious. I wore it with pale pink thigh-high stockings. I felt so sexy and my partner agreed. The only negative thing is that one of the pink pearls on the front popped off the first time I wore it but it really doesn’t take away from the overall look. I cannot recommend this piece more and I hope Lovehoney carries more styles/colors in this line!

Bliss.
As an owner and lover of the Vintage Bliss skirted body and bra set, I just had to complete the collection and get the basque set too.At size 10 on top, 12 bottoms, 36C and 5ft6, I received this set in size Medium. Although the basque is boned and has a beautiful mix of different delicate materials, it has a good element of stretch and fits just fine! The back has a number of hook and eye fastenings which supports getting on/off easier and allows some adjustability, along with the shoulder straps and band on the g-string. For a lingerie piece that isn’t size specific, I found my boobs fit the cups well and even appeared a little boosted, as well as well support by the underwire.The basque is beautiful; it’s classic, it’s elegant, it’s incredibly feminine and soft. The gentle lace and mesh materials, the scalloped detailing and the pearlescent “buttons” all add to the overall demure look. The colour scheme is soft and beautifully pairs with a pair of white or nude stockings. The overall shaping of the basque enables a very snug fit; it sits tight against the body with the boning adding structure. The boning isn’t uncomfortable or too stiff unlike some other basques.The open-back is a lovely feature, particularly the corset-style detailing. I would prefer this if you could tie it with two ends, however it does work how it is and still looks divine.Overall I really adore this set, just like I have with the others. I’d personally only change the strip of ribbon that sits across the waist; it almost appears unfinished and a little out of place compared to the high quality standard of the rest of the set.

I’m always a bit skeptical when buying basques and corsets as they don’t always have a good fit towards the bottom, but this one is absolutely perfect and is a stunning piece of lingerie. Paired with some white stockings and under a robe it feels amazing. It’s well made and good value.

Gorgeous Basque
Have been wanting to get one of these for a while as my fave lingerie is a basque.Took the plunge in the recent sale and so glad i did, because it is gorgeous.I love the design with the lace, the pearl buttons on the front and the criss cross style on the back. .Its an almost perfect and is so comforatable. .Only downside imo is the ribbon on the suspender straps can make it a bit fiddly to attach stockings. . .
