I was lucky enough to have this lovely babydoll sent to me to review: thanks lovehoney! It’s perfect for christmas! The red is bright and christmassy and very sexy, and you can tie the bows up just like the perfect christmas gift! The design is really clever, there’s a piece of elastic that runs under the bust and around the back, and you tie the babydoll closed at the centre. You then tie the halter top bit behind your neck, and if you tie it tight enough it’ll give you a gentle lift for some cleavage. I’m a size 12-14 and this babydoll fit me perfectly! The fabric is a soft lace that feels great; it’s really light and it swooshes around you body, which made me feel ultra feminine and sexy. It’s shear so you get to see skin too, adding to the sex appeal of this top. The ribbons are also really soft and silky, and very easy to undo, ideal for your partner to unwrap you…. For me, the babydoll ended just under my bum, which was a very flattering look for me. I’m about 5’5″, if your taller it will probably be shorter on you. I’ve worn it during sex now, and those ribbons stayed safely tied up until I wanted them undone. The stitching is sturdy, and t’s good quality material, so I imagine this babydoll will last a long time. I can see this red lace babydoll making a great christmas surprise for any lover.

The first thing I noticed when I opened this is how vibrant and alluring the colour is. It really is a treat for the eyes, and I thought that before my wife had even put it on. It’s a very sexy shade of purple. My wife is a size 14/36B and she altered this to her fit within a minute or two using the adjustable halter ribbon round the neck, and by re-tying the bow at the front. The open front makes it easy to slide your hands in so you can caress the lower back without rucking up the ‘skirting’, and it also has a nice low back which frames a pleasing amount of kissable skin. I did initially think it was a set when I ordered it but realised when it arrived that the picture is more of a serving suggestion (it does state quite clearly in the product description that the thong is sold separately, but I must’ve skipped that bit in my eagerness to purchase it). With this in mind you may want to consider buying some matching coloured knickers to compliment it. So as usual the box of joy arrives as any other boring parcel so unsuspecting folk have no idea what’s inside. Easily fobbed off with any excuse you give them. There is no hint of where the parcel is from- no ‘LH Trading’ or anything to link it to Lovehoney unless you do some research! This item came in its own clear cellophane package. Each item is wrapped individually either in cellophane or a cardboard box Upon opening the package I could tell this was very well made. Soft and slightly stretchy. I’d teamed this item with Oh La La crotchless knickers, a winning combination! The top held my breasts in pretty well, being a 38G nothing holds them in/up unless it’s underwired these days! This did a great job though. My husband didn’t make use of the ties to undo the item but if he had he’d have come across a hook and eye just behind the tie which helped keep everything in place. Being a babydoll meant there wasn’t any need to undo it- there is enough stretch in the material to either pop a hand in the top or take a breast out. There’s also no need for knickers if you don’t want to! The babydoll hung beautifully and covered all the parts I wanted covering. Fed up of not looking the sexiest at bedtime, I thought it was time I invested in a couple of “barely there” nightwear. It arrived as per usual in plain packaging, very small within its own packaging, did wonder if it would fit. There is a ribbon that ties at the front and one that ties round the back of the neck. You need to tie the one round the neck first but not too tight, it might require a couple of tweaks before it feels comfortable and then tie at the front. I don’t have the largest bust but because of the stretchy material it fits very well around the bust area and the material below the bust hangs lovely disguising my mummy tummy. Cannot fault this item it is absolutely beautiful, it arrived as usual in discreet plain packaging box and then inside its own clear bag. I tried this on immediately and fell in love straight away. Really impressed with this baby doll. Found it not long to be very flattering on but also more support than I expected for my boobs. Liked the way the material draped and skimmed over my hips, but amd tum. While the way it opens gave just wnough glimpse of bare skin. I added this to my cart as an impulse buy, and I am glad I did. This piece is extremely flattering and offers easy access (which my OH loves). It just ties under your chest and around your neck. So easy to put on and to take off. As a bonus, it really highlights your cleavage. Note that it doesn’t come with panties (which it clearly states in the listing). The flutter, stretch and laciness of the fabric is wonderful, and the ribbons are soft. As an A-cup woman, the cups are loose around my breasts, especially when lying down (’cause we all will!) so I un-stitched the bust ribbons, tucked a bit of the cup fabric under, and sewed it back down. A better alteration would be a bit more elastic along the inner edges of the cups. They would still stretch for larger busts. Or, maybe, a tiny overlap in the front. You can always tie things looser, but you can’t tie them tighter than the attachment points!

Nice but tricky for large chests
Lovely lace, the red is quite bright, not wine-red if that is what you are looking for. I am a size 20-22 and the waist ribbon was just able to close without looking too tight. I’m a size E though and the lace bra section was difficult to tie up, but with manuvering I was able to adjust it enough to look nice and tie the halter enough so it could hold my chest. A good first choice for lingerie if you haven’t done this sort of thing before.
