I am about 5’8” and 170 ish lbs with thick thighs, and I can pull these up to near just 4 or 5 inches below my crotch – much higher than mid thigh in other words. I kinda like how it looks, and they stay up pretty well on their own (although I guess I’m mostly wearing them in bed, not walking around all day (; ). That said, it did put a lot of slack in my garters, so I needed to fiddle around with the fit there. Overall very happy.

I paired these with the black basque. They were tricky to attach however this was the basque issue rather than the stockings which felt great on. In the end I attached the clips to the stockings first and then attached the clips to the basque which was much quicker and easier!

I purchased these stockings (One Size UK 6-16) to wear with my Lovehoney Mapale Sweetheart Black Lace Bra Set and they completed the outfit perfectly.Upon putting on the stockings, I thought that the material was soft and not easily snagged if you’re careful when putting them on. As I have quite long slim legs, I tend to gather up the stocking and roll it up my leg so that I can smooth the stocking evenly for the whole of my leg and foot. I like that the top of the stocking has lace detail, and although the staying power could be increased by a silicone band, I feel that this would then reduce the aesthetic.I found after a few uses some lines did appear, but there were no major snags or holes. If you are naughty and chuck these in the washing machine rather than hand washing, I recommend putting them in a laundry bag to reduce the chances of collecting more snags. I found them easily foldable for when I wanted to store them away, but would just keep them away from any bra or suspender hooks!Overall, these stockings gave me the same benefits as tights, but with increased comfort and breathability. They are also a nice alternative to fish nets with a fair price too.
