Brought this set in the sale and didn’t expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Lovely material, well made and great fabric. Basic but cute, ideal for an alternative option to a structured set for a change. Small pink bow adds detail and makes product look girlie and feminine. Material is see through.

Pretty purple piece
I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, halterneck babydolls are my favourite and as long as Lovehoney keeps putting them out there, I’ll just have to try them all. This has to be one of my favourite Lovehoney Lingerie collections to date. The purple colour is gorgeous and so flattering my light hair and fair-skinned complexion. I much prefer this babydoll to its push-up sister in the Barely There range. Whilst that one didn’t fit me perfectly, this babydoll is much better suited to my pear shape. I am a size Medium with a small bust for reference. The ribbon halterneck means I can adjust it for an ideal fit around my bust and it doesn’t cling to my tummy. It’s a great confidence boosting piece of lingerie as it skims over the parts I am not so comfortable with but highlights those I like. I am 5ft6 and the length comes up pretty cheeky on me which I get the sense my OH appreciates! Because I didn’t read the product description (I’m all about the visuals) I didn’t realise this came with a matching thong. It is a valuable inclusion to the set and it fits me well. It’s the the cherry on the top of another great babydoll from Lovehoney. I really look forward to wearing it a lot more this Spring and Summer.

As a size 16/18 I often get nervous wearing sexy underwear however this made me feel so nice. It fit in all the right places and pulled me in at the waist so my body was a lovely shape. Great lovehoney quality
After deciding I wanted a babydoll with a halterneck lovehoney was the obvious choice as I have a few lovehoney items and I’m always happy with them. The Lovehoney Barely There Black Sheer Babydoll Set was exactly what I was looking for and knowing the quality of lovehoney as well as their amazing return policy I had not issues pulling the trigger and ordering it. And I was not disappointed. I ordered late Tuesday night and had it in my hands first thing Thursday morning but as usual we miss the post and it got left with next door, but thanks to lovehoney’s discreet packaging I knew I was safe. As with all lovehoney lingerie the Lovehoney Barely There Black Sheer Babydoll Set game in a clear plastic bag with the usual tag attached with the wash instructions and materials. With the combination of the halterneck and the adjustable strap on the back I have never had a babydoll fit so well and the material feels really nice and soft against your skin. The thing that really impressed me with the Lovehoney Barely There Black Sheer Babydoll Set was the thong , normally with lingerie you get a G-string that gets chucked in a draw and as we have quite a few lovehoney items we have a lot of the same G-string’s that very really see the light of day but these thongs are a lot better. I can see them getting a fair bit of use.

Barely there but beautiful
Having already fallen in love with the teddy and suspender knickers from this range, I didn’t hesitate when I spotted this babydoll on sale for £10. A girl can never have too many babydolls, right? First and foremost the quality is fantastic and I would have no problem paying full price. The material is so soft against skin and is surprisingly durable for being sheer. I’ve been regularly wearing and washing my other Barely There items for around 9 months now and they still look perfect, with no pulls or colour fade, so I’m not worried about longer term wear and tear. The sizing is spot on, surprisingly so for a ‘one size’ item. I’m a size 10-12, so in the mid range of the recommended 8-16 size bracket, and found this a very comfortable and flattering fit. Thanks to the slider in the back, the tie up halterneck and lots of stretch all over there is a lot of room for adjustment. The only thing I found problematic about the fit is the length, it sits a lot shorter on me than it does on the model (strange as I am shorter than her!). I thought this might be because I tie the halterneck quite tight to get some extra bust support but even when I loosen the halterneck it sits short. Where the model appears to have both her bottom and her privates covered, I have neither. It’s not a deal breaker for me as, let’s face it, a ‘barely there’ sheer babydoll is never going to be the most modest item of lingerie is it? Overall, I’d highly recommend this babydoll. It’s a cover up that doesn’t completely cover you up and I love it; the areas I’m self conscious about (like my tummy) are covered, giving me the confidence to show off the rest through the sheer material. I think this is the perfect babydoll to negate the ‘babydolls can’t be sexy’ argument! With its cool, lightweight design and bright colour I’m sure this one is going to get a lot of wear this summer.

Lingerie comes in so many colours but my favourite colour, green, has rarely made an appearance. Now my favourite colour is included in my favourite Lovehoney range! The Barely There range has been a firm favourite of mine since it’s initial launch in purple and black. The parcel arrived discreetly and quickly in Lovehoneys usual fashion. It was folded carefully in a plastic bag so it was dust and crease free. The fabric is soft and cool to the touch and looks so luxurious. It has a great stretch to it so once it is on it hugs every curve beautifully. The fit is fantastic, I am a size 18-20, over 5’9″, C cup bust, wide back, mummy tummy and a round bum. This fits perfectly. It holds your boobs up only by the halterneck, there isn’t a lot of support but thankfully I don’t need it. The fabric is, as the name suggests, barely there so it does not hide your nipples. They are visible but only slightly. It is ever so pleasing to the eye. The back has a sliding adjuster to create the perfect fit. I am very broad backed so have this almost at the end of its adjustment. The skirt section has a beautiful drape. When spinning it swooshes! The bottom sits almost at the base of my bum cheeks so I am covered just enough. The thong is lovely. It matches the babydoll and is comfortable. I am a creature of comfort. This set makes me feel comfortable yet sexy!

I’m really getting into green as a colour for lingerie and this item is a lovely forest green that flatters my skin tone perfectly. Its quite stretchy and soft and flows nicely over my tummy area but the major bonus points go to the decent sized triangle cups! Triangle cups are normally a real problem for my big boobs….not these ones though! There’s perfect coverage for my 34 GGs and the soft tie halterneck means I can have as much uplift as I need with the adjustable back strap pulling me in under the bust area.The slight ruching at the tops of the cups and the way it all cascades from the under bust area put me in mind of a Greek Goddess type of outfit. It is very sheer but the colour actually means you still get that teasing coverage. At 5 ft 4 this reaches my to just under my bum cheeks. I’m 5″1, size 12, 36c, with a mum tum I feel I have to hide and boobs that need a helping hand. This ticks those boxes right off the bat. The fabric is sheer, and light and floats around the midriff hiding (my) lumps and bumps. The cup was big enough to hold me securely, but big and stretchy enough for women with larger and smaller breasts alike. The back is adjustable as well as being elasticated, so you will find your perfect fit. The ties around the neck are sturdy, and once tied don’t come undone too easily. Simply Stunning
This sexy babydoll set is the most gorgeous shade of emerald green and it looks stunning, even against my very pale skin. it’s made from a slightly see through mesh, which feels very silky to the touch and it just drapes to perfection over the bits that you want to hide, yet looks amazing across the breast area, the silky triangles of mesh covered my 32E cup breasts to perfection, with a very sexy glimpse of nipple showing through. It ties at the back of the neck with a black satin ribbon, and I even found that there was plenty of support for my breasts, it does look stunning, and the matching thong is just perfect, see through and well made. I’m 5’3″ and a size 10 and it skims my bottom beautifully, it adjusts at the back using a sliding elasticated strap, which I found fitted me on the tightest adjustment, so plenty of scope to fit ladies with broader backs and bigger breasts, I also found that the neck ties stayed fastened, no slipping even though they’re silky. It does feel and look extremely sexy to wear, I have slept in it and it’s comfy too and it’s washed well, kept its shape and dried quickly. Beautiful colour and style but seemed a little 'unfinished'
I love babydolls because they don’t look odd on my 4ft 9 frame, this was no exception. I might not flash quite as much cheek wearing this as a more average height person would but that’s fine as it still did not look too big on me. The adjustable back (it has a bra strap style strap across the small of the back) helped with this and the adjustable halter neck tie meant my less petite than my frame breasts were supported. The colour is really pretty and strong and the material is soft and flattering, being see-throigh enough to make you feel sexy whilst still providing confidence soothing coverage and a tummy friendly cut. My one criticism of this item that the inside edge of the cups don’t seem ‘finished’ there is no edge other than looking like it has just been cut. Although this does keep it looking soft around the boobs to me it made it feel a little cheap and I wonder how it will hold up to waxing, even by hand as per instructions.

The bottom part is free flowing and looks amazing. Being 5.4 feet the bottom of the Babydoll just reached the bottom of my bum cheeks, a little cheek showing but not much. The set also comes with a matching sheer thong in the same color. I had no issues with the fit and comfort of the Thong, it is a sexy addition to the Babydoll. Or for your day to day thong if you prefer. Caution – One thing I would suggest is catching the sheer material either on something or a nick in your nails or anything like that can rip it. So be careful. However, we have not had this problem with this babydoll. My first thought upon seeing the Babydoll Set is how beautiful the colour was. I love wine coloured lingerie and find it elegant and sexy and a change up from black coloured lingerie. The material is so soft and silky. It is one size so the material is quite stretchy. I am a size 12 and it fit beautifully. I love the design of the Babydoll, from the little Lovehoney heart attached on the front, to the ribbon ties, the alternating strap at the back, where also the bodysuit drapes slightly and it’s very pretty. The material is sheer so adds a teasing element, perfect for the bedroom! I recommend this product!

Speedy next day in the unsuspecting brown box. This thing is sexy, I linger around size 14 depending on the shop, and this thing fits like a glove. It hangs at the perfect length (at finger tips with arms by my side). Its just the right opaque-ness to show off the assets and knickers. Sweeter than cherry wine
I don’t have a lot of lingerie to be honest, but I’m always tempted. What puts me off is how unhappy I am with my figure and quite frequent gender dysphoria (as an genderfluid AFAB person). I have to admit though, I caught myself on a femme day with this and when I wore it I felt unbelievably cute. The shape covers my tummy which I’m usually pretty unhappy with and my upper thighs which I don’t love either. I’m not much of a thing fan because I just find them unnecessarily uncomfortable and this set comes with one… But I found I didn’t mind overly? The material is light and soft but not too transparent and the colour is just so lovely. I don’t think it would rip toooo easily but it’s the type of fabric that would tear without much effort if you really tried. And immediately modelled it for my partner because I couldn’t stop grinning at how cute I felt. This will definitely be my new go-to for cute lingerie. Vision of loveliness
I ordered this for my lady, as she looks so fabulous in the equivalent Barely There body. The dark green complements her skintone. When she tried this on, she was able to tighten the halter neck to provide some support for her huge 38HH bust. The fabric is very thin, so her nipples were clearly visible and it was obvious she had decided not to wear the matching thong. What a vision of loveliness! The only downside was the result of her very heavy boobs; after a while she found the halter neck uncomfortable so took it off, leaving a red mark around her neck. That isn’t a fault of the design.

I have never felt so sexy in my life
I was so excited to buy this! I haven’t owned lingerie in such a long time since gaining weight but this made me feel amazing about my body! My partner couldn’t keep their hands off me! I’ve never worn a G string before and it was very comfortable (except the wedgies but I guess that’s what they do). The tie around the back of the neck started to hurt after a while (I have larger breasts and keeping those bad boys in place pulled on the ribbon). The fabric feels amazing and soft! Can’t wait to buy more!

Oh Babydoll
This babydoll arrived today, quickly and in a grey plastic bag so discrete as always. I couldn’t wait to try it on. The colour is exactly as it looks in the photo. The fabric is very soft and sheer. The halter neck tie makes it a perfect fit and it will comfortably fit a wide range of sizes. It sits nicely under the bust with the pretty bow although I’m not sure the LH metal Heart adds to the look, the bow alone is gorgeous that I may remove the heart to keep it simple. The skirt area covers my Mummy tummy which is what drew me to this. I felt really body comfortable looking at myself in this and I loved the way the straps when tied ruched and the nipples show through the sheer fabric just enough to hint at what’s underneath. The only negative which I noticed was the seam along the bust looks raggedly cut with scissors and not finished off, however this turns under, just inside creating the nice V line so you wouldn’t see it. I really love this and I’m definitely very pleased with this purchase at £12.50.

Beautiful looking babydoll set
Was so excited to get this set. It looks so sweet and pretty. I am 5’3 and size 24/26 so rather short and round. The downside for me was that I found it tight under bust and I wanted it to cover more length in my body. The included G-string is great, not one of those awful cheap ones that usually comes in sets like this. The G-string is a bit loose on me..go figure.

Pretty but poor fit for smaller sizes
The colour is a beautiful sheer green that is just see through enough. Very cute without feeling too revealing. And the black bow and black satin ribbon feels quite luxe. It comes with a thong which I personally found uncomfortable, though that might be because I don’t wear them. While the back is adjustable, unfortunately the tightest setting on me was still too loose and it hung down my back (I’m around 74cm underbust). I liked the colour too much to return it (you don’t often get a green!) so I just ended up cutting it to allow me to tighten it further. Also the material that holds your breasts is unfinished I guess because they didn’t want the sewing lines taking away from the look. It’s a good length, comes down to just cover my front bits and a peek of my bottom. Pretty much the same as the model (I’m about 5’4). I probably wouldn’t recommend this if you’re at the smaller end of the scale but there’s plenty to like about it if it fits you well!

I read the reviews and felt positive that even though I’m big busted the babydoll would still be a purchase to benefit my husband and I. Usually I find no ‘uplift’ is given and garments like these look awful. The babydoll is lovely in colour – a change to black and red! It feels nice to touch and the g-string was comfortable too. The tie neck was a god send without cutting the blood supply off to hold my large chest in the right place. The item helps to make you feel sexy. The husband enjoyed it too.

I put this babydoll on before my husband came home from work. It just happened I was bent over the couch cushions folding clothes when my husband walked in. These lingerie pieces are surprisingly stretchy. They literally looked like they’d fit a Barbie doll out of the package — but then they stretched over my size 12 curves with ease! I like how soft and non-binding they feel, as well as how *certain* body features can be seen through the mesh-like fabric. I don’t like how insubstantial and disposable the fabric seems.
