As soon as these little bottles of happiness arrived at Lovehoney I jumped at the chance to test and review. I absolutely adore the smell of this massage oil. It smells exactly like Haribo ‘Giant Strawbs’ sweets, and who doesn’t want to go home and sweet talk a nice massage from your partner? The entire time we used this oil, all I could think about was the amazing smell! The oil is perfect for massage with hands or combined with the ‘Lovehoney Handheld Body Massager’ It works perfectly and allows a smooth glide over your skin. This massage oil is now a favourite of ours, it beats our Lelo massage oil and is high up there with our other favourite from Earthly Body. I cannot recommend this enough, I love that it comes in a 30ml bottle. The perfect size for packing in a small overnight bag and would make a lovely gift with other romantic Lovehoney items.

We could not wait to try this strawberry massage oil! We came across a few good massage oils in the past but they haven’t been edible, so this one for us ticked all the boxes. On a first look of the product it is a very small, but 30ml is small in general. You have a twist cap and inside you have a stopper, which is great for when you are going away and wanting to put it in a bag – like we did. It gave us peace of mind knowing that there would be no leakage onto any of our other toys we took away. As with anything that has a smell to it, the first thing we wanted to do was have a good old whiff. I could not fault the smell at all, in our opinion smelt almost identical to Lovehoney strawberry flavoured lubricant. This was a bonus as we had previously bought this and liked the taste and smell of it. Really all you need is around a 2 pence piece size drop to get you started. Warm a little in your hands, so your partner doesn’t get the shock of feeling something really cold on them unless you like cold things 😉 Then away you go. Having massage oil makes giving and receiving massages a much more pleasurable experience. Especially with this oil as you are not limited to using your hands, you can also give a cheeky kiss here and there or even a lick as this oil is edible and tastes fantastic. After a while it did soak into my skin but the after feel of my back was so lovely. It didn’t feel greasy at all! My back felt like I had moisturizer on, and appeared to be silky smooth. All that we needed to do was get another little bit of oil warm it up and lay back and enjoy the massage. Also because of the small amount that you need to use at once, the bottle really is an ideal size. Ok it won’t last forever and you may need to quickly grab some more in the near future, but for the tiny price tag it really isn’t a bank breaker. I don’t know about anyone else but after having a good old massage I feel much more relaxed, and it certainly puts us in the mood for some extra fun. Being able to give extra kisses and not have a horrible taste in your mouth is so much more of a turn on for the both of us. 😉 For the price you really cannot go wrong – and this is in the 3 for £10 deal which is even better value for money. And we will certainly be buying this again when we need to top up. We recommend this strawberry massage oil to absolutely anyone who loves having a massage – or even anyone who wants to spice things up in the bedroom with a kinky massage. Truly a wonderful product by Lovehoney, a must have for every couple!! As with every order with Lovehoney you can be sure everything is sent out in a plain brown parcel, to conceal anything naughty you have inside. 10/10

Everyone should have a little quality bottle of edible massage oil to keep beside the bed and this one is an excellent one and frankly for a fiver you can’t go wrong. The massage oil comes in a little plastic bottle with standard Lovehoney labelling. It also has a nice red stopper inside so you can be confident of popping it in a bedside drawer or a bag for a night away without worry of it leaking. First thing had to be a sniff and a quick taste. The scent is strong and very much reminiscent of strawberry flavoured sweets. It was slightly sickly sweet smelling but thankfully the taste was not like that, it’s very subtle and I don’t think anyone would have a problem with it; it also doesn’t leave your mouth feeling oily. I have tried a couple of other massage oils and candles in the past. I haven’t found a candle I especially like yet as so far they all leave me feeling a bit waxy afterwards but my favourite oil has become the Earthly Body Massage Oil which I adore and have recommended to others (stocked by Lovehoney). This Lovehoney Kissable Massage Oil contains extremely similar ingredients to the Earthly Body Oil which is great as they are of a very high quality and I think sensitive skin friendly. The oil feels fantastic. It’s long-lasting, but non-greasy and slides wonderfully over the skin inviting a very sensual all over massage. Afterwards, my skin felt nourished and soft. You don’t need very much oil at a time, a little goes a very long way. A small amount rubbed onto your hands will easily cover your partner’s back and shoulders and the bottle is easy to open and close if you need a little more for elsewhere. I love that the oil is edible as it really does entice you (or your partner) to get your tongue involved in the massage. My partner is not quite as keen as me but this is not a reflection on this oil he just doesn’t like the feeling left by any massage oil. I love this oil and it leaves me feeling great. I definitely recommend it but personally slightly prefer the scent left from the cherry version.

At first the smell was divine, just like strawberries believe it or not. It was easy enough to use except controlling the amount that poured from the bottle (I suppose practice will help with that) it flowed beautifully over her skin making the whole process easy and relaxing for us both.

I’ve had massages before, but never with oil… and boy I’ve been missing out! I thought the smell was absolutely lovely, not for those who do not like strawberry sweets but I wouldn’t say its sickly. When my partner poured this onto my skin I was in heaven. He didn’t need much at all but it covered my whole back and bum with less than a quarter of the bottle. The back massage was incredible, and it was definitely through the help of him being able to glide freely across my skin (rather than the awkward dry rubbing of normal massages). Admittedly, he didn’t spend too long on my back because when you’re covered in oil and the lights are dimmed… you look irresistible. If you’re unsure on whether to buy this, seriously just go for it! It smells lovely, its leaves absolutely no stickiness behind and it drives you and your partner wild.

I got this in the 3/$20 deal because I’d loved the massage candle in the same scent so much. This did not disappoint! The one think I didn’t like about the candle was that if it got in your mouth it tasted a bit awful. Something that smells that good shouldn’t make you make a face after accidentally tasting it. This product, however, was different. It smells amazing, just like the candle, which I loved, and goes on super smooth. A little bit will go a long way, and it lasts for a long time. Plus, I woke up the next day and my skin still felt smooth and soft. It tastes almost exactly like it smells and is a great alternative to anyone interested in massage oils but doesn’t quite want to try out something too expensive and isn’t sure about a massage candle.

Have had this for a while having ordered with other items. Arrived, as usual, promptly and discreetly packaged. OH loves relaxing, sensual massages so have moved on from more traditional oils to some with more fragrance. Certainly has the aroma of strawberry, not overpowering with a subtle taste. We place bottle in warm water for a few minutes prior to use. This seems to release the aroma. Drizzle some on the shoulders and down the spine to the buttocks then massage away. This oil is easily absorbed and is not messy. We always use the hot stones afterwards, also purchased from Lovehoney, placed on the massaged areas then covered with a warm towel. Leaves my OH relaxed and peaceful. Certainly a worthwhile purchase.

Bought this product as the wife loves me giving her massages. We have tried many different ones in the past but I must say that this is brilliant. The oil itself actually smells and tastes like strawberries. Unlike others we have tried. Once on the skin, the oil is smooth and silky in texture and after it has been massaged in it doesn’t leave the skin sticky like others have, that way after a nice massage you can cuddle up next to each other without having to have a shower. Me and my financee are new to massaging each other despite being together for some years. I always assumed I wouldn’t know how to give a massage. Having tried this, she loved it! I’m sure I have nowhere near the skills of a trained masseuse, but you don’t need it to be effective. I tried squeezing the bottle and some oil came out from the red cap. But I perhaps squeezed too hard the next time and the whole cap came out and spilled almost all the oil. Probably my fault, but be careful with that. If I had one criticism it would be the size of the bottle for the price. A little does go a fairly long way, but it won’t last long if you are giving a full body massage.

I bought this oil to use with a massager and a few other items I’d bought to treat my husband. It was packed in an unmarked cardboard box which I appreciated! It’s a small bottle but the oil does seem to go a long way. It smells gorgeous, but there is very little taste to speak of. As it is rubbed into the skin, it warms up very quickly which is a wonderful feeling when you’re being massaged. Later, the oil disappeared into the skin very well so it didn’t ruin the bedding! My only real criticism is that the bottle neck is wide open so it pours out very quickly – a dropper plug would be very useful so that the right amount can be squeezed out. It did get knocked over (caught in the nick of time) so that plug could avoid disastrous accidents. I bought this as part of the 3 for £10 deal but at £4.99 a bottle for 30ml, I probably wouldn’t buy it on its own.

I did get this for me and my BoyF to use… But he isn’t keen on oils and I love it so much I just keep it by my bedside for me when I’ve had a long bath! Unfortunate it doesn’t taste of much, only faint strawberry but the smell is stronger it smells divine! I’m a big fan of strawberry scented items. It doesn’t leave yellowy residue on sheets or towels which is a common problem with oils. The bottle is a bit of a problem because once your fingers are oily you can’t open the bottle again because the cap is so small. Plus if you knocked it over it would spill everywhere! Would be better with a dropper lid! However, that’s only a minor detail. Overall the product itself is very nice on sensitive skin like mine but the price isn’t super good for how much you get.

This massage oil has a gorgeous smell and taste and I absolutely love it. However, it definitely doesn’t taste or smell “natural” to me – so if you don’t like artificial flavours, don’t expect this to taste like a real, fresh strawberry. It smells and tastes more like strawberry flavoured sweets. The packaging is also lovely. This oil is sugar free and so safe to use internally. I thought at first Lovehoney didn’t include an ingredients list but found it after some scrolling. The product contains almond oil, which may be something to keep in mind if you have a nut allergy. The bottle was very small, but if you watch the product video this shouldn’t come as a surprise, and is fair enough considering the great price. You only need a small amount anyway. It is VERY easy to spill though, so be sure to close it properly before getting frisky, which was my mistake! Some sort of cap where only a few drops can come out at a time would be a much better design, but as long as you’re careful there shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

It has a screw top lid with a stopper that can be tricky to get on and off especially with oily hands. You don’t need to apply a lot of it because it goes a long way. We also used it along with the lovehoney oh! Sensual body massager which felt amazing. This is a great for the foreplay toolkit! It smells amazing and has a lovely texture-not sticky like some of the other flavoured products I have. It begins quite slick but quickly sinks in to the skin-you do need a fair amount to get a decent massage going because of this but myself and my OH tend to have drier skin so this may be why! The only downside is that the top is open so it has the potential to come out very quickly and you have to be careful when pouring it out. I would personally prefer a pump dispenser or a squeeze bottle to allow you to quickly discard and get on with the action (instead of having to screw the top back on whilst juggling a handful of oil!).

This little bottle was bought on a whim to add a little extra gift to a birthday bundle for my partner. When he opened it he was excited to oil us both up and enjoy the taste as we both licked each other up. Unfortunately both points were slightly disappointing. The flavour was very bland, to the point it would’ve been better to have an unflavoured oil as it was slightly nauseating to the both of us. The size of the bottle was also an issue, once you have oily hands such a tiny cap is very finicky to undo to pour more! Neither of us are particularly large people but this oil hardly covered 2 back massages! On the whole it’s not a bad product, but for the price you may be better off with a bottle of baby oil or other essential oil for a nice scent 🙂

Maybe it’s just because my OH has big powerful hands but this oil really helped get a deep massage and get the knots out of my back. A little goes a long way but feels amazing when someone is working on that tension. And definately led to more in the bedroom. The smell and taste however are not so good. The smell is really sweet and sickly and the taste is really oilly and not so appealing.

I was super, super excited for this to arrive and I even managed to get home from work early so I could open it! I couldn’t wait for my OH, so I tried a little bit on my arm to see what the consistency, smell and flavour was like. I was disappointed at the smell and taste – it wasn’t very appealing. Firstly, the smell is good initially. I thought that as the oil started to warm up with friction, it started to smell a bit plastic. It wasn’t as oily as I expected, and we needed quite a bit of it to get a decent amount of slipperiness (if that’s a word?). Due to this, I reckon that we’ll probably get through it quite quickly, and therefore would have probably preferred a bigger bottle of it.

This edible flavour massage oil is great. It’s not sticky at all and doesn’t dry up quickly- it’s long lasting. My boyfriend and I use this massage oil during foreplay a lot and even sometimes use it for a sexy oily skin look during sex. In terms of the edibility I wouldn’t say it tastes of strawberry flavour, it’s quite tasteless.

I don’t think I’ll ever have enough of this product. Love love love it. The smell isn’t as great as the vanilla or cherry one but it glides on so well and don’t need too much of it all. Great price and easy to transport bottle! What more could you want! Actually the only thing I would change would be the lid as far too often it gets knocked over and could use a slow pour lid! Amazing product though.

My partner wanted to try this when she was being massaged so we bought it. The bottle is really small but a small amount does go quite a long way when you’re rubbing it into skin. The liquid smells strongly of strawberries though it tastes of nothing really so that was a disappointment.

Unlike other massage oils we’ve tried, this one left my skin feeling really soft and warm without being too sticky. Due to the consistency not being too runny, it is really easy to apply to the skin (once warmed in hands) which helped us to relax and set the mood. No skin irritation was experienced during or after use and the product is easily washed off.
