Beautiful toy but not quite explosive as I’d like
This wand is so lovely to look at and hold, I’m really into aesthetically pleasing toys and this fits perfectly in my collection. It’s soft, smooth silicone which feels amazing against the skin and it’s actually one of my- if not the most comfortable toy to use and hold thanks to the curved handle. So I always start on the first, long continuous patterns as that’s what gets me going and then after I’ve ‘played’ enough I’ll flick through the patterns and see if they can make me cum. It started off on the lowest power and I thought it lacked power however after a few clicks of the + sign I found all the power I needed and it didn’t even need to reach the highest setting- the power was enough on the 3rd or 4th setting for me. I absolutely love the curved handle and found it the right length to reach my clit and around the opening of my vagina for teasing. It has strong, powerful vibrations and it made me climax but it did take longer than I’m used to and I didn’t have the explosive orgasm I get with other toys.I think it’s because I prefer more of a rumbly toy whereas this wand is definitely buzzy and also I found the vibrations make it quite a noisy toy. It definitely holds power though, after I came the first time, I’ve used it daily since and increased the power for the different patterns but find them too strong! Love from a Different Angle
Female Perspective: Firstly – in an entirely looks based point in this review, I adore the colour. Most vibrators seem to come in pink or black with not many colour options, so unpacking this to see the lovely blue was actually a really pleasant surprise! Onto the more important stuff now. The initial design of this vibrator (it has a curve) caught me a bit by surprise, but my goodness doesn’t it add something to the party. We experimented with this in a few different positions and found that the curve in this vibrator is PERFECT for self pleasuring whilst your partner takes you from behind. It’s curved design means it sits comfortably against your clit without digging the end into the mattress or trying to get your wrist at a certain angle to hold it right. So the Baby Blue Mon Ami wand turns out to be a bit of a superstar multifunction essential for the drawer beside your bed.First up it comes in a lovely box and let’s face it, everyone loves a lovely box. It does take a while to charge properly out of the lovely box but that’s just good practice for rechargeable batteries. The charge lasts a good long time, you’ll probably get a few sessions out of it. Unless you use it for other things as well, but we’ll get to that later. It’s a good size, fits comfortably in the hand, and is easy to control. The on button seems to take an age to start things up but that’s a minor inconvenience. We love the colour, it is baby blue, properly baby blue and the chrome detail is a nice touch.Operation is the standard, on/off, up, down and pattern change. The Vibe patterns are good, they seem to be a bit different from the usual which was a nice surprise. It feels great on the skin (with lube obvs), no sharp bits or nippy seams. the vibrations are strong and pretty deep, which again was a surprise for a rechargeable device. The shape is the best feature, that and it being waterproof, you need both to really enjoy it. Just think about that, think out of the box about it (and in the box too). Mon Ami - “My Friend” Indeed!
The deep rumbles from this wand feel incredible on aching muscles and even better between my legs. Opening this wand up was a treat. The packaging has really been stepped up compared to other lovehoney branded products; it really gives the product a more luxurious look. The feel is equally as elegant – the smooth, silky feel of the wand is really welcoming and doesn’t feel cold against your skin. Having owned previous wands that felt heavy and made play a chore this is a joy to hold its feels really light and well contoured. A great little wand
This is a great little wand. It comes in a nice box, would look decent as a gift. It is a striking blue that pops a bit more in person than in pictures. It comes with a littles instruction book and cable (it’s easy enough to figure out how it works without looking at the instructions if you are really eager. It’s 3 button operation is on/off and switch patterns on the middle with a plus and minus button for increasing or decreasing power.)This feels really nice in the hand, silky smooth and the shape is really ergonomic. There is some flex at the neck to make it smooth to apply increased pressure as needed.The cable inserts easily for charging and charging doesn’t seem to take that long. It lasted a little over an hour for us most uses but that is likely to vary based on the pattern or speed. If you want a really long edging session wired is always best to avoid running out of power at a key moment, but this will last long enough for most purposes.I’ve used this with my OH (female) and myself (male), and it easily did the job for us both. We would say the vibrations are kind of a thrum, not overly harsh and buzzy but not that deep rumble either, somewhere in between. It could probably do with maybe one stronger vibration but that is the OH being greedy. It is reasonably discreet for those who need to consider privacy, someone right outside a quite room would pick it up, but a couple of walls distance or some low(ish) music would cover it well.We didn’t need any lube with this, the smooth coating and natural lubricants proving effective enough. Clean up was simple with it being waterproof and able to wash off simply.It is small enough to use on all parts and all positions, we were both able to use it on ourselves or each other while at the same time giving manual or oral stimulation directly. This arrived as a surprise, I was so happy to add to my Mon Ami collection!It has the same slide out box with a foam insert that makes for a good storage box.Put it straight on to charge and then forgot about it, can you believe that?! First thing you notice is the gorgeous blue colour, its not the standard sex toy colours and I really like that about it. Its fully covered in silky smooth silcone with the self healing charging point at the very bottom it the handle. There are 3 buttons, up, power on and off/pattern and down. The size gives it a non threatening look, it comes in it 9″ in length and the flexible head is a nice circumference size at 5.25″. There are 7 patterns and 5 intensity levels. You have to do the necessary test of the patterns and see if any of them are worth taking for a spin. 9 times out of 10 I will want a constant pattern, I’m not a fan of alternate patterns but when I accidentally hit the wrong button I’ve surprised myself by not hating them. Hitting the wrong button happens a fair bit for me, and its really annoying but when you change the intensity that carries over when you change the pattern, I like this. Today I thought I was changing the pattern and really I was changing the intensity and then when I tried to drop the intensity, I was changing the pattern. It did show me that even though I think I don’t like patterns, my body does or maybe the orgasm was a reward for good service ;)Patterns have definitely improved and on this toy the patterns feel rumbly. The constant pattern is inbetween a buzz and a rumble, I didn’t think that I’d like it but it surprised me. The higher the intensity, the more buzz it has. The jump between each intensity is noticeable. The lowest intensity is my happy place with a push of the up button once if I really need the encouragement. Its as noisy as most wands, the higher the intensity the high the noise. I’m still louder than it. A bit of music on and you’ll disguise all signs of it. Since trying my very first wand in 2015 I’ve come to know what I’m looking for in a wand. Up to this point, my Doxy 3 Die Cast has been my go-to wand; owing to it’s rather extreme power settings – so when I first received my little friend here, I was not sure what to expect. From the moment you open the box, the design of the toy stands out. The splash of soft colour makes for an appealing toy. The curved design to the handle makes for much more comfortable use. The silicone coating that gives the toy its submersible waterproof rating is soft to the touch and doesn’t grip or pull in the slightest.Honestly, I cannot fault the design of this toy in the slightest. Use:Now for the raunchy part that makes a toy a toy – how good is this toy to use? For me – absolutely! Personally, I love a wand with a strong rumble over a buzz. Lovehoney have done it again.. I have a new favourite toy. I have a few wands but the Mon Ami wand is an absolute dream, comprising of all my favourite qualities: It’s rechargeable. There are no leads getting in the way and no need to reach for the batteries. The charging cable is provided and all you need is a USB plug. The self-healing silicone even brings me a little bit of pleasure because it just adds to the flawless finish of the toy and is super subtle.There is a speed and a pattern to suit my mood. With 5 different speeds, ranging from a slower rumble to an intense buzz, and 7 different patterns, from a steady continuous vibration to waves upon waves, there’s plenty of variety to choose from. I personally enjoy a steady rumble with medium intensity, although I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t experimented with every single variation. With each intensity the sound increases. I wouldn’t call it quiet, but I think you’d get away with playing in the next room without being heard.It’s easy to use. There are 3 buttons: power/change pattern, increase intensity, decrease intensity. That’s it. Even in the throes of passion with the lights off, the 3 buttons are easily discoverable and simple enough to use without confusion. The toy fits very comfortably in my hand and there’s enough length for you to grip on to without your hand getting in the way.The Mon Ami wand is attractive. The baby blue is beautiful. You need to use some good quality water based lube before using it as silicone does tend to ‘drag’ on the skin if there is no ‘slip’ so to speak. The wand itself looks really cute. Before using the wand, I plugged it in to charge for approx. 120 minutes (which gives you approx. 60 minutes playtime). The charging socket is discretely hidden at the base of the wand – just line up the charging jack to the centre of the little circle and push through the silicone until the jack clicks into place. When then the jack is removed, the silicone ‘self seals’ keeping the toy watertight. Whilst charging the power button flashes, and when the wand is fully charged the light is a constant glow.To get started, just hold down the power button for approx. 2 seconds. It has 5 continuous vibration modes and 7 various patterns. The head is small and petite, but still a good size to play with. and is also very flexible, which made it feel as though it moved with me. The vibrations are also mostly localised within the head of the wand, which means that your hand does not go numb during use. Being waterproof means that it is very easy to clean and can also be used in the bath or shower.For me personally I found the vibrations were more buzzy, especially on the higher settings rather than rumbly which I would have preferred. The wand is not the quietest one we have tried but it isn’t the loudest either. Also, the wand has a very powerful chemical smell which did soften slightly once washed but it is still quite noticeable. Overall, the Mon Ami Wand is a cute little wand that is fairly powerful and lightweight, but unfortunately didn’t work for me, although I really do love the powder blue colour which is very different.

Au revoir mains powered wand, the Mon ami body wand is taking your spot in my bed side draw. I have been extremely loyal to my Lovehoney mains powered wand for many years and have currently only owned just the one but I knew it was time I adventure out and see what else is out there. Oh boy and did I hit the jacket pot from the moment this extremely satisfying wand arrived at my door. The toy arrived in a pull out box with all you need to know about the toy written on the outside of it. When you slide it from the box your greeted with the toy in a clear window. The mon ami wand is a beautiful pastel blue colour with a silver tear drop on, which is well needed to get a good grip. The wand is small and slender with a good curve to it. I didn’t realise how much of a difference a wand with a curve makes untill using one. No more twisting your arm or hands to get that perfect position, with a curve it fitted very nicely up my pelvis area during intercourse, not causing any discomfort to me or my partner and it never got in our way. This is the first time I have ever been able to use a wand during intercourse and it brought a whole new sensation during sex. I’ve never been a huge fan of mini wands, as I generally need either pinpoint stimulation or extremely strong vibration, the type only found in mains powered toys. However, I have found myself really enjoying using this one.The wand itself feels really nice to use; it is just so easy to hold and the silky smooth silicone feels as nice in my hand as it does against more sensitive areas. I’ve tried a few wands over time but never found one that I loved, until now. To start, I really love the design. The colour is a really pretty blue, different to the usual colours brands tend to choose. It feels soft and smooth, which is great. It’s powerful but not too bulky, that’s the winning thing for me. It doesn’t get in the way when using it with a partner, its cordless and it has a flexible head. All this allows for more freedom to use in whichever position you want. I really do find it very comfortable to use.It has very simple controls too. There’s the middle button which is on/off and circles through the different patterns. Then there are plus and minus buttons. There a 5 different speeds for constant vibration and 7 different patterns. Something that’s not standard on other toys, you can increase the intensity on the patterns. I love this as that tends to be the reason I choose contant vibrate – the ability increase the power. Now that I can do this with the patterns, I will definitely mix it up more. The selection of patterns is good too.It is always a plus when any toy is waterproof, great to use in the bath/shower but also makes it super easy to clean. The wand arrived in the usual discreet outer packaging box as the products always do. Our initial thoughts were that this toy looked and felt premium, from the build quality, materials and even down to the packaging. There’s a good selection of patterns but my partner prefers the constant on mode while slowly building up the speed but the other modes are fun to play around with during foreplay. The vibrations are strong but the device is significantly quieter than our mains powered LoveHoney wand so it’s a good option when we have to be a little discreet. The orgasms from this thing are intense and my partner can get there as quickly as using the mains wand although the LoveHoney classic wand seems to pack a bit more of a punch. With it being rechargeable, having a small form factor and well designed handle it’s comfortable and easy to hold and great for using in a lot of different positions. This is our go to toy now, the wand’s always been a tried and trusted friend in our collection but this being wire free and still nearly as powerful as the classic wand is a game changer. Pleasing wand vibe
As our first go at using a wand this is a fab bit of kit. We’ve got a fair few vibrating toys but this is probably the most stimulating of them all, great for clitoral (and other) stimulation. It has a rather luxurious feel and is well balanced so easy to hold as you get on with your play. We only own one of Lovehoney’s mini wands which is impressive, but I was excited to see what something larger would be like. First impressions were it’s much larger and easier to hold, the colour is stunning, and the silicone seems to be even better quality.Tried it on OH as a back massager for 10mins first which brought some incredible moans like we were in the bedroom, especially as I slowly clicked up through the speed settings to full power. The buttons are very easy compared to the other wand we own, plus you can scroll up and down through the speeds in case you go too far, too quickly unlike our other wand. Wow, this wand is fabulous! It came quickly and discreetly as ever with LH. The box isn’t over sized and it’s sturdy enough for ongoing storage although a storage bag would be nice but isn’t included. The light blue colour is super pretty and the toy feels so smooth and luxurious. The three buttons protrude just enough for easy location by touch but not enough to distract from the smoothness of it or the look.It’s USB rechargeable which means no wires to get in your way during use but despite this it is still exceedingly powerful on the higher settings. The resealable silicone charging point means extra smoothness for the wand but also that it’s waterproof. I’ve loved using it in the shower and the bath and it’s great not to have to worry about lube accidentally clogging charging points or having to be super careful when cleaning. Out of the box I charged it overnight to ensure best battery life and it saw me and my man through several orgasms before I thought I’d better charge it again, but it still hadn’t run out. The operation is simple. Three buttons, one increases intensity, one decreases and the middle one turns it on and off with a long press and changes the pattern with a short press. Thank you Lovehoney for the oppertunity to test and give an honest review of this wand.Apon opening the delivery box we we greeted with a beautiful presentation boxwith the lovely blue coloured Lovehoney mon ami Silicone Body Wand Massager contained inside in a nice foam insert. I think all of the Mon Ami toys must come this way as this box was identical to the box our Mon Ami Rose came in. It does make these toys look high end.first of all we charged the batteries fully. The magnetic charging lead is quite strong and doesn’t come off easily unlike some of the other leads we have for other toys. The wand must have come with a fair charge in it as it only took 30mins to reach its fully charged state.The first thing we did was to try it as a massager. It worked very well mom MrsFMS’s back and shoulders. The vibrations this provides vary from what I would describe as gentle and rumbly on level 1 to intense and somewhat buzzy on the highest level 4. After about 45min massage MrsFms was left with a tingle which lasted quite some time which in itself was very pleasant.After another charge to make sure there was enough battery for the main event we started using it on the more intimate areas. I can safetly say that this was “Buzzing Amazing”.We coated the head of the wand with some waterbased lube and started on MrsFMS’s inner thighs, we worked the wand up to her clit and within minutes she was wriggling and squirming in the throws of her first orgasm. This is a really good sized wand, again the other one I used was much bigger so this one was much easier to use, both solo and with a partner. The silicone is silky to the touch, my favorite kind. The handle is brilliantly ergonomic as well. The buttons are so nice too, I can go back a setting and not have to cycle through them all! There is a separate button for the patterns and I don’t like patterns so I can totally avoid them. The vibrations themselves are a 7/10, maybe a 7.5/10. They’re not overly buzzy but not quite as rumbly as what I usually prefer, but it still does everything I need it to. The battery lasts long too! I prefer magnetic charging but I’ve had no issues with the charging port. I love this wand, I wish it were rumblier but that does not stop me from using it regularly. I recommend!

Every vibrator I have bought has broken – including one from lovehoney. Often they break after a year or sometimes they do not last a year. I do not know whether this will similarly break before you have gotten your money’s worth so I am not giving higher than three stars for value for money and I am not going above four stars for the overall rating. The design is very good. The material feels very soft. The head is not too small or too big. The opening speed may be a little weak but the top speeds are a good level. The very top speed is neither too weak nor too strong (meaning it doesn’t take that long to orgasm and if you use it for long time you won’t feel raw after using it unlike other ones I have had). It is surprisingly quiet – it is not truly quiet but it is much quieter than other vibrators with a decent level of power that I have had. It is fairly comfortable to hold it (sometimes the only way you can hold a vibrator involves your wrist going into an uncomfortable position but this isn’t one of those cases). The buttons make it easy to use. I think it a necessity for there to be two buttons for speed/power (one increasing and one decreasing) and this does have separate buttons for speed/power. One I recently bought from Ann summers drove me insane as it was unbelievably weak, only had one button for changing speed, I always forgot how many different speeds it had as the top speed still felt weaker than the starting speed on many vibrators then when trying to get it faster I wound up making it even weaker.
