Lovehoney Ignite Vibrating Love egg comes in well designed peek a boo box just teasing the presents of a new loved up toy. With so much information on the box and inside it makes this toy so easy to open and play with instantly. This toy is advertised as a beginner friendly toy (which I’m far from) it will happily bring pleasure to the most experienced of us, as well as being a great first love egg. The purple and sliver waterproof bundle of love nestle comfortably in palm of hand. Sexy and silky to touch with sliver plated end, With a very simply on and off button to the outer end along with the charging point. The charging wire is easy to insert and this charge very quickly, All of the 17 patterns and 3 speeds are control with this same button. With a bit of lube and with some me time i was keen to try out all the 17 different patterns, I must say this is easy to use when in place. Having gave this a go, I did love some of the patterns and definitely favourited a couple. Being alone I could easy hear the vibrations this didn’t put me off, I found the stronger of the vibes most enjoyable. After a lengthy play this new buddy it still had lots of stamina left for seconds! This little egg felt comfortable inside, made me climax and I felt very satisfied and happy. Very easy to clean due to being waterproof this can be thoroughly washed with no worries. Ignite Egg
This toy is presented in a very friendly and welcoming packaging, designed for those new to toys I can say it definitely hots the mark in that regard. It comes with a “discreet” storage bag which I appreciate although it does have a lovehoney label stitched on the side so these does minimise it’s stealthiness somewhat. USB rechargeable, which is easy and straightforward, not following what seems to be an unfortunate common tread where you have to unscrew and remove a piece so I appreciate that. As for the actual use and functionality of the toy I was a little disappointed with only 3 speeds but 17 patterns most of it was lost on me as I don’t get much pleasure from patterns. The first level was nice a rumbly if a little weak, but unfortunately as the intensity increased the vibrations increased in buzziness. The toy itself is made of lovely silicone that glides with the help of water based lube, insertion was no problem but the tail? Cord? Proved a little short so could be longer, especially for a plus size user. All in all not a bad toy for a first time user but for the price the vibration quality could be better.

A toy box must-have
My usually love egg is a remote controlled one that myself and my boyfriend use together so it was good to use one just for me! Looks wise, I must say the love egg reminds me of an eye ball socket but I soon forgot how it looks when I started using it. I find this toy very easy to use. the rechargeable cable inserts easily into the egg which is handy. I enjoyed playing about with this and held it against my clit as well as enjoying it internally. Cute, newbie-friendly egg
I wouldn’t usually mention the packaging, but the thoughtful details on the box like the magnetic closing and window were a really nice touch and definitely gave a little extra something when unwrapping! This is my first egg and while researching I was a little concerned about the size of this type of toy. The actual egg part of the Lovehoney Ignite egg was smaller than I expected and not intimidating at all, so this was a relief. As someone not used to penetration or using internal toys it initially took a few tries to insert, but after playing with it a bit and some lube it popped right in. The subsequent times have been much easier, so for anyone new to internal toys I’d say relax and keep trying. Don’t pressure yourself and you’ll get there. I’m quite aware of the noise, but on the lowest setting it’s pretty quiet and provides a nice low rumbly vibration. I don’t think I would be confident to wear it out or in company though. The two higher speed settings are a little too buzzy for me personally. There are a lot of patterns and after trying them all a couple of times, I think I’d only use 2 or 3 at most. Everybody is different though, so it’s nice to have the options! Turning the egg off will reset the pattern loop so that it starts again from the beginning of the speed/pattern settings. This is fine for me as I prefer the first setting, but something to bear in mind if your favourite is lower down the list! There is just one button to turn the egg on and off and to cycle through the settings. It’s very easy to use in a variety of positions – I found lying on your front and stimulating your clit at the same time works really well with this toy, as the button is in easy reach. The charge lasts for a good amount of time – I found one charge lasted about 90-100 minutes. This is good if you want to pop it in and let the vibrations get you worked up while you do something else, especially as shifting positions while sitting or lounging gives some nice sensations to enjoy. The cord is very comfortable and can be positioned so it gives some clit stimulation too. While I haven’t been able to orgasm from using the egg alone, I really enjoy using it as a tease and love the way it feels. Overall I think this egg is really good to help to slow things down and not focus on a quick orgasm.

Poor battery life

Fun... but broke in less than a year
Okay first of all, this toy is easy to use and clean. Battery charge is great too and the vibrating strength is awesome. BUT! It is quite noisy (God I have flatmates) and it’s not very durable. I only used it a handful of times and it’s a RIP. Fun while it last I guess!
