Plain not Flirty
I was sent this product to review by Lovehoney. I’ll be honest, the name sounds better than this actually is and I was a little disappointed. There are positives about this g-string of course. The straps at the side (actually, all of the knickers) are made of very comfy material with minimal stratchy stitches (NO itches or digging-in were experienced). The lace also has a nice subtle flowery design, which isn’t old-fashioned. The sizing is also perfect (I am an 8-10 S/M). However, that is where the joy ends for me personally. My main gripe is the shaping of the knickers. The string at the back just doesn’t flatter me and makes my bottom look a bit flat and droopy – a g-string I have with a little triangle of material where the strings meet looks sooo much nicer than this thing with straight strings. Also, I feel the front is too revealing – it is like one of those high-rise leotards that are a bit too V-shaped. So, unless you have a bottom like a shelf and are perfectly groomed at all times, these are a tad unflattering. Finally, I feel they are a bit plain. It seems to lack SOMETHING. Maybe if the strings were a little frilly, or there was a bow at the back above your bum, or on the front, it would indeed look “flirty” and less flat and frumpy. Quite frankly, there are better g-strings you could spend your money on.

Certainly flirty, better than I thought
This Lovehoney Flirty black lace g-string while the sort of style i’d tend to steer clear of was better than the lace ‘flirty’ knickers i tried. As is standard with Lovehoney lingerie they arrive in a cellophane wrapper. With swing tag on the garment They are slightly different to the G-strings i’m used to in the fact that the waist and g-string are joined together by a small plastic ring at the rear. The floral lace panel at the front has a logo tab & a pocketed cotton gusset if you wanted to you could slip a small slim bullet such as the Rocks Off RO-80mm in there for some discreet hands free fun. The build quality is much better than the lace knickers i couldn’t find a single problem with them. The sizing is also a little different to some of Lovehoney’s other g-strings with the small/medium fitting up to a 10 and medium/large a 12-14. Being between the two sizes i decided to go for the larger. For fit it was actually pretty good plenty of stretch in it to fit up to a 14. I reckon i may have been able to get away with the smaller size. Surprisingly the string bit was relatively comfortable. About comfortable as a g-string could be. I didn’t feel the need to dig it out constantly. Could be down to the fact it was a touch long/big. If you don’t shave or wax and go completely bare it will be visible under the lace. Since this g-string is black it’s not going to stick out like a sore thumb. Overall i was pleasantly surprised at how good this g-string was and certainly found it flirty

Lovehoney Flirty Red Lace G-String
The red is rather pleasant to the eye, and the front of the thong has a nice red lace finish. Yet this garment includes a strange design choice, the items label is situated at the front of the garment and clearly visible through the lace finish, therefore spoiling the thongs impact some what. The string element does not full into the cheap category, however; neither does it match a luxury range. Comfort wise, I can not criticise this thong, it did not dig in, or rub in the wrong places. So overall, this thong has a flirty element as stated in the items title, shame the label is located in such a predominate area.

Sexy lace
These come packaged simply in a small seethrough bag with the lovehoney tag on it with Flirty written on it. The red lace is at the front and the string part joins at the back with a tiny plastic ring. It is well made with no loose stitching and the lace is soft and comfortable. I’m a 12-14 and I got the large so they are a little big on me but I would rather that than they be too small. I could comfortably wear these for a long time without any chafing or uncomfortableness. However I do have to admit the lace did make my hair down there a little itchy at times! Overall a nice little g-string, would like to see some other colours produced. I can’t comment on the value as this isn’t live yet but I’m sure the price will reflect on the product itself.

Beautiful Black, Lovely Lace
After testing the Lovehoney Flirty Boyshort style and being really impressed with them I wanted to try a different style from the Lovehoney Flirty range. I went for the G-string in Black and again was pleasantly surprised. I picked a size S/M and I am a UK 8-10 and it fitted perfectly. As I mentioned in my other review all my current underwear is Victoria’s Secret and this feels just as comfortable. The smooth stretchy straps allow for it to cling to your body but not too tightly that it causes a dent in your figure. The material used is of great quality and feels wonderful against your skin for long wear. These G-strings are so comfortable I wore mine all day under my jeans, out shopping and almost forgot I was wearing any underwear at all. I have worn other G-strings which after a short while caused such discomfort all I wanted to do was change my underwear to something else. I am really impressed with the Flirty G-string style and will be buying more colours available at Lovehoney. The only issue I had with this pair was a couple of loose threads which were easily snipped off with scissors and the issue was resolved. The Flirty range is supposed to be fun, flirty yet comfortable enough for all day wear and also be practical i.e not crotchless – this is totally on point and sums up this gstring entirely. I love the plain detail at the back with the small ring, that holds the garment together. This causes the least visibility when wearing a a tight fitted dress/skirt. I wouldn’t hesitate to wear this thong anytime/anywhere as it still looks sexy enough if anyone saw you in it you wouldn’t be embarrassed like you may be if you had your usual ‘comfy’s’ on. It’s not over the top sexy that you would wear it for a planned sexy night in with your partner, but it still looks great teamed with a black bra for every-day wear. Which could be a nice surprise for your partner when you undress after a long day! Over all another great Lovehoney own brand product and I can’t wait to add more to my collection. Thank you Lovehoney for making a great affordable product which beats the comfort of some high street stores and their lingerie offers.

Gorgeous G-string
I have tried Lovehoney lingerie before and been impressed by the look and quality, so when I got the chance to try the Flirty Black Lace G-String I jumped at it. The G-string arrived in a simple cellophane packet, so if you are looking to give it as a gift, it might be worth buying a gift bag or similar. As the underwear was just for me, this wasn’t an issue. Out of the packet, the G-string looked very sexy and I couldn’t wait to try it on. As with any G-string, you don’t get a lot of material for your money, but what you do get looks great and well-stitched. The waistband is very thin, reducing any unwanted VPL under your clothes, and nicely stretchy, meaning that it doesn’t dig in to the skin or cause unsightly red marks. As a size guide, I found the M/L a perfect fit on my size 12 frame, but I think anyone bigger than a small 14 might need a larger size. The black lace panel on the front is soft and not at all scratchy like some lace can be and overall, the look is very enticing. The fabric also stretches well and moves with your body, meaning that the G-string is extremely comfortable to wear and suitable as an everyday item rather than something special just for the bedroom. My only niggle, and it’s a small one, is that the G-string is hand-wash only. It isn’t a deal breaker, but it is worth bearing in mind if, like me, you tend to just throw everything in the washing machine together. The washing care label is also stitched into the front of the G-string, meaning that it is visible through the lace when you have it on, but this is easily remedied with a pair of scissors and is somewhat unavoidable due to the style. In general, I love these knickers and they immediately got the seal of approval from my husband as well. They are comfortable and attractive and I think they would be a great investment for anyone looking for a sexy little number that will make you look and feel great.

Top notch
I bought these on the 3 for £12 offer and I will admit that I’ve never been a fan of g-strings as I’ve never found any that don’t really dig in-until now that is! I’m a UK size 8 but depending on the shop I can sometimes get away with a size 6 in bottoms. I chose a size s/m in these and they were perfect. The triangle fit snugly and the string didn’t ride up or dig in. They felt really comfy on, so comfy you don’t feel like you are wearing a g-string and I can wear these all day no problem. They also look very sexy. The lacy design is gorgeous and looks really good in black. The material is also really good quality. Sometimes lace can be quite scratchy but these are lovely and soft. They also wash really well. I know the care label says hand wash only but I never adhere to care labels and put everything in the washing machine and so far these have come out like new each time with no holes and no fraying. All in all I am very pleased with these and highly recommend them. They are brilliant quality for the price and versatile enough to wear all day or all night. They have now become my go to g-string-I love them!

So comfortable
I don’t wear G-strings very often, so I’m quite picky about them, but with my experience with Lovehoney underwear so far, I thought this would be rather comfortable, and I was right! The string isn’t as thin as some others, and doesn’t dig into your hips or rub too much, and the lace is so soft. I almost forgot I was wearing it at one point! I like the way the colour is exactly the same as it is in the images on here, and it stays vibrant after washing.

I purchased this lingerie on a whim as i normaly only purchase thongs. They came in in clear plastic packets as normal .i purchased l/xl as i am a 16/18 they were a perfect fit not to tight just right. The lace detailing was beautifully detailed as all lovehoney lingerie is that why i love it. Beautifully detailed front triangle front that covers everything perfect ,then the waist band & string are joined together with a matching coloured plastic o ring witch means the strig doesnt move around like some other makes. Over all they feel very sex when worn ,never having to re adjust them if u know what i mean.

A comfortable but very sexy G-string
I have never really been a great lover of the G-String, but my OH really loves them, so I’ve been trying to find a comfy but still sexy G-string that I can wear during the day. I’ve always found G-strings quite uncomfortable to wear and lace to be a bit scratchy, however since trying this G-string from Lovehoney I’ve had a complete turnaround. These have become the comfiest -and sexiest- underwear that I own. The lace is beautifully soft and the G-string doesn’t dig in like others normally do. I can wear these all day and feel like I’m not wearing any underwear. They’re perfect for when wearing tight skirts, as there is no VPL, I’ve also noticed that the string isn’t noticeable (which can be an issue with some G-strings) so they’re practically invisible. My OH absolutely loves them and they match with pretty much any black bra. I’m a size 10 and the S/M fit perfectly. The only downside is that the black tag is visible through the lace but I just cut that out and it looked fine. There is also a small Lovehoney logo tag on the front of the underwear as can be seen on the photo. I personally quite like this and think it’s a sweet little logo but others may dislike this feature. All in all a great purchase, I intend to stock up on these, as they’re such good value with the 3 for £12 offer.

Gorgeous and very flirty
Absolutely love these – gorgeous bright red colour – very flirtatious. Very sexy and great value money. Got a size S/M which says it fits a size 8-10, I am a size 6 and this fits fine but ever-so-slightly loose, I would imagine they would perfectly fit a size 8-10 and was still a good fit for a size 6. I am a size 10-12, with my bum and hips probably leaning more towards the 12. I bought a medium size of this product and it fits perfectly. I have always found the accompanying thongs or g-strings to those sets to be quite uncomfortable and often cheap, so when these came on sale for Black Friday, I thought I’d grab a couple of pairs after reading the ratings. A good decision was made. This is unbelievably soft material and super stretchy so I could actually wear it during the day as well as the night time. The triangle covers very well and it fits to you rather than moving around during the day like a lot of g-string fronts can do. I’m a big girl (size 18) and I haven’t had a single red mark from these digging in. Okay, so packaging wise they aren’t amazing, but they don’t have any annoying care tag at the front to detract from the sheer look. I honestly would recommend buying a pair if you’re getting a lingerie set for someone as a gift. I almost always end up throwing away the bottom set anyway and having these would mean a lot of forethought had gone into it. Obviously get a nice bag or box though. These are simple and comfy and thus far have gone with every outfit from body stockings to corsets. They aren’t crotchless though so you’ll have to take them off for play time. Washing was unbelievably easy and the colour has stayed very vibrant without the material stretching. A mark of good quality!

I ordered the Lovehoney flirty black lace G-String to go with a lingerie set I had bought as the one provided was tacky and ill-fitting which I often find with sets I have purchased. I chose this one in black as I love lace and it looked simple yet sexy. It arrived in very simple plastic packaging which was not very overwhelming but when I opened it I was very happy with the G-String itself. It is very good quality and the lace detailing is so pretty. There’s a label at the front which I cut out as you could see it through the lace but that was very easy to do. I’m a size 10 so ordered the S/M size and it fits perfectly. You can team this with all kinds of lingerie and I have found it goes really nicely with a lot of sets that I have already which is great. It leaves little to the imagination which my partner loves! I’m very happy with this purchase and am now looking at ordering it in the red colour too. I would definitely recommend this G-String.

Get what you pay for
I paid £1.50 for these and they’re worth the money, I can’t really say I was disappointed because of the price. I rarely wear them, usually as the final layer of a strip tease under some more covering undies. They’re not very comfortable (but I’m not a thong fan anyway), but they’re fine just for the bedroom.

I was sent this item and asked to review. This arrived in the normal plain packaging, when I opened it up it was in a clear back, no cardboard packaging basically no nonsense but it does lint need fancy packaging. It is a beautiful colour with a nice design to the front. I don’t ever wear g strings as I find them like cheese wire but this was comfortable and nice to wear day or night. Love the colour
We were sent this little G string to review and the first thing that struck my wife is the lovely shade of coral.The string itself is, as you would expect, well made with plenty of stretch in the thin but soft straps.It has a cotton gusset (horrible word I know but that’s what it is! 🤷♂️) so even with the thin straps, it’s really comfortable and perfect under jeans.She much prefers to go commando under skirts when the weather is this hot but said that this was light and comfortable enough to put on and forget she’s wearing it.The lace front panel is soft and has a nice design and looks good on.We knew that Lovehoney has a Flirty range of undies and when we looked, they already stock this string in a sexy black and stunning red along with a matching bra.We’re now hoping they’ll eventually do the bra in the same lovely coral colour so that we can complete the set.A fair price and highly recommended.

Very comfortable
The item cam promptly as always from lovehoney.The item itself is very pretty to look at and feels very nice and lacy to touch.We got the L/XL size and my OH is a 14 normally so this was a bit on the large size, but dont think we could have gone for the S/M as that would have been too small, it was only a little bit big and did not cause any issues while wearing it.The OH said it was very comfortable to wear all day long and felt nice on.However one thing for design purposes is that the cleaning/size label is on the front of the g-string, mening that it takes a way a lot from the look having this nice and lacy G-String with a huge label very visable through the very nice lace.

Favorite panties!
I absolutely adore these! I bought a black and a white pair and they both are incredible. They give me a huge confident boost and make me feel sexy as ever. I’m really happy with these. The lace looks lovely and feels soft, not itchy at all. They sit really nicely on the hips and are flattering without feeling tight. The back is minimal but still comfy to wear all day. For the price you honestly can’t go wrong and they look a lot more expensive than they are. Washes fine and keeps its shape too.
