Soft and luxurious
Most of my knickers draw consists of boy shorts and I love to add to my collection so I couldn’t wait to try these out. The knickers come in a small plastic packet and the first thing I noticed about them was how soft and luxurious. The shorts have a beautiful lace pattern with scalloped edges. Instead of having the Lovehoney charm they have the Lovehoney logo stitched on to a little tag at the back of the knickers. Although these knickers say hand wash only I have washed them on a cold cycle in my washing machine and they showed no effects of been in the machine. I had a slight problem with the fit of these I’m a size 14/16 and got the l/xl and they did not fit closely to my body and gaped slightly in places. If you are a in between size I would go for the smaller size as I think it would be a better fit; I think the reason why they gaped slightly was that they were a little big for me. Even though the fit wasn’t perfect the knickers where comfortable to wear and looked sexy on.

Pretty and Sexy
Firstly, I’d like to thank Lovehoney for sending me these boyshorts in exchange for my review; it’s always great to get the opportunity to try new things, so thanks again LH! They arrived quickly and discreetly (to be honest there has never been a time when a LH order hasn’t, but my appreciation of this can never be overemphasised!). Upon opening the parcel I was greeted with a small plain plastic bag. I’m not sure if this is because these are a relatively new product or not, but to be honest, I’m not going to keep the packaging so this doesn’t bother me. It is something to think about if you’re buying these as a gift though. Size-wise I’m between an 8 and a 10 (although leaning more towards an 8 these days), and I got sent the S/M. They fit me perfectly, so I’m not sure how much of a “medium” these can accommodate. Once I’d slipped into them I went to the mirror to give my verdict and – wow. They are very very sexy and make me feel great. I love the intricate design of the lace and the shape of these boyshorts is amazing- they sit in sort of a v-shape that is very flattering to both my stomach and my bum, and I really like how they give you a hint of what is underneath through the lace design. They are also very smooth against my skin, so are a good option under tight clothing if you’re worried about a VPL and don’t fancy going commando. There are a few little loose bits of stitching that I will snip away, but aside from these, they seem to be well made, and I love the cheeky little LH heart label on the back. They are very delicate though so I will be adhering to the “hand-wash only” instructions. My only niggle with them is that when I was sliding them on I noticed that they are slightly scratchy compared to other lace underwear that I own, but this isn’t uncomfortable once they are on and I’m hoping they will get softer with a couple of washes. So if you’re looking for some flattering lacy boyshorts,you can’t go too wrong with these as they are really pretty, super sexy, and feminine. Good work LH!

My new favourites
I was super happy to have the opportunity to try out a couple of the new Flirty pieces, I love how Lovehoney consistently balance quality and value for money and I have come to expect very good things from their lingerie. As ever, I was not let down! This range is going to be a welcome sight to those who wanted non crotchless versions of the first range. These are truly your everyday sexy pants. They are so perfect! They might look basic, but we all need the basics right? The lace is beautifully soft and high quality, with the pretty pattern and scalloped edges adding a lovely touch of feminine prettiness. There is a lovely, cotton like (though according to the label NOT cotton) gusset with a lace overlay, both pretty and practical. If you’ve ever tried to wear solid lace pants for any space of time, you’ll understand why ladies need gussets. The build quality is as good as the materials, with no loose stitching or awkward seams. The lace seems durable; I wouldn’t be too concerned at catching it on a fingernail or zipper as it seems very rip resistant. Not that I’d ever subject my dainties to such rough treatment, you understand. The fit was just perfect. These are hands down the best fitting pair of boyshorts I have, let alone the best pair I have from Lovehoney’s own brand. It’s like they were made for me, seriously! I usually wear a size 12 on my bottom half, so opted for the M/L (12-14) size. For once, I got the fit spot on; they’re loose enough to be comfy but at no risk of falling down or looking too big/baggy. They also, thankfully, don’t bunch up and give me a wedgie the way most boyshorts do! I thought I looked pretty amazing in these. The V shaped waistband is a lot deeper on me than it is in the pictures, perhaps I am wearing them wrong! I don’t care, they look great with the deep v; it accentuates all the positive curves (ie my bum, the small of my back etc) while disguising and drawing the eye away from the less positive curves (that would be my tummy). Going for full marks so far; they look and feel good both on the hanger and on me. I really hope these are released in lots of colours, versatile as black is these are just too good to not pair with every bra I own! I’ll be waiting for those extra colours, Lovehoney 😉 The only, truly minor niggle I could find with these was the inner label (not the cute Lovehoney logo outer one). It is exceedingly sharp and itchy, plus looks a bit naff under such sheer material, so I cut mine out. Problem solved really, as long as you are careful not to nick the seam! These boyshorts are truly so comfortable, between the fit and the soft feel materials, that I can wholeheartedly recommend them for everyday use. They’re sexy but so easy to wear, so ideal for days where you aren’t at your most body confident, or when you just couldn’t be bothered faffing with complicated lingerie. They’re perfect for wearing as a sexy surprise for your partner under your normal clothes, or just as a little personal indulgence on a dull day. This is definitely the ‘wardrobe essentials’ range to me!

Sensually stunning
These i decided to get in the 3 for 12 offer a while ago and my goodness im ever so pleased i did. Thanks for the discreet fast delivery as always LH. I decided to try the red pair on first and they were just sensational. They fitted like a glove as im a size 18 usually. The material is of a gorgeous floral design and the quality of the lace itself exceeds my expectations for the price. Worn them many times now and they wash well and look lile new still which i think is perfect as it just shows the quality of LH products. Perfectly purple panties
These were part of a 3 for offer and i am so so glad i chose this colour, thanks for the fast discreet delivery LH. I love purple and always have but for some reason never much purple lingerie have i owned. So i recently got myself a stunning lingerie top half and i just spur of the moment decided to wear this to match. Even though these are a deep purple and the other a lilac and black some reason it worked ever so well and looked stunning. Im usually an 18 so these in a 16/18 actually fit me perfect with still a bit more give in them so they are perfect for long time wear or just the cheeky little look what im wearing. Its a shame they are lace in a way because they feel absolutely perfect against my skin and he cant control himself so they come off quicker than what it took to put them on 😉 I expect these to was well on many washed like all the boyshorts i have ordered from LH but they are fabulous after half a dozen washes all ready.

Gorgeous
I love these boyshorts! I am a size 10/12 and I decided to go for the M/L and they fit me perfectly. They arrive folded up in a tiny clear packet. Once I got them out of the packet I was very impressed with how lovely and soft the lace felt. Once I’d got them on, I was even more delighted! They are incredibly sexy and flattering. They are quite low on my hips, but this looks very flattering, as the elastic at the top does not dig in, causing an unwanted bulge, which happens with some knickers. With these I have a lovely smooth line. They just about cover my bum crack, if I pull them up a little at the back. Doing this displays a little more bum cheek at the bottom, but I don’t mind that. I cut out the label on the inside, as I thought it might annoy me (I also don’t like people knowing what size clothing I wear, unless it’s a small size, then I tend to leave the label in;)) There is also a little black label on the outside of the shorts at the back, featuring the Lovehoney heart logo. I decided to leave this on, as the label is not too big and the heart is quite cute. Overall, I am thrilled with these boyshorts. They fit me exactly as I hoped they would, gorgeous material, I would definitely recommend them and I will be buying more in different colours!

beautiful, soft, flattering
The only word to describe these is wow! I wasn’t too hopeful on purchasing these because lace underwear and me don’t agree, there is never enough give for moving about in the day and they roll down and bunch up. I bought these based on a personal recommendation and thought why not? Well now it’s just why not sooner? They fit beautifully. They are made from a gorgeous soft stretch lace which feels and looks incredibly sexy on the skin. The lace is so wonderfully soft and stretchy they move with you throughout the day and feel so comfortable. The only slight negative I could possibly pick at would be that I’d have preferred the lovehoney logo on the back to be on a silkier ribbon to be as soft as the rest of the short but it really isn’t an issue. I always thought comfort and sexy couldn’t co-exist but in these shorts they are the best of friends

Worth the money!

Comfy and cute
I jumped at the chance to review Lovehoney’s flirty boyshorts in a different colour, “indigo blue”, because I know how popular this style is. Also, blue is quite rare for sexy undies and I know someone who likes the colour a lot. Thanks Lovehoney! The boyshorts arrived in the usual Lovehoney packaging, with just a clear plastic bag and the Lovehoney label attached. They are a beautiful muted mid-blue colour, very classy and a nice change from my go-to black undies. The floral lace is very nice, not scratchy and has a slight sheen to it. I usually wear a size 10 and I was testing the S/M for sizes 8/10. They were a good fit for me and had lots of stretch, so I expect they would fit a small 12, also. They are really soft and the lightweight, stretchy lace makes them super comfy to wear every day. The second time I wore these was the the day I went for my brazilian wax, and I was so thankful to have these comfy undies on. I love that there is no waistband or leg elastic, so there is nothing to dig into your lovehandles or bum. In fact, they are very flattering over the bum area, making my slightly flat cheeks look rounder than they are, but still giving plenty coverage everywhere else. I hand washed these following the instructions and they were fine, so next time I was naughty and washed them in the machine on a delicates setting, and they still look good as new. These boyshorts are very comfy and a good fit. I would definitely consider buying more of these in the future, especially if they are on offer.

Girls you should own these
This review is written by Mrs Onlyones. We were sent these as a tester item and who could resist a free pair of knickers. As usual they come in just a small plastic bag which is all they need and means no unnecessary packaging to dispose of. This is a new colour to range and is a lovely addition that I think will prove very popular though sad that the pale blue are being discontinued. The lace is really nice and soft with a pretty floral pattern,they feel great on and there is no scratchy feeling like you can get with some of the coarser lace knickers available elsewhere.These shorts have no actual waistband but seem to be made of a stretchy material that clings really well and has enough grip to keep them in place.The edges of the lace have a scalloped edge which looks much nicer than a plain old waistband.I am a size 12 so requested the M/L and they fitted really well,i think I will certainly be adding more of this range to my knicker drawer.

Beautiful Blue Boyshorts
Having had seriously good experience with Lovehoney’s own range of “Flirty Knickers”, I simply had to give a go to the new colour option – and I was not disappointed. These Indigo Blue Boyshorts come in a simple, cellophane bag with a paper tag with a few bits of information on the product – you learn that your new lace knickers are made from 90% nylon and 10% spandex and that you should hand wash them in cold water. I have found out that when you are careful (do not put them inside your washing machine with anything that could tear at the delicate lace, and never go for a temperature that is higher than 30°C) you can get away with a machine-wash program for “delicates” as well. The sheer lace is very soft to touch, the likelihood it would scratch you is very slim indeed. I would say the actual colour of these boyshorts is slightly darker than the product photos indicate, and that there is also a bit of a “shimmer” to the fabric – this is by no means a bad thing, on the contrary, these knickers are just lovely! While the price is not awfully high (and when you go for the 3 for £12 offer, it is actually quite a bargain!), these undies feel very luxurious, the stitching seems to be fairly sturdy and well-made (the only minor thing that could be better is the way the lozenge-shaped gusset got sewn in – it is slightly askew and there are a few threads sticking around it, yet it is not a major problem). There is no waistband (no VPL problem here!), spandex makes these knickers stretchy all over. Knowing that boyshorts (and thongs) of the “Flirty” range are quite generously sized, I opted for the M/L (12-14) ones, and they fit my not-exactly-petite frame pretty well. The lace is sheer, making these knickers a little naughty, yet so soft and comfortable that it is very much okay to wear these undies throughout your average working day (why not brighten up the boredom of day-to-day stuff with these brightly coloured knickers?). All in all, I do not have any serious complaints, just praise. This product is lovely and sexy, and I would heartily recommend it to anyone out there!

I purchased these as part of the ‘3for£12’ deal. I picked the purple ones (obviously, as purple is the best colour!), then was about to put a black pair in when I realised my knicker drawer is full of black knickers. Be brave I thought! So I went for red. I have never owned any red underwear, always thinking it looks tacky. Oh how wrong I was!! The red is so bright, it’s just gorgeous! The material is so soft and well made, and they wash well with no problems either. My husband was pleasantly surprised by these as they’re not my usual colour at all. The sizing is big, I’m more of a size 18 and these knickers have plenty of room left in them. I love them, I wear them for general ‘everyday’ knickers, and I always feel that little bit more glam knowing I’ve got them on!

Great match for red Seduce Me bra
I ordered these to match the red Seduce me bra. I was really hoping the colour would be similar, and I’m pleased to say it’s a pretty good match. I’m a size 8 – 10 and I ordered these in a size small / medium. They fit really well, definitely quite snugly I’d say. If you’re in between sizes I’d recommend you go for a size larger. I like that these don’t give a VPL. The lace is smooth, delicate and very fine. They feel silky soft. They’re quite low rise and they dip a bit at the back in middle. I love the Flirty underwear, and I – like many others – am gutted to see it running out! I have lots of Flirty knickers and they’ve lasted ages, wash after wash. My advice would be to grab some of these while they’re still available!

It is quite hard to find nice lacey panties on the shops apart from thongs, so when I saw this pair I ordered them. I am a size 12 and ordered the M/L. They fit and look really nice on (the husband certainly approved and made sure to take them off quite soon). However, they do sit a bit lower than other pairs of boyshorts I own, barely covering my bum. While this was a plus for the husband, they were not the most comfortable thing to wear. Thus, I’d definitively wear them again for sexy times, but not for everyday wear.

Great from the back
I purchased these to go with a bra. I have tried them on and they look great from the back but not very good from the front due to way they are cut. They feel nice though and the pattern on them looks even better in person! The width of them fit very well, it was the length that let them down. Width wise they feel and look great, they aren’t likely to leave a visible pantie line. Length wise the felt like they would give a front wedgie when they were pulled up just high enough to cover the nessasaties.

They come with a small tag attached showing you some basic info as well as the wash instructions, which states hand wash only, but can say that they will stand up to a machine shop as I have a few other pairs of these and some of the lovehoney thongs and I always machine wash them and have never had a problem with doing so and they still look as good as the day I got them. The quality is what we’ve come to expect from Lovehoney. Surprisingly soft yet strong and really well made. I often find the sexier the panty the more uncomfortable they are, not with these however. Not only did my man friend approve (and me too!) but they’re super soft and actually feel like I’m not wearing them at all. To be honest they weren’t on long anyway. This underwear didn’t fit me particularly well. This could just be a result of a larger than average bottom, but I would suggest thinking twice if you too have a large bottom. The material isn’t quite stretchy enough to accommodate this. They are very pretty however and a lovely colour, I just wish there were a couple of size options as opposed to being “one size”.

As always, they arrived in the box of joy in plain and discreet packaging. Something that is essential in our multigenerational household! These came in their own plastic, see-through sleeve. They are extremely soft and unstructured. They are a vivid red and they fit so SO well! They hug my body but don’t dig in. They don’t ride up or fall down. They don’t roll or move at all. It’s like they’re stuck on with glue. They’re amazing. I’m a size 16/18 on the bottom and these still fit beautifully. Even when I was a 20/22 they fitted amazingly. I won’t wear any other knickers now. They have transformed my underwear drawer and my love for underwear! Hubby loves the feel of them and loves how they look too. The lace is very soft and delicate. I do was them in a lingerie bag as they have been caught on Velcro from bibs and zippers in the washing machine. Learn from my mistake and just put them in a lingerie bag! Plum Choice
Mrs Chimp is a size 14 with a 32-inch waist and 39-inch hips (give or take a smidge for Lockdown) and we got these in the Large. We have these in a few different colours and Mrs Chimp thinks they’re fantastic. They’re stretchy and comfortable enough to be worn all day, good quality, soft lace with a very pretty floral pattern, and they show a nice bit of bum too (very sexy). They’re also really easy to handwash, and really quick to dry. The colour of this pair in particular is really nice as it’s in a more sophisticated palette than the previous versions. The others were really bright and fun (which is great), but it’s good to have a more elegant option. All in all a great pair of knickers.

I bought a pair of these in the sale, they are so comfy,so comfy in fact that at times i forget that i actually have them on lol ! The quality of the material is very high and the purple colour is a lovely deep colour. I have put these through the washing machine without any issues so far. I really love these lace boyshorts. So much so that I have several pairs, I am planning to by even more pairs as I would happily wear everyday. They are very comfortable yet sexy at the same time. I prefer pants that offer more coverage these do so without falling into granny pants territory. They wear and wash well. Pros: -So fricken cute. -I was experiencing some body changes when I first got these and they were the sexy little boost I needed to feel more booty pride-Very flattering for all body types including changing ones (lingerie that actually feels like a treat for the wearer). -Far comfier than I had expected them to be. As in, wear under your clothes and forget you are wearing them, comfy! *Except for the occasional breeze, as these are also quite breathable, so much so that it really feels like you are wearing nothing at all.-I have skin that’s so sensitive it’s silly, and a lot of lingerie lace feels scratchy and stiff to me (not in a good way). These are silky soft and smooth even for my demanding skin. Cons (all minor): -They aren’t um… absorbent at all… So, if you’re going out on a very sexy date maybe wear a panty liner till just before showtime? The cotton gusset could be like 0.5mm thicker… -Speaking of the gusset- it would be awesome it it could be like 1 cm longer towards the front. The front gusset line on me lands over my most sensitive areas and can kind of rub its way inward. While this can feel very good it doesn’t help with the absorbency issue, or concentration for things like work or driving. This is the main reason I don’t suggest for every day use- they are kind of just too much fun. -These seemed to run a tiny bit larger than indicated for me.-Be sure to follow the care instructions or the machine gremlins really will chew these up (Now I know that these aren’t just the recommended but the necessary type of instructions, and have ordered back ups).

These panties are just not secure. Although the lacy material is slightly stretchy there is no stronger elastic at the top. The result is that they are liable to come down not only when you want them to but when you don’t want them to.
