Thanks Lovehoney for sending me this naughty costume to test with my girlfriend. Speedy and undercover delivery as always! I was very excited to see her try this on, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. Two ribbons hold the costume behind the neck and at the lower back, with a bra type fastener which really make the boobs pop. This was easy for her to put on herself, and easy for me to slip her out of too 😉 The material is a decent quality, with a good finish, and the apron “petticoat” bottom almost reaches the bottom of the bum – though let’s be honest, it’s not meant to cover it! The back of this costume is almost entirely open, with the petticoat part beautifully framing the bum! Despite being a comfortable 14-16, the girlfriend much prefers loose fitting in the bedroom and this met the needs perfectly for her. Her boobs looked fantastic once the underbust strap was done up, really made them pop out! There is a decent amount of adjustment in the ties for different sizes, A very sexy costume indeed, and I will certainly be setting her a lot of cleaning tasks around the house of an evening 😉

As usual my parcel from Lovehoney arrived very quickly and discreetly. Inside the parcel the outfit is folded inside a clear cellophane bag. It is very easy to put the outfit on and, once on, I was delighted with how it looked on me! I am 5’4”, dress size 10/12, and wear 34DD bra. I think this is a very flattering costume and would probably look good on ladies of all shapes and sizes, as it is so easily adjustable. It looks good quality, with lovely thick satin ribbons that tie around the back. The ribbon around my waist ties just above my bum. I tied the halterneck ribbon quite tightly which, along with the elasticated ribbon under the bust and the adjustable strap at the back, which I also made as tight as possible, gave me a nice lift and did offer some support. My boobs fit inside nicely and the sexy see-through mesh material means one’s nipples are clearly visible. The frilly ruffled lace along the halterneck neckline is very pretty and feminine and the front panel hides the tummy nicely and is overall very flattering. On me, the length at the front reaches to about my mid thigh. The open back is very sexy! Although I prefer to wear a pair of sexy lace shorts with this costume, as my bum is not my best feature, so I feel more confident and sexy with the shorts on. I also teamed it with a pair of black hold ups and high heels and my man loved it! No complaints at all from him! If you’re after a maid’s costume for a bit of cheeky role play, I would definitely recommend this!

The dirty maid costume that cleaned up
Okay so to be perfectly honest when this costume was delivered I didn’t have high hopes for it – arriving in a screwed up jiffy bag looking like something I’d ordered off ebay was not the usual smart sophisticated packaging I was used to from love honey. BUT it did get better, being a size 12-14 I’m always wary of anything labelled ‘one size fits all’ but was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on (in secret) that it fitted without being tight anywhere it shouldn’t. It’s easy to put on (and take off!) and is adjustable to ensure its comfy. When I did try it on for my husband I was a bit nervous as to whether I looked sexy or not, but I needn’t have worried as 5 seconds later he’d stripped and the new sofa got a try out as well as the maid costume.

Delightful French Fancy
I received this item as a tester to review. This is my second “sexy dress-up” outfit, as I have a “sexy Dorothy” also. You can see from the photos what this looks like, but you can’t fully appreciate the details. The ribbon ties are seriously high-quality, like fully-fledged crafting ribbon! The ruffled lace is absolutely adorable and takes this from being a Travelodge Maid, to a high-class French Maid for your Dirty Mind. I also adore the peek of nipple that comes through the cups when I wear this – a valuable tool for keeping your partner fantasising, even when in the moment itself. If a peek of nipple is not enough to get him going, your bare back and barely covered derriere should tempt him to undo the ribbon ties, no matter how good or bad a job of dusting the ceiling you’re doing! I am a size 6-8 and I found this to be correct sizing. The super-long ties around the neck and waist means that it is entirely adjustable to whatever size you are and I think it would indeed go up to a 16. I did find the torso to be slightly long for me (a 5ft lady), so I have to tie it around my hips, not my waist, otherwise the front pouches a bit. The skirt still looks so teasing and flirty even when worn lower down. As someone with mini A cup boobs, I also wish there was more of a boosting effect for my chest. The adjustable support band does provide a small amount of support, but of the variety that stops big boobs sagging, not the type that actually boosts your boobs. When I wore this for my partner, I expected him to be lukewarm to it and basically discard it as fast as possible. However, it went down a storm! He loved running his hands underneath the skirt and giving me little spanks. The halter-neck design meant he had easy access to my boobs without taking the whole thing off, which he enjoyed, since I think he dislikes items that are too fiddly to get into. He thought it was a great item and I looked hot, giving it 9/10 on (but 10/10 off – his answer to how all lingerie looks haha). Overall, good value for money, though I would advise you get the accessories to go with it or ensure you have things already to use – it can look a bit plain alone.

Unfortunately this item really is not suited to the bigger busted ladies. Im a size 12 with 34DD breasts and they just didnt fit in the top half of this outfit. I found the material also quite poor along with the ribbon. I will be returning this item as I have now ordered a different one.

So being dubious of the price I bought this on a whim. No one ever seem to get it right with plus size sizing on costumes so I wasn’t looking for anything great. Well I am shook! This is 5* plus, not only did it fit well (could stretch much larger if needed) the cut was flattering and nothing ripped or digged in, it wasn’t flapping around in the wrong place. I looked HOT I’ve tried it on, cold washed it and worn it for a little home photoshoot and it’s still looking new and fits without loosing its shape. Now given the price yes the material isn’t the best or it’s not like going to be a 100 wear item but the value is there. It comes in a plastic bag inside the packaging which is discreet with no labelling. There’s a label attached which you should cut off not pull given the type of material. On first looks it’s all creased but the material just stretches it out. You have a fastening at the back which you tie shut which is good for the fact it can fit all different types of body. If your looking for something to make you confident and feel sexy in on a budget, this is it.

Teamed up with the crotchless knickers this was a very naughty outfit. It was a bit big for me but didn’t want it to be small so went for the larger size. It doesn’t matter however because you can just fasten it up a bit tighter. Has washed really well with no changes to the fabric. It’s a very good quality item. This is my 3rd purchase of a costume and they have all been great but this one by far is my favourite. I did need to fasten the neck ties as tight as they would go for support around the bust but went for the larger size as I wanted extra coverage around the front.
