The best lube I’ve found for anal. I use it for prostate toy play and have used it once on my girl. She usually can’t handle anal, but said this made it a lot easier. Like all Lovehoney packages, it came in a discreet box with no markings or text that would indicate what was inside. My Goddess requires very intense and vigorous rough sex. The product itself was just ok. i found that I had to use quite a bit because it was almost watery and didn’t stay on the anal toy I was using before I inserted it. So I had to use quite a bit, and the bottle is pretty small. When you consider the price per fluid ounce, it’s quite pricey. I think I’ll just stick with my local drug store’s offerings. The price is cheaper (both overall and on a price per ounce) and I get more fluid ounces per bottle.

I am very sensitive to certain things and no matter what the label says and how “gentle” it claims to be it seemed like all personal lubricants started out well enough but a few hours after the deed I was seriously uncomfortable in my nether regions. So ordered the Discovery after hearing rave reviews about it here and in the Community Forum. As a male, I am looking for a few things in a lube that are risky when ordering online. Here are the things I liked about it:1. Quantity – I mean sheer amount of lube you get for the price. This is fantastic as usual quantities in the store are half as much and for this price with free shipping it is 100% worth the larger bottle.2. Taste – I usually go with silicone lubes for the taste as usually there are mouths involved in places where the lube has been. This water based lube is almost tasteless and even my OH didn’t mind the lack of metallic or tingy taste that comes with it. 3. Slickness – This stuff is great for everything. It is seriously slippery to the point that there is literally zero friction. The slickness on the end of the shaft as well as the amount you need to make it last is fantastic. If you tend to make a little “lube” of your own, it just continues to give back. Nothing worse than reaching for the bottle when the little guys starts smoking… you know what I mean. 4. Thickness – this stuff stays put! If you want it on the end of the shaft or on the love bud, a half pump is all you need. In the dark you know exactly how much you are getting and it doesn’t drip through your fingers like a silicone lube. 5. Packaging – It is an anal lube but it doesn’t have “ANAL LUBE” written all over the damn bottle like some others. Again, my 10-year old doesn’t think twice if we leave it out by accident and thinks it’s mom’s beauty serem…which it totally is … ;)But that brings me to the part I wasn’t keen on and it may just be me (plus I just complimented in this point):I didn’t like the pump. As a parent, you don’t just leave bottle of lube lying around. If you need to get lube in the first place it is likely hiding in a sock drawer or stashed away from wandering eyes. Trying to get the pump back down and screwed in so it doesn’t leak for transport purposes is almost impossible plus you lose a whole pump of lube and then it’s sol slippery you can’t get a grip on the screw in nozzle. Not all is lost – I have decided to combine some other partial bottles of lube into one and use a flip-top bottle going forward. There is a smaller version in this packaging but it is only 100ml where this was more than double for only $5.00 more. Great value so I don’t mind some home engineering for logistical purposes.5 stars – no complaints. Worth saving up and grabbing a couple when they combine to get you free shipping. Hats off to LH for making the best water based lube I have used in 22 years of marriage!

However, it of course sill dries up if you don’t reapply it somewhat frequently. It also has a sort of soapy scent which doesn’t bother me at all but is worth mentioning.

Before using this I was using the Jo Anal lube which was just a slightly thicker version of the normal Jo. This is way better. It is thick, long lasting, and the pump is great! It just took a bit of effort to get the pump to release the first time, but now it’s fine.
