Fantastically powerful!
We already have a Lovehoney mains powered wand, and it’s a firm favourite of ours and gets regular use. What we like about it is the strength and power of the vibrations, and never fails to make either of us cum, but it can be a bit limiting being tethered to a socket or extension, hence when the opportunity to test and review a rechargeable version we jumped at the chance, so our grateful thanks goes to LH for sending this.In short it is exactly the same as the mains version, and seriously powerful! Just holding the head in your hand for a little while makes your fingers tingle!It’s heavier than the mains version, weighing in a 0.6kg vs 0.45kg for the mains unit, but if anything it’s better for it as you really don’t need to apply any pressure with it, and just resting it in place is just right for explosive orgasms.It comes with adapters for UK, AUS, USA, and EU so no problems with needing country adapters at all.The only slight difference between our mains version is that the mains one has a thumbwheel swith to turn it on and alter the speed, whereas the rechargeable one has buttons to alter speed, as well as vibration pattern which the mains one doesn’t have.As regards to noise, well it’s no good if you have anyone within earshot as they aren’t quiet, but I can’t imagine any of them with this level of power will be very quiet, but it’s just something to expect with this type of device.Overall then we really love this, and it will probably mean the mains one becomes redundant (unless both are used at once – wow!).Honestly, we can’t rate this highly enough, so if you’re looking for a wand then don’t hesitate to go for this one. It’s brilliant!

A new bedside table favourite!
I have a ton of experience with wand style vibrators and tend to rely on mains powered ones. This is my first rechargeable “full size” model and, while I’m going to say right off the bat, it is NOT as powerful or rumbly as a mains powered equivalent (eg Doxy Die Cast), it is still a fantastic toy that I have found myself reaching for a lot.Packaging is fairly plain, just the standard Lovehoney own brand thin cardboard box and plastic inner tray. It’s fine, but not suitable for long term storage (my box was actually already slightly ripped on arrival).The wand itself is gorgeous. I was immediately surprised and impressed by the quality and weight (it actually feels heavier than my Doxy Die Cast which is metal). The head is lovely and smooth, the neck had just the right amount of flexibility and the buttons are easy to press, responsive and have a satisfying click. Overall 10/10 toy design.As mentioned, the vibrations do not feel what I’m used to from wands. The heavy head helps, but the vibrations are strong but still a bit buzzy and not super intense. I personally really like the slow start, I use all of the constant vibration settings and don’t feel like a need “more” from it. I orgasm reliably. I do not use any of the patterns on toys that are primarily for clitoral stimulation, though if you’re into them then there are LOADS. When you turn the toy off and on again, it returns to the constant vibration settings instead of having to cycle through them. For a wand, it is also really quiet which I love as I do find very loud toys distracting.This is a really solid wand however – I was sent it as a tester and didn’t know the retail price until it went live on the website. While I love it, knowing what I know and given that I already own multiple mains wands, I don’t think I would splash out for this one.However, if you are new to wands or know you’re not a super “power queen” and are looking for a REALLY good quality wand with the bonus of no cable, this is definitely worth a look.

For a toy of its price, I did expect a storage bag and I was a little surprised that it isn’t one of Lovehoney’s premium branded toys. However, I put this aside, as ultimately it is the toy itself that matters. The first thing I will say is that this wand is heavy. Being able to rest the head of the wand against the body will really help your wrists, but if you are holding against a partner who is stood up, you are going to need to change hands a few times!The wand itself is nice and easy to use, although it took me a while to figure out that if you have the patterns on and push and hold the pattern button, it will go back to constant vibration. My only concern about the controls is that there is no real quick way off (pushing and holding the minus button just takes the vibration down until it stops). Also, it is too easy to accidentally turn the wand off if you aren’t sure which setting you are on and press the minus button one too many times.The head is a lovely soft, silky silicone which feels great against the skin. It glides easily making it great for all over massage as well as more intimate play. The only issue is, it does attract dust easily. You have to press and hold the speed decrease button and the unit will travel through each lesser intensity before finally turning off. This means it takes several seconds to shut off, depending on how high you had it. There are two buttons to increase and decrease the speed and the power button which also cycles through the patterns. I have used Lovehoney wands for many years since the original came out and I have always absolutely loved these wands! I had my first wand for several years then I got a new wand (in a different colour, to spice things up, but it was still the same design) and honestly I never thought you could improve the design. As a frequent user of the previous versions of Lovehoney wands, I thought it would be most useful to summarise the key differences between the original wand and this upgraded 2. 0 design:1. SMOOTH HEAD – In the original wands there was a ‘ribbed’ pattern to the head of the wand, but with this 2. 0 design the entire head is a smooth texture2. WEIGHT – This 2. 0 wand is actually a little bit heavier than the previous wand (in my opinion) but only very slightly and I assume that is partly because of the new design look (more metallic and premium looking) and also maybe a motor in the wand, as that leads me onto my 3rd point. . .3. INTENSITY – This 2. 0 wand seems to nudge up quite a bit more intense than the previous wands, as in, the fastest/strongest setting is VERY STONG!! But as the head is all smooth and not ribbed (which might be the reason why they decided to not use a ribbed head this time) it is manageable haha!! 4. BUTTON – I used to have a Lovehoney wand with a scroll dial for changing up the speed settings, but this new design has plus and minus buttons, which are very easy to press and can be done with one hand (which leaves your free for your second hand to be involved in a different way e. g. using a dildo at the same time as using the vibrator)5. VIBRATIONS SETTINGS – The original wand did not have different vibration settings, whereas this device has 10 different vibration settings/patterns, which you easily change by clicking on the power button (rather than holding onto the power button to turn the wand on/off) which actually is a nice addition as when you are on a very fast speed I actually do enjoy changing the patterns6. CHARGER – Unlike the original mains powered wand, this wand can be charged with a USB cable, which is a small difference but one to note7. TRAVEL LOCK – I noticed on the packaging that you can apply a travel lock setting to the vibrator, which is GREAT as I have always been terrified of bringing vibrators on flights haha! So really great that this has been taken into account by Lovehoney with their upgrade 2. 0 model of the wand, a big plus!Overall, I had very high expectations (as I have loved using the wand for many years) but still, this 2. 0 wand really does go that extra bit further!! This is louder than a magic wand, and the handle vibrates a lot unlike the magic wand. The patterns are actually not a gimmick which is nice. The vibe is more rumbling than the other wand which wife says isnt as good.

Solid but Worrying
This vibe is working out extremely well for me: Great modes, good control, flexible head, smooth charging. I wish it had been made clearer on the page that it wouldn’t come with a USB-to-wall converter, that put me out another 20 bucks because it’s USB-C. My other main concern is that it feels a little fragile and I fear it might break sooner than the price implies. Overall, good to get on sale or if you’ve got the budget.

A wand that hits the spot
This was my first wand experience and honestly I cant reccomend this product enough. The design is sleek and sexy. I particularly enjoy the way the head seems to have some flexibility to help really hit the spot when you’re in the mood.
