Well built but a bit stiff
Firstly it weighs quite a bit due to the magnet internal but still easy to use. Its quite a size and due to the internals is always quite a rigid toy to use so bear that in mind. I love that there are no wires and the remote is hands free this makes its better that some toys we have had. The thrusting is pretty good and i think the price point is better with this. Sadly for us it didnt quite deliver I think toy with a internal thrust is very hard to mimic a real thrust motion. It certainly adds a new dynamic but just not quite enough for us to be amazing. There are a great range of patterns and variation available. The toy looks and feels great. Just the stiffness which is needed was not for us.

Nice Package Idea but left me on a bit of a Downer
When it comes to sex toys, I’m not generally a fan of flesh pink coloured dildos. There, I said it. But as that’s just my personal opinion I reserved judgement about the very pale fleshy tone of this new Lifelike Lover Luxe when it came through for me to review. They say ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ so I didn’t want to judge this playtime pecker by its silicone colour alone. Although the petite dimpled balls were also a bit more of a turn off than a turn on for me visually too. I do love texture though and this 5inch girthed boy is smothered in wonderful veiny ridges all along its 6inch insertable shaft which are wonderful addition to an internal massage. You lose some, you win some! The silicone is soft to touch, although not as velvety as some other dildos I own, and it does therefore require a fair amount of water-based lube to ease the drag potential of this particular material. It is very easy to clean, dry and keep clean though, so again…swings and roundabouts! Straight out of the box both the remote and the dildo need charging. They both use the same USB wire so unless you have another suitable wire hanging around you will have to do this separately. Given that the dildo takes 180 minutes to charge and the remote another 120 there’s a bit of a wait before any fully loaded playtime can get going. Plenty of time to drink a few cups of tea and dream of what you’re going to do with your new member, or, use the time actively to set the mood and maybe warm up with a few other toys or play. Both the remote and the dildo are very easy to charge. The non-waterproof remote has a standard jack hole at the base at the back and the dildo has a puncture point on one side of the shaft just above the balls. The instruction manual suggests that you can expect 35 minutes of play from one full charge although I actually found I got a little bit longer (about 45 minutes). There is a ‘standby’ mode which obviously drains the battery very slowly too. Side note – we found this standby feature quite fun as we stuck the dildo in places around the house and switched it ‘on’ with the remote to give the other a surprise and a chuckle! We found the remote has a range of at least 20 metres (through walls and ceilings in our house) and still changes modes/ switching off and on with no issue at all The suction cup is a generous size which also makes this dildo suitable for harnesses if that’s your thing. Left to just ‘sit’ it has a fairly decent vacuum but definitely prefers to stick to non- shiny surfaces and generally benefits from a little bit of moisture under the cup before pushing into position. However, thanks to the ‘thruster’ magnets in the lower half of the shaft, this vibe is a weighty one. I frustratingly found it to be a bit too temperamental about staying in place on both horizontal and vertical surfaces when the thrusting function was switched on. This ended up not being too much of an issue for me, as I preferred to use this Lifelike Lover as a hand-held vibe, but I could imagine this would be a little disappointing if this was one of the reasons you chose this particular thrusting toy over another. You have to switch the dildo one by pressing the power button on the shaft. This puts the toy into standby mode. You can then choose to cycle one way through the patterns/ functions via the buttons on the shaft or the remote. Because the buttons are completely flush with the shaft the buttons on the toy itself are quite difficult to use when it’s in action, although it’s good to know there is always this option should you lose the remote! We choose to use the remote for the most part. Its petite ergonomic shape sits nicely in my hand although it could be easier to lose out of hubby’s lube slicked hands, which are obviously larger than mine. Otherwise, the remote is really easy to hold, use and cycle one way through vibe and thrust options, patterns and modes, or to switch a mode on/ off easily and effortlessly. There is an impressive number of ‘action’ modes (14 vibration patterns and 7 thrusting speeds/ patterns, I think…) Vibrations and thrusting can be used individually or together, which gives a seemingly impressive amount of choice to play with, although I have to admit that they actually all seem to blur into one once thrust mode is on and you’re fully ‘on board’. Vibrations are initially felt more at the head and thrusting more down at the base, but motion from both functions can generally be felt throughout the whole of the shaft whether you’re using just the tip or are ‘balls deep’. The vibrations are quiet whether suckered to a surface or not. They’re fairly powerful but are somewhat diffused and still a bit buzzy because of the rigidity of the shaft. Thrust mode does make the whole dildo jump backwards and forwards but it’s more of a pulse/ fast twitching than a fuller oscillation compared to some other (and preferred) thrusting toys I own. The thrust feature is whisper quiet on its own (without vibes) and hand held and the noise is also impressively low when vibration and thrusting are on together when handheld. Unfortunately though, the thrust mode was incredibly loud whatever surface I attached the dildo to with thrust mode live. It might just be our house and furniture but it sounded like the whole house was shaking because a van was parked with the engine running inside – so not as discrete as some might like/ need to enjoy private playtime and not the type of thumping I was hoping for!The concept of this dildo is good. It’s sturdy and well made from good quality materials… but it just didn’t quite hit the (G) spot for me. The biggest issue for me was the slight ‘downward droop’ combined with the lack of ‘bounce’ at the base of the shaft. Because of the (magnet) weight this dildo naturally sits at about a 70-degree angle. I have a slight backward rotation to my pelvis so when using this dildo as a suction toy just it just didn’t feel comfortable or hit any of the right spots or rub nicely on my front wall for me, regardless of position. I had a little more success using it as a handheld toy (and the balls do help with grip) but I actually got the best results by using the whole thing upside down and handheld (by either me or my partner) so that I could angle it better for my anatomy. However, because it’s a rigid shaft at the bottom where the magnets sit, there is very little give anywhere so this was still a feat in itself. I did actually find that the thrust/ pulses were more pronounced when not attached to a mount which was a nice bonus – but it still didn’t beat the elongated and more exaggerated movement of my FSOG Greedy Girl Thrusting Rabbit, and I found myself yearning for an easier way to get my release. I really persevered with this toy as with the right stimulation I’m usually lucky enough to be able to hit the O from penetration alone, but this was just too much like hard work! Sadly, the angles were just all wrong for my anatomy and although I did manage to eventually climax after a few rounds and some external stimulation, I was just left feeling a bit ‘meh’. This dildo is described as Luxe and for me it was in the sense that I would need the luxury of loads of time to get anywhere near a happy ending with it and to be perfectly honest I would just end up reaching for other toys/ stimulation that I know would do the job, faster, simpler and in the way that suited me and my body better.

Not your average dildo
The first thing I want to do with this review is clear up a little confusion that I had with the toy. The dispatch email and the packaging describe this as an 8 inch dildo. This is the full length. The actual insertable length is 6 inches. Hopefully, the product description makes this clear but it certainly made me wonder what I had signed up for! Once I had it out of the box, and could clearly see if was not as long as I first thought, the toy actually looks like of unremarkable; I would totally scroll past this without a second glance. However, do not let appearances deceive you, this is no ordinary suction cup dildo. It has fast won a place in the box of my fave toys next to my bed. I’m not generally someone who likes larger internal toys, so this is the perfect size for me. It doesn’t look intimidating but is big enough for me. The suction cup is really good, and stays vertically and horizontally even with both motors at full speed. The only thing I would say is that I tried attaching it to my mirrored wardrobe doors and although it stuck fine, the thrust motion made the door rattle like it in was in a gale! It was nowhere near as loud on a wooden chair, so if you intend to use the thrust function together with the suction cup, you might want to find something reasonable substantial to stick it to. Otherwise, the toy isn’t particularly noisy. The thrust is near silent and the vibrations do get a little loud but nothing that a little background noise won’t mask. The controls are nice and simple to use, although part of me wishes they had gone with a different design for the icon on the thrust buttons as it is supposed to indicate up and down (ie the thrust), but in my head that means the speed of the function. It threw me a little on the remote why the up and down button is just one button despite having two arrows. I’m not sure what other icon could be used but I thought I’d mention it to stop anyone else looking at the remote and seeing a pattern button and a speed button, rather than the vibration button and the thrust button! On the subject of the remote, I was a little skeptical as to why it was needed but I did find that when using the toy, the buttons on the shaft were a little awkward to find the right one and I found myself focusing on feeling between the 3 buttons rather than enjoying myself. So, yes using the remote makes things a lot easier. I also love that the remote is rechargeable so no having to worry about any silly cell batteries. Speaking of charging and battery life, this is the major downside of the toy. It does take 3 hours to fully charge the toy from completely drained and a couple of hours to charge the remote. This is a lot. Especially as if you have both motors going at top speed the toy only lasts around 40 minutes. It does last longer if you use just the thrust (or just the vibration I would guess) and if you don’t use the fastest settings but as someone who takes quite a while to orgasm from internally stimulation, I find can’t use this toy from the beginning to the end of my play session, which is a real shame. It also means when I do use it, I do always have to remember to charge it or it will die on me next session. (I am terrible at remembering to charge toys). As I’ve said, this toy has become a favourite of mine, but the battery life is the one thing that does stop me from reaching for it more regularly. I may be being a little unfair here, as much of the Fun Factory Pulsator/Stronic range has a similar battery life and this is cheaper.So, why is it one of my favourites? Well because it feels amazing! The realistic penis style allows you to go for deeper or shallower penetration, making it perfect for all internal hotspots. In particular, I find my G Spot needs a consistent motion for me to orgasm easily and this provides just that, with the ridges and the girth of the toy providing stimulation to my G Spot even if I’ve decided to go for deeper penetration, meaning I can combine great G Spot stimulation which deeper A Spot stimulation, which I really love. The silicone is soft and silky smooth yet nice and firm so the ridges really do hit every nerve ending. Each thrust may only be short, but size really isn’t everything here with each motion adding to what fast becomes a gooey mess. Although there isn’t a huge number of speeds and patterns for the thrusts, what the toy has are really good and are comparable to the aforementioned Fun Factory Pulsators, which do slightly have an edge as they have more speeds and patterns. Because the thrust is powered by magnets, there are no folds to get stuck or to pinch and even strong kegel muscles are not going to stop it.The vibrations are ok. They are more on the buzzy, higher frequency side of the scale and although they are by no means bad, personally I don’t feel they add a lot for me; they just feel like a drain on the battery life! Although, being able to use the toy simply as a dildo or as a vibrating dildo or as a thrusting dildo or a combination is a good thing in itself. However, my G Spot is really particular about vibration and these ones just don’t quite cut it for me. The vibrations are very much concentrated in the head of the toy and don’t travel down the shaft all that well. I would have preferred to feel them in the balls, which I could then use against my vulva, but I think I am being very picky here. The one good thing is that there isn’t any vibration in the suction cup while you are holding it. The only other thing I would say about the toy is that it does get quite hot during use. Not to the extent that it would cause burns, but I can certainly feel it. I do quite like the warmth, especially as it is coming from the thrusting motor which is towards the base of the shaft, so during deeper penetration my G Spot and vaginal opening gets some additional temperature play, which feels great. However, this is a design issue rather than a specific feature, so I thought it worth mentioning. One genuine feature of this toy is that it is harness compatible. It is a little heavy as dildos go so you will need a harness that works well with heavier toys (most likely something adjustable) but it was quite an interesting experience using the thrusting motion. Choosing to just let the thrust do its thing meant I needed next to no focus on the penetration and could both enjoy the experience more and put more energy into doing other things to and with my partner. This would be a really good choice for strap on play if the person wearing the strap on feels disconnected from the play, as they will be able to focus other part of the play (both giving and receiving) not just keeping their rhythm but also for people who have mobility issues that mean keeping a continuous thrust going is difficult. As well as for anyone who enjoys strap on play with 6 inch max insertable length, 5 inch max girth dildos. As I have mentioned, the thrust motion does come from magnets. On the one I received, there is no mention on the box or in the instructions about heart devices. Hopefully this will be amended for later releases or at least put in the product description. I would strongly advise anyone with a heart device to speak to their medical team before using this toy due to the strength of the magnets. In conclusion, I really love this dildo. I wasn’t expecting it to live up to my collection of Fun Factory Pulsators, but it really really does. My only real wish would be if the battery could last longer.

It’s thrust is more a jerking shaking, it’s maybe good if you love vibrations but it’s not that good if you want the motion of thrusting, because this doesn’t have that. So disappointed with it, it did nothing for me and I felt that thrusting was really a misnomer as it isn’t like any other thrusting toys I’ve had. The thrusting that’s described in the product description is more or less a pleasurable tapping. Size, shape, workmanship are all okay to good and I do like the length. Overall it ends up getting filled in my collection as a decent vibrating anal dildo with suction cup. I’ve never had anything near my lower regions before after reading the reviews.The material I’d quite grippy and I recommend that you use a lot of lube when using this thing, or else you risk hurting yourself.It’s very easy to clean, the balls have some grooves in them, but they’re not that challenging to clean. Honestly was a little skeptical but best near £80 I spent. There’s different modes and settling that just hit the spot. Th vibration side of it can be quite powerful in my opinion which is a big plus. The remote fits nicely into you hand and isn’t a issue to control with simple buttons, the overall design has a very nice feel and the girth of it is just enough for me and suction cup is overall fantastic to use when on your own or with a partner, very nice feature adding more realistic features to it as it increased the overall performance. Love it! definitely buy something exactly like this again or similar. The price can be off putting but 100 precent worth it. The vibrations aren’t very quiet when you hit setting 3 onwards but it’s a powerful either way and I’ll take that over a little noise.

Some of the disappointment is on me; i should have viewed the demo video to see how this item worked. I was wondering how it would thrust without a visible bellows but I assumed it would do any sort of action that was like thrusting and I was wrong. I would say the dildo thumps more than it thrusts. It’s a cool sensation and I did orgasm, but I’m regretting the expensive purchase at this point because it’s not at all what I wanted. I have the rabbit vibe that does thrust, but I wanted a dildo without the ears attached. Unfortunately going to have to look again for something better.
