Even when the Tor II is set to 6, it is remains “whisper quiet”, it makes a buzzing sound but without a doubt it is undetectable behind a closed door, I know this because I tested it out myself. This toy is expensive but with a rechargeable battery there is no need to purchase new batteries every time it runs out of juice, you just have to attach it to the included UK mains charger. The Tor II is an investment because in the long run it will actually cost you less than a lower quality cheaper ring, especially if you are an avid user. The Bottom Line is that the Tor II is the best in its category, but it is not for me. When I wear the Tor II it feels tight, uncomfortable and it would leave a red mark on my skin after use. I was hopeful that perhaps investing the extra dollars and having limited success with these style of toys in the cheaper version this might be the key. I should preface I am a difficult orgasmer.
