Brilliant and value for money
This is a brilliant lube and recommended by doctors and the original consistency, unlike the new one supposedly improved formula, seems worse to me and the girlfriend who also made comment its not as thick and irritates, which if i remember correctly seeing in supermarkets around august last year coming out. lets hope KY go back to the original formula which seems much better. Having recently tried vaious other lubes which i like too, this is the first one i tried years ago when getting sexually active for self love, then using with the females too. great value for money,you can spend around £3 on the smaller tubes, i have got a few tubes already in storage as dont want to run out and shall be ordering a few more.

Very good and great value, too
If you imagine a tube of facewash, it’s about that sort of size, so has plenty of what you need! It’s what doctors recommend and does exactly what it says. I use it for my tenga flip hole and it works a treat, at a very good price. A point to note is that if you find you need more, rather than adding more lube, try adding some water. Don’t forget that this lube is water-based so it will dry out over time. Adding water revives it very well (not too much mind you!). This is definitely worth knowing. I’d say it wasn’t as good as the lubricants that came with the flip hole, but it is much cheaper and achieves the same thing. I don’t use this for taste, but I would say that it doesn’t taste very nice, although I understand it’s no harm done if you do ingest it!

Great lube!
I’m normally a devout Durex Play fan, but the short version of this review was that I was actually rather impressed by this KY Jelly! Packaging This tube of KY Jelly comes in a squeezy tube, which arrives in a box. I did find this a tad excessive as the box serves no real purpose, and by the time it got to me it had been crushed a tad in the post. I wouldn’t have minded so much if the box had had some additional information printed on it or contained instructions etc etc, but no. Might not bother some, but the cardboard is trees that don’t need to be cut down, and for those who live with other people and find disposing of such packaging privately, it can be an added pain. The design of the packaging is rather clinical, making it well known that it’s (apparently) the number one doctor recommended brand. It’s reasonably discreet in this respect – you could easily pass it off as a tube of skin cream or whatever and nobody would be any the wiser without closer inspection. I did rather like the shape of the tube as it makes it easy and convenient to use. It’s got a flick open lid and then a hole you squeeze the lube out of, meaning you can have exactly how much you need, although on the flip side it may leak out if you don’t close the lid, which is not a problem with the pump bottles most other lube brands come in. The product I was very impressed by the lubricant itself. I’m a fan of Durex Play because I like my lube to be a bit thicker than most – the sign of a good lube for me is one that I can put on my finger and not run everywhere. I might go as far to say that KY Jelly is the best lubricant I’ve tried to date as I found the consistency to be perfect, being just like a gel. The texture to it is incredibly smooth and I really love it. It is quite noticeable if you use it during sex, although it’s the most natural feeling lube I’ve ever used. If you’ve ever had one of those really wet puddle on the bed sessions before, that’s just what this lube feels like, but without the puddle! At the time I tested this lube, I did have a small cut from shaving just inside my opening (although I didn’t discover this until afterwards) and the first time I had sex that day it was quite uncomfortable, but the second time we used the lubricant and it made things a million times better. The lube itself is odourless, and has the slightest of chemical tastes. This is a small tube, and for £4.99 I was wondering whether it would be worth it, but a little does go a long way. I’d recommend this tube as the perfect beginner’s pack to see if you like it – if you do then Lovehoney sell bigger tubes which I think would be better value for money. Good points – Natural feeling – feels just like a really wet session! – Great consistency, very smooth, no friction at all. – Discreet packagaing Bad points – The box the tube comes in is unnecessary and extra packaging for you to discard. – Despite feeling natural, the use of the lube was quite noticeable to me (compared with a normal sex session with no lube) – The squeezy tube may leak if you don’t close the lid. I think I’ve been converted – next time I need lube I may well buy more of this.

Simply the best
Having tried a number of different lubes over the years, KY is a no brainer for both of us. KY is the only lube that we have both used and both fully enjoyed. Just a small application seems to last an age and leaves no horrible, sticky/gungy residue. When giving oral after use there is no real taste and certainly not tangy. We have also used this lube for anal penetration and found this to be the only lube up to the job, wiping the floor with even the specialised anal lubes like anal eaze. We find ourselves using KY now for the fun of it as opposed to needing it.

KY Jelly - Good Basic Lube
KY Jelly is the perfect basic lubricant. Its great for everyday sex. Being scent free really helps reduce irritation for people who are sensitive to such things, however I still experience a bit of irritation with this product. It does begin to dry out after about 30 minutes. While that is enough time for regular sex it isn’t quite enough for extended sessions. Its water based formula makes it good for vaginal sex but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for an anal lubricant. Basically if you need a good day-to-day lubricant this is the one but don’t expect too much from it.

This is the same good quality lube in a really convenient squeezy bottle that won’t split unlike the traditional metal tube. The classic lube! I have used this for other reasons outside of the bedroom, I found it particularly helpful when I was stretching my lobes! It isn’t too greasy, however it is a little bit on the sticky side, but that isn’t that much of a problem! Best lube ever
Me and my partner were struggling to keep her moist enough during sex. So we bought this lube as it was the first one that came up in Google as a solution. Apparently it is quite cold when you first apply it, but when it warms up it is excellent. It is identical to the natural moisture produced by a woman, so everything still feels natural. Not tried oral after applying this so cannot comment in this area. If you leave it on and don’t wash after use, apparently it becomes slightly sticky.

The one that I keep coming back to
I have been using KY Jelly for as long as I can remember and always have a spare in my cupboard. I do try other lubes as I like to experiment i.e. tingle warming etc. However this is always one that I come back to. Even when trying others I always make sure I have this to hand just in case. Exactly the right feeling
I have always enjoyed using KY jelly as a lube and found it works perfectly. Whereas other lubricants can be sticky, leave a residue or have a strong smell KY jelly works well as a lube but can be washed away just as easily like water. Good value for money, but there are better lubes
When I came across this lube online I instantly recognised the brand from shops and figured I had to try it, given it’s recommendations from doctors. The lube is very thick and is quite a different sensation from other lubes I have tried. This lube is nice for masturbation but for anal play, for me it was a little too thick and gave a little too much resistance in my opinion. On the upsides, the lube is almost totally odorless and washes away cleanly with no fuss. The lube also lasts quite a while before going rubbery.

The best lube I have found to date
Although this lube is one of the cheaper options on the market, its performance is not. I have tried several other lubricants but this one tops them all! The lube itself is not sticky, which makes using it a lot more enjoyable. Also a little goes a long way, allowing it to also be a more cost effective option. I applied it at the start to both myself and my partner and by the end there was plenty left over. Using a lube made the whole experience much more enjoyable. It also allowed for a longer foreplay as we incorporate using this product into ‘getting ready’ which provides more entertainment and enjoyment. A must have
K.Y is my favourite anal lube. As a woman i prefer using a Durex brand for a vaginal lube, however K.Y seems to stay slick for a little longer which is important to me with the anal as there aren’t natural juices to keep you going. Well there isn’t much to say for this lube apart from it is absolutely brilliant!!! The consistency is just right and feels like natural wetness. As this lube is water based you can use it with most toys to makes them just slid on in. With some lubes you get you can get a funny smell to them but this one doesn’t really smell of anything not put off by the smell. I wouldn’t use this lube though if you are thinking of giving oral after or in between foreplay it really isn’t the best thing to taste. You don’t need a lot of this lube all at once but it can go dry but all you need is a little more applied to the area or to your toy or fingers and you are fine. As with some other lubes it can go sticky or tacky when using it or when it has absorbed in but this one doesn’t really you do feel a very slight tackiness but nothing too vigorous. To be honest this lube you really cannot go wrong one of the better lubes out on the market and will always keep reordering this to keep in our collection.

It does what it says on the packaging
The chunkier tube is so much easier to hold and grip than the smaller size. As ever, the contents provide for smooth initial contact. A small blob on a finger feels cool and really does eliminate friction in potentially sensitive areas. I would be reluctant to stroke the OH without KY applied and the tube under the pillow. The reaction from the OH is that it silkily enhances foreplay; and for me, I like the taste.

Basic is best
Lube. We all use it at one point or another, the real question is are they not all the same? No, They are not. This stuff is great. It has a silky texture allowing you to glide right in, and unlike many other brands you are not left with the awkward sticky aftermath. A good plain lube
This comes in a easy to squeeze flip cap tube which means no fiddling about with sticky lids that seem to roll away under the bed. Just flip open ,squeeze on the required amount and off you go! There’s no obvious smell and it’s fairly thick so it goes where you want it to go. It spreads around well and feels good and slippery, I also found it lasted well without having to reapply. Great for use with all sex toys as it’s water based. I’m a big fan of lubes, they really seem to increase sensation during foreplay, the only thing I wasn’t keen on was the taste but that’s a common problem with most lubes I’ve tried . It doesn’t go all sticky or turn grainy or bitty like some others I’ve had. A smallish amount goes a long way and because it’s quite a large tube it lasts for ages. Plain and Simple
I’ve used KY Jelly many a time and although it’s hard to have a bad experience with lube, it’s always been consistently good. I prefer this to other brands as it’s easy to apply and easy to use – whilst also having a neutral smell. It works wonders when used and the hand tube is easily and discreetly stored. The best part is that it’s easy to clean off, whereas some other lubes can be sticky and glue-like. I’d reccommend KY Jell to anyone as a basic lube!

Not like the others
My self and My boyfriend have tried plenty of different Lubes. We normal stick with Durex as its the most ‘common’ brand however we thought that we would push the boat out and try something new. This is the first Lube that actually feels very natural, like how your own wetness feels. It is smooth, silk like and you don’t need a lot for it to work wonders. Unlike Durex i have used this Lube in water and it did for the most part stay and you could feel it however a lot more was needed. Because of how it mimicks your natural wetness we found that doing anal with this lube worked really well, it doesn’t feel sticky or slimy like some do and that can be an unpleasant feeling. We only brought a small bottle first time round and have to say it didn’t last long however you learn from your mistakes and now we buy the bigger one which we both feel you get more out of! I have not tasted this lube so can not comment but it does have a very natural and nutral smell!

Favourite lube
We do have a collection of different lubes about 3/4 of the durex lubes. Some is the heat/tingle ones. But still have found ky jelly to be the best lube available when it comes to anal sex find that is more comfortable and enjoyable as it is natural especially when fingers are involved. We do use it on dildos for vigania sex. It works very well on dildos as it does on male masterbation toys. You do only need to use a little lube each time so you do find that each bottle will last a while.

Great for anal
This is for sure one of the very best lubes out there, especially for anal sex, myself and wife have used this countless times but only for anal sex, my wife doesn’t like it used for vaginal sex, she says it’s too slippery and yes i agree i do end up outside more than inside lol. Not bad as an initial lubricant, but not the best
We have tried using KY jelly a few times, due to it being readily available and a little bit less-conspicuous when at the supermarket, But all in all I don’t find it that good. The lubrication doesn’t last as long as other lube’s, and it can often get sticky or dry very quickly. On the plus side, it doesn’t have a strong odour, so doesn’t leave a lasting smell where used. Have used astroglide ever since, and found it to be a better product for the “intended use”

Not my cup of tea
I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to get an inexpensive lube (yeah they surprisingly sell those there), and decided to go with KY Jelly even though I am more used to a water based lubricant. My previous lube was also from KY so I anticipated it to be similar in quality. When trying it out with my boyfriend and everything was normal at first but a few minutes after applying the lube to the condom, everything became very messy and I felt my inner thighs and hand to feel very sticky. The smell (although my partner didn’t smell anything) became unbearably unpleasant for me. The experience was ruined and I had to go take a shower immediately afterwards. Because this is a gel lubricant, most people would have to wash it off regardless because it stays on for much longer. My boyfriend and I threw it out after its one use but perhaps with a second or third chance it would of been better. Now when it comes to sex, no one should have to give their products too many chances which is why I would recommend anyone who typically uses water-based products to steer clear. It may possibly only be bad luck of this one-time user and overall the product did its job of making penetration easier, however the side effects may not make it worth it.

The perfect lube
I bought this lube because i was attracted by the price compared to many lubes I’ve had that have had special features such as flavour and are expensive. Some lubes I’ve tried have been tacky and messy but this lube had the perfect balance of not being sticky but staying on during sex so there’s often no need for reapplication, and a small amount goes quite a long way. I also find the bottle really clean and easy to dispense the right amount. I honestly couldn’t use toys or have sex without lube, I’ve been hooked ever since I first used it years ago. Many people who haven’t used lube think its just for dryness or discomfort during sex but I find it is essential for direct clitoral stimulation and makes vibrators feel so much more amazing when without they may feel a little too intense. This lube is great for toys because of its gel consistency that doesn’t run all over the toy and your hands. Overall this lube is the best I’ve ever used and its cheaper than other brands too. Its water-based so can be used with condoms but has a great gel consistency. It may look a little understated and not seem as exciting as lubes with special marketing features but as a simple lubricant you can’t get better. It’s also great for anal sex. I should add that its not the best tasting lube to lick off a partner, if you want to do that I would invest in a bottle of flavoured lube too.

The Best

A little goes a long way! No need to keep reapplying it, as I do with other lubes. It also has the advantage of not going too sticky. I’m not a fan of the taste, but it’s in no way unbearable. I thought i would buy the smallest bottle just to try because i had heard good things about KY jelly. Ive only ever used Durex lube so i wanted to try out other companies. But I found when using this product that when its applied, it feels like lube, as soon as it hits cold air, it gets very sticky. Best Lube Around
As of now, I’ve tried many different lubes from different companies. I’ve had lubes from Durex and Pasente and more – but none, absolutely none come close to the KY Jelly. I found this in the pound shop before on discount and thought I’d buy it to try – believe me when I say, I did not leave disappointed. The lube has a nice non sticky consistency that I find nice to use with toys. There’s no smell to it and it cleans off easily. I did find I had to use quite a bit of the product though that may just be a personal preference and reallocation was needed at times when it starts to dry out.

Does the job, but dries a bit too quick for me
This lube does feel quite like natural wetness which is great! It also coats a toy well with a small amount of lube, about the size of a pea is a good amount to cover 5 inches roughly in a good coat. The fact that this lube is water-based is great! It feels quite gentle so is good to use for a wide variety of toys, and is ideal for people with sensitive skin like me. However, I do find that this lube dries a bit too fast for me, as I find myself reapplying quite often when the drag with my toy becomes too rough. This lube can also feel quite tacky when drying which is slightly annoying, and doesn’t feel good. A good thing about this lube is it has no scent, or taste. It doesn’t have any plastic smell, even though the packaging is plastic. I would recommend this lube, however just be wary of the quick drying time and tackiness when drying.

It’s of course the classic lube and does all that you’d expect it to do! I love the small size so you can take it in your handbag without a hassle. It lubes up nicely and has decent staying power. However I am a bit fussy and can’t stand having sticky hands, and this stuff is fairly sticky. I don’t keep baby wipes for eco reasons but was really keen to wipe my hands after using. We have continued to use it but there is a more expensive lube that I prefer.

Can't go wrong with KY
We have tried all kinds of lubes, for anything from regular PIV to using it with toys and can honestly say that KY is the one we always like the most. It does its job and the water-based is what we prefer for easier cleanup.

I feel like KY lube is kind of the most well know out there. It was the first lube I ever used and don’t get me wrong it feels nice, but there are better options out their. It can get kind of gummy and sticky as it dries which is something I don’t really love.

The "basic" lube, absolutely no
The “basic” lube, absolutely no complaints. A little goes a long way, but it’s always good to use a bit more to be sure. Holds on very nicely to anything it’s applied to (including your hands, which can make things messy) and doesn’t stain. I have a very sensitive body and was worried about the glycerin but I am not affected at all. My partner also recommends it for anal. I will be buying more in a larger size once this runs out.

I bought this product along with a toy. Though this product has good reviews, I personally do not like it. The lube was alright and I did have to reapply it a few times but it performed alright. However, the biggest reason I don’t like this lube is because of the smell. I feel like the smell is pretty strong and stayed on me and the toy I used for quite a bit, even after taking a shower and washing the toy. It honestly made me feel gross and I have not used it since. I’d rather go without lube than use this product.

Not a fan of sticky

Great for anal toys

I don’t think I’m ready for this jelly!
Works in a pinch when we’re in need of lube, but it’s not our first choice. Since my husband does most of the “prep work” for us, he described this lube as “sticky, drying, and has a gooey thick texture”. He also complained when he tries to squeeze the bottle lightly, no product comes out, but when he squeezes a little bit harder, way too much comes out, due to how thick it is. On the receiving end, it feels fine but I don’t have much contact with it as my husband does!

KY Jelly may not be as “sexy” as the plethora of other lube options out there, but it gets the job done at a great price. I like that it’s a gel lube, which I find easier to apply to a penis or toy without dripping where you don’t want it like some liquid lubes do. As a water-based lube it doesn’t last as long as silicone lubes, but if you use enough it can last awhile before needing to reapply.

With so many brands out there, it’s hard to know which one to choose. KY is one of my go-to brands as I have never tried one of their products that I was not satisfied with. I have used this product for both vaginal and anal play/intercourse and found it good for both. So for a basic water-based lube, I would say this product does what it should. However, I did feel that this product was slightly runny to be called a jelly. I typically prefer a thicker lube, such as their Ultragel, because it stays where I put it and doesn’t run everywhere. This lube does have to be reapplied fairly often, but not as frequently as some water-based lubricants that I’ve tried. For me, another plus for KY Jelly is that it is body friendly and does not irritate my sensitive skin. With many lubes I do tend to experience some skin irritation with prolonged use, but I have never had that problem with this product. All in all, this product should do the trick for any activity requiring a general water-based lubricant.

One of my first lubes, KY’S Jelly lube was perfect for a solo beginner or a couple just trying to have fun! It lasts quite a while, though it is messy (part of the fun if you ask me 😜). It is easy to wash off and does not leave a sticky residue or smell after being washed off. The thicker consistency was perfect for someone with sensory issues and trouble with vaginal dryness! I recommend for sex or daily usage to minimize discomfort!

Iube is okay but small package, hubby not impressed
I got this for my spouse to use for anal flushing and toys. His main complaint was that the container was only partially filled and since it came in a box, the tube was smaller than it seemed. It won’t last very long.Also, he was not really impressed with the quality either. A little on the goopy side and not very slippery according to him. He relegated it to anal flushes only. Won’t repurchase.
