The Mini Ball Challenge
I’m a big fan of the whole Fifty Shades range of toys so I was thrilled to be given the chance to try out these mini pleasure balls.These are lovely little silver coloured metal balls joined by a silicone cord with a flat metal tag attached at the end with a fingersized hole in it to aid retrieval. The tag is quite large in size especially in comparison to the balls themselves and I found it did become a bit annoying at times, having to keep readjusting it so that it was in a more comfortable position. They come complete with a small satiny silver coloured drawstring pouch to keep them too.Now, I currently use kegel balls weighing 90 g so I thought these at 85 g these ones would be similar in respect of ease at keeping them in…oh how wrong I was! Because these balls are actually considerably smaller in size I needed to use all my inner strength to keep them in. They do feel quite weighty to hold , even in the hand, but I was still not prepared for them to just start slipping out that quickly. You can use a dab of waterbased lube to help with insertion but I found that I really didn’t need any because the metal balls unlike my previous silicone ones don’t have any drag effect and popped in very easily. Once in I had to clench my internal muscles quite hard around them to hold them in place . The first few days I only managed 5 or 10 mins but built up to around 15 for the end of the first week. The second week was better with them staying put for a good 30 mins with each use. Sometimes I used them twice a day and I’m hoping with continued regular use to build up to at least an hour a day in this coming week.I found , to my surprise , that I loved the feel of the cold metal as I put them in. I didn’t feel the balls clanging together once they were inside me and there was no danger of an unexpected orgasm but my god I was literally oozing with wetness by the time I took them out!I have to say that although these little metal devils are a challenge I’m pretty sure they will be worth the effort. I’m looking forward to my pelvic floor being in the best shape ever in the a few months time.Cleaning wise, I just popped them in the sink with some anti bacterial handwash and warm water and afterwards left them to air dry.You may need to rub the silicone cord bit if there’s a build up of lube etc but on the whole they’re very easy to clean.Would recommend if you are looking to upgrade your current lower weight kegel balls and like a bit of challenge. In fact they made me realise just how accustomed I’d got with my other balls.

I want to thank Lovehoney and Brenna for sending me these pleasure balls in exchange for an honest review.Well, I am not familiar with the Fifty Shades of Grey universe, I haven’t read any of the books or seen any of the movies, so I don’t know the “story” behind these pleasure balls. But I have tried my fair share of Ben Wa balls, pleasure balls, kegel trainers or what ever you want to call them.They came, as always, in a plain brown box, so no blushing whilst I was picking it up at the local post office.The pleasure balls is packed in a nice black and white box, along with a pretty, grey, silky storage bag.The pleasure balls are very pleasing to the eyes, they are smooth and shiny – a work of art in itself.The weight of the whole unit is 100 grams. The silicon string that holds the balls together seems sturdy and unbreakable.The balls are 2 cm in diameter and they are spaced 4 cm apart. The pull cord is 13 cm long.I found it a bit difficult to insert due to the flexible string that attaches the two balls (I am used to either two single balls or a kegel exerciser).The first time I wore it i wore it with panties and I placed the cord up against my vulva. I had no problems keeping the pleasure balls in nor did I experience any discomfort from the pull cord or the metal brand.But worn without undies I found the pull cord annoying because of the dangling of the metal brand.It was very easy to clean, just spray on some toy cleaner and run it under the hot water (although pay attention to where the balls and the silicon cord meet)I didn’t feel particularly aroused while wearing these, and since I don’t know the underlying story I didn’t have the help of my fantasy/mental images to get me there.As kegel trainers I think they are OK, but there are better alternatives.

Amazing experience
I put them in, to start with I didn’t really feel them. Then I could fell them as I moved and as time went on, when I clenched, I felt subtle waves of pleasure. It digs in when you move around.I wanted a set I could get up and walk around in but these don’t stay in. As someone who has not had children I found it really surprising that they would just drop out.

These feel great. I love the feel and weight of the metal. Unfortunately I had to get rid of mine after a few uses because they went rusty. Water gets inside the balls when you wash them and there is no way of drying them out.

Amazing when “incorrectly” used
So I wore them for a few hours whilst out but didn’t really feel much UNLESS i sat there and did kegel exercises with them inside me. They are a great weight, and the cool sensation from the metal is really fun when you first put them in. However, they warm up to body temperature pretty quickly. I have found that the weight and size are great for me to feel them and get a bit of a workout down there while also getting me VERY VERY in the mood for further play.I also like that there is a good amount of distance between the balls, so they can move independently but are still connected for easy removal. I have not yet tried any entirely separate kegel balls. I was worried about the tag, but I find that it hangs outside of the body enough to tuck it out of the way, either flat against the panty or, as one reviewer suggested, against the inside of a lip so that the smooth metal provides some minor bonus clitoral stimulation.I also have the 7oz set, which is much more challenging due to its smaller size and weight. Much easier to use
