We were lucky enough to be chosen to review the Lovehoney Fifty Shades of Grey Captivate Mini Dress to review and as always, they arrived in the usual discreet packaging and within a couple of days.The Lovehoney Fifty Shades of Grey Captivate Mini Dress came in very premium looking packaging with a big display of the dress on the front and care instructions on the back. The Lovehoney Fifty Shades of Grey Captivate Mini Dress is the same great quality we have come to know and love from love honey not only looking amazing but feeling amazing too it is soooo soft and comfortable the floral lace feels amazing against your skin.The opening on the bum of the Lovehoney Fifty Shades of Grey Captivate Mini Dress sits perfectly for me and the OH definitely thought it looked great, just surrounding my bum nicely. Normally being a bit a bit taller than average and having a bigger bum anything like this just “pings” up as soon as I bend over but thankfully this is just tight enough to hold the dress in place while bending over but not too tight. I have to say I found the fasteners on the back of the neck a little fiddly to fasten but that may just be me not being used to them and the more I wear it the more I will get used to them but other than that the Lovehoney Fifty Shades of Grey Captivate Mini Dress is a very nice addition to our collection, and I would definitely recommend it.

Too Small/Short
I received this Mini Dress from Lovehoney in exchange for a review. It came in a beautifully sleek, dark packaging but as soon as I got it out of its box, I wondered how on earth it was going to fit. I was sent a size 26-30 (usually wear 24-26 in clothes and 5’5 in height) but it looked like it would barely fit one of my arms! That being said, I tried it on anyway and it was very stretchy! And while it turned out to be much bigger than I initially thought, it is still either too small or too short as it goes over my hips only just and does not fully go over my bum. I imagine that it might be a better fit for someone whose smaller on top. I like the pattern and the style and the fact that it is different from the rest of my lingerie. I will be wearing it, but as a top with matching tights instead of as a dress as intended.

I was thrilled to be asked to test and review the Lovehoney Fifty Shades of Grey Captivate Mini Dress from the Fifty Shades collection for Lovehoney. The range so far is wonderfully luxurious and diverse, so I was very excited to try this little number!The Mini Dress arrived super quickly and discreetly, a definite trademark of the LH standard. No fears of prying eyes! The dress itself is packaged in a detailed cardboard sleeve, depicting the garment on a model along with care instructions. I always try on new lingerie without the other half present, that way if there is any awkward wiggling I can do so without the laughter! Lace bodies can be a bit tricky to work out initially, so I was very thankful for the model image to show me which way around it went! As a size 12-14, it was a bit of a wiggle to work it on, but it got there!The first thing worth mentioning is that the Dress is listed as One Size, or 8-16 found in the small print. It fits very comfortably, but you can see every lump and bump through the pattern. I felt a little bit sausage-esque.The key features of this dress are its peep holes. Between the shoulders, for the boobs, and of course, the butt! Fantastic access points for those into spanking or even just for a quicky!Personally, this did not make me feel sexy, but rather a little uncomfortable. The neckline is beautiful, but overall it would suit a slimmer frame.

This is an amazing sexy spanking mini dress. It fitted the wife really well and was comfortable for her to wear for a good amount of time. The spanking design is a great feature as means she could keep the dress down but still feel the spanking on her skin where usually we would have to lift the dress up. I saw this & I just had to have this gorgeous little number in my Lovehoney lingerie collection.It arrived in a tasteful Fifty Shades box, which has a pic of the lingerie on the front & a beautiful description of what`s inside the box. Spanks Galore
For reference, I’m 5ft6, 36C, size 10 on top and 12 on bottom.Now I love to be on the receiving end of a spank, whether that be with a hand, paddle or crop. I’ve got numerous accessories for the act but until now haven’t had lingerie designed especially for it. I’ve been incredibly impressed with the Captivate range so this dress had a lot to live up to. This is a ‘one size’ piece and when you take it out the packaging it looks tiny. But don’t fret, it’s very stretchy and the size leniency (8-16) is impressive. It slips on with ease and really hugs my curves. I pulled it down below my bum and admired the rear in the mirror. The material is soft and durable, although is the kind that when you take it off it has the tendency to bunch/roll up. It doesn’t do this while being worn though as it has a beautiful lace trim that keeps it in place, even when bent over.The trim elegantly frames your neck with a poppered collar that falls into the cleavage. I don’t have much of a cleavage, especially in a dress that gives no lift or support, but what I do have looks great, and the little peephole at the back of the dress is pretty cute too.I’m not a big fan of the dark lace over the entirety of the dress. It appears quite “busy” and drowns me out a little, however I still feel sexy, and I know that whenever I put this dress on I’m in for a treat.So overall, spanks a million Lovehoney, another great product!

Cute Top Ruined by my Tummy
Upon recieving this I pulled it out of its nice looking packaging and thought to myself “how on earth am I going to squeeze into this”. at a size 18-20 I should fit easily according to the label but as I looked at this slither of dress I did wonder. However, like tights, once you start getting it on you realise it is super stretchy and can accomodate vastly more than you ever imagined. Because of this material it stretches and hugs your body perfectly. As there was no breast support I started out with a plain black bra underneath to keep my 40G’s from sadly drooping towarrds the floor. I absoluely loved how the halterneck looked and how my breasts looked in it and actually didn’t dislike how the bra looked underneath. Later I took off the bra and was pleasantly surprised to see that it did keep them up a little bit, I just lacked tha “wow” factor in my cleavage without my bra underneath. Overall I probably prefer items like this that can be worn with your own bra as I never find the additional moulded cups to be as good at providing support. The lace pattern is cute and flattering. It is the perfect level of see-through where you can just about make out features if you look, but it still leaves a little to the imagination. I absolutely loved the open bum part. I thought this was very flattering from the back and frames ones bottom perfectly for a little kinky fun. The dress stayed in place pretty well even with me being a massive fidget. I am 5 foot 8 and long in the body and I thought the legnth was pretty perfect. The dress stopped just below my arse and I didn’t have to over-manipulate it to get it down there. My only complaint is my stomach ruined the look. I didnt feel like this did me many favours in the tummy department because you could still see my belly and lines underneath it clearly. If the stomach area was opaque (without changing anything about the GORGEOUS chest section) then this could easily become my favourite item. Alas I was just a little self conscious about my stomach still which put me off. I ended up pairing this with an underbust corset to boost my confidence and that looked absolutely fab. Bottom line (pun intended), I loved the top, I loved the open bottom, wish it had a little more stomach coverage.

This looks tiny when you get it out of the packet but don’t be deceived, it does fit! There’s plenty of stretch in it and I think the sizing is spot on! I’m a UK size 26-28 with a D/DD bust so in the middle of the target size range and it fits comfortably. I did stretch it out before putting it on which I would recommend to make life easier. The quality of the dress is really high as you’d expect from the Fifty Shades range. It made me feel really sexy as soon as I put it on. I felt slinky which isn’t something I can normally say and it was a real confidence boost!The neckline is really really flattering and I think it would suit everyone, no matter their bust size.It exposes and frames the backside perfectly and nothing gets in the way of access! You could easily wear a thong or something with it if you choose and it wouldn’t spoil the effect or effectiveness of the dress. It got a huge vote of approval and jaw drop from my ‘friend’ who is now even more eager to meet up once COVID is under control and I’m under strict instructions to wear this! Not that I have any complaints about that whatsoever. It rolls up a little under my bum but this is possibly due to my body shape and doesn’t detract in any way, just worth mentioning! I’ll put this on as a pick me up even if I’m not doing anything or seeing anyone, just because it feels so good!

Ok so this is lovely but it does roll up the bum to ur back so you don’t get long to view it or you have to keep pulling it down, not a lot of stretch at the neck either (I’m a size 10/12) I don’t regret buying it though and it’s good material so could very easily wear again, I’d maybe try it with a thong or crotch less underwear next time just to mix it up a bit or an excuse to wear again lol
