Not so subtlety sexy
I received this from lovehoney to write a review for and I didn’t really know what to expect as I don’t own anything like this. All my lingerie is very girly, you know, all the usual lace and frills type items but for some reason I was instantly drawn to this when I saw it on the testers list. It comes as a two piece set; a basque and a G string, all trimmed nicely with studs which gives it a very bondage look. All you need to finish the look are some stockings. I expected the material of this to be more plasticy due to the wet look nature but it’s actually made of stretchy, comfortable polyester and spandex. It’s quite similar in feel to swimwear which I like. I got a size small/medium and I am a size 8 and 34B in bras. Around my waist this fitted perfectly and the g string is very comfortable. The collar part is attached by Velcro and is slightly adjustable in size but is very comfortable to wear around the neck due to the stretchy nature of the material. However, the straps that frame the breasts I found to be a little loose. Not so loose that it looked really bad but it definitely would work a lot better for someone with bigger boobs. Overall the quality of this lingerie is pretty good but there are a couple of things I noticed that are worth a mention: Firstly, the suspender clips. The plastic bit on the clips that goes under the stockings isn’t actually secured to the metal part of the clip. It is just folded through and therefore kept falling out. Once I managed to attach the clips to the stockings they stayed on pretty good but it was just a pain getting there. Also you need to make sure you close the suspender clips before washing or you could quite easily lose the plastic back strips. The other issue wasn’t discovered until after washing. I followed the instructions for once and washed on a cool wash and hang dried it, and although it came out almost perfect there was a little bit of fraying on the stitching that attaches the fabric to the O rings but nothing that a quick snip with some scissors won’t fix. Overall I do like this basque set. It leaves nothing to the imagination and I feel really sexy wearing it. It has more of a bondage look to it that I absolutely love and my husband couldn’t keep his eyes or his hands off me!

Looked great, quality let it down
We bought this with a few other items, including the lovehoney strap-on. I have to say my wife looked amazing in this, particularly with the strap-on as well! My wife really liked this (in fact she chose it when we had a combined shopping spree) said is was really comfortable and we both really liked the look of it. This is made out of the usual wet-look lycra type fabric, with stud detail in places. All went very well while it was ‘in use’ and we were both very happy with it. However the next day we found a couple of the studs in the bed, and my wife washed this by hand in warm water, only for some more of the studs to come off and one of the suspender clips to break. These problems may well have been a one-off, or it could have been a bad batch, but I returned it to Lovehoney for a refund (which they did without question)

Large if you are size 6/8
I ordered the costume to spice things a bit with my partner. Unfortunately, it didn’t look flattering on me. I am size 6/8 and have 34C. The costume itself was large on me, I had to tuck it over the neck so it fitted right under my boobs. Second as I have a cup C, my boobs are loose and this costume made them look even more down, which In my opinion didn’t look sexy. It would look good if you have either smaller breasts or the ones like the model on the photos has.

Ordered a XL because thats usually my size but this was too big, if the neck starp could come in a little bit it would’ve been perfect but I have a short torso and it was just too loose around the neck and breast, and I have large breasts.
