Mmmmm, warm
I just love these beautiful candles! I bought them as part of my husbands birthday present and we both adore them. They come in a beautiful little organza bag, making them perfect as a gift. I am a qualified massage therapist, but this was the first time i had ever used warm oil. We lit the candle and sat there like a pair of horny teenagers, waiting for the wax to melt. The smell as it burns is beautiful, not over-powering or sickly, just perfect. We waited for about 5 minutes until enough wax had melted. I poured the warm oil into my hand before massaging it into my husbands back. It has a really lovely smooth velvety feel and is probably the best massage oil i have ever used. Once i had finished his massage it was my turn….i laid down and couldn’t help flinching at the thought that hot wax was about to hit my back. I needn’t have worried……DH poured it into his hand and smoothed it across my back, it was wonderful. It feels like being wrapped in a lovely warm towel, really soothing and comforting. It leaves your skin feeling really soft and moisturised. Polynesia is my personal favourite, but they are all fab.

Great Therapy Any Which Way
Everyone should have one – such a versatile product. I had been having candle massages as a spa treatment and was just about to shell out for the candles they use when I spotted these whilst shopping on Love Honey – less than half the price. The great thing about these candles is that they are 100% Vegan and include loads of natural goodies for your skin. Because you use the melted oils from burning the candle, it is delightfully warm. The scents in this trio are slightly sweet & sickly but there are plenty to choose from in the range. Very useful product, especially with any flight hand luggage rules as is a solid not a liquid at room temperature and lends itself to all sorts of uses from quality moisturising to hot licking (all the contents are lickable).

Versatile heaven
Fantastic product, they smell divine, they are a perfect temperature when melted. Perfect for hot licking as well as massage which is a great idea to combine uses. Fantastic Massage
I ordered this as my OH and I were going away for a night (no kids), and bought a few things to liven up the afternoon/night. This was more of an afterthought for a massage, thought i’d try something different, away from the lubes on offer. Didn’t disappoint,, packaging looks very nice, and the aromas from each tin were fantastic. I would say only negative point was didn’t realise it would take so long after lit to get enough melted wax to give a decent massage (between 30-45 mins), but as my wife was trussed up like a hog anyway (Hog Ties) i soon found other things to do while waiting. The wax itself, was lovely, completely non-sticky (hate the sticky stuff), and leaves a fantastic sheen on the body, which leaves it in a nice smooth condition. Should definitely try this product,,completely worth the money.

Perfect For a Romantic and Sensual Massage
Polynesia: I was going to say this was my least favourite, but actually I’ve found the smell grows on you over time. It’s very floral, as one reviewer put it rather potpourri-like, but more fresh smelling than cloying as it has citrus undertones (lemon I think), and it has a hint of soapy smell to it. Dreamsicle: My least favourite, but still definitely useable; it smells like orange flavour calpol and the crystallised mix you can get to make “hot orange” with. Quite simple just mandarin and orange with a hint of lime and lemon zest. More useful for a daytime massage I would say as the smell is invigorating. Skinny Dip: my 2nd favourite of the 4. A cool caramelised vanilla, with a dab of menthol (think the smell of buttermints, only less sweet). This is a fairly rich, sweet and girly scent, so perhaps not suitable for use on your very butch O/H.. my beta male bf is fine with it though 😉

I wish I'd found out about these years ago
These candles look, smell and feel amazing and I dread the day that one of them runs out because then I’ll have to pick a favourite to re-order. All three flavours smell – dare I say it? – orgasmic. The scent doesn’t exactly permeate the room but when you have a candle going you’re going to take the time to smell it, especially if you’re using it for a massage. These candles melt to a comfortable warm temperature that isn’t at all a shock when it first comes in contact with skin. Your hands will glide smoothly over the skin with the help of these candles. They provide a simply pleasant, calming experience and are a must-have if you like to incorporate massage into your sexy time, or even just as a relaxing ritual at the end of your day. I feel like I’ve used each of these candles a huge number of times and yet, looking at them now, they’re all still over half full. They really do last a lot longer than expected. The only downside is they relaxed me so much I just wanted to drift off to sleep, and really, that’s not such a terrible thing. I never knew massage candles existed so I thank you for enlightening me, Lovehoney!

Excellent Candle Set
These little massage candles are superb quality and contains no nasty chemicals. They are also Paraben and Phalate free and contains all natural ingredients, and so tick all my boxes. You get 3 different candles in this set, Skinny Dip, Dreamsicle, and Guavalava. Each candle smells divine and there is sure to be a fragrance to suit everyone in this set. The tins may seem quite small (holding 60 grams each) but the candles have lasted ages – I have had at least 2 massages from each candle so far, and will probably get a third one too. After lighting the candle, wait around 10 minutes to let the wax melt out to the edges. Whilst you are waiting for the oil to melt you can enjoy the lovely aroma in the room, which will make you feel really in the mood for a lovely relaxing massage. When the oil has melted you just blow out the wick, and pour the oil onto your partner’s body either direct from the tin or onto your hand first. The oil itself is really moisturising and a gorgeous texture. A little goes a long way, and it leaves your skin feeling so soft and smooth . You could also leave it on your skin as a body moisturiser afterwards as it feels so silky and nourishing I didn’t feel the need to wash it off. Overall this is a really lovely candle set, and great value for money. They feel very luxurious on your skin and would make a wonderful gift.

A smelly massage
My girlfriend loves me using these.the tins are small but OMG the smell is gorgeous-it just wants to make you eat each other like in the bookmovie perfume-crazy stuff.The packaging is cute too,however the candles did burn in a bit of a strange way so not all the wax/oil was used before the wick burned out.however its given the lady and I an idea to put them all together by recycling the left over a into one tin with a new wick and creating a super smelly massage candle.good product,the lady will love you for it,her body is a temple.get it.

How have I only just found out these exist
The scents are fruity but not sickly, which is great as I’m not a fan of overly sweet smelling things. The Skinny Dip is almost like vanilla, Guavalava has a feint scent of watermelon and Dreamsickle is orange-y. The scents are quite natural and not chemically. They take about 20 minutes for a decent amount to melt which isn’t too long, giving you time to appreciate the lovely scents. Once melted, the oils are a lovely warm temperature when poured onto the skin, not boiling hot like you would imagine. It leaves your skin feeling soft and smelling divine. I have quite dry and sensitive skin so at first I was a bit wary that I might react to this, however I felt moisturized and fabulous afterwards. I find that products containing vitamin E and hemp are great for sensitive skin meaning this was great for me as I could also use them as a moisturizer as well as a massage oil!

Bliss
I am in love. I’ve wanted massage candles for ages, and finding out my OH likes candles too, they were on order straight away. Unfortunately it took a couple of weeks to find the time to use them, but having smelt them and lit it a couple times as a normal candle, we used skinny dip, which is a lovely vanilla type smell (my favourite). Dreamsicle smells citrus-y, and Guavalava is quite like watermelon. We waited about 15 minute and that was a good amount of oil, which my OH poured straight onto my back. Lovely and warm, and the smell is just everywhere. Not a greasy texture, and my skin feels nice and soft now. He did say that didn’t go very far, but he did use it spread quite thin. I’d recommend these to anyone – in fact, I did as soon as I was able to!

Lovely accessory for a romantic evening
Got these to treat my Sexy Lady on a weekend away. Straight away the tins look lovely and classy giving a good quality feel, and the smell as you open them hits you straight away, my personal favourite is the Skinny Dip with its Vanilla scent, but the other two scents are just as good. On the first use we used one candle in addition to numerous tea lights for a candle lit bath, This gave the candle plenty of time to melt to give more than enough wax to use. The wax itself doesn’t get to hot and can be used straight away either poured into your hands before administering the massage or our favourite way is dripping the hot wax straight on to the body which feels amazing. The texture of the wax as you use it to massage is smooth and little goes along way. It allows your hands to glide smoothly over your loved ones sexy bits as you massage, leaving no oily or greasy residue as you can get with some massage oils. Another pleasant bonus is that you don’t get a nasty taste in your mouth when you start to kiss and lick the massaged skin. On subséquent uses we have found that if want to use spontaneously It can take up to 15-20 mins for enough wax to use which can kill the mood, we find that the best use for these is for a planned eve where they are used to provide light for a bath or meal then they are ready to go when you are.

Cute collection of candles
I was somewhat disappointed by this trio, I received Dreamsicle, Skinny Dip, and Guavalava and the Guava one was the nicest by far! After burning all 3 of them they all smelt nicer once the wax had cooled. It took me a while for the other scents to grow on me; dreamsicle is nice with an orange-cream flavour, skinny dip smells waxy and slightly artificial to me. These candles do not taste nice! They are supposed to be lickable but, whilst they contain edible ingredients, you wouldn’t really want to lick this massage oil off someone’s skin. On the plus side, the massage oil that the melted wax turns into is beautiful, and the tins can be used for something else after they are used up. I would still buy these again and am keen to try other scents in the range.

Lovely scented massage
If you have a partner that is any good at massage then these candles are a lovely treat for the bedroom . They smell delicious and scent the air but the real aroma is released when the melted wax is rubbed into your skin by some nice firm hands. The smell is not cloying and the oil/wax sinks into your skin quite quickly when its rubbed in. I have also used these to scent my clothes by taking a lid off and putting one in each of my drawers. I bought these when they were on offer and they were worth every penny. Delivery was quick as always.

Heavenly hotness
I love these candles! Bought these to introduce my OH to wax play and as he was a bit nervous I thought I’d start off with something not too scary. As soon as you open the parcel you can smell the candles. They come in a nice little bag so they don’t look out of place on your dressing table/bedside table or laid out in their individual pots. They each smell divine and fill the room quickly with their aroma. They melt quickly enough to start playing after some foreplay but if you like your wax really hot leave them to melt completely for a good 45mins before you start. Having really sensitive skin I have to careful with which products I use but these left my skin smelling and feeling great. We’ve even used them just as candles without playing because they smell so good. I didn’t like the taste of any of then but OH didn’t mind them and said the skinnydip one was actually quite tasty.

Nice little set
I bought these to go with the Lovehoney hot massage rocks and because I liked the idea of lickable massage oil. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I didn’t think they tasted of very much, but otherwise they were great. They melt quickly to form a nice, fairly thick massage oil and smell incredible when they are poured on the skin (they’re not super fragrant when they’re burning, though). Skinny Dip has a vanilla-y scent, Dreamsicle smells like orange sweets (Starburst?) and Guavalava (my favourite) is a bit like watermelon. They don’t sink in completely but are easy to wipe off afterwards and leave skin feeling gorgeously soft. Even though they’re small, they last a long time and would probably do at least 4 massages each.

A must-have
We got these just to try them out. They worked so well, they were easy to use and felt and smelt amazing. Using these to rub over each other was suck a good feeling, plus they made our skin so soft. We had the fear of hot wax dripping over each other, but that wasn’t the case, it was cool just as you dropped it.

If you have never tried something like this then these are for you. They aren’t to hot don’t leave wax everywhere and smell great. I got these as a gift and I absolutely love them! They all smell divine and they last surprisingly long. I have tried many different massage candles and what I love about this trio is that it is perfect travel size! It is also great if you are unsure which one is your favorite and want to give them a try. Not all massage candles comes with a lid, so I really like the packaging. It is classy and smart. The wax doesn’t get too hot. It feels great when the melted wax is poured onto the skin and the warmth adds something extra to the massage. The oil leaves the skin moisturised and soft without getting sticky. If you are curious about wax but scared candles would be to hot, this could be a first step. The oil doesn’t get to hot and it is easier to experiment with. For added fun, try a blindfold.

Best night ever
These 3 little candles rocked our world when we tried them. Having never tried hot oil being poured onto my skin before, i can honestly say that this gave our night of pleasure a massive boost. Nice but not great
I brought these for me and my gf to give our massage experience something a little different. The positive reviews gave this a good chance of working. They smell great unfortunately whilst they feel great, they dry to quickly so the massage doesn’t get the same momentum as when using oil. The friction comes rather quickly, and you need more, the candle died and when trying to relight the wick broke. Whilst they are a lovely idea, the reality unfortunately didn’t live up to expectation

I purchased the trio after trying a similar massage candle from a spa I visited which I must add was very pricey. These are an absolute steal if you’re looking to set the mood for a night between the sheets or just wanting to relax and relieve some tension without the hefty price tag. Absolutely perfect for bringing you and your partner closer and rekindling that intimacy in your relationship. The smell of all three of these are amazing and feel beautiful on the skin. I like to leave the candle to burn for around 20 mins, turn down the lights and get comfy. You don’t need to much of the oil as a little really does go a long way. Will be purchasing again these are definitely a go to. If you haven’t tried massage with your partner I would certainly give it a go. Relax, release the tension and see what else it leads to!

Hot to Trott
All of these candles smell amazing! The low melting temperature makes it less painful to pour than your everyday candle which will ease your other half into the whole candle wax kink. You can use the wax without lighting the candle, the body heat melts it down in no time. This is perfect for calming the atmosphere and is great for foreplay into sensual sex. Only issues I’ve found are that the wick can be hard to find and you have to uncover it before you can light it, the wick is also quite short so burns out rather quick and you are left with about half a tin of wax. Because of the low melt temperature and the box being delivered on a very hot day, the wax melted and ran out of the tins making a giant wet patch on the box which probably meant the delivery person questioned what was inside.

Not great candles
I spent 40 bucks on these candles mostly because I wanted to have a fragrant candle burning in my room. They really don’t serve that purpose so the whole two-in-one is a little misleading. They didn’t stay lit/burn consistently and the actual oil made me a little itchy (& my skin’s not particularly sensitive)

Brilliant for a sensual massage experience
I purchased these as a Valentines present for my partner and I to use. After a romantic dinner we lit one of these candles (Skinny Dip) which smelled gorgeous.I poured the candle onto my hands and was pleasantly surprised by the heat – not hot enough to burn or cause pain, but lovely and warm. The temperature of the oil really heightened the experience of the massage, no more gasps of surprise from cold massage oil!The texture of the oil was better than I expected, not waxy at all but smooth and silky. Great smelling and heat
Brought these for a dirty weekend with the OH….. they melt quickly and smell amazing, when your ready to pour into each other they are warm enough to make you gasp in pleasure but to hot to cause any pain. The oil itself spreads really well on the body and is a great start to a great evening!

Defective Product? Did not work for us
We ended up receiving a refund for these – much appreciated that we were able to do so. The wicks burned out within a minute of being lit – and I have tried all three of them now so it’s not just a fluke. Anyway the way the wick burned didn’t give the wax much time to melt. If we turned the candles upside down and re-lit the wicks, spinning them around to get as much wax melted as possible they did a reasonable job of melting and achieving their expected purpose. The scents are great, just not what we were looking for in terms of burning quality. Hopefully other peoples’ sets work better.

They burn terrible, wick almost went out during the melting process, after half hour had enough to do my wife’s shoulders, resorted to turning tin on side to let flame burn bigger and against wax to make it melt. Left a horrible residue on our skin. Smelled nice in tin, once lit there was not scent to speak of. Very disappointed.

Easy to use, and smell great!
All three candles smell great; have only used the Guavalava one so far. The oil was dripped directly on to skin, and was hot but not nearly at risk of burning. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be using them again!

Great fun for temperature play!
Firstly the scent of each candle is absolutely divine! Guavalava is definitely the favourite between my partner and myself, with Skinny Dip and Dreamsicle coming in very close joint second. The wax melts very quickly and evenly across the surface, and the longer you let it burn for, the more wax you get to play with! The temperature is just right to leave a little stinging, but nowhere near hot enough to leave burns. These work great on skin with eczema as well which is a massive bonus for us!The melted wax turns into a super smooth and silky massage oil that leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated. It doesn’t leave any sticky residues, and the skin doesn’t feel tacky after use either, which can be common with other similar products. If some gets on any soft furnishing like bedsheets, there’s no staining or marks left behind afterwards, but the scent sticks around for a very long time! Whether that’s a pro or a con is down to you!They arrive nice and neatly stacked in their own little bag, which makes it easier to keep them all together, especially when travelling with them for fun on the go!Overall a great product that has provided a good amount of fun and intimacy for us in the bedroom, would definitely recommend!

A nice treat
I wasn’t sure what to expect with these massage candles, but they’re actually really nice if you want something a bit different from normal massage oil. I like that you light them for a bit first, then blow them out and use the melted oil it makes the whole thing feel a bit more like an event rather than just grabbing a bottle of oil.The oil itself is really moisturising and makes your skin feel soft afterwards rather than greasy. The scent stays lightly on your skin, which is quite nice. My favourite scent is probably Dreamsicle because it’s fresh and not too sweet, but the others are nice depending on your mood. They honestly all smell so nice though ! They’re also good because they don’t make loads of mess. Once the oil soaks in, it’s just like moisturiser, and whatever is left in the candle just sets again ready for next time. They seem like they’ll last quite a while as you don’t need loads each time.I’d say these are good if you want something relaxing and a bit romantic without it being complicated. Nice for massages, nice after a bath, and just generally a bit of a treat rather than an everyday thing. I also found the anticipation of waiting for the oil to fall on you quite exciting as you expect it to be hot just because it’s a candle (it isn’t just slightly warm!) so I think that’s quite fun.
