I was curious about trying this flickering tongue vibrator as oral has never been something that really gets my juices flowing so to speak so the thought of a toy imitating a tongue made me think it probably wouldn’t do much for me but I was pleasantly surprised! Firstly when receiving the toy I did have a giggle at the packaging with a picture of the Dr who designed the toy and also with a picture of the sea in the background, which I thought was a bit weird but that’s easily forgotten about once its in the bin. Out of the packaging the toy is made out of silicon so has a lovely smooth feel to it and the tongue shaped part of the toy has a small curve in it and is a few inches long so its actually like a real tongue when placed against the clit. To insert the two AA batteries you simply unscrew the base and slide them inside, I did find trying to screw the base back on a bit fiddly though. To switch it on you press the button in the centre of the base of the toy. Once I switched it on I was really shocked at just how quiet this toy was, its great if you need to be discrete as its literally whisper quiet! When it comes to the vibrations they are pretty good to say the least. The lowest setting is still fairly strong and I probably could have happily kept it on that setting whilst using the toy but my curiosity got the better of me! The highest setting whilst is more powerful isn’t quite as powerful as id have thought but I wouldn’t knock the toy for that at it still delivers great vibrations besides the flickering movement of the tip adds a completely different dimension to how using a bullet on your clit would feel. Its a different type of stimulation which I loved, whilst it may not be as strong as 1 or 2 of my bullets I would still easily pick it over them for when I want something other than just a “buzzing” feeling. Another bonus is that the vibrator is waterproof so I shall definitely be venturing into the shower with this toy at some point!

Usually I use the Basics Love Egg for clitoral stimulation, because it’s powerful and I can stuff my knickers with it and play hands-free. Three AA batteries – no messing around trying to find Cs or whatever. It really does move like in the video, so fast and, providing you keep the pressure moderate, the ‘licking’ sensation is toecurling. Even though I’ve been using a gspot vibe on m clit, this was still really, really intense, even on the ‘lower’ setting. I usually have multiple orgasms one in every ten, but I’ve used this twice since getting it and have had one both times. Quietness isn’t really an issue for me, as I don’t share a flat or anything, but it’s quieter than some clit vibes I’ve had. The only down side is that I like to come down gently, and usually switch to a low setting on my egg to ride it out, but with this there’s no low setting. I enjoyed turning it off and using it to ‘lick’ gently, but the tip was just slightly too thin, and it kept catching my clit and making me shiver. It seemed rather powerless to me and since I knew they were brand new batteries I knew it wasn’t them so I turned it up to the highest setting and still no power. It was quiet and yes the tongue was flicking but by no means was it powerful for me. I was determined to make this work so I lathered on some lube and tried to get down to business. This is one of the best toys. My lasted for years and now I need a new one. Wish I would have stocked up so I never had to be without one of these again.
