Since the beginning of our relationship, my husband and I have always been intrigued and interested in anal hooks and exploring different types of play with them, but never really had the confidence to make that step to purchase one. When Lovehoney asked us to road test and review this item we were absolutely thrilled at the opportunity and jumped right in. This product arrived quickly and discreetly as with all Lovehoney deliveries. We eagerly opened the package to reveal the smooth, hard, steel anal hook noting just how big and intimidating it really is. I feel like while this is listed as a small anal hook, it is still relatively large and would be perfect for everyone no matter how experienced. I would, however, thoroughly advise that if you are trying an anal hook for the first time, you purchase this smaller size rather than the larger one as this anal hook is still a fair size. The anal hook itself is very smooth and sleek and has a certain elegance to it. It is completely rigid and while the bar may look thin, it is very sturdy and doesn’t bend at all. The ball of the hook is removable which makes clean up an absolute breeze. The top of the hook features an ‘O’ ring style extension meaning that you can easily connect this to chains, ropes or any other restraints you would like to use. The first time we tried the DOMINIX Deluxe Bondage Stainless Steel Small Anal Hook we didn’t add any restraints or ropes, we decided to test the waters so to speak by using the item in a doggy-style position. The first step that you should always take when using this product is make sure that the ball is screwed on properly and tightly. We added lashings of lube to the ball of the hook, part of the hook itself and to my anus, my partner then eased the ball of the hook in to me anally and used the ‘O’ ring at the end of the hook to keep my bottom held up. At first the steel felt so cold on my skin and gave me great pleasure as it entered me. The temperature definitely adds to it and I feel this could also be something that could be played around with (carefully as steel will get very hot or very cold quickly!). Once the ball was inside me it warmed up pretty quickly and I felt every little movement being made by my partner gently tugging on the handle. Amazing
When my partner first suggested getting an anal hook I was very apprehensive. Initially the suggestion for getting it was because I find it hard to keep still whilst in doggy style, and often end up moving forward and off him when I cum – he was wanting to be able to keep me still and in place for him to do what he wanted with. Fantastic play

A whole new experience

I can see why these are quite popular, and I’m so happy I bought one, only wish I went for the medium size! This is definitely something you want to use with other gear rather than on its own. It was easy to insert and fit nicely inside, and is very easy to clean. The ball can be unscrewed which I found quite handy, so cleaning is no trouble at all. Also means I could use a larger ball if I happen to come across one somewhere! There’s no fault as far as I’m concerned, only wish I went for the bigger size! If you’re into restraining, obedience, etc., then this is the perfect piece of equipment, maybe even a necessary!
