I bought this Open Gag as a first timer product user – I chose this Silicon one as I was nervous about the metallic type ‘feel / taste’. I chose right – not because the metal one is no good – I haven’t tried it, but because this Silicon one is just perfect. It sits in the mouth comfortably and is just sooo easy to put on and wear. The OH loves it too…!!!!

I have to say that this silicone o-ring gag is fantastic – it looks very classy, is extremely well made and there is absolutely no taste to the silicone at all. The straps are also made from silicone on the outside and are very comfortable on your face. The straps feel lovely, and are nice and sturdy too. I have often found with gags that straps are not small enough for me, but this gag is very adjustable – from 14” to 20.5” – and was perfect for me. Once the gag is in place it does feel quite extreme. The actual O-ring feels quite large and is not one that I could keep in for a long time like a ‘bit’ gag for example – but with this gag comfort isn’t really the point! The openness of the O-ring style obviously can make things quite messy – but this doesn’t bother me at all. I love how vulnerable I feel when wearing this – especially when tied up and blindfolded, which just adds to the excitement! Overall I would highly recommend this O-ring gag! It is very well made and excellent quality.

Bought this as the open mouthed aspect was extremely appealing to us both and as the packaging photo demonstrates, it makes you look incredibly yielding. The silicone strap is very flexible and durable and sits comfortably across the face, even when buckled tightly and the O ring seems sturdily attached. Having very sensitive teeth, the silicone covered O ring was a huge factor in purchasing this over a metal ring gag, it was soft enough to bite down on and didn’t feel like it was chafing when in contact with my gums. The diameter of the ring itself will maybe not accommodate the, ahem, fullness of your partner if you’re looking for a particularly deep experience, but is certainly utilisable and we both found my drooling, outstretched tongue enough compensation! I found the diameter just enough of a stretch to achieve the desired effect without making it too uncomfortable for a longer session. The extent to which I would be able to have my mouth prised open was also something I wanted to ascertain before maybe experimenting with a ball gag and in that respect I would recommend the gag to anyone similarly curious in stepping up from fabric ties.

I ordered this at the same time as the Bondage Boutique Advanced Dildo Mouth Gag, as we couldn’t decide which one would keep me quiet during a light spanking session. This arrived extremely well packaged and of course arrived next day – expect nothing less from Love Honey! The product itself looks and feels good. I was a little uncertain about the material when I ordered it as we do not own any other silicone products, but I can assure you that this has no smell and no taste – perfect for something that is likely to stay in your mouth for some time! The strap fitted me perfectly – I am a 5ft 10 male. The option to use a pad lock to keep it safe and secure is an added bonus, which of course we took full advantage of. All was looking great with this product, until I realised that I could flip it in my mouth. This really did ruin the experience for me as the sense of being trapped and helpless was lost; I was back in control and that isn’t want I wanted. All was not lost though… we had ordeed the Dildo Mouth Gag… an idea stuck… why not use both at the same time…..!?! OH MY WORD!!! What an experience that gave!! The O-ring forces your mouth open. The Dildo Mouth Gag fits perfectly through the ring and makes sure you cannot flip it. The combination also felt safe as it is easy to breath around both items, yet at the same time you feel helpless (in a good way, of course!) as you can’t bite down hard, nor can you flip the ring. So I recommend purchasing both together for a thrilling experience. On its own, the O-ring has its ‘flip it’ flaw as described. I notice that Love Honey now sells an 0-ring with a spider like attachment which should solve this issue, but that is metal and I’m really not keen on putting a metal item against teeth. The alternative to use the Dildo Mouth Gag at the same time is a much better option for now.

This is my second open mouth gag, the first being sold mental with absolutely no five at all. With the mental I ring gags one small accident and you could crunch down and destroy your teeth. Another thing with these gags, how on earth do they fit in your months? This was bought for us both but it didn’t fit between our teeth, luckily the silicone gag could be bent just ever so slightly to fit between the teeth. I’m happy with this gag, no cut mouth and the straps are well made.

This is a very good quality item. It is well made and has plenty of buckle holes in the strap to fit a wide range of heads. Sadly however my wife’s gape is too small for it to fit snugly behind her teeth, which has scuppered our plans somewhat! This said, the ring is slightly too narrow for me to insert myself into it comfortably, so it seems we were perhaps too ambitious with our plans rather than the problem being with the product. My partners girth was too large to fit into the O ring, and when we were finished my jaw was hurting from having my mouth open for so long, although this probably says more about my stamina than the product. We chose this gag as we wanted one with the smooth parts connecting the metal ring to the rest of the strap. We have previously tried others that connect straight to the ring and these are very uncomfortable. This gag was much better in that respect. The smooth silicone was easy on the sides of the mouth, however even the small size was found to be a struggle. Both me and her found it difficult to keep in for more than a few minutes. Even on tight settings the gag could be easily pushed out. If you push the bottom with your tongue it will rotate forwards. From there you can push the ring out completely with little effort. Both me and my partner were able to easily push it out.
