Ever since I can remember I have had a real fascination with anal hooks, there is just something about being left immobilized, at someones mercy and torn between that mix of pleasure and pain that was so intriguing. So when this popped up on Lovehoney, I was seriously excited. In true LH style my package arrived with my posty (and totally made my week) so it wasn’t long before I was tearing it open to gaze upon it in all its glory. I can’t say a lot about packaging, as it kinda just is just a plastic bag but I sure would of loved it even more if it was a satin one. However saying this when you see the size of this thing (even minus the ball) I think you’d struggle to find one big enough. When I first saw this pop up I took in the measurements, but even when I got my hands on it I still couldn’t believe how big this thing is! At 11inches in length and made of cool stainless steel, a first glance at this thing makes me tingle as it’s very intimidating. Being made of stainless steel is fairly weighty but so shiny, smooth and beautifully curved right down to the ball itself, which seriously means business as it sits in the palm of your hand and isn’t far off the size of a golf ball. This isn’t a toy to be messed around with. Use of the DOMINIX Deluxe Stainless Steel Anal Hook: There is the option to use this toy on your own, vaginally or anally (oh so awesome being a girl) but the best thing about this is the bondage predicament play with a partner. There are so many ways to enjoy (or not if you are the one who is being toyed with) this toy, I could just go on for days. Before you start is worth mentioning you need a good work up to it if you’re going to insert this anally, as it’s certainly not the most tiniest of balls and secondly to ensure that the ball itself is secure and screwed on so damn tight to avoid any unwanted accidents (oh God can you imagine the horror?!). Fully restrained and blind folded, my partner looped some hemp rope several times around the ring at the top of the hook. After a little working up to insertion, the cold metal is intensified more so with lashings of lube and is shockingly good as it slides inside and after securing the rope around my neck to a tension he was satisfied with, he eventually left me to deal with my dilemma. This is such a unique feeling to be stuck, tied and immobilised between the hook forcing itself deeper inside, to the tugging of the rough rope around my throat as my neck tired. It was such a memorable moment of being totally exposed (and you are) and in someone else’s control. I actually kind of dread and look forward to think of his next recommendation of tying it to my hair. Not totally satisfied at how he left me, the second day we tried a little suspension (although note that the hook is not recommended to use for full suspension, so we tried this for a small period and extreme caution was used during this time not to cause injury). Tying the hemp rope the same way again, but this time to a hook in our bedroom ceiling, my partner set the tension on the rope so I balanced on my toes and balls of my feet. Here the second predicament began, I had to fully adjust my posture and how still I could be so I didn’t sink further onto the hook but the more my feet tired and ached the more the ball pressed further inside me as I slid down onto it, giving that all familiar “exposed” feeling and a mix of sensations as I struggled and squirmed with the pleasure of the ball against my sweet spots but intense almost bordering painful feelings of the hook stretching me. Summary: What can I say… The DOMINIX Deluxe Anal hook is more than I could of ever imagined, I have wanted one of these for a very (very) long time and it was certainly a well-earned experience to have once I got my hands on it. There is so much versatility and different scenarios to experience with this thing and I’m sure that we won’t tire of it anytime soon (I know one person who is most definitely looking forward to tying it to my hair and some “stillness” play). I have to admit that I am really looking forward to trying this vaginally, a little dubious as I’m afraid that curve might hit my public bone a little too hard, but the thought of the G-spot orgasms and squirting is way too tempting to miss out on. Bought this as our first anal hook and over the moon with it! The hook is great size, built with sturdy steel and great value. As an experienced rigger I wanted something to take things up a notch and this has done just that. Creates a good anchor point for ropes and allows restricted movement which we both love. My OH likes the ‘pull’ feeling she gets when I set in certain positions or shen she moves against the restraints. After my partner introduced me to LH we spent some time browsing and he encouraged me to look at different things and discuss what we might like to try out. This was one of our first purchases from LH and the first exploration into anything bondage. We decided to start with the medium rather than the small as we’d already played with butt plugs a little so felt that small might not satisfy us for long.The hook itself is well made. The detachable ball makes clean up a doddle. We’re quite fond of of placing it in the freezer before use as it adds a wonderful dimension of temperature play, feeling the insertable length warming up whilst the outer is still cold on my skin is lovely.The ring has been used for various attachments as well as for rotating the hook whilst inside. Feels great when bound to my hair.The only way to improve on this would be to have a set of interchangeable sized balls to extend play.

Steel toys -always so simple!The hook’s construction is great – a solid, smooth metal ball of notable size is ready and waiting at the end of this conveniently curved metal rod… how it is used, well… that is all down to you. Personally, I bought two for predicament purposes. Add set up a simple pulley system, add some weights or rope ties to other body parts and you’ve got a squirming subject who can’t decide if she wants the hook at the front or at the back to be the one that’s pulling harder *insert evil smirk here*Some DIY skill is required for this toy: either to attach rope, chain, collars or cuffs to it, but a short video search on the internet should provide you with the simplest of skills required; the rest, as I’ve stated, is up to that perverted mind of yours. Moving back to the hook – there isn’t a great deal more to say, its a beautifully simple toy – simple enough that its amazingly versatile in how you use it. The ball at the end is a little big for beginners, but smaller sizes are also available if it seems too daunting for you. This anal hook was everything we wanted!!The toy is made out of steel so it very easy to clean which is important for where its going. The toy is also super smooth and has no edges so it never snags. The hook is also long enough to insert deep if that is something you are looking for. The ball at the end can unscrew and allow you to change the size of the ball.The toy feels great once in and the eyelet at the end of the hook gives loads of possibilities for attachment. I’d recommend a rope and tying it to something so every time they move they feel the pleasure of the hook. I decided to go for the larger ball even though it’s the first hook I’ve ever bought and yes, it’s a challenge to get it in but, oh my word, that feeling when it gives, and pops in. . . . !I was expecting to be really tied in place but that’s not the reality. However it does limit the amount you can move as obviously you can tie it in specific ways to help with that. I would have liked to think I could have this in place and have penetrative sex but the ball is so large that I think it would be most uncomfortable for the person you’re with, so I use it with my vibrator. You also would not be able lie on your back with this in place as the hook part doesn’t lie flush with your body so it pushes the ball a bit too uncomfortably into the wrong position, so you have to be either standing, sitting, on your front or your side. Once finished I always leave it separate after cleaning it so that I make sure it’s firmly tightened as the last thing I want is a trip to A&E with a large metal ball in my nether regions. It would be nice if you could buy different sized balls without having to buy the hook too, variety is the spice of life. I would also like the hook to be thicker so it’s even more obvious to feel when it’s inside you
