As a big fan of the DOMINIX range, I was very excited to get to try this collar and clamp set out. I’ve only ever had good experiences with the brand so, no pressure DOMINIX, but I did expect this to live up to the high standard I expect from them. Long story short, it definitely did! The build quality on this collar is superb. The rolled edges in particular give a very professional look and a comfortable feel. Everything is securely and neatly stitched in place while the leather itself feels very high quality, lovely and soft/supple. It feels like a well worn collar straight from the packaging, which is great for those who perhaps wouldn’t wear a collar often enough to ‘break it in’ quickly. The metal parts have an air of quality as well; the chains are solid and have a satisfying weight without feeling too heavy, while the o-ring on the front can take a good tug. The buckle is secure and sturdy. The clamps feel well made and feel a lot more solid than many tweezer style clamps. Being listed as made from steel, the hardware on this collar should not be prone to the tarnishing that often renders leather items unuseable (yay). This collar combines the best of all worlds by both looking the part and feeling good, both in terms of comfort and in terms of stimulation. We found the width of the collar looked right on both a male and a female while the size range length wise accommodated both my very slender neck (albeit a little loosely) and my partners thicker neck well. We both found it comfortable and visually appealing, so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to either male or female buyers. The collar itself is obviously very beautiful with the layering and stud detailing, but I was surprised by how pretty the chains were. I loved the way the chains draped around my breasts, they frame them so beautifully! There is enough length on the chains to accommodate larger individuals and to move around easily, but they are short enough that they don’t get in the way at all. Plus, if you find the chains too short you can simply attach the clamps upside down! I’m not sure if it is obvious in the photos but each chain is attached to the o-ring separately, which both allows for further freedom of movement and allows you to be very precise with the stimulation given, e.g. when you tug one chain you don’t inadvertently cause either pain or pleasant sensation (if you distinguish between the two) to the other nipple. It also means both chains are always equal in length as they can’t slide through the ring the way one long chain would. It’s also worth noting the chains are permanently attached to both the o-ring and the nipple clamps, which makes it more hard wearing as there are no weak clips but also means you can’t take the chains or clamps of the collar to wear separately. The nipple clamps naturally open to have approximately a 1cm gap, but due to the nature of the clamps you can stretch them open further (carefully). When tightening the clamps, I found I barely slid the ring up the clamp at all before I was feeling the pinch. I wouldn’t have thought I have particularly large nipples, so I’m surmising these are quite small/tight clamps by nature. I would say the level of adjustment, both in size and intensity, make these clamps suitable for a wide range of people. I personally like a light sensation where the clamp is secure on the nipple but not causing any pain, and was able to get that. My finger informed me they can provide very intense pinching sensations too; they may be tweezer style clamps, but they can still pack a hell of a punch. Ouchie. Which is good if you want that sort of thing, of course. Because they don’t open terribly wide, these clamps are very easy to use one handed. In fact, it took me less than a minute to buckle myself into the collar and attach both clamps, so as a whole this is a very easy item to wear. It is also easy to co-ordinate with other items or clothing. Overall, I think this is a lovely item which has hit the professional standard in terms of quality, aesthetics and stimulation provided. I would not call this a beginner item as that implies a lack of quality, although it is certainly suitable for both beginners and advanced players thanks to the ease of use and range of adjustability. It has all the quality and class of a professional piece of kit, and while some may miss the ability to detach the chains/clamps I love it! 🙂

Arriving in usual discreet packaging, the product itself was in clear packaging. A black collar with a D-ring that has the chains attached with nipple clamps at the end. This is a more advanced collar as it is buckled not Velcro, and has a good weight. Personally I prefer this weighted buckle collar as you are more reliant in your Dom to release you, and allows your wrists to be free for further restraints which can still be linked through the same collar D-ring. I would suggest that this is for those at intermediate/advanced level. The nipple clamps are the tweazer style and do not come off and undone no matter what you are doing. They feel pleasurable to begin with and as the initial hold becomes familiar just move the small ring down further for some serious pain v pleasure…. They enhance pleasure better than any clamps I have tried in the past and are totally reliable not coming off, the chains to the collar prevent the down pull to help the remain in position. When caught up in the moment it easy to become oblivious how hard the clamps are attached its only afterwards when the adrenaline has settled that boy get those clamps off.. Ooo so sore but a good sore, that passes in seconds. I am very taken with this collar, it doesn’t look that impressive on arrival but as they saying goes don’t judge a book by its cover. I have a collection of collars and clamps and as a combined set this is ideal, but these are not for beginners in clamps or collars.

Really good product OH loves it and so do I! real leather and well made. My only issue is that is what not tight enough for my OH neck and so I had to add a few holes to the strap and then cut it after otherwise there too much strap flapping about! Great fun and v sexy bit of kit.

The chains have enough weight to feel and pull slightly on the nipples, but aren’t too heavy to be problematic. Love the buckle closing because its adjustable but secure, unlike poppers that may come undone. The clamps can be slightly hard sometimes to attach but that might be more on user error side than any real design fault. The adjustable nature of them allows for quick removal if it gets too much compared to other clamps on the market. The actual collar itself is of good quality, sturdy and yet comfortable and its design is perfect around a submissives neck.

I certainly love being pulled around my the top of the chains, and the chains tugging on my nipples!I initially found the clamps a little fiddly, but I have small, pierced nipples and found a way for it to work. And they work well. The clamps do exert a fairly subtle, constant but user-variable amount of pressure that drives me wild, and the slight weight from the chains adds to the sensation. The collar itself is well made and sturdy, with a beautiful leather smell. It brought out a different animal in him. We’ll be getting use out of this for a long time to come 🙂

I was a bit skeptical about getting another nipple clamp set attached to something as the last one was good, but didn’t 100% work for me. However, this one is amazing and by far my favorite clamp set! As well as the amazing sensations the adjustable clamps give, the collar looks so good!
