Perfect
after trying ball gags that. personally I don’t find to. satisfying I was keen to see if this improved things and simply the answer is a big YES. The mouth piece is soft so makes things comfortable but is tough enough to withstand any biting! This gag is good at doing what it should, it definately restricts your abiility to speak. whilst allowing you to breath and my husband love s the way it looks. I do find there is a lot of extra strap when secured ( I do have a small neck) but. this is a minor issue as everything else is fab. I love this and glad its been added to the toybox!

Wife prefers this much more than a ball gag
My wife loves biting down on pillows (and needs to because she is quite a screamer!!!) This has worked wonders as it can be used in any position. She also looks very hot wearing it, plus you don’t get all the dribbling that you get with a gag ball. Top buy

So comfortable
Have owned many bags over the years, and this one certainly is the best I’ve ever had. My OH loves it as the buckle is on the side so even easier to put in place. The strap is of good quality. Once in place it fills the front of the mouth well, and is of good quality and can bite down and not do any damage to the gag itself. It is so comfortable to wear and can easily be used for longer bondage sessions, I’ve worn it for 30-40 mins without any problems. It’s better than ball gags that do give some jaw ache after a while, nothing like this with this gag at all. Certainly muffled sounds, and is great when used with a blindfold, as it feels even bigger. This gag certainly well worth the money, and will last.I If you haven’t tried a gag, or ball gags are daunting, this is the one to get.

Very biteable
So it doesn’t do much about noise ( could be just me! ) but great to bite down on! Soft on the teeth and mouth but still firm enough to stay in place and survive your teeth! Can fasten it nice and tight without it pressing uncomfortably on the sides of your mouth and I feel my jaw doesn’t ache as bad with this as others I have tried. Very comfy

Fantastic Gag
We were looking for a different style of gag to add to our collection. I’ve not always been a fan of the “bit” style gag but thought we’d give this a go after reading the amazing reviews. What can I say? This gag is simply awesome. It is an extremely well crafted piece of bondage equipment. My favourite gag
I love this robust leather gag. It fits securely in my mouth, is comfortable and adjustable. It looks very sexy on. It is quite a large gag, so worth bearing in mind, but so much more robust than others I have tried. No cheap ping pong balls here!! My dom loves using this well made bit gag.

Great addition to our nightstand
We purchased this at the start of lockdown, to spice things up in the bedroom. We went for this as an alternative to a ball gag. In the past when using the ball gag I found it too uncomfortable and that the ball didnt fit well. Buying this Bit Gag does away with those problems, fitting easily in my mouth.

Intimidating Look
Once again, another Lovehoney product that came well packaged in a discreet cardboard box. The gag was a lot bigger than I anticipated and does look quite intimidating. It is very well made of leather, with a soft bit to bite down on to muffle the noise. My wife and I had a difference of opinion her. She didn’t like it, she found it quite large and intimidating as she only has a small mouth. On the other hand, I found it extremely sexy and comfortable to wear, better than a ball gag. Although it is big, it is comfortable. If you want a gag that is big, intimidating but comfortable to wear for a prolonged period of time, this this is the one for you. Recommended.

Something to chew on
I got this gag as the missus isn’t too keen on ball gags as they make her jaw ache after just a few minutes. As the bit of this gag is spongy under the leather padding, you can bite down, chew and mew into the gag without having to worry about jaw ache. Despite its heavy bondage looks, I’d say it was good for a beginner.The package arrived promptly and as usualy was discretely packaged – the postie had no idea what was included (along with other Lovehoney items). The first thing that I noticed upon opening the plastic bag that it was packaged in was the smell of the leather. The hardwear seems decent quality and sturdy and is fully adjustable using the eyelets.The gag works well to muffle sounds, but won’t completely block noise and you feel totally submisive wearing it.

Easier than a ball gag, but not on the jaw
This product uses good quality materials, but know what you are getting into with a bit gag:It frees up space in the back of your mouth, which helped me. However, it will still put stress on your jaw so it probably cannot be worn for much longer than you would wear a ball gag. And unlike a ball gag, this will stretch out your lips which I found a bit uncomfortable.I definitely would have preferred a smaller bit gag. Unfortunately, this “deluxe” version was the only one available on Lovehoney. Also, the strap is definitely more cumbersome than other Lovehoney products.

Not for petite mouths
This made me look and feel ridiculous. I’m a petite woman (5’0″) with a mouth on the smaller side, and this made me feel like I was at the dentist. Really uncomfortable and didn’t look sexy at all. For reference a 5.5″ ball gag does me just fine, and compared directly this feel way bigger “vertically” so to speak, i.e. I have to open my mouth way wider and it nearly didn’t even fit. If you have an average sized mouth I’m sure it’s fine, it seems durable and well made, and the leather is soft. I’ll stick to my ball gags.

Very nice first gag
The materials used are of a very good quality. Being leather and buckled gives it a very heavy duty look but is comfortable to wear. I personally found the mouth piece fairly big but not enough to be uncomfortable and so much better than a ball gag. I would certainly recommend it to anyone that’s new to gagging. My partner loved the look and the fact that he could still hear my moans but muffled was something he really enjoyed.

We have an extensive gag collection but always on the look out for something slightly different than the traditional ball gag. This has a good dominating look about it and when you open the packaging gives a feel of long lasting and a good look about it.Me and my partner both have different mouth sizes and this caters for smaller and larger mouths well with a good amount of holes on the rear for the buckle.When wearing I felt it gave a more full mouth feeling and certainly hindered any coherent speech efforts. My partner complimented that it look good also and made the wearer look more submissive. A very good gag for beginners or advanced players.

Very Exciting
I am lucky enough to own quite a few items from Dominix, and I have come to associate their name with excellent quality. This bit gag is no exception.This gag comes in nice clear packaging, which is very discreet. The quality of this product is of a very high standard. I have to say that this gag is fantastic – it looks very classy but has a hardcore edge to it – it is extremely well made.A great thing about this gag is that the straps actually fitted me. I always seem to have issues with straps on gags being too long, but this one was a great fit – but with lots of adjustability too.This bit gag has 2 large metal ‘O’ rings either side of the bit, which enable you to attach various bondage accessories, like a lead, nipple clamps or ropes etc.When wearing this gag, as it is made from leather, you are also able to bite down onto the bit, without causing any damage to the gag or to your teeth. This is a huge plus and just adds to the comfort of this gag.The size of the mouthpiece is quite large but not unpleasantly so – however do take care to have a signal to indicate if anything gets too much for you. The it actually feels very comfortable once it is in your mouth and the leather straps are also very comfortable on your face. My advice when washing the bit part after use, is not to submerge it under water completely, as this could allow some water to get between the stitching and into the internal stuffing of the gag, which is then difficult to dry out. Just wipe over with a damp cloth with perhaps some diluted fragrance-free soap if needed.I love how vulnerable I feel when wearing this – especially when tied up and blindfolded – but that just adds to the excitement!Overall, I would highly recommend this gag – it really is an excellent addition to your BDSM toybox! Just remember to play safe and have fun!

A great alternative to a ball gag
This is actually my second purchase of this gag. I already knew from the brand that this gag would be great quality, but was apprehensive about whether or not it would be. . . ‘gaggy’. . . enough. Reduced the pleasure score slightly as I don’t feel it gives pleasure on it’s own per se. Pros:Really comfortable in the mouth, gentle on the teeth – having a little bit of give is important to my jaw, but still works as a restrictive gag/muffler.Strap has a good range of lengths to suit many heads. Buckle is large enough to use quite easily but not too chunky so as to poke your head or feel lopsided.Quality is, as I have found with this brand, excellent. It just looks *nice* on and off.The smell is delightful and leathery.It feels weighty both in the hand and on the face, the buckle is real metal and leather is fairly soft. Cons:Really comfortable. This might be a con for some 🙂 I am not sure how to really clean it, my last one was left for a couple of months and went mouldy and I really don’t want this to happen again. It has a different aesthetic to a classic ball gag or more ‘horsey’ bit gag – not a con for me as I prefer the look this one has but for some it might be a drawback.

I was debating between getting a ball gag or this leather bit gag. I settled on leather, as it’s nice to not only have the leather strap, but chewing down on leather too. I’ve used it countless times and bitten down on it quite hard and cannot see any deformation on the bit.
