Really excellent lube.
This is a thick, oil based lube that comes in a good tub with a pump. Unlike many other lube containers, it doesn’t leak, and it doesn’t get coated in goo – much cleaner than most! It smoothes out well, and doesn’t leave any areas uncovered. This didn’t dry out or go sticky for a very long time compared to other lubes. Once finished, it cleaned off easily with a small amount of soap – water isn’t enough quite to shift it, but that’s no surprise for an oil.

Now this stuff works. The lube lasts a long time and feels lovely, not gloopy or anything, nice and smooth and slick. I also like the pump container – much less messy than some of the pots we’ve tried. The only thing is that it’s oil based. One of the reviews here says it’s condom safe – it is NOT, because it’s oil based! (At least, not safe with normal latex condoms) It is now my favourite anal lube! One other remark – I believe that Doc Johnson’s Golden Girl Anal Jelly is actually the same as this. The ingredients are identical!

Smooth
Not being very versed with lubrication, I have only tried a couple of different ones. This was great for our anal play. Good stuff
Well I’m almost at the end of my first tub and I’ve been very impressed. My girlfriend and I have gone from novices experimenting for the first time to regular enjoyers on anal with this lube. I brought this from recommendations of other users and reviews below, but I thought I’d add my own to convey what a quality product this is. The consistency is good, quite think at first when applying so it stays where you want it. As it warms it gets thinner and more lubricated, generally no need to re-apply. It doesn’t stain or discolour sheets/clothing, but it does leave a greasy mark. Usually removed by a thorough wash in the machine – sometimes a repeat is needed or 60Deg wash for the sheets if they get some on.

Good for sex, crap on toast
I’d bought the product before, this was the second tub. It’s that good. This tub came with a dispensing pump, and it’s all but useless. It’s a thick oil based lube, with a consistency slightly thinner than vaseline. The taste isn’t the most pleasant, but I’m not in the habit of eating it. It’s not for use with the vagina, so there’s no chance of it fouling up your mouth during oral. In use it’s perfect. A small amount goes a long way, and continues going; as it warms up it becomes thinner and feels like it’s not there. The only downside is that you can’t use it with toys since nearly all are made of rubber, and I think it’s even unsafe with silicone. But for sex it’s the best thing going.

Our first anal lube
This was our first anal lube back when my girlfriend and I first started delving into the world of anal. It was part of a bundled order which arrived on a Saturday I believe, with free postage and about 2 days from the date of delivery which was nothing short of amazing. As other reviewers have stated, it’s much like vaseline in it’s consistency if a little bit thicker, and thins out once it warms up in your backside to spread the lube out a bit more. It’s quite easy to scoop out from the tub with your fingers, although you will probably want a shower or bath afterwards as it is very hard to rinse off quickly – which isn’t too bad, as those tend to be appealing after an exhausting session of anal sex anyway. The hand pump has never worked, and reading other reviews it would seem that this problem was not exclusive for us. Not a big deal in my opinion, but it does make you wonder why they bothered at all. It works fine as a tub alone. This lube also tastes pretty horrible, so try to keep your hands away from your face after you’ve applied it. It also lasts for quite a while, so even if you’re using this with a sex toy there shouldn’t be any dryness for quite some time – easily several hours. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend this lube for those wanting something to ease them into anal fun.

Where others fail, this excels
Well done LH yet again for super fast delivery. If you can imagine a lube scale where water bused lubes are at the bottom as they only last a few minutes before drying out and silicone lubes which last forever but stain clothes and can destroy silicone toys, then this sits in the very nicely in the middle. It offers long lasting lubricant with out affecting any toys. The pump it comes with however seems to be pointless as it failed before it even started, but we simply unscrew then lid and help ourselves. We use the lube for everything not just anal. Masterbation, foreplay, toys and sex. We will definitely be ordering this again.

Why have cotton, when you can have silk?
When I met my partner last year, I had never heard of any different lubricants other than KY Jelly (amongst other things I have been introduced to!) He is quite experienced when it comes to most things BDSM, and he likes to experiment with me, and this lube is perfect to use with anything and everything, and an awesome accompaniment in ‘training’, so to speak. I used to find sex very monotone and often uncomfortable because my ex of 8yrs did not appreciate the benefits of foreplay, and had a favourite saying “there’s no prizes for coming second…” So, this lube has been a fantastic help in my introduction to, what has become, a very happy, healthy and enjoyable sex life. It definitely makes things more comfortable! Venturing into anal
Me and my finace decided to venture into abit of anal play which i particuarly wasnt kean on the idea itself, We bought this anal lube and when it came the fact that it said ANAL LUBE boldy on the tub made me feel intimidated, We eventualy used it and it really helped to make the first experience enjoyable, texture and pump action are good. Fancy Vaseline
Packaging: Somehow I don’t really like it when they write ANAL on the lubes, I know I’m going to use it for that, but do you really have to make it that obvious? The dispenser thing does not work at all (as other reviewers already pointed out) but you can just use your fingers. Texture: The lube itself is really thick and vaseline like, it gets a bit more runny as it warms up but never drips or such, which is good. I used it mostly for toys and it’s really cool that you can cover your whole toy and know that it’s lubed up well (it’s like buttering a cake pan). As soon as you start the action, it gets a little runnier and greasy. No drying out or anything because it’s oil based so it’ll keep you oiled for a long time Cleaning: And that’s also the main problem. Don’t get it on your sheets! It leaves stains behind and these are not easy to get rid of. I had to wash my sheets twice and there was still a little bit there. So be careful! Overall: I quite like it, but I’ll try something else next time. It really does what it’s made for, and if you’re having a shower afterwards, you’ll be fine, but in the end, it is quite similar to vaseline which is probably a bit cheaper but will do almost the same for you. Always remember: don’t use it with condoms, use a lot of lube and don’t drink and drive!

Great lube but why bother with a pump
The lube is quite thick – like a petroleum jelly. It is easily applied and provides the lubrication needed. However, why someone in product design thought that a pump would work on an almost solid jelly is beyond me. They should remove the pump and fill the space with additional lube. After all, you end up using your fingers to get the lube anyway.

after experimenting with quite a few different anal lubes off LH, including numbing ones and the like, this one has come up trumps. It has the right consistency – that of vaseline rather than a water based lube. this is essential since it isn’t absorbed by the skin as quick and you don’t have to keep reapplying. The tub is a pretty good size and you won’t need lots, so it will go further than other bottled lubes. Overall the best anal lube for me P.s doc johnson get rid of the pump, its a waste of plastic and packaging costs

Thick and long-lasting
Being a fan of anal all-round, you’ve got to have a good lube to hand, or it’s going to end up badly! This, well, it really does what it says on the tin! It’s very thick, clear, no funny smells, slightly melts with heat, very slick and lasts for ages – I usually end up re-applying lube mid-way through anal as most lubes wear out and end up going sticky – but this one doesn’t. When it’s first applied, it doesn’t feel like you’ve used enough, but check before putting more on, or you’ll end up with it everywhere! It’s that slick on your skin, you’ll need less than you thought. Given that, it means that this tub will last for ages and ages. I’m not sure why it comes with a pump applicator though, it’s far too thick a lube to go up that little tube!

Meets expectations
First and foremost, the reason I chose this lube was the dispencer and I was very disapointed to find out it is practically useless. The lube is thick and the dispencer is really not designed for it. Only way to get the dispencer to work is to heat the container up a bit. That aside, It is a great lube. It is really thick while in room temperature. As soon your body heats it up it melts away and you barely feel it is there, however, you “know it is working”. As mentioned in previous reviews: it lasts long. This is the first oil-based lube I try, so I can hardly compared to similar products. However it definatelly outlasts the water based ones! I’ve tried it with multiple toys and I can say it works perfectly with all of them them. My girlfriend, on the other hand, mentioned it doesn’t help much with toys with rough rubbery coating.

Great for fisting
This is a very thick lubricant which stays in place. It is oil based so has a very oily texture. It is a bit like hair pomade. It’s not suitable for use with latex condoms so if you want to have safer sex then either don’t use this lube or use non latex condoms. I’ve not tried this lube for normal anal sex but I have tried it for fisting and it does the job! A little goes a very long way so use sparingly. As other reviewers have said the pump lid doesn’t work but it looks like this pump lid is no longer used. Very sensible 🙂 Happy anal play!

Works a treat
As a lover of anal sex but found my normal water based lube wasn’t working well enough for taking my BF’s big size I decided to try a non-water based lube. This worked an absolute treat. Does exactly what you would expect

Disappointing

A nice stretch

In the search to find the best lube for big anal insertion my latest purchase was this. Yes it helped things go in. It certainly does the job. Personally I found it too slippery. To the point of things popping out! Yes its thick. But I liked that you can coat the plug ect without dripping and mess. Was very impressed with this product. For my first time trying anal sex I was quite nervous and this product was suggested to me by a friend who found it to be the best lubricant for anal penetration. I used this with my partner and Skyn condoms which worked wonderfully without tearing or dissolving the condom. The lubricant is smooth, slightly warming and silky. Penetration was easy and fairly effortless (nerves aside) using this product and the lube becomes more smooth and liquid like as you build up friction so it lasts and lasts. It is not suitable for consumption with a taste and texture similar to Vaseline. The hand pump tap on the top of the container is completely useless as the lube is too thick to come out. Just unscrew the top and use your hands.

This stuff is great! Its thick and easy to apply and it is rare that you need to apply for a second time. This tub goes a long way. Cleaning it off of toys is easy, just use hot water. (we also use sex toy cleaner) The lube is however to thick for the pump on the lid. worked for the first two pumps, that was it. But unscrew the cap and you are good to go.

Always first choice
Having tried a number of different lubes this is by far the best one I have used to date. Granted the pump is pretty useless due to the thickness of the lube, however if you warm it in a bowl of hot water then it thins it for use with the pump. If you don’t have time the. Simply unscrew and use fingers. I have never had to reapply this to toys during their use. A little does go a long way. The first time that we used this, we had to open the tub and scoop it out with our fingers, I’ve read a lot of reviews regarding this and it didn’t really bother us at first. Goes far, but very tacky
Brought this a while back, still have plenty left today it goes a long way. Long lasting and very thick and slick. Tried mostly with anal toys and works well though I can’t say I can feel the numbing myself. My only two gripes with it are the dispenser does not work at all on my one, just doesn’t seem to draw any of it up no matter how much I press it. I also find it extremely tacky on my hands, which is good for use but rather annoying to get off your hands, fingers which makes it less enjoyable for me

The Doc Johnson is a good anal lube if you want to try something with a great texture, long-lasting and if you dont mind the smell of that sort of things. You can’t use it with all condoms, specially with latex ones, unless you want to break off your condom by friction and end with your penis shoved in a plenty of bacterias. Got this based on a recommendation, tried out anal beads on my partner with it. Never done anal play before, was quite nervous but between this and the Lovehoney Beginner’s Anal Beads it went amazing! Only thing that really dampened the experience was that the pump did nothing. Since it’s oil based, it definitely lasts heaps longer than other lubes and I only need to use a little bit, even with larger 1.5″ – 2″ diameter toys. And it is great, having said that it is quite thick and oily. I.e. much harder to clean so beware of when/how/where you use it. Plus it’s harder to rapidly thrust using the toys with this lube as I feel it just isn’t as slick as water based lubes. Having said that, I highly recommend particularly if you don’t mind the aforementioned (small) negatives

Great for anal play
I used this product multple times with my partner, and also with some toys. It is very greasy, very long lasting, and it is water resistant. So you can play in the bath tub, or in shower. On the other hand you will need lot of tissues, as it is very hard to get rid of it.One big plus is when you use this with someone who is a big boy, this helps relaxing, as of it’s consistency the contact will feel less direct.

Lasts longer but not as slick
Pros: Lasts heaps longer than water based lubricants. A little bit goes a long way. Cons: Not as slick and “glide-y” as the water based lubrication. Frustrating packaging and poor pump mechanism (that I had to break open the packaging). Hard to wash since it’s oily. Overall : Try it but have other lubes on hand if required. Advice : Care what you touch with this stuff lol it’s harder to wash off and you might need some soap and water.

Good product
The is a very good lube for anal play. A little goes a long way and it doesn’t dry out quickly so once lubed up you don’t need to stop playing to re apply. The sensation is very good as the silkyness helps it glide. I would suggest keeping a towel to had.

Great lube but not water-based
I often buy things to help me get out of tight situations that I would rather not be in but this was definitely a purchase to help me get in a tight situation that I wanted to be in… A little of this lube goes a long way and it lasts meaning you wont need to keep reapplying. It has a thick consistency so i would reccomend keeping a tissue handy. Due to the consistency the hand pump was sometimes a little slow to work but easily solved by removing the lid and scooping a small amount out. Beware though this is not water based so be careful which toys you use during play.

Just petroleum jelly!
When I received this I first tried in vain to get the pump dispenser to work. After about 100 strokes, I gave up and unscrewed the top. To my surprise I found the contents were exactly the consistency and lubricity of petroleum jelly–no way it was going to be drawn up by the pump. Lubricating qualities were about the same, too, meaning it really wasn’t very good, and cleanup was a chore. Cannot recommend this product.

Expensive
The product itself is great! Works well. But you do need quite a number of reapplications if used in the shower, even without water running over your dildo, which makes cleaning the shower floor a bit of a challenge. But lubes in general are extremely expensive for what they are! Lube companies would be making massive profits!
