Sleek and stylish
I love, love, love these stockings!! I felt so sexy wearing them. They look very classy when you put them on and offer a sleek and stylish alternative to the traditional lace hold-ups available. I like lace but can find lace bra, knickers and hold-ups a bit over-kill and sometimes if the patterns of the lace are very different they can clash. The stripe topped stockings create a wonderful line at the top of your thighs, drawing the eye up towards your bum. This simple and perfectly executed design won’t clash with your knickers, but instead add the finishing touch to your lingerie. They are really well made, I’ve worn them quite a few times and the elastic grip at the top feels sturdy and like it’s firming up the more wobbly part of your legs. They have a good amount of stretch in them so they don’t dig in and make you bulge over the top. I wear a size 10 and ordered the small, this fitted perfectly. Although the tights are very sheer they haven’t snagged or laddered once and oh boy can they stay put 😉 I’ve kept them on and they didn’t budge an inch!

Lovely hold up stockings - gimme more
Often on the lookout for new stockings & hold-ups, I decided to go for the 3-4-£20 offer. Looking at previous reviews I thought they must be good so thought they must be worth a try. & yes they are! Lovely & soft, smooth, easy to pull on. The tops don’t over cling at all just fit nicely, no bulges not even a stickiness. I’m size 10, 5’8″ & would say they could honestly be the best hold-ups I’ve tried. When wearing them (in the bedroom) I felt them slip very very slightly but no rolling & no bulging so don’t consider that a problem. The stripes/bands are a but different to lace, a bit more bondage like & the clearer material in between the black bands has a sheen to it that is also good. The material between the band & stocking material was slightly uneven but not particularly noticeable & may not be the same on every pair. The OH was quite happy but not as fussy as I am! Pretty sure you could wear with suspenders if you wished – not always the case with hold-ups.

Amazing
Best stockings I have ever ever ever ever purchased! I am so so so happy with these!!! I think I am a size 16 in my thighs which is such a struggle with hold ups as they just look so hideous and bulging everywhere! 🙁 These however are the best stockings in the world for ladies that have larger thighs!!! I got the large, they came up to underneath my bum as well when stretched as far as they can go, look amazing with heels and underwear or ever just under a dress on a night out. You don’t need a suspender belt to keep these up, so far that seems. I will try wearing them on a night out but for about 10 minutes of walking around they didn’t budge one bit! Definitely buying more from this brand, I hope they are just as well fitting!!

Great design, not carried out well
Okay so this is the first not so positive review for these hold ups. The packaging they arrive in is fine. They have a large picture on the front of the model posed in the same position as featured above just without the nipple tassels which I assume Lovehoney have added. There is a card inside with brief instructions in 9 languages on how to best care for stockings which is a nice touch. The first pair of stockings I received had a hole between where the stocking material connected to the top bands and as soon as I went to put them on this laddered down the front. Lovehoney however, were excellent and sent a replacement pair with no issues. The second pair, no inbuilt holes thank goodness but the band at the top where they connect to the top band does vary in width from over a centimetre to just a couple of millimetres which isn’t great. I am a size 12-14 but am fairly tall at 5’8” and have very chunky horse-riders thighs (bigger proportionally than the rest of me) so always go for large or plus size in hold ups. I went for the large, 16-18, here and am very glad I did. They are fine on me width wise at the top though I certainly wouldn’t want to be any larger than I am. Length wise however, I like to wear hold ups fairly high on my thighs and these simply aren’t long enough for me to do this and feel quite stretched in length. It’s not all bad, the silicone lining in the top bands is good and holds the stocking well in place without creating a muffin top. However, I don’t feel comfortable in these so will stick mostly with my better quality and longer length lace top hold ups thanks.

Good hold-ups for ladies with girthier thighs
I have never been a huge fan of hold-ups, mostly because they hardly ever fit me – not exactly surprising in the case of someone who, having lost a great deal of weight, has developed athletic calves but who also seems to be unable to shed inches of those horrid thunder thighs… I have, however, noticed these in the 3 for 20 pounds stockings and hosiery offer and decided to give them a try. Being usually size 16 on the bottom I went for the large version, thinking that stockings of this size might fit even me – more or less. Just after my order had been delivered (packed, sent and delivered within mere 21 hours – truly impressive), I couldn’t resist trying my new lingerie on straightaway (well, I guess that few girls would do otherwise). And when it comes to these hold-ups, I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only were they big enough for me (actually, I would prefer them to be very slightly tighter – if I lose more than an inch or so off my thighs, they are likely to get too loose; something tells me that the medium size would be a way too small for me, though, I guess something aimed at 14-16 ladies would be ideal in the case of this make) but they also looked quite nice and sexy on me – and I rarely feel like this, having a strong tendency to feel ashamed of my body. Cool. They are not lacy or „ornamental“, unlike many other stockings of this kind, but rather sleek and modern looking (the material feels nice as well) – in my opinion, they are not only great for the bedroom activities (something I, being single, cannot use them for right now, anyway) but they also beg to be worn with cocktail dresses and pencil skirts when you go out. I suppose this might be just me being silly (or perhaps old-fashioned) but the one thing I am not too keen on is the packaging – I suppose some might find it appealing to buy something that sports a picture of a bare-breasted lady with a fairly suggestive expression on the cover but I am not too happy with it. I guess it’s not only because I have never been into ladies myself but also because I sometimes gift stockings and clothing accessories I have come to like myself to my mum or my cousin, should I think they might also enjoy them – and I would be kind of embarrased to give them a package that sports a naked lady for Christmas or their birthday Despite this, I like the the hold-ups a lot and I think I will be getting another pair or two in the future.

Favourite stockings
I am obsessed with stockings, and these looked great in the pictures! I’m 5’8 and a size 10-12, so I ordered both the medium and large sizes. The large were a bit too big around the thigh, but the medium fit perfectly. The elasticated tops are very sturdy and didn’t slip, so these would be good for everyday wear under a skirt, or just in the bedroom! The material in the leg was very smooth and didn’t feel like I was going to ladder them just by putting them on, so even though they look lovely, they aren’t too delicate and have lasted me quite a while. For the quality, I think they’re priced realistically. My Agent Provocateur stockings only last me a few hours and were 4 times more expensive! These are a definitely staple for stocking-lovers!

Very sexy
These are really sexy stockings and make OH legs look amazing. They where a great fit and the hold up tops stayed put just as they should even with quite a bit of movement! They are quite fine stockings and unfortunately got laddered quite easily but we enjoyed them while they lasted.

Embarrassing
Felt comfortable when I put them on – medium size as I am a size 12. However, at the end of the evening they both fell down as I was walking along the Strand in London at 10pm on a busy Saturday evening!!! Had to pull back up, but they then fell down again and had to be removed…never again.

Perfect stockings
Bought these a few months ago and they are still going strong today. I love the striped tops and how they stay up so well. They are very comfortable. Discreet packaging and fast delivery as always by lovehoney. They stay up well but you can also use a suspender or garter belt to add a little something. Nice material, nice look and go perfect with any item of lingerie.

Finally, stockings that fit me!
I’ll get straight to the point. Out of all the stockings I’ve bought so far online these are the first pair to A- Stretch really far up my legs. B- Not give me painful muffin-top across my thighs. C- Not roll down the second I move. None of the Lacetop Lovehoney stockings fit me properly but the tops on these stockings are PERFECT and incredibly comfortable. If you’re a size 16+ and ordering the largest size here’s my measurements so you can judge if they’ll fit you. I’m clothing size 18. 5’7 and these go nearly to the top of my thighs. The area where my stocking ends is 67cm. The higher up your thigh you pull them the more they grip to your thigh at the top since the bands are very spacious. Never been so happy at a simple pair of stockings. They look stunning with my heels!

Perfect
When I first opened it, I was so confused on what the white, elastic parts on the top part of the stockings where. Turns out they’re what keeps the thigh highs up, and they do the job perfectly. They feel amazing and go well past my knees! I’m 5’7, 165 lbs and the L fit great.

Poor Quality
Poor quality. The are fabulous looking and I was excited to get to ware them but that was as far as I go as ripped very easy just after pulling them up. I didn’t even get to sit down before the were laddered. The cheap ones from a large retail store are far better quality. Very disappointing considering the price difference and I don’t even have large thighs. I won’t be buying them again.

The best stockings I have ever purchased
I consider myself to be fairly big in the thigh department and have therefore struggled to no end to find stockings that actually stay up! These however I ADORE!!!! They fit so lovely and stay up for hours! They are one of my favourite purchases from LH and trust me I have bought quite a lot! They feel perfect around my thighs and are so soft! I’d happily replace every pair of normal tights with these as I need to adjust tights more than I need to adjust these! I need to fill my wardrobe with more of them!

Best iv bought so far
I’m on to my second pair of these. They are the first pair out of about 20 iv bought that actually stay up for hours. Also I like the lines at the top that go around your thigh. Think they look quite sexy teamed up with a nice Basque or babydoll husband definitely approved 😉 also they wash Brill. Only on 2nd pair as I laddered my other pair

Amazing
Wow! I have to say I have many pairs of stockings, I usually don’t go for hold ups if I’m honest as they never seem to stand the test of time in the bedroom with me… firstly these felt amazing on, so so comfortable, they didn’t roll and they stayed in place very well & the fact they came out the other end unscathed impressed me, very reasonably priced I would usually spend a little more stocking wise but I would absolutely buy these again and will be doing so They do look really sexy as well, my guy specifically commented on how much he liked them

Not quite as practical as we’d hoped
I bought these for my wife after looking at a lot of reviews for a lot of different products. I decided on these as a lot of reviews mentioned how well they held up, and we wanted them for her to wear under a skirt for a day out, and with the skirt being satin, a suspenders belt wasn’t really an option. Things went alright for about five hours but after that, the right stocking gave up, and my wife had to walk around with her hand in her coat pocket, desperately grasping at the top of the stocking. This meant we had to effectively cut our day short, which wasn’t actually too much of a problem as it meant we got to go home and appreciate the stockings in all their glory. Practicality aside, the product did look amazing on, and my wife was impressed with the quality and finish of the stockings. It’s probably our fault for thinking that a hold up could last a full day of walking round a city, but they’re perfect for bedroom activities. I’m hoping she decides to wear them again, but if she does, we won’t be venturing too far from home. Wife is a size 8, and the size small fit like a dream.

sexy stockings for a night in
unfortunately, the hold-up part doesn’t really hold up…they were rolling down my thighs mere moments after putting them on. they’re soft and sexy though and so long as you’re not worried about a fashion faux pas on a night out they’re great for a steamy session at home. seem quite durable as well – I expected a couple of ladders in them from the mans clawing, but they’ve survived the wash good as new.
