The riding crop is quite long, longer than I expected. It’s made of real leather, a plastic rod, and a wooden handle. This has a feel of quality about it, but the handle does kind of let it down, feels a bit cheap. In use it is perfect. If you’ve ever been spanking a partner while having sex with them from behind, you’ll know that you struggle for space and getting a good angle is difficult. The rod means you effectively have an extra long arm to spank your partners cheeks. Gives a good nip which it’s easy to vary the force with. Also because of the length you can whip parts of the body that otherwise you might not reach. Like the breasts while you’re having sex with your partner. Enjoyed a lot, very sexy.

This was my first S&M product, so I wasnt sure what to expect. When I opened the box, it was more flexible than I expected, meaning it packed less of a punch. This is quite ideal if you are new to BDSM play, however if you really want pain this may not be for you. Same for the shape of the leather on top. The width of it means the sting will be a lot more comfortable than if you were to buy the one with the slimmer head. I am not saying this product isnt painful when used properly, it will for sure cause some screams and red marks if you so choose 😉 As soon as this is in your hand, you will immediately feel powerful, I couldnt put it down (and my partner didnt want me to :p). An awesome addition to your bedroom, totally worth the money.

Originally bought for a fancy dress evening. Nice long riding crop with the end of it being the perfect size for a good slap on the preferred choice of target. Admired by everyone on the night…stolen by everyone as well. Due to the long length the riding crop did however snap at the handle much to my unamusement. I will admit to excessive usage at the point in the party so until that point it can withstand a lot of stress. The riding crop depending on how you use it is the perfect toy to not leave marks but have the lovely sound of a slap on the skin.

Very nice crop! Before this we had only used canes, this was our first crop and we loved it. Better still, after about the 4th heavy use the tip flew off mid-swing and connected as the bare rod…. I don’t know if she enjoyed it as much as me, but she started to. It’s easy to replace and stayed on with regular pre-fun checks. Even though we LOVE having a 2 in 1 crop and cane.

I would like to consider this the best toy in my collection, but unfortunately the build quality lets it down. During some rather heated play with my Master, the leather tip flew off mid-swing and I got several lashing from the rod instead. I was able to reattach the tip after, though I’m going to need to find some glue for it to stick. That aside, the individual components of the crop are well made. The handle is pretty solid and the rod, though plastic, was able to withstand quite the punishment. The crop leaves a lovely little sting, and quite a nice slapping sound. Though, with a little control, it can easily deliver gentler swats to more sensitive areas. The rod delivers much sharper stings, and can leave behind some rather noticeable marks. But still, the size of it allows for greater control compared to larger canes. I would gladly buy a well made short cane of similar size if they offered it. As much as I enjoy this toy, it ultimately isn’t the most well suited for the intended purpose due to the quality of the assembly. If the tip was more secure, it would be borderline perfect.

I haven’t had a chance to use it on the OH yet but he always manages to use it on me, good job I love it! It feels like a quality crop when you hold it, nice plastic handle and leather end. Lots of flex in the shaft but doesn’t feel like it’s going to snap if bent too much. In use all I can say is it turns me on, A LOT! The first time we used it I got so excited. Obviously it all depends on how hard and where it strikes you. Certainly something only a trusted partner should be in charge of. As I dont like a lot of pain but don’t mind the odd gentle sting. He knows that and is aware of how sensitive different areas are. If used properly a very good, exciting crop. If used / abused probably a relationship ender.

It’s a little long, so trying it alone is a little awkward, but when a partner uses it on you – oh, boy. You can achieve anything from gentle stroking to painful hits, and it makes a lot of fun. I don’t mind that it’s rather simply designed, it’s more about its effect. Unluckily for me, the tip was a bit crooked due to the packaging, and that still hasn’t straightened out, but here’s to hoping.

Like most people, I can’t claim to be an expert with spanking implements. my partner and my self bought this item just to make things abit more interesting. the item it self is of good quality how ever i found that the actual item is abit to long as it is hard to use and often have to hold it in the middle to get the right amount of hardness with out it going all over the place. The leather tip when u receive the item is a Little bit hard however will wear with use and becomes softer over time all in all a very good item

As always the delivery from LH was quick and discreet. When I opened the huge box one of the first things that I noticed was how long the riding crop was. Once we got around to using it, and finding enough room my husband very much enjoyed using it on me. Also I loved that yes it hurt but not loads, I thought that it would feel awful!! My husband did mention that it is very flexible and at times would move around in an almost circle, but once he worked around that he enjoyed using it. Overall I am happy that we bought it on the 3 for £30 offer. The material and build quality is very good. As long as you have the room to use it I would definitely say to everyone to buy one.

Although I haven’t to use it been able to use it yet I can’t wait to try it out on my other half, and visa versa! It feels really good to hold and the strap on the handle really gives you control, I’ve had a little practice to see how the action of it feels and its got quite a good springy quality to it so that with good wrist action it requires little effort to spank someone if that’s what suits you. The leather tip has really smooth edges and is quality material, I can imagine it will feel pretty satisfying for both involved.

This is a good quality whip. Well made with sturdy leather tip and solid wooden handle. What you see is what you get with this product. Plus the leather wrist strap keeps it just to hand… how convenient! My only slight niggle would be that the shaft is quite flexible so maybe this is aimed more at beginners

I really like this riding crop. For a slightly cheaper product it does a really good job. It’s quite long though so although great for reach might be better for tall couples. Although I’ve used better “real” riding crop this one does give a good sting 😉 It also makes a great swishing sound! I’ve gotten some great bruises from this great little toy

This crop is certainly big. The handle is well formed and smooth, made out of a lightweight wood painted black. This leads to a leather safety loop used to ensure no slippage (noone wants a crop flying across the room at high speed). The leather is soft and it is designed to twist with the crop so your hand doesn’t get stuck in it. The shaft is a tad plasticky for my liking, it has a lot of flexibility at high speeds and I wonder how long it will be until this snaps or bends. It also detracts from the overall look of the crop which is a shame. There is a distinct ridge up and down the length of the shaft from where the plastic comes together. The paddle itself is quite thick, good for beginners and I would probably go for something slimmer next time. It is stitched nicely and shows no sign of slipping off the plastic pole. Provides a good hit, a nice middle ground between a paddle and a cane. The wide leather is probably a good shout for beginners and will be good practise before moving onto hardcore items.

Good quality and lovely wide crop end for a more satisfying smack. The longer length of this crop also means you can easily ramp up the force with little effort, amping up the anticipation of how hard it will hit, also, I’ve found that the longer length means you can utilise the stick of the crop in a cane like fashion to switch it up if you so choose! The loop is pretty handy for hanging it away too, although I would prefer if it was attached inside the handle.

It’s light and can be accurately placed, important when operating close to areas containing non-combatants and not wanting to cause collateral damage. The shaft is unbound and will leave very clear welts on buttocks…. if you want it to. The smooth plastic handle is perfect for inserting, though not something we did. This item was sent to me from my wishlist a few months ago by a very kind stranger, and has unfortunately sat unused by my bedside for a while. However, having finally found someone brave enough to let me use it on them, I think I have enough experience to write a review! The packaging of the product is a clear plastic bag with “bondage boutique” label, and the crop itself doesn’t look to be super high quality (but looks to be on par for the price), and I fear the plastic pole it’s built around may snap when used over time. The wooden handle feels nice, and the leather hand strap means it’s not likely to slip out of your hand during use. I personally found it a little difficult to hit my target in the intended spot, though I feel with more practice I should improve. The crop makes an INCREDIBLY satisfying sound on impact, and leaves just the right amount of sting behind. I haven’t checked if any marks appear when used, you may want the smaller headed version if you’re looking for that. Overall, it fulfills its use nicely, is a great stingy tool, and is definitely suited for a beginner like myself.

So I got this crop and was pretty happy. The handle is good and so is the paddle. The paddle is a good size. The handle is a good size but at the top of the handle has a leather sorta loop. Not a fan of the loop it’s awkward and gets in the way. Now the length is good. But it is VERY bendy. I feel like if I hit someone to hard it will snap. It is a good product but I think what I don’t like about it is personal preference.

Male Perspective: This was our first venture into riding crops, although we are by no means beginners. The initial impression is that this is a good addition for intermediate and I believe even beginners. It has a very satisfying snap whether you use it gentle or more hard, without being too sore or painful but also getting your point across!
