I’ve used 2 different types of anal douche before. One similar to this (much smaller) and one which goes on a tap. I have to say this is the best of the lot. Its big enough that one full bulb will make you feel squeaky clean. The nozzle doesn’t screw on its a kind of push fit arrangement, this makes it very easy to refill quickly. The tip is rounded and smooth enough to make entry very easy with a little lube. The silicone material feels nice to the touch and makes for very easy cleaning. One thing I did find is that due to the length of the tube you can push air into yourself first if you don’t bleed some water through first. This is only something which happens if you’re using this on yourself. The packaging was a simple plastic clamshell with a card insert. Its obviously aimed at men but its not too in your face.

I’ve found I need 3 sometimes 4 rinses before being properly clean, so the size of this douche is really helpful. As other reviewers say, be careful handling it when it’s inside you as the seal easily breaks and splashes water everywhere. Don’t hurry the process as I’ve found I sometimes only completely evacuate about 30 minutes later.

The size of this douche (460ml) was what attracted me to it. I had used some smaller ones previous with good results, but wanted to reduce the need for refilling whilst getting clean. The design is such that to get the best from it, you really need to insert it right to the bulb and take it very steady. If not fully inserted, or squeezed to fast, it is quite easy to cause a leak or separate the bulb from the tube. To fill it I emersed the tube and the bulb in to the water at the same time, but separated so the tube would fill with water and the bulb could be filled easily. Once filled it will stand quite easily on a flat surface, which is handy. I found the best way to administer it solo was to use plenty of lube on myself and insert it fully to the flare of the bulb (maybe not for beginners) then slowly push the base of the bulb upwards towards the spout and push the water inside. With the base pressed keep it like that and withdraw the tube then (probably following an imediate evacuation) rinse, refill and repeat. I found it very effective and after a few uses, over half an hour or so and checking I was completely empty, I felt very clean! I would recommend this product for experienced users. Just don’t force the water out of it too quickly, as you may find it leaks or the two halves become seperated.

This was my first douche purchase to take my anal play up to the next level. A little unsure this product may have been ‘too much’ for my needs and use, but I went for it anyway. The design and ease of use was perfect. The slight curve really makes a big difference for solo douching. The large bulb holds more than enough for each use (I would always rather too much water than too little). 4 hole tip ensured a perfect clean in just a few uses. Gives me total confidence. Anxiety amongst other things meant anal penetration was fading away fast for us. Choosing to buy the Colt Bum Buddy Douche has reignited our passion again! The silicone bulb is easy to fill and squeeze when in use, the tip is wider than normal douches so a little lube is recommended but works extremely well as instead of one hole at the end as per other douches, this has one on each side of the end, helping for the liquid to be released quickly and comfortably. My only downside is because the tip is long and the bulb is large it is a bit uncomfortable to reach behind and so low, this could just be because my arms aren’t very long! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to feel cleaner and enjoy anal without any anxiety of unwanted accidents!

To prepare for anal play, I used to have a small douche and an enema kit but I was looking for a bigger douche that held more water but was still a bit less faff than using an enema. I bought this without really looking at the size of it in the description and honestly, it’s a bit big for me. It’s great that it holds so much water and it’s easy and quick to fill but it’s big and I struggle to use it. (I guess I have small hands and the struggle to hold/squeeze the bulb!) It would be great if it came with a shorter nozzle to accompany the larger one. But in terms of quality, I think it seems pretty good.

Being on the larger side of life, I wanted something I could keep hold of whilst reaching round to insert without getting its contents everywhere. So on opening the box, the bulb was definitely bigger than I had imagined but the nozzle looked to be just the ticket. A thorough rinse through, filled with lukewarm water, a generous dollop of lube and in it went. A good hard squeeze or three and let nature take its consequences. Repeat a couple of times and I felt totally clean.

The title says it all really, this really is the daddy of all douches. I’m very anally experienced so over the last few years I have tried close to 15 different douches and let me tell you, none of them come close to this. Don’t let the size of it put you off, this is a massive tick in the pro column, it’s about the length of your average dildo so it really isn’t too big to store easily. There are two reasons this is the king, the sheer volume the bum buddy can hold puts other douches to shame. There is nothing worse than being raring to go but it taking an age and a day to get prepped. Previously I’d have to keep constantly refilling to get squeaky clean, with this you’re talking two full bulbs at the most, three if I’m using particular large toys. The second reason is the fact it has multiple spray holes around the tip, combine this with the volume and I’m not sure a hose pipe could clean you quicker. If you’re buying any other douche other than this, you’re doing it wrong…

Bought this as an easier method for anal and colonic irrigation. Product arrived with the usual efficiency that Lovehoney provides in plain packaging. When used found that there are two main flaws: A) Bulb will suck back any injected water plus particles of other when released. B) Bulb easily disconnects from the insertable section which creates an unwanted fountain affect 🙁 Overall would not recommend.

I bought this without checking the specs bc the current one I had was terrible. upon recieving the size indeed shocked me.. When it came to usage, this definitely holds alot of water!! Its not a screw on so just be careful when inserting otherwise they might come apart from eachother. Another thing for me is that i need this to be lubed up alot when inserting otherwise i could kinda feel the holes on the end of the tip and it feels like its scratching inside.. however i’ve had no issues and the amount of water you can put into this and squeeze out is pretty great and better than the previous basic ass douche I had.

When I got this thing I was so excited. Then I opened the package from LoveHoney and I was like holy #@!$! It’s pretty big, but I’m going to try it. So I did. The nozzle is long, but rounded which made for easy insertion with a little lube. This thing holds a lot of water. The first use the bulb came apart from the stem, which it’s designed to do for cleaning, but I had to figure out how to properly squeeze all of that water out without breaking them apart. Once I figured that out I became a pleased customer. This thing really cleans you out and I feel the difference between this and a standard douche. With all that water you’re putting in, I suggest waiting about 30 minutes before it’s all expelled. Take a nice hot shower after and you’re ready for lift off! After using this douche I haven’t come across anything left to find when playing anally, which is obviously the point. I really am a sold customer on this product. If you want to be cleared for take off, this is the douche to use.

Now i have used a couple of manual douches and this one is ok all parts have a ok build quality but in my opinion 1 major design flaw Where the nozzle connects to the bulb is push fit this causes a major leak when you inject water but also if you even change angle it disconnects flooding your area around where your cleaning with water and after taking the time filling this thing its a pest. If you need one and get it on offer its ok but by far not the best iv used

I have had one of these for about a year now and I have to say that I think if you need something to clean yourself out, this is a good option. The curved neck of this is great and makes things pretty easy. I found that using this sitting on top of a toilet is the best way to use it. Just lean to one side and insert.I see some people talk about it coming apart. I can say that it does happen sometimes, but in my experience, that only happens if pivot it when it is inside of you. The hard plastic neck fits into the top of the rubber bulb and can become separated if turned. Through normal use though, this will very rarely happening and once you know how it comes apart, it can be easy to avoid doing it in the future. I would still highly recommend this if you want to clean yourself out for anal play. I can’t imagine getting a different cleaner without a curved neck.

In short this douche is okay but not great. For me personally it’s a bit big I find I don’t need that much water to get nicely cleaned out. The part you insert is a good idea with the water coming out in different directions but sometimes it hurt to insert it almost like the silicone had come away from the holes and I could feel sharp plastic. I’ve got a different one now and probably wouldn’t buy this again.
