Lifelike lover is an understatement!
I was kindly sent this product for an honest review. When I opened the package, I was very pleasently surprised… the look and feel was very much lifelike! The whole experience was also very much lifelike! I was also very impressed with the sucktion base so that you can use this toy in multiple positions. I am yet to try it out stuck onto the tiles in the bathroom. The size of the dildo was just enough to make me feel satisfied! The only disadvantage I would say is that the toy is slightly floppy and I would have preferred it to be slightly more rigid. However, this didn’t at all affect the enoyment that this toy bought to me!! Thank you very much LH!

As with all items I have gotten from Lovehoney, this toy was delivered quickly, packaged in a discrete cardboard box. The box the dildo comes in is of good quality, which matches the quality of the toy. When I took the dildo out of its packaging I immediately knew it was the most realistic toy I’ve ever touched. Compared to my other dual-density dildo (the Strap-on-me Bendable Silicone Suction Cup Dildo), the Lifelike Lover lives up to its name and is indeed more lifelike to the touch. Even my OH’s first reaction was to comment on how much it feels like a real penis. It is incredibly detailed and really feels like there is a thin, softer and more flexible layer of skin. As with a real penis, the head is more ”solid”. The suction cup is very strong, and also practical to hold in your hand and penetrate your partner with. The slight downward curve and the fact that this toy is very flexible put me a bit off at first. However, during play the curve isn’t noticeable at all, and the extra flexibility makes it great for anal play. When he used it on me (vaginally,) it felt quite a bit like a real penis, but more like a not fully erect one. It was too soft and, although it was filling, it didn’t offer any g-spot stimulation. I like the girth and length, but would prefer the dildo to be less bendable. I then attached it to my Lovehoney Unisex Strap-On Harness and, after some warming-up, we had an amazing pegging session with my OH. The dildo stayed secured on the harness and, because it was flexible, it felt nice and comfortable for him in all positions we tried. He particularly loved ”face to face”. However, with rougher thrusting, some of the ”power” was lost – I suspect because the dildo would slightly flex. I’m pretty sure it can get better as soon as we figure out the right position and technique. My OH really enjoyed it and keeps talking about how good it was, but he would have liked the dildo to be a bit larger… Needless to say, we are ordering the same toy in the larger size as soon as we can! I highly recommend using a good, thick, long-lasting water-based lube and reapply as needed. We found out that, with this toy, we needed to use a lot more lube than usual. This is a small detail, but the color of the toy is more pink than shown on the box. This makes it a little less realistic in my opinion, but it doesn’t matter much. The dildo was also inside two plastic bags, which seems unecessary. However, I’d like to note that this might not be the case if you order this toy. I was lucky enough to be chosen as a tester before the product goes live, so the retail product might not come inside two bags. After use, we spray the toy with sex toy cleaner, wash it with perfume-free soap under lukewarm water and let it air dry. As it’s very easy for dust, hair etc to stick on the dildo, we store it in a satin-feel drawstring pouch. It fits in the larger size out of the two that Lovehoney sells at the time I’m writing this review. Overall it’s the most realistic dildo I have, and a great toy for anal play. Harness compatible and with a good suction cup, it’s perfect for both couple and solo play.

Versatile pleasure provider
I’m a big fan of dual density but if you are not sure if it will rock your world this is a fantastic quality entry into the world of twin textures without putting a squeeze on the finances. Before the feel a quick word on visual appeal. It has nice she and colour (as long as you are not adverse to flesh coloured toys of course!) With a nice rosy blush to the well to the form head. I have a few dual density dildos now and I wouldhave to say that the difference between the soft outer layer and firmer inner core is probably least noticably on this addition to my collection. I think maybe this has more of a firm core and the softer outer layer is not quite as thick as others but this does have the benefit of giving it a nice, silky comfortable feel whilst not being floppy and therefore still gives a good firm massage to those internal spots. It was very comfortable in use, not too girthy and no drag. For me it provided a nice lovely slow(ish) build up helping towards a powerful orgasm. Basically it slowed me down in good way. Going back to the relative firmness (for a dual density toy) I was hopeful this was finally the toy I use to experience something softer anally whilst still being firmenouh to insert. I was right, the search for finally over! With plenty of lube and a good preparation I was able to achieve with this way hat I had failed to with my other dual density dildos. It was definitely different (in a pleasant way) to my other anal dildos and I am looking forward to experimenting further with as a more realistic feeling. Finally, the suction cup seems to be very strong making this and round excellent, good quality and good value and very versatile toy, well worth adding to even a good a sized collection.

Great, affordable dual density dildo
I wanted to try a dual density dildo, because soft, pliable toys tend to work better for me than hard, unyielding ones. This seemed like a nice, cheap, basic model, and I was not disappointed! It has a nice give to it and the outer material feels quite smooth to the touch. It does get a bit tacky, so keep it in its box, a case, or a satin bag, otherwise it’ll collect lint and dust. However, you could probably coat it with baby powder or something like that to keep it feeling supple. The core is not very hard compared to the surface layer (you can’t even really feel it’s double density), so the entire shaft is very flexible and bendy but it works for me. I’m not sure if it would be firm enough for anal or hard, fast pounding, though. The size is perfect, not too girthy but not slimline either. The colour is a bit of an unnatural pink but I don’t care for realism anyway, so it doesn’t bother me. The veins are fortunately very subtle so it’s not too gross-looking. All in all, an amazing introduction to dual density dildos and a new fav for me!

I’m not often a fan of realistic dildos, and prefer more “artistic” toys. Sometimes, though, a girl wants to spend a night with some more authentic company, so I went shopping for a dual-density toy that would feel like the real thing. I’m very impressed with the overall build – the shaft feels malleable and weighty in the hand and the soft outer is very squeezable, revealing the firm core inside. The finish of the outer “skin” did look a little irregular but this is the nature of the material. The cock bends nicely to contour to the body. I was a little disappointed that the length was not backed up by girth – the shaft feels a little skinny overall. However, since I often use this toy for anal, this works out rather well, and the downward curve is ideal for stimulating my partner while penetrating them from behind. Were sooo glad to have this toy in our collection. Me and my partner previously had the life like lover 6inch vibrating dildo and in my experience this one is much more softer and less dense. Personally I prefer a softer texture. It’s squishy however it’s firm and holds its shape very well. Feels amazing
This was only my second ever dildo and I purchased it to upgrade my solo anal play. It feels so much better than my other silicone one. It is soft but firm and feels so good with lots of lube. Honestly like the real thing. A slight word of caution though is that due to the bend in it some positions don’t feel as good and if you are overly aggressive it can bend easily. However it is still great, just the right girth and length for me to enjoy anal pleasure. Both me and my partner have used it and love it. Of course not as much as the real thing but it comes a close second. Make sure to wash it in lukewarm water and soap and let it air dry as it can attract dust and fibres easily.
