Just the right vibes
This love ring really does put others in the ‘shade’.I’ve had other more flimsy cock rings that didn’t really have much impact, but this one fitted on my penis fine and, once erect, didn’t slip off or swivel, so it was easy to get into the right position for sex.It has five speeds and 15 different patterns, from your normal straighforward vibrating to intricate pulses that really hit the spot.And I found that the intensities were ideal – from slow and steady vibrations to pulsating beats that meant you could choose a slow build-up or a fast orgasm.My partner was very impressed, as due to the larger size of the love ring (don’t worry, it’s not too heavy though!) the vibrations passed right up through my penis and sent the sensations into her during intercourse. A great design but with one major flaw!
I was sent this to test in return for an honest review and that’s exactly what I’m leaving.It arrived as ever in the always discreet plain brown box and once opened the actual product packaging looks very classy, with a simple image of the ring and the FSOG branding. When you open the box you’re met with the ring itself, a USB charging cable (no more fiddly little batteries to worry about), a storage bag which is made from 100% recycled plastic (great for the environment but feels a little different to the usual soft storage bags often seen) and two instruction leaflets – one for how to use the toy and a second which is essentially a health warning about using ‘Constriction Rings’. Which I’ll come back to later!The toy itself needs only an hour to charge up so I plugged it in, left it and came back a while later to give it a test. It feels great in the hand and is made from the usual smooth silicone that many high quality products now come in, is waterproof (great for easy cleaning) and lightweight. As always with new toys I had an ‘in hand’ test of the vibration patterns and settings and there’s a good variety to choose from both in terms of power and patterns. Theres a bulbous area at the top that’s designed for clitoral stimulation during penetrative sex (obviously only when you’re fully inserted) but I’ve no doubt the vibrations generated will also travel down your penis and be felt by your partner when that’s not in contact with them as they’re strong enough. I also gave the ring a stretch to see how durable and stretchy it was – important seeing as you need to easily slip it over your penis to use it – and it was at this point that my first concern occurred. I’m lucky (or in this case not so lucky) to be what’s considered ‘above average’ down below with a girth of around 6 1/2″. When stretching the ring with my fingers it seemed a lot less flexible than other rings I own, including a previous FSOG branded one. But I was sent this to test and test it I would.So after a brief warm up to get the blood flowing (cock rings are always easier to put on with an erection) and a liberal application of lube I gave it a stretch and tried to slip it on. Not easy, took a lot of stretching effort and once in place at the base of my penis it felt very, very tight. And not particularly pleasant. It had to come off. This brings me back to the second leaflet. It contains warnings regarding the use of constriction rings, the recommended maximum times for use and the potential injuries they can cause. Now this toy is branded as a ‘Vibrating Love Ring’ and is specifically called ‘Sensation’ – nowhere does it mention its more restrictive nature. Now obviously size comes into the equation here. If you’re larger than average you’re going to feel more restricted and it will be a tighter fit. If you’re of average size then this is unlikely to be an issue and it will more than likely do the job intended in a very pleasurable manner. I definitely think this needs to be covered off in the product description with a clear suggestion of who this toy is suitable for. There’s nothing wrong with the design. It’s well made, looks good and I’m sure feels great for those who don’t feel like their penis is in some kind of death grip and in danger of serious damage. But its definitely not as flexible and stretchable as others I’ve used and certainly won’t be coming out of the box again as it’s far too restrictive for me.I was obviously disappointed. But then it was sent to me to test, so hopefully that purpose has been served and this review will benefit those in a similar biological position to myself who will now be in a position to find a more suitable ring and avoid any penile pain they may otherwise have experienced. Happy to have taken some for the team! So on a personal level this would have been a definite one star review from me had I bought the item. But that would be unfair as it will definitely suit others perfectly well. But the lack of a clear description anywhere other than the small warning leaflet means it’s only an overall three star from me and the individual element ratings are based on my personal experience.Thanks to LH as always for the chance to test another toy for you.

We get it a good go in a number of positions and it felt awesome in all of them. Moving it around when switching to doggy was simple too. I was actually really impressed with it. Now – one of the things that didn’t work for me (although it’s not a negative…just not our style) was the higher speed settings. This little buzzer has some serious power in it. We mostly used it on speed 1 – but the options for more power were a bit overwhelming for us – although i’m sure for power players out there it’ll be awesome…The patterns were also nice, and varied – but again we’re more a constant speed couple…but if you like patterns its got enough variety to please most. All in all another good 50 shades item!

This product has a lot of pros but some cons as well.There are plenty of vibration patterns and strengths, the design is simple, sleek and easy to clean/ recharge.The design on the ring part however is very small, the material does not stretch very well and the circumference is quite small. It is hard to put on and when you struggle to do so, it hurts. The band/ ring is not perfectly rounded and has edges on the inner part, paired with how little it stretches, putting it on feels more like a trap then a toy. Once its on, its ok but due to how tight it is, it can be uncomfortable after a while.
