Description

This speculum may look like a duck’s bill but trust us, it’ll make you anything but a quack! Quite the opposite in fact. Take medical role play to the next level and add professional realism to your fun with this labia spreader from Bondage Boutique.

What’s up, Doc? Well, take a look and find out. This beginners speculum is transparent, easy to insert and features just one adjustable section to make use supremely straightforward. Plus it’s made of plastic for zero chills during insertion.

When closed, the insertable section has a 3.75 inch girth at it’s widest point, and length of 3.5 inches that’s comfortable for the patient. Once inserted, the Doctor (your partner) simply needs to twist the red toggle to gradually crank the ‘duck bill’ open for a greater view.

Achieve anything up to a 4 inch opening that enables easier access to internal pleasure points, such as the G-spot and cervix. Just make sure you always use this spreader with plenty of water-based lube to help insertion and stretch.

Please note: This speculum is not suitable for anal exploration.

    Speculum fun

As part of a larger order packed as always we were looking forward to an evening of new toys! Where do I start; well as a first time speculum user this was rather daunting as no idea what to expect. The item itself is plastic but sturdy as expected. We didn’t order an expensive one this time and it’s exactly as explained. We don’t know what a “high quality” one would be like so no comparison. This one kind of feels cheap but don’t be put off it does exactly what was expected of it. So lubed up and inserted off we go. Very easy to use by tightening up the bolt slowly until she told me to stop. She found it oddly very erotic and exciting and said it feels great being stretched out. From my point of view you do get to see a lot you’ve never seen before. Very enjoyable to be able to get your fingers in for a good feel about and wow it was fun. You get to see juices flowing and at different angles of insertion feel different areas. Overall she loved this and the feeling it gave her. So much so it has not been put away yet. I tried to get in through the opening which may have been fun but for me not big enough which could add another element to this toy!

    Open wide

Something a little different. Wasn’t sure on this one at first, but it awakens different areas as it is opened and secured leaving you open to your partners freedom. Anticipation heightens this experience. Need to try this more and maybe get used to it. Tip – you may want start gently and get used to the feeling a little.

    Experimental, Fun and Cheap

This was a first for us, we wanted to try some more medical style toys. The Speculum easy to use, best to warm your partner up first before using. Used it with no problems only thing is the screw can become hard to use as lube can get all over it. used with a spreader bar with great effect as she was powerless to do anything as i said Definitely a great first product to start into medical fetish

    Become your own doctor

Looks cheep but for the money it’s worth it. Easy to use with two people my partner finds it tricky on her own, gives a hole new experience in the bed room, overall for the money it’s perfect, easy to clean and good to use along side another toy if you feel adventurous.

Took our doctor play to the next level

After exploring medical fetish play for a while with rubber gloves and dress up- we took the plunge and invested in a speculum. This one is great for beginners as it looks ‘professional’ but not as threatening as some of the steel ones. The surgery was well and truely open- this toy made for a HEAVENLY experience with my husband- who loved the control he had over me when it was inserted and adjusted easily. Its very comfortable to wear due to the rounded plastic design, and it stretched me to perfection. I recommend using with latex gloves and silky lube for a gorgeous fun game of ‘doctors’.

    Beginners item

Having used a metal one I was slightly disappointed using the plastic one. The packaging was very basic and neat. I inserted and started screwing to widen. I was using this on my own and found that it easily wanted to push and slip out and quite a few times it did. It’s a good item for beginners and if you enjoy I definitely recommend getting a metal one!

Useful and fun but poor quality

Ah, the Lovehoney effect. Never in a million years did I think I would ever want to replicate having a smear test done, but then you start shopping at Lovehoney, one thing leads to another, and here we are. In my recent pursuit of the (hitherto) elusive g-spot, I thought it might assist my husband with a bit of exploration. I have read that the surface of the g-spot looks and feels similar to a walnut. My husband makes a mean waldorf salad, and is therefore very familiar with walnuts (you see where I’m going with this). He is also quite a visual creature, so I thought being able to see it might help. He donned his head torch, limbered up his neck muscles, and so to work. The speculum itself was smooth to touch (as you would hope) and easy to insert with a not-excessive amount of lube. As others have said in their reviews, my issue with the product was the cheapness of the tightening screw. The thread on the rod felt poorly finished, and the red bolt to secure the place didn’t seem to fit the thread overly well. Had this fairly fundamental part been of a better quality, the whole ‘feel’ of the piece would have been a lot better. Once we had successfully grappled with the thread and bolt, I was surprised that the bolt did ‘bite’ as it should do to hold the speculum open quite wide. Husband had a good look around, and I actually enjoyed being able to lay back and have him look at parts of me that he had not seen before. Yes I felt vulnerable, but I do find that increasingly enjoyable. From a practical point of view, we had partial success as despite the lube making the view quite blurry, husband could tell where there was a clearly more textured area on my front wall. This did involve me having to change positions from on my back to on all fours with a speculum wide open…..that was an interesting sensation! Just purely from a curiosity point of view, I did remove the speculum with it still held open as far as comfortable, and boy was I surprised at how open it was. From a self-exploration perspective, this confirmed to me the old saying that you can accommodate a huge amount of stretch comfortably IF you are relaxed enough. Having the visual proof of seeing how far open the speculum was really fired this point home for me. I’m not sure how often we will be making use of this in the future, except when I want to feel completely vulnerable again, probably when restrained as well. Purely from a learning point of view, for both me and the husband, this was worth the small price of the item. Shame it just feels a bit cheap due to the thread, but I guess you get what you pay for.

    Better than I expected

I’ve been trying to persuade my incredibly vanilla partner to experiment a little in the bedroom and this was something I added to an order with some other items to try. He agreed to try it despite this being the item he was most wary of and after a little foreplay to warm up and a generous layer of lube I lay back and he inserted it. He had it open at full stretch to see me inside and watched my muscles contract as I brought myself to climax with clitoral stimulation. He enjoyed seeing that more than he thought he would (Even had a light down there!) and our world will hopefully start to be a little less vanilla! Not the most polished of items, but worth it for the experience!

    Open wide and say aaaaahhhhh

My hubby And I aren’t really into medical play but we do love a good pussy stretching session and thought this would be a perfect addition to our toybox. It’s cheap but fairly well made ,the plastic is smooth and slips in smoothly and easily. the product is easy to use and can be operated one handed for solo play. we had a lot of fun experimenting with it,the physical stimulation and being able to stroke and touch deep inside your vagina is amazing and the visual display is extremely erotic. it was such a massive turn on that my hubby pretty much cum instantly when he saw how wide open I was. definitely recommend !

    Mixed bag

This was our first foray into the speculum world and my OH was keen to give it a go as he was curious to see what I looked like inside! I also like the idea of being stretched open so I went with this speculum as an introduction. It comes in a plastic wrapper-not very exciting but then it’s what’s inside that counts! For the price it’s pretty sturdy. It’s easy to use the screw to adjust the width, but just be careful not to unwind it too much or the pin comes out and it falls apart. It is however, easy to put back together.I did like the feeling of it stretching me open but my OH felt that it didn’t stretch me as wide as he had wanted so from his point of view, he didn’t get as much out of it as a did. I twisted it to the side and got really good access for g-spot stimulation, so the combination of that and a vibrator inside me made me super wet. To remove it, you just twist the pin until it is closed enough to get out. However, don’t close it completely, or attempt to pull it out too quickly as it will pinch (ouch!). All in all, not a bad speculum for a first go. Medical play is definitely a yes for us, but I think we will upgrade to a metal one.

Cheap feel, but does the job! I love seeing deep inside her pussy!

I’m a bisexual male, 26 and my partner is a straight female, 23. Well, what to say! I can see right inside her pussy and it looks great! We purchased this item as part of a larger order, curious as to what it would look like inside her pussy. It has a bit of a cheap feel but is easy to use and really opened up her pussy for a good view… she even made me take a photo to show her; even she was surprised at what she saw! We’re into bondage and often speculums come into that category under a medical fetish, which furthered our curiosity. I like to spread her open with this speculum and cum directly into it delivering my semen straight into her open vagina (kind of an impregnation fetish of mine).Overall a good product, cheap and cheerful but gives a nice view into the vagina you probably wouldn’t have seen before.

    Great beginners piece

Bought this on a whim within a recent order as we had discussed medical play.On arrival I was not sure of the durability with all components being plastic, but we have used it a couple of times now and no signs of it failing .People buying this obviously know the purpose of such item but for those who don’t, be aware that there are no instructions for use.Item worked as expected however it was smaller than expected and if this is something that is going to become part of our play we will be looking to purchase the metal version

Great for exploration by yourself or with a partner

Seems like I bought this for a slightly different reason than most. After a bit of a gap between boyfriends, I was embarrassed to find sex with my new bf a bit painful after feeling too tight. I wanted to be able to ‘loosen up’ so to speak on my own to make for better sex, but I couldn’t believe how expensive dilators were and knew if there was anywhere where I could find an alternative it would be love honey! This cheap bit of plastic hasn’t disappointed! It’s a reasonable size when closed so easy to insert with a bit of lube, and you can easily open it up at a pace you’re comfortable with. It’s really helped me to relax and practice exercises to help with the pain, plus I have no doubts that after a few weeks of use I won’t be having any more problems! I’d recommend this to anyone who needs a bit of a confidence boost!

    Great Exploratory Tool

This purchase was “exploratory” both because of its intended use and because it offered a much cheaper way to see if medical play and spreading were as arousing as we thought. The clear plastic offers a great 360’ view inside and spreading was easy and comfortable.Although the description and some reviews say that this tool can be used with toys, we found that the opening didn’t allow for insertion of anything larger than a finger. And, unless you turn it sideways, the top part of the “duck bill” blocks access to the g-spot. It is easy to use and durable now for over a year, but the plastic material has some rough edges that can scratch or pinch if you are not careful and well lubricated. At the price, this was a great introduction to medical play paraphernalia and will work until we want to invest in a surgical steel speculum.

    Great fun

I like others ordered this on a bit of a whim . I like be being stretched so thought it would be fun . It doesn’t look very sturdy but it is . We weren’t sure if we wanted to try medical fantasy or just explore so gave it a go . It was a great sensation , I felt a bit selfish but OH said are you kidding I can see right into you it’s amazing . With the help of a bedside lamp angled correctly we got some great photos and it has been used on more than one occasion . No problems with sharp bits .The screw is a bit fiddly if your hands are covered with lube so have a towel on hand . Well worth the price .

    Fun times

Bought this for me and because I know SO has a bit of a medical fetish. Her initial reaction was a bit of “What the heck?” but she didnt say no. lots of lube and a few minutes later she had her legs up on my shoulders as I slid it in her.My SO is really small down there and it still wasnt a problem. couldnt open it up much though. I thought about one of the metal ones but I would want to make sure it was a small. Some thoughts – You need something sturdy to put under her butt to get elevation. Our pillows were just not firm enough. I ended up using it “upside down” with the handle facing up. Next time Ill have her butt up more.Ive seen people use these in conjunction with dildos. It will need to be an ultra thin to work. The back opening just inst that big and it doesnt expand. Overall just a fun toy and a great addition to our collection.

    No complaints!

This does exactly what it is designed to do and it’s super interesting to see what everything looks like if you’ve never been to get it done at the doctor before. I can see myself using this for some role play in the future possibly but I’m happy with it just for checking things out!
