Electrifying?
Warning, wall of text incoming. I’m going to be thorough about the unit, but I won’t delve into the intricacies of electro stimulation itself. I will simply say it is extremely enjoyable in my (solo) experience, offering un paralleled deep sensations. The Axis comes in a quality rugged carry case with a fair bit of room for extras on top of the included accessories; micro USB charge cable, 2 x dual pin leads, Aux cable, 4 electro pads. I can easily fit a tube of gel, my cock loops/rings, and a slim anal probe in the top pouch of the case. You could definitely fit more if you took out the foam insert from the bottom that holds the unit safely. The unit itself is bulky, 6.8 x 11.2 x 2.1cm, and took maybe an hour to charge. It has seven robust buttons that have a rather strong clicking sound. The Axis has several main modes. Wave, Pulse, Flick, Tilt, Proximity, Microphone, and Line In. There are sub settings for how it manages the output, like both channels at a time, alternating, speed, duration etc. It quotes around “50 settings” in total I believe. Wave: a slow increase and decrease in intensity. Pulse: a sharper increase and decrease in intensity. Flick: motion control where how quickly you flick the unit from vertical to horizontal changes the intensity. Tilt: motion control where horizontal is normal, rotating it up or down increases or decreases intensity. Proximity: holding your hand above the unit and moving it closer increases intensity. The motion modes don’t seem practical to me as a solo user. I prefer the machine on a pattern. Microphone is, well, sound based, so if you’re louder…you get the idea. Definitely no use to me. Line in, could be very interesting, but the dual channels are controlled by stereo input, so don’t think of this like a song input, it doesn’t really work. Electrastim state to look at their site for audio files for this specific input but they don’t appear to have anything yet. This could be great and I’ll get to that in a minute. Now the thing with everything above, you still have to set the power level, which is 0-50 (20 is too much for me) and sub settings if you want to change things up. That means clicking buttons for changing level, sub setting and swapping between modes. The latter which also unhelpfully defaults the level to 0 if you simply want to go from Wave to Pulse mid session. You also have to cycle back through them all to go from Pulse to Wave. Which is why I have high hopes for Line-In, let’s say an audio file could represent wave and pulse and it cycles, no defaulting to 0 in this case. Finally I will go over Gesture. No buttons, just a swing of the hand. Kind of. There is a practise mode, but it makes an ungodly beep when you want to be quiet in the evening. Anyway, just swipe your hand an inch or two above the unit; Left to increase the left channel, Right to increase the right channel, Down for both channels down, Up for both channels up. Vertically up and away and vertically down and away for swapping mode and sub setting. Left and right is easy and registers 100%, up and down are about 80% or it tries changing mode/setting, and the vertical up or down to change mode or setting, maybe 30-40%. The latter will need practise I guess. The other thing with gesture, if you hold an incomplete one or it can’t tell what you wanted…the unit pauses maintaining intensity, followed by a sharp return to whatever setting it was on, akin to a short pulse. That said, the swiping left and right to do individual channels is amazing. I say that because I set it to Wave, Builder Alternate, and waved my hand to heaven. It has a couple of issues I mentioned above, however you can update it like you would a phone or computer. Almost. I didn’t update mine yet, but the instructions looked 5-10 minutes long as you download and tweak a few things. Subsequent updates will likely be quicker to do. They said there will be more features added down the line, as well as bug fixes and firmware updates, so maybe the gesture controls can be improved among other things. In summary, great case, sturdy kit, a lot of fun, still some gimmicky modes, one mode not really usable, some unfriendly moments, gestures hit and miss, but certainly things to look forward to. The fact this can be updated might mean it’s the last Estim machine you’ll ever need to buy. If this will be your first foray into Estim it only comes with 4 pads so I would recommend purchasing some conductive gel and some sort of cock loop and/or insertable depending on your sex. Or both, and have fun together. Is it worth £350? Perhaps, but only if you don’t already have something similar, and if you’re new you have additional accessories to buy for the best experience. I had a rather impulsive moment as mine was discounted thanks to my lovehoney membership. Fun times ahead.

Shockingly powerful
I first got interested in electrosex a while ago – the idea of hands-free orgasms has always been fascinating to me, so I picked up a flick duo pack ( with penis loops and so on ). After much messing about I managed my first HFO, which was a very different experience, to say the least! However, to achieve this I needed to set the flick to pretty much flat out, and only one pattern would do the job, so to speak. I then decided to make the ( rather substantial ) investment in the AXIS, which seems to be at least 3 times as powerful… when you add in the fact it has effectively hundreds of patterns, it is, in my opinion well worth the extra money, especially if you are considering the larger electrodes ( hint – you should ) Top bit of kit!

Very good
I was reluctant to spend this amount of money on what is a glorified TENS machine but it certainly proved worthwhile with so many variations and access to audio files to allow you to experiment with new patterns of sensations
